After a few more moments the waiter had retuned with both of there orders handing Ashrem his wine and Satinka her champaign. Looking at his food Ashrem slowly began to eat, his high upbringing showing in his manners and equite. After swallowing he looked at Satinka.
"so tell me... why did you chose to become a member of the Iliriya?"
He dabbed at the sides of his mouth with a napkin while he waited for a responce.

"Indeed" replied Issildia in a flat tone. "But, I will not be one to hinder this land's hope to resolve it's problems with words, instead of blood...it may be a futile endeavor, but so be it."
She then looked down at the dusty earth, "But if this be the case, then why are you here, you have never been the sort to commit to an action without reason."

~Azure only smirked as he stood normally. He brushed his hair back a bit and finally opened his eyes, the jades of his pupils gazing out at the masses of the population.~
The winds have changed. The beasts have been attacking far too often. The crime rates in the cities have grown. I was even attacked once I arrived at this place. Perhaps someone at this meeting can provided an explaination. Though what I do gather from these attacks, I always seem to be the target of their rage. Perhaps there is another experiencing something similar, but I will not rule out foul play.

"My people have picked up multiple rumors concerning a clan that call themselves the Infinitus...I'm certain that you have also heard of them. They preach of idealism to ensnare new candidates...but from what information I have gathered they do nothing to deliver upon their claims. Already it is said that they have mass followings in Natori, though I know not of their leader." Issildia stated darkly.
"But these lands have always been corrupt, it is not different that those that we left... greed breeds corruption, there is no escaping it...no matter where one walks." she said with disdain.

~Azure had taken a few steps ahead of Issildia as he listened to her words. He knew the truths that she had spoken of far too well.~
Indeed it does....but we have stalled long enough. I believe it is time to pay our colleagues a visit. I am curious as to how they tend to handle the situation set before them. Though I am certain they will not be pleased to see me.

Satinka was glad to see that their food had finally arrived and resisted glaring at the waiter. She poked at the leafy stuff on her plate.
"Why? Well, Issildia kind of found me wandering around one day. For some odd reason, I didn't attemtp to kill her, it seemed like that'd be a waste of a decent person. So I decided to follow her and she decided to rehabilitate me to kill only when necessary."
She gave up on the vegetation and took a long swallow from her champagne.

Ashrem was abbout to respond when suddenly several shouts were heard from outside the restruant. Looking about he noticed that many of the patrons and even the waiters were going out too look. Standing up he took another peice of bread and smiled walking towards the door, pauseing to look at Satinka.
"what do you know? Dinner and a show..."

Hykoshi smiled, the town was impressive. He pulled a flute from his robes, and was about to put it to his lips, when his wife put her hand to the flute, and pushed it away slightly. "Haiku, please, not now, your tuned remind me of sadder times..." She smiled softly. Hykoshi smiled softly."Of course, my dear, a tear out of your eyes is worse than a knife in my hand." Her pet name for him always made him bend to her will, and they both new it.
Jinzo scowled, from a good yard away, his wife was not as beautiful, not by a long shot. He was jealous of their embraces, and nearly hated them for it. He was good at hiding his emotions though, and his lifetime of having to would only help him.
arm in arm, Hykoshi and his wife walked in the back of their allie's group. Jinzo melted into the crowd, scouting for information.

