*Her gaze shifted towards tenez, it was about as pericing as hawk's eyes and they had the same emptyness in them as well* Who knows... *she mutters softly* I... *she pausings looking at the house and shakes her head, no need to say I'm not comfortablein mansions, she thought, everyone will just laugh.... she starts to pace just a little with her hands behind her back* I suppose we should go in, people might think we're up to something if we don't *she up and down the street*

(Sorry about the long wait. The computer browser sorta crashed, and... yeah. I blame Windows ME. And Ar... I... uh... DON'T KNOW! Gahhh XDD Let's just say it's ANIMAL SIZE and leave it at that. ROFL.)
"Excuse me for a moment." Hearing the knock, Kanth opened the door a second time and let everyone in with a smile. "Please, make yourselves at home. There's more than enough food for everyone, as well as space." Letting them all pass by her, she closed the door and sighed just as the rain started to pour.
"Perfect." She murmured to herself, turning to her guests. "So what would you all like first, a movie? Food, perhaps? I've never really hosted anything, so you're free to suggest what you'd like to do. There's a pool room, there's a room with a pool, as well as many more features that I'm sure you'd like to explore on your own." Winking at them, she turned and went into the kitchen.
Erae glanced up at the guests, waving at Sidney and Acia. Awesome! They made it! He was happy.
"It's not quite like that game, Anastasia." He grinned at her. "Though I suppose you could imagine that you're killing the arrows. Here, watch." Starting up the game, he picked an easy song and matched the arrows up to show the chameleon what to do when they reached that point. "See, you match up the arrows and then step on the coordinating arrow down here." He pointed at the mat. "And the arrows - you have to get them right." When the song finished, he stepped off the mat and bowed.
"After you, Anastasia."

*he stood up and dusted off his back and...bum... and then cocked a brow at LP* What do you mean "up to sumthing?" Like we are stealing her mail? *he grinned* Its actually a federal offence to take ones mail. We'd be arrested!. *he laughed a bit and headed for the door.* Come on then, we might as well just go in. *he headed for the door without her and placed a firm knock upon it.* Hurry LP! *he called back. his stomache gave a nervous lurch as he awaited for the door to open, but he pushed it aside and forced himself to be ok with this. He tired his hardest to not feel out of place, and now he was just eager to get inside.*

*She walks in hands stuffed in her pocket* Yeah I suppose so... *shrugs; she looks round* allo kanth.... peeps.... *she mutters and leans on a wall, normal habbit at any time and place; lofts brow* you have pool? Interesting I haven't played that in 20 years... *she chuckles softly, yet it wasn't full hardy.*

D gazed about as she made her way inside. "Thanks Kanth. Gee nice place you've got here." She marveled at her surroundings. "A indoor pool?! Ah, if only I had bought my bathers." blaugh
Spotting Erae, or who she suspected was Erae, she gave a delighted grin. "Hey hey! Who's all grown up?" Sidney also peered over her shoulder to see what she was going on about. Oh! It was Erae and he was big! Kinda like Nayati and Ana. He gave a hiss in congratulations.
"Well, I'm ok for food at the moment." D assured Kanth, "Just let me know when it's ready." Turning to LP, "Pool huh? Well if you want to play I'm up for a game. What do you reckon Sid? What would you like to do?" She put him down on the floor.
Sidney looked around. Hmmm... he was itching to go explore the place and Kanth had mentioned a swimming pool. He did enjoy swimming. Oh and his friend Erae was here too! But... as he watched the skunk child bounce around playing some strange dancing game, he figured that wasn't his cup of tea. Maybe do something with Acia?

*LP took out one of her swords and started to polish it* I suppose a game of pool would be nice, mind you I'll be a little bit rusty *she finds a smudge on her sword and starts to clean it.* It's been a looonnnggg day. *she muttered* kinda wish it didn't start drizzling at the woods... *she stopped, and looked around. No don't finish that you idoit whom ever doesn't know will think your a savage or something. She shook her head softly* But that doesn't matter.

