September 10, 2004
School. It keeps me busy, but luckily there are weekends. ^^ I've been pretty much leaving my bloom at home while at school. I kinda hate abandoning it like that every morning, but Simara is watching it...and she's a responsible snake. 3nodding I'm worried about what I'm going to do when the feien emerges though. Would Simara be able to take care of an obnoxious juvenile? eek Hrmm...I should consider talking to Hannuel sometime. Anyway, I've been brain-storming names for the bloom. ^^ I have an interesting name in mind, but for now I'm just going to wait until he/she emerges. 3nodding

September 12, 2004 Dear Diary, Raphael came out! Yay! I named him after a dead gold fish, but he doesn’t need to know that! In fact, I made up a whole thing with Simara where I asked her about what day it was and stuff. Then I pretended to calculate his name. Isn’t that cool? Anyway, I hope minty green Aramis didn’t traumatize Raph too much. Apparently the feien emerged while I was at dinner and got threatened to be eaten or something. Luckily, dinner at our house doesn’t take very long and I got up there before Aramis made an idiot of himself. I’m having Raphael stay in the basement with Simara, just to make sure Aramis doesn’t suddenly decide to try anything. I’m worried the basement might be too cold, though, so I’m leaving some nice fluffy blankets down there too. Hopefully I’ll be able to set up some real sleeping quarters for him soon.
Raphael Maybe Magiale is overeacting? After really thinking about it, I don’t think that Aramis was actually going to eat me. He seems like a nice, interesting snake, and I’d love to learn more about him and Simara. The lights down here in the basement are quite dim, and it’s cold, though the cold is kind of reassuring. Simara is huddled up in the blankets, though; I don’t think she likes the cold. I’ve had a lot of fun flying around the place. Simara is asleep, so I don’t have to worry about her watching me. The basement is really big but a little drary, so I can zoom around without bumping into the walls. It’s fun. The ‘led’ or whatever its called is running out, so I hope (The last words are faded and illegible)

September 13th, 2004 Well, Raphael really caused me a bit of a panick today. Not only was he not sleeping under a blanket, he was also on the book shelf AND he was cold. Like, dead, stiff, cold. I think. I dunno, maybe I overreacted. But still - living things should not be allowed to assume such a temperature. Rawr. xp It's a good thing Simara's around to calm me down. sweatdrop Raphael Dear Diary, Pencil lead again. It leaves an interesting stain on my hand. I think today was pretty uneventful. Simara and I spent our day in the basement in uncomfortable silence. She opened a book for me and I tried to read some of it, but I've already forgotten most of the story. I'd like to say things to Simara, like how greatful I am she's watching me, but I don't think I can. I don't know why. Last night I tried to sleep in the blankets, but they were itchy and uncomfortable. I flew around a bit last night, and I also slept on the book shelf. I'm really tired though, so I'll end here. ~Raphael

September 17, 2004 Well, Raphael has settled in quite nicely, I think. heart 3nodding Simara said he's been reading and stuff, so I'm glad. Reading should be good for him, me thinks. Hopefully, though, Feien have smaller books that they can read more easily. I thought he looked kinda strange standing there on top of the page of "The Black Stallion". He's so tiny. *cough* Anyway, I'm building a nice house for him! I'm putting it in one of the old storage rooms! It's next to the basement air conditioning, so hopefully he'll feel nice and cool. 3nodding Though I still think it's strange that he likes the cold so much. >.> Raphael really doesn't say much, which has been kinda bothering me. I wish he'd talk more and tell me if he wants anything! I gave him a bunch of foods to try yesterday and he said he liked all of them, even the hot chocolate, which I know he didn't like because he didn't even go near it.<.< He's NOTHING like Aramis, which I suppose should be a kind of relief, but at least Aramis lets his dislikes be known. *sigh* Raphy's such a nice kid though. 3nodding I hope to actually do some shopping for him and buy some actual feien-sized stuff, and I'd like to bring him with, but I'm kinda hesitant to take him outside any time soon. ~Magiale Raphael It was great to be able to see my bonded again. Simara still makes me a little uncomfortable. She gave me a book yesterday and told me to read it, but I had trouble. The letters are very big, and I'm not particularly eager to read, to be perfectly honest with you. When Simaras asleep I do a bit of flying. I don't know if I'm getting better, but it's great to just zoom around, though I wish I didn't get tired so easily. Anyway, Magiale had be eat a lot of things yesterday. I regret eating all of the foods, and she was disappointed when I said I liked all of them. I dunno, I don't want her to get angry, that's all.