(((btw, everyone there is an NPC section up in the main thread, I still have more to add but these will do for the time being.)))
Issildia offered no reply to Azure's words as they set off towards the towering citadel that marked the focal point of the city. The citadel of Atazoth was a massive structure that was composed of a dark copper colored stone. Slender spires rose up into the sky, framing the main part of the building that housed the council chambers that the Order was to meet in. The leaders of some of the smaller insignificant clans were gathered outside the massive building talking amongst themselves before the meeting commenced. The crowd immediately parted as both the leaders of the Matanuska and the Iliriya passed through the crowd. Even without their titles they were well enough known within the realms of Narvinye.
Once within the entrance hall of the citadel; a room of cool gray marble with halls that branched off in all directions, the leaders of the larger and more significant clans could be found.
Though in particular a group in the center of the room was easily set out from the rest, for an argument of a sort was now taking place, an argument that seemed to include a duo of humans and two other clan leaders.
"Kiris , give it a rest." argued a man who's face was hidden behind a mask designed in the profile of wolf. "So you would be one to protect their kind Darin...they have no place here!" responded a dark haired woman who was garbed in the clothing of the desert clans. The woman then turned angrily on Darin Azarak the leader of the Aydolen Clan.
"These weaklings have no place here, humans are of no use to the Order." she argued in a rough tone.
"Naelith no." ordered the eldest of the two humans, as his younger companion, who appeared to be his daughter stepped forward as if to challenge the woman that was criticizing their very presence at the citadel.
"But Father!" Naelith exclaimed, horrified that Ashlar would do nothing to defend their right to be there. "I will not have your recklessness provoke antagonism against our people...we should never have come here." he muttered lowly as he caught his daughter by the shoulder and pulled her back to his side.
"Listen to your elder child...he knows better than you, it would seem." spat Kiris as her attention shifted back to them.
Naelith the made move as if to draw the dagger at her side but before she managed to free it of the sheath Kiris leveled the tip of her katana at the young human's neck...

~As the woman raised her blade to the human's neck, Azure's disapproval could be sensed. He made no comment toward the humans, he only stepped passed them, and stopped once he reached the more agressive of the two. He only raised a single knife to her jagular as he spoke to her, the assertion in his voice demanding obedience.
Lady Illendi. Surely even you realize that it is treason to shed blood within the halls of this citadel. Such crimes are punishable by death. :Stare: It would besuit you to let these humans be.

Hykoshi seemed to not hear the argument, and laughed and joked with his wife about how the man's mask was scary. He tried to not be too loud to not overhear their conversation though. He, Jinzo, and even his wife were gathering information as well as possible. Hykoshi tried to stick with the group, even through the crowded building.

Kiris's eyes flared in retaliation, "Who do you think you are..." she uttered in a low tone laced with rage. Behind her Darin merely smirked to himself, this expression hidden by his mask. Kiris merely gave him a venomous glare as he departed towards the main hall that led to the council chambers, leaving her to deal with Azure alone. As this happened the two humans Naelith and Ashlar shrank back a matter of steps to avoid any harm should the woman decide to do anything foolish.
"Yes, Lord Valkari would be most unhappy if you interrupted another of the Order's meetings with your...recklessness." Issildia interjected in a cynical manner glancing only briefly as Ashlar and Naelith before looking back to Kiris.
"Nevar..." Kiris seethed. "Meddling in the affairs of the Order once again." she replied, in the same manner as Issildia had addressed her.
"What can I say." replied Issildia icily, "I prefer to be doing something worthy of note than to be hindering the lives of others...Go back to your lands Kiris unless you have more purpose here than to harass humans."
Kiris seemed as if she was about to attack Issildia even with the knife at her throat but thought better of it as she lowered her blade. "Sad is the day that people such as yourselves protect the likes of them." she added coldly while glaring at the humans. She then abruptly stepped back away from the knife and turned to start off towards the main hall that led towards the council chambers.

~As the woman, Kiris, left their presence, Azure sheathed his blade and stood normally, his arms folded in their usual position. He was not surprised that she was unfamiliar with his face, as he usually chooses to stay away from large groups of politicians, however... the circumstances were demanding an explaination.~
So the corruption that plagues these lands have cast its shadow even upon this citadel. Interesting.

Hykoshi stepped to the side of Issildia. His hand was on the hilt of his sword, his thumb posed under the gaurd."Is this all done with?" He asked coldly. He had appeared like a shadow from nowhere.

Issildia didn't offer Hykoshi an immediate reply as she looked back towards where Kiris had dissapeared into the main hall. "Yes it is done with...for now..." she finally replied.
"Let's get this over with, Lord Valkari will be unsettled as it is." she uttered grimly as she set off towards the council chambers.
"I trust that things have gone well enough for you so far Hykoshi." Issildia asked in a curt manner as they walked.
