Jubilee took Zukin's hand and followed her out of the shop. She shrugged. Well, she had seen the castle before, so the park sounded like a good idea.
"How about the park?" She said happily, starting to tug on Zukin's hand. She paused and looked up sheepishly. "Maybe you should lead."

Grinning, Zukin headed towards the park. It was in a little cut-off section of the town, surrounded by trees and hedges. It had everything a kid could ever want in a park.
It took a few minutes to get there, but the walking was definitely worth it as she opened the park gate and grinned, she hadn't been to this park in a long time.

Jubilee clapped her hands excitedly. "Ohh, swing set!" she cried, dropping Zukin's hand and taking off towards the swings.
She jumped on the nearest one and started pumping her legs. Oh, this was kinda lame.
"Come push me!" she called to Zukin.

Zukin laughed and headed over to the swings, her favourite part of any park she had ever been to. She grabbed the two chains at Jubilee's sides and pulled back, before giving her a push. Making sure not to make it too hard or too high of course.
"So, what were you doing in that tree before I caught you earlier? Planning to launch on any passerbyer, or was I special?" She asked with a grin.

Jubilee straightened out her legs as the teen gave her a push and she soared forward. "Wee!" she cried, laughing. She hadn't been able to play on dry land for a while, she was mostly by the sea.
Jubilee shook her head. "I dunno. I guess it was just convienet you were there and it came to me in a flash!"

While Jubilee had her fun on the swing, Zukin flew up to a nearby tree and rested on a branch against the tree trunk, watching Jubilee.
"Well then you should be glad it was me under the tree, most people don't take kindly to people jumping on them." She spoke with a grin.
"So tell me more about this Kida, you think you're going to get in trouble with her for hiding her bathing suit then running off?" She asked, swinging her legs underneath her.

Jubilee laughed. "Well, I wouldn't have jumped on someone who looked grumpy!
She paused.
"Unless it was Mozenrath. Then I would have."
Her swing slowed a little and she leaned forward and back to get it going faster, then shrugged. "No, not really. Her way is more to get back, then to get mad, and she already did. By swimming in her underwear." She wrinkled her nose.

Zukin grinned "Well that's good, but I bet he wouldn't appreciate it any more than other grumpy boys." She leaned against the tree as grinned, remembering how she thought as a child.
"Ew, in her underwear? I think you better give it back to her so she doesn't do it again, hm?"

Jubilee shrugged. "Skimpy underwear, skimpy bikini, it's the same thing really. One just makes her more aggrevated then the other," she grinned. "So it'll stay hidden for a while."
She paused, thinking, then continued to pump her legs on the swing. " 'Sides, she hid my gloves on me," she held up one small peach hand, small scorch marks were on the chain of the swing she had been holding. "She can have her suit back when I get my gloves."

Well, that didn't work, "Why don't you try negotiating with her? Maybe she'll be so impressed with your maturity that she'll return your gloves?.... and if not, then you can threaten her, I mean... they are yours, and she did take them first. Besides you need them, they're important."
"That doesn't hurt, does it? Without your gloves I mean, because if it does, I think I might want to have a little talk with Kida.

Jubilee shook her head quickly. "Oh, no, it doesn't hurt at all. It's just more likely that I blow up a VCR without 'em."
She shrugged. "Kida doesn't really see much in maturity. I mean, she's older and she doesn't like dealing with kids, but...I think it's because she's just a big kid. I've seen her with Jack. They don't do mushy stuff, like most couples. The laugh and play tag."

"Well..." Zukin leaned foreward on her spot on the branch "why don't you make sure you're near one of Kida's appliances in the near future?" She smirked.

Jubilee giggled. "That'd be quite the task. Her cd player is normally with her, and where she normally is, is around water." She shuddered. "I don't know if that's safe."

Stroking her chin as if she was thinking hard, a grin played across her lips. "That's quite the pickle then, I guess you're stuck, you'll just have to sneak your things out of their hiding place. This 'Kida' doesn't seem that ninja, maybe she has them under her pillow," she suggested with a snicker, imagining Jubilee finding them there after searching everywhere else.

Jubilee laughed. "She probably would hide them in a dumb place. Maybe the attic. She's been spending a lot of time up there," the little asian girl said thoughtfully.
She looked up at Zukin, not pumping quite as much on her swing. "What do you mean Kida is missing out on her relationship?" She wasn't quite sure what the teen was getting at. Jubilee saw Kida and Jack with a perfect relationship. "They're so comfortable with each other they can both act ridiculous, rather then being all icky and the way people expect them to act."
