Asriel had arched an eyebrow at Kathrin after eyeing Danny. "Actually this water is fine." He said blinking; sounding a bit confused. The service to him seemed a bit, hyperactive... or something like that. He opened the menu, and found many different items to choose from. He was too undecieve when it came to things like this. "Yeah, I need some time to think of my order too." He said, staring at the menu, feeling like it was going to take forever for him to choose.

"That's cool, no rush." She says, smiling. "I'll just run and go get that Virgin Strawberry Dacirie for ya." She says, glad she didn't have to start off trying to remember like 20 bagillian orders. She flashes them a bright smile, then retreats to the kitchen to hand over the drink order to somebody who actually knew what a Dacirie was.

Asriel continued to look through the menu. Gah, so many choices... He fliped through the pages and picked a few things he might have liked and chose between them. "So, what are you having?" he mummbled as he continued to look through the menu. He was thinking between the lobster, or a chicken sandwich.

Katrin looked at the menu and twice over. "Hm....The chicken cesar salad sounds good....I think I'll have that...." She put down her menu and looked out one of the many windows at the sunset. She put her elbow on the table and rested her chin in her palm. The light from the setting sun gave her eyes an orange tint to them. "I've always loved sunsets....There's aways a scertin...magic to it..."

Asriel eyed her from the menu. The first thought that came from Asriel's mind. She looks... pretty in that sunset... He shook his head slighty, to avoid from staring and looked back at his menu. "Yeah, I think I'll have the Chicken Sandwich with their special sauce..." He said putting the menu down and directed his attention to his sword, it was uncomfortable.
He unlatched from his side, it took him awhile to do so while sitting in the booth. Once he had done it, he leaned it against the wall on the floor under the table with the tip of the handle just above it. The sunset had given it a brillant light and the jade jewel had now become a ruby in the sun's glow. Yet Asriel found it rather normal.

"A Virgin Strawberry Daciriei? What is that?! Ok, I'll just check the cookbook..." Roxy stopped beating herself up about the sunset and windows, and grabbed the large cookbook down from its shelf. She flipped it open to the index, and ran her finger along the tiny alphabetical lists.
"Hm...here's the v's...here we are! A Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri! Page 276..." Roxy thought out loud as she flipped through the book to the right pages, her brow wrinkling in concentration. Well, I need some strawberries, obviously...I suppose that's a start!

Danny walks in and hands the order over to Roxy, hoping she might know what a Dacirie was. When she didn't Danny started getting nervous. What if they messed up on their very first order? Hearing the words 'cook book' though, Danny feels like hitting herself over the head. Why hadn't she thought of that? "Good idea." Danny admits, then looks over Roxy's shoulder at the index. "Hey, aren't Dacaries kinda like smoothies, or pina coladas?" She asks, remembering having one of those at the beach once. "I think we'll nice ice then." She says, before moving over to the fridge and filling a cup with some ice out of the freezer half. A blender would work, right? She thinks, then frowns in slight confusion and looks around. Danny sets the cup down, then starts opening cabinets as she looks for a blender.

((Ok, I looked the recipe up on Google, so this should be right, lol))
"Well, in this cookbook, it says that we need a half-ounce of lime juice, an ounce of frozen strawberries, one teaspoon of sugar, an orange slice, and a strawberry...that sounds easy enough!" Roxy looked dubiously at the instructions, but shook her head at her own folly. If that's what it said in the cookbook, then it must be right! She headed over to the freezer and grabbed a bag of frozen strawberries. Good thing our fridge is fully stocked...
"And yes, Daquiri's are like pina coladas. Normally, they're alcoholic, but if it's a 'Virgin' drink, then that means no alcohol...for some weird reason..." Roxy shook her head at the folly of humans with their strange names for drinks, and dumped the strawberries on the counter next to the ice. "Ok, now for the lime juice..."
Roxy went back to the fridge, opened it up, and dug around for a lime or two. "Oh, we're so lucky! There's a grater sitting right here in this drawer! I wonder why it's in the fridge...ha ha ha!" Taking out a cup and knife, she cut open the limes and grated the juice into the delicate glass.
"Ok, Danny, do you have the blender? This cookbook says to...fill a 'mixing glass,' which I suppose is a blender, with crushed ice, and then to put in lime juice, frozen strawberries, and some sugar..." Setting down the glass of fresh lime juice, Roxy turned to the cabinets and started digging around for some sugar. When she found it, she grabbed a spoon, measured out the right amount, and dumped it into the lime juice. "Boy, one drink takes a lot of effort!"