September 19th, 2004 Ice's and Silva's Beach partyI went to the shop with Raphael so we could look at some of the items. There wasn't anyone in the shop, but we did find a map to a party taped down on the counter. I didn't want to steal someone else's chance of getting to the party so I took a picture of it. 3nodding Yes, that's right, I carry a camera around with me everywhere. As a side note, I also have some nice pictures of Raphael I've barely managed to take, maybe I can tape them into the diary sometime. xd He's hard to photograph, though. Anyway, we went over to the house and I left him there to hopefully make friends and socialize. I was a little worried about him getting hurt and I left my phone number, though felt kinda ridiculous afterwards, since Ice had this most adorable little daughter. 3nodding I should know by now that a household with children isn't going to be very hazardous. xp ((Simara: *snort*)) When I brought Raphael home he was sopping wet. I suppose he had been swimming, which is nice, but he wouldn't let me dry him. He kept squirming away from the towel and saying he was fine. But honestly, that kid is going to get a cold, especially sleeping in the basement like that. x.x Hopefully they won't take him away for abuse. *hides him*

September 25, 2004 Visit to the Shop Raphael and I visited the shop the other day. 3nodding There was no one there, unfortunately, but we were patient and waited. Then a few people and their feien came around. We met a standoffish bonded by the name of Rhia; her feien Ava looked as if she was having a fit, but luckily there was another feien there who calmed her down...hmm...Irisa, I think it was? Letsee...Oh yes, then Raphael finally followed my advice and actually took the initiative to introduce himself to someone! I'm so proud. I believe the feien was named Koralu, and he was very interesting to look at. Unfortunately, Raphy didn't get much chance for friend-making. We had to leave hastily and for reasons I'd rather not say. Heh heh. o.o

"Raphy! Fly on up! Your items are here!" Magiale's exclamation resounded throughout the basement, easily disrupting Simara's soft snores and piercing through Raphael's crate. He heard her, and would have flown up(Obedient feien as he was). Being unable to move, however, he instead mumbled a half-hearted assent and turned over on his comfortably cold table cloth. Besides, she wouldn't be able to see if he actually flew upwards anyway, considering it was impossible to see into the crate from outside. And...sleep... After all, it was 2 AM. Why Magiale was up at such an hour was anyone's guess. "Oy Raphy!" Now the scary voice was much closer. In fact, it was hovering right above his crate. Eeh. He opened one bleary blue eye to look at the ceiling of his home, but instead found himself looking up at a rather excited Magiale, who's hand had a hold of him before he could react. "Items items items items Raphy we have items items items items...!"
Okay. He had a headache now.
Up the stairs they dashed, a tired Raphael rubbing at his eyes as the force of their movement blew at them. When he could finally see again, the lights were on and he was set in a sitting position on the kitchen table, staring at a myriad of different yellowish things they had ordered a week or so ago. "Lookie! String! Vial with white stuff in it! Paint! Well..." She frowned as she noted a few things missing. "Well, we don't have everything yet. But that's okay! We can make do with what we...uhmm...Raphy?" The little yellow feien was fast asleep on the table, and...um...oops. She noted with quite a bit of dismay that his left hand was dipped in the brown paint bowl. And brown was such an icky color. Why had they gotten brown? Ah well. She pulled the offending hand out of the bowl with a careful precision, letting it plop down on the table. Hmmm...oh....It was just paint. Nothing too bad, right?
