Arieta Cruz Well for me I think i would have liked Kairi better if she was actually portrayed as normal.... Spoiler The no darkness in her heart thing made me really mad...Everyone has made one little mistake! If they portrayed her better I would have liked her better but no I was stuck finding myself disliking her. Now I do like her when I portray how she should be in my head. This is why i liked Namine...She was normal...well a little.End spoiler

This is why i liked Namine...She was normal...well a little.End spoiler -> I can understand that, but the thing is, shes a princess. It's implied that ALL of the princess' are like that. It makes sense. The 8 princess' hearts were the imbodiment of light. But even though the deepest dark can only be gotten by the brightest white, the white is perfect, and has a boundry. The rest of those living in the KH universe is the penumbra, the buffer zone, the half in half out of light, where the princess' are the Light, and the Nobodies/Heartless etc are the Dark completely dark.

Rainbo_Ninja_Fae_of_Doom [ evol ruoy deen i ] well.. kairi i happen to like.. but.. that is okay.. i guess.. i can be the only one..that does.. but i don't really see why people hate her so much..anyways.. sweatdrop well i have to go be back later..^^ [i need your love] I don't hate Kairi...In fact she's one of my first three favorite charactres....^^ Quote: I really only see Kairi bashing threads..... She doesn't bug me usually as long as she stays out of the way of the Riku/Sora love! My long-term memory sucks, but wasn't she the one that brought Riku and Sora back together? I mean..she did kind of take Sora's hand, and give it to Riku (when he was still Ansem).

Well, she's okay, I suppose. Still fun to bash (gotta find some way to place all my teen rage).
I'd like to think that she'd just want Sora to be happy, but she seems a bit possesive, so I actually don't see that happening. Probably why I see her as more in the way then just an innocent bystander.
Though I am glad she got Sora and Riku together. *nod nod* I mean, she's still their friend, and I like imagining them all being friends forever, even if who is more than friends in their group is up for questioning.

Kairi isn't making problems for Riku and Sora on purpose... And in the second game, as someone here pointed out, she did have a major hand in their reuniting.
I've said it a million times... It's not Kairi that I dislike. She has her annoying times, but who doesn't? The only time I really don't like her is when she seems to get in the way of things, or serves no purpose whatsoever... which is rather often, unfotinutly... However, Kairi as a person - if say, I were to meet her in a non-KH setting in real life, I probably wouldn't have a problem with...

^^; I'm mostly annoyed by the fact that she hardly ever does anything.
Of course, she did have a few redeeming moments towards the end of the game. <3