Hold on...we have other orders to fill...we're losing time... Snapping to reality with a jolt, Roxy spun around to face Danny. "Oh no! We still have to get the chicken sandwich and the chicken caesar salad! Which one do you wanna take? I can probably handle the drink by now..."
Even as she talked to Danny, Roxy rushed to the cabinets and opened them up one by one. Finally, she found a tiny little plastic blender, with some simple-looking controls. She got down to business and dumped in the juice, strawberries, and sugar, and mixed it quickly with a click and a whir of the strange little machine. She tossed it into a neat little wineglass, stuck in an umbrella and an orange slice, and winked at Danny. "Piece of um...what's the term...cake? I'm not all that used to these strange phrases...forgive me please, heh heh..." Roxy balanced the glass onto a round tray, and tried to calm her shaking nerves.
It's just two customers, waiting for one glass of some frozen fruit...it's O...K... With a deep inhale, and then a whistling exhale, she pasted on a smile and walked with what she hoped was a confident manner. "Here you are! One Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri! Sorry for the wait..." Roxy lifted down the glass and set it down carefully in front of the girl, bowed, and retreated back to the kitchen...

Kathrin didn't take her eyes away from the window. She seemed hypnotised. You liked sunsets didn't you dad?...I wish we saw more together...before you...left...
When the waitress came over with her drink and set it down with a slight 'clink', she snaped out of her trance with a light jump. She mubled a 'thank you' as the waitress went on her way. She grabed the straw and stired the drink a bit, then took a sip. "Mmm....It's very good..."

He stared at Kathrin now with concerned look on his face. The trance she was in seemed to wrry him a little. "Does staring at the sun bother you or something? You seemed... away. Like all zoned out for awhile there." He said with a small laugh. He folded his arms and slouched in his seat in a cool-looking way and just smiled at her. His sword had moved slighty while he moved, it was rather cramped where he sat.

She looked at him, "Hm?....Oh..no...it doesn't bother me...it just reminds me over the good times I had when I was a child...I'm sorry if I worried you." She smiled at him to asure him that she was ok. But her eyes looked glossey, as if she was about to cry. She took another sip of her daiquiri. "So...what do you plan on doing after this?"

"Hm? After we get out of the resturant? I dunno... Probably just go decipher more of the book my brother left me..." he said, his voice slowly going into a murmur when he mentioned his brother. He sighed slightly. "That book is going to be the end of me..."

"Ok, we've got the Daquiri covered...now the food items! Both of them need chicken...I'll get that!" Roxy walked over to the fridge and browsed around in it, looking for a bag of chicken strips...
Found 'em! Roxy pulled the bag out and dumped it on the counter, then dug around in the cabinets for a bowl for the salad and a plate for the sandwich. "Hey Danny, um, which order to you want to take care of? I'm good with either one, and they're both pretty easy to understand, unlike that Daquiri, ha ha ha!"

Hey wait a second...I still need to finish up with that picture...oh my gosh, I need to get it developed and sent! Maybe Danny can handle the orders until I get back...
"Hey Danny! Do you know of a good place to get pictures developed? We've got a job order to fulfill...so I need to to get these developed and sent!" And that made Roxy think about what would happen after the pictures were sent...If they got the pictures sent, then maybe this mysterious "distant visitor" would really like it! This person might decide to advertise or something, and the restaurant would get more customers! It might even help the salaries of the employees... That sounded really exciting to Roxy. More pay=accessories for pets (in Roxy's mind)! But first, she had to get a pet...wait, back to the job at hand!
Roxy racked her brain for a good place to develop the photos...it was a state-of-the-art digital camera, so the pictures could be developed by a computer, but the paper in most printers around the school were not high-quality, therefore the requesting "visitor" might be disappointed, even though the sunset itself was pretty. There were stores that developed pictures with nice and shiny paper, but Roxy didn't know of any that were close by...maybe there was something in the mall that she could use...
