After being dodged by his second attack, Nero got low and tried a sweep kick towards his feet. Looking up at Rowan as he dodged his attack, Nick backed up and caught his sword. "Not bad. Maybe it's your turn you came at me..." Nick stuck his sword in the ground at crossed his arms, awaiting the next attack.

"Heh he, you really surprised me." Rowan removed his headband and tied his hair to keep it from his face. "Get ready..." He pointed his blade to the strong warrior and lowered the tip onto his left hand, a sword technique that was impossible to survive, although he loathed this move it always ended any fight quickly. I might be going too far, but I really need to see what this guy can do. Rowan smiled. "Your not the only one with speed...see if you can stop me." Rowan rushed his opponent leaving behind him two shadow clones of himself, he did not wish to kill this man, but he would not go easy on him.

Rowan placed his palm on the ground and flipped upward to his feet, a look of annoyance was on his face, but then it faded to a smile. "Not bad, you really are something. Your the first one I know who actually managed to counter that, I praise you." He patted the dirt from his black shirt, and sheathed his sword. "I know you have agility and some intersting techinique. But let's see how good you are with your martial arts." Rowan postitioned his arms in front of his body, moving them in the stance of the Dragon.

Rowan looked a bit puzzled at his opponents form. "Uh...nice stance. If you think of dodging your going to have a hard time." In a blink of the eye, two shadow clones appeared under Nick, they grabbed his legs and launched him up into the air. Rowan would then thrust his two main fingers into his neck, the Piercing Talon, it wouldn't kill him if Rowan controlled it but it was going to hurt. He jumped up into the air and wrapped his arm around Nick's neck, prepared to knock him out instantly.

Rowan's clone faded at his touch and he dropped to the ground, staring at Nick. "Your pretty clever you know, don't take this the wrong way but you would make an outstanding theif." Rowan relaxed his stance and touched both his swords this time, he pulled them out slowly. "Okay, let's end this. If you can hit me once, you win and I'll let you in on the gold I've been given." He raised one sword up and lowered the other. "Your move!"

Rowan fell flat on his face, he layed there in surprise and humilation. He turned over and looked at Nick, he laughed. "Hah ha, I can't believe you knocked me down. Well I guess you win then, I'm your new partner." The guards finally arrived, a few minutes too short."What goes on here, fighting is prohibited!" Rowan looked toward them and frowned. "Well...looks like it's about time we ran, ready?"

Rowan looked around in amazement. "So this is what you did, nice move." He looked around and noticed that the guards weren't all here. "Let's head for the exits, follow me. If we get out of here they won't follow us any further. Rowan ran passed the slowed crowd, leapfrogging over a guard. "Come on!"

Rowan dodged the up coming civilians, jumping over most of them. Multiple guardsmen lay waiting in front of the closest exit, they were heavily armed with silver tipped weapons. Damn...what do to do? He looked around and saw the cities wall, it was high up but not impossible to reach, a husky merchant came into view, he smiled. Rowan ran up to him and used the big man's head as a foot hold, he leaped up the wall and sighed with relief, he turned his eyes back to his new partner, the guards were moving faster. He whistled to his comrade. "Yo, over here! Jump for it, I'll help you up."