((Ahemm... Time warp I suppose, so I'll be here not sick. ^ ^ ))
"Don't you think she already HAS food?" -The question was soft, and more rhetorical then serious as Nayati glanced from the many things Iris was happily carrying in her arms before he turned his attention up to the big house.-
-A soft giggle accompanied the question and she nodded lightly, pushing forward.- "Well of course she has food.. but you can never have too many sweets," she mused shifting the large trays in her arms. Perhaps she'd gone overboard.. but when didn't she? And besides, it was never very friendly to come to a party without bringing something along.-
-Nayati smiled a little, remembering his past indescrisions with sweets.. especially the time that him and Dheo got through an entire sheet cake by themselves in one day. Oy did he remember.. Shifting his grip to hold onto one of Iris' little hair curls, he waited as she knocked on the door.-

"Howdy Kanth, Erae...everyone else." That was about as far as Moo got with words. True, her home was large, but her home was OLD. This house was NEW...and awesome. Drool. She was itching to explore the place, but decided she would leave that to Acia. Instead she contented herself with mingling with the other humans. Acia would tell her EVERYTHING when they got home anyway...
A knock on the door caught her attention, and, after a quick glance to Kanth, she opened the door, grinning and stepping aside for the pair to enter. "'Lo Iris, Nayati. Come on in. Umm...no idea where you can put that. You'll haveta ask Kanth."
By this time, Acia had glided down from her caretaker's shoulder, and was watching in fascination as Erae demonstrated DDR. That looked like...so much FUN! But she was small e.< She wouldn't be able to jump... Well, she could watch for now. And she probably would have, had the house not been HUGE. She's had never ever been here before, and there was soooo much to explore! But Erae and Ana were busy... Sidney! Chittering excitedly, she scrambles over to the snake, cocking her head curiously. Did he want to go explore???

Poking her head out of the kitchen, Kanth waved to Iris and Moo. "Welcome! Glad to see you guys could make it." Stopping, she stared at Moo.
"...what happened to your hair?"
Erae turned to Acia, waving ecstatically. Was everyone here?? He didn't know - some of the velvets he hadn't met yet!
"So many people! So coool!!!!"

"Ah that's fine! I may have some chance then!" D grinned at LP. She didn't make any comment about that last bit though. She had heard LP say something about living in a tree. Well, whatever she liked... it wasn't D's business.
"Hey let's ask Kanth for directions to the snooker room eh? I'm sure we'd just get lost if we go looking for it ourselves." Heading quickly over to where Kanth was standing in the kitchen doorway. "Hey Kanth, could LP and I go play pool? And umm... give us directions?" She added sheepishly, before realising that Kanth had just been talking to someone. Turning around to see the other shop owner and her unicorn child.
"Oh Iris, Nayati!" She cried upon seeing them. "I haven't seen you in ages! How are you?"
By the way Acia chittered so excitedly and kept glancing around, Sidney could tell she was just as keen on exploring the place as he was. He gave a hiss and nodded his head towards the other doors and then the ceiling. There seemed to be soooo much house he didn't know where to start.
(( Ooo have you got any sort of map Kanth? Or just a description of what's where so Acia and Sidney can go cause troub- I mean go exploring in a carefull, non-"Oh my God! That was my grandmother'vase"-breaking way. sweatdrop ))

Maybe you built a DDR pad out of one of the original Xbox controllers? All you'd need would be a custom plug adaptor...))
Anastasia watched carefully, and tried to explain to Erae, "No, see, he's not s'posed to die... 'sjust... he dies a lot 'cause, umm... and he gets eaten by aliens and dropped in acid and stuff."
After a few moments, she thought she had the idea. You stepped on the arrow when you saw it on the screen. Carefully laying her odd little encumbrance to the side, she stepped onto the mat once Erae had told her it was ready, and began.
Once the song finished, she asked Erae, "How'd I do?" ((Assume mediocre-to-bad. I don't know what that would equate to for DDR))
Anastasia's companion wanders past, keeping an eye on Anastasia without appearing to keep an eye on her, and waves to the new arrivals.
"Moo! Acia! And... everyone else! How's it going?"
"LP! Still got yer sharp thing, eh? Do me a favor-don't let Anastasia play with it..."

