Haveo sneered at this pup and his attitude.
"Why should I? You surely don't deserve it...but...you can...if you answer my questions...Chuki"
Haveo sat right on top of the antelope's head looking at Chuki with a smug smile on his face. His violet eyes searched Chuki's canary yellow ones looking for a clue about this arrogant pup so he could figure him out.
Haveo's brows furrowed as he realized that he couldn't find anything out. So he deicided that he to just go ahead with the questions. So he asked the first thing that came to mind.
"First question...what are we?"

chuki raised one eye brow as the other pup ask the qusetion...then looking just alittle nervous and moving his eyes left to right to try and figure out an answer he says...
-huum ... i not sure...my mother would call me sweet little pup sweatdrop sometimes..."
chuki now with hurtful eyes as his mothers face raced in his head...
-"what kind of question is that any ways!! i just want your meat.....my stomach hurts."
chuki even with hunger overwhelming him he still stands as he shakes off his almost tearful eyes...and takes one step closer...the sun was setting and it was almost a full day he hadnt eat anything.

Haveo stepped off the carcass, looking sadly at Chuki.
"Go ahead eat," Haveo sighed sadly and looked at the ground as a blue beetle made his way across the ground, "I'm Haveo by the way...and...I don't think that question was that odd seeing as I really don't know what I am. I was raised by others that were grey with spots and manes...I think they were called hyenas."
Haveo swiped at the beetle and looked at the sunset before turning his gaze on the other pup.
"What's it like to be raised by someone that looks similar to you Chuki?" he asked silently before lying down and curling up around himself.

chuki jumpd on the dead antilope and sinks his teeth in the meat tearing at it like a wild beast, well you could say he was....his eyes look up at haveo as he ask another question with his mouth full he replys...
-you ask a lot of questions haveo ."
then starts at the meat again...then as he glances at the other pup..he notices the look on his face and maybe understood where he came from...as he swallows the last mouthful of meat he looks at him then sits ...looking at the same beetle he replys..
-"well you have a lot of brothers and sisters and we always play together hardly ever fighting...my uncles are the best hunters in the world they would aways bring home food in every hunt...i'm gonna be a great hunter one day just like my father! and uncles...my father was always prised by the others and would save me alittle extra ...sence i was the smallest sweatdrop "
chuki stopd eating he was already full from eating to fast...his mind trys to forget the day of the elephants but it just wouldnt go away..
-"anyways haveo what ever we are we most be the same ?? i mean we look alike except for the colors on our fur, right?! "
chuki says all excited then he walks near haveo and flops down next to him..
-"haveo, will you stay with me intill we find more like us??...i'm not scared or nuttin.........i just think its a good idea?"

Haveo rolled over and looked at Chuki with an oddly surprised look on his face. He turned his head away in a thoughtful manner.
"Well...I guess we should. It would increase our chances of survival and stuff."
Haveo got up and crushed some ants with is front paw, licking some of the ants off the ground.
"Chuki...from now on we're gonna be the best of friends...right?"
He turned to look at Chuki swiping his tail across his companion's face. Haveo chuckled at Chuki's reaction and sat next to him and stared up into the dark sky as the stars twinkled as if they weren't going to be there tomorrow.

chuki lowered his head as haveo lay next to him...his eyes still excited that he had found another like him..it wasnt his familt but it wasthe closest thing to it..
"yes of course..now we'er the bestest of friends...i'll watch your back and you watch mines.."
chuki said with a wide smile...
-"so where to we go now haveo??....i usually follow my parents ,but sweatdrop "
chuki no longers want to think about anythink bad and he jumps to his feet in a plyful manner...
-"lets just go towhere ever our paws takes us haveo!"
he says as he stalks the same beetle from before.

Haveo watched Chuki stalk the beetle before turning his head towards the sky once more.
"Well the dry season is coming soon so we should head towards the lake. I think it's that way." Haveo moved his tail so that it pointed to where the sun rised. He turned to look at Chuki before picking up the beetle in his mouth and ran back the way he came totally forgeting the carcass.

-"i was gonna play with it..."
chuki ran as fast as he could to keep up with haveo...he thought about the dry season and wandered if haveo new which way they should really go.

Haveo suddenly stops dropping the beetle and making a tight turn and pounces on Chuki rolling the two all around. After a bit more scuffling he pins Chuki and sits on him.
"I win! You know, in my hyena pack I was stuck with so many other kids I couldn't eat alot. Therefore I had to battle with them for food. And yes I do know the way, the Hyenas and I went to a watering hole all the time during to dry season. Mostly to hunt though. You're lucky that I know how to hunt well."
Haveo smirked at Chuki before turning on his back and lies ontop of him.
"Well we should rest. Night Chu'"

chuki gets to his feet and shakes himself off..
-"i bet they werent better then my father and uncles..."
chuki said as he went to lays down...
-"and i would have to fight all my brothers and sisters too...one thing about us that i do know haveo...is we all had big families...a whole pak, you would'v loved it."
chuki says as he rolls on his back and stares into the nite sky....

"I probably would of...now go to sleep Chuki...tomorrow we have to get close to the elephants...they'll get us a free meal perhaps." Haveo said sleepily his lids falling over his violet eyes. Rolling over so that his head rested on top of Chuki's, Haveo smiled content and began to doze.

chuki takes a deep breath then lets it out...he too was dozing off now...

Makatas blue eyes glanced around nervously. She spotted Chuki and let out a small whimper. Her tail flickering as she pawed behind a rock.

chuki eyes close as his ears pop up...he had heard something not to far from them...he slowy opens them to try and see what it was, his sight was blurred and the sky was now blue..he tries to focus them to see the figure more carefully haveo was stil asleep and chuki didnt want to wake him...again his nose had to do the job in finding out what this thing was........as it did his eyes shoot open....another?!?! he thought as he jump up and barely got the words....
-"who's there?!!"
his throat still try was the sleep.
((i know my rp'ing seems alittle off sweatdrop but i just woke up))

chuki only stared at the other pup...haveo was still asleep even though his head hit the ground hard when chuki jumpd up...he still couldnt really see him his eyes still werent forcus and the day was just becoming blue...
-
'who's there he says again?!!"
chuki takes some steps back and decides to go look for a pond or river..maybe he was dreaming ..maybe he didnt see another pup...with no reply from the other dog...he ventures out.
-"man i'm thristy! weres the darn water at?"
chuki says to himself as he left haveo ...no to far behind still sleeping.