*she laughs* Aww why not ar, I think she'd be pretty good with a sword. *she shurgs* but as you wish. *she takes out a pair of ninja spikes and puts her hair back outa her face, it was kinda messy*
Not like I'd be stuipd enough to give her the real things. nor the others unless they learned the basics. With something unsharp.

Moo blinked, laughing hesitantly. She raised a hand, absently flicking the mohawk with one finger. "Ehh.... my sons decided they'd 'cheer me up' while I was sick. Aren't they...thoughtful?" She grimaced, as if they couldn't have done anything worse to make her feel better. She had gotten well, however, so....maybe it was good luck? "I'm getting used to it."
After returning Erae's wave, Acia turned back to Sidney, nodding cheerfully in reply. She glanced once around the room, then skittered for the nearest door, chittering excitedly. This was going to be soooooooo GREAT!

(Let's see... xD There's the main hall, and four 'rooms', with one hallway. I assume I'll have to draw this, eventually. The kitchen is straight from the doorway across the living room, there are two doors seperate from each other on the right and left; the right leads to the pool room where you can play on the pool table, and the left leads to the actual pool. Next to the left door is a large spiral staircase, and the hallway is right behind that, leading into actual bedrooms, bathrooms, and whatever else you guys want to add. At the end of the hallway is a door, and that's a surprise I will save for later. >3 Upstairs are more rooms, and there's a stargazing room with a glass roof over it so that one can stay inside and stare at the stars without having to be outside. Also upstairs, there are more rooms; one with a bunch of paint stuff, a room where a big screen tv is to watch movies on a theatre-like screen, a room where Kanth does her writing - and where Erae's progress journal is, hint hint xD - and a large room with... a bunch of swords and knives and daggers and whatnot, to practice Erae's sword training. >3 Might not want Anastasia to explore for too long.
Also, to explain DDR a little, there's a certain number of arrows you have to get to get a certain score. There are five things to get on an arrow; Bad, O.K., Good, Great, and Perfect. Depending on how many of a certain one you get, the grades range from an E - meaning that you didn't get any, or did really bad - D, C, B, and A. There's also the AA and AAA score, but on the AA you have to get most perfects... but on the AAA you have to get all perfects. Something I haven't really accomplished yet, but it's hard.
Hopefully that will explain enough. If not, feel free to ask more. ^^; )
"It looks good on you." Giving Moo a crooked smile, she pointed to the left... where Acia was already heading. Sweatdropping, Kanth laughed. "I think Acia's heading towards the pool room already. Would you guys like something to eat while you're playing games?"
Erae ran his fingers through his hair - er, fur, actually... - and smiled. "Well, you did better than I did on my first try - though I was an animal when I first started. A C is pretty average, but D's are okay if you're first starting. C is a good score for you; you did pretty well, but you might wanna practice more if you wanna make this a hobby." Grinning, he waved her on. "Why don't you try Vanity Angel? It's techno themed, and pretty soft, and easy. Unless you like hardcore things?" He glanced at the mat, grinning even more.
"Hard to believe that Kanth helped me build this out of ... X boxss? Material... X.. bawks?? I don't know how to say it." In truth, Kanth had made Erae read books aloud for quite some time after he changed, but he hadn't complained much - he'd been studying cool techniques in sword fighting, cool new styles for clothing (but he liked his own, thank you very much), and fantasy as well as sci-fi books.
Once, he read a manual with Kanth for how to assemble that thing. It was great... he loved it, and loved the way it turned out, though it was a bit glitchy in the daytime - something he couldn't quite figure out.
Bing! Duh. Maybe he could ask Acia about it later!
