Well that shut Yakuti up real good. "You... You know Jamaa?" Yakuti said, ashamed of himself. He had promised Jamaa that he would remember him and he had kept his promise, but then he thought of what Jamaa would think of him if he saw him like this... But he was afraid of what Mafa would do to him if she found out. "I can't... I-I don't know what to do anymore... I have to do what she says!" Yakuti growled softly, more at himself than at Ger before lunging at him, "You don't understand!" he barked, choking back tears. He wouldn't kill the cub, but he had to make him leave, if he stayed in the graveyard, they were both in trouble.

"Hey don't be blamin' this on me, buddy. I am only here to look around and keep my end of the bargain." he replied. Ger's bristles slowly faded, but still remained around his neck.
How did Jamaa even get to know this guy?
"Who's Mafa and what does she have to do with you and Jamaa?"

"Mafa... The graveyard belongs to Mafa, I belong to Mafa... I'm in her pack now and I'm on strict orders to kill any lion who comes here!" Yakuti was so confused, he didn't know what was going on with Jamaa, "How do you know Jamaa and what is this bargain you are talking about?" Yakuti asked impatiently.

"I just wanted to explore this place that's all. Jamaa asked me if I could find ya and tell him what you are up to, in return he tells me everything about this place." his posture went from offensive to a more mellow, calm one.
"Jamaa wanted to see ya, but he didn't want to bother you." he said, cleaning himself again.

"Well... Well now you know better than to come exploring here!" Yakuti said firmly, "You're lucky you didn't meet anyone but me here or you wouldn't be alive."
"Tell Jamaa that I'm fine, and that if he visits it won't bother me, but tell him that he needs to be careful if he comes here... Now go, before anyone finds out that you were here." He said, but the little lion had started to clean himself again... Ugh... Well, if he wouldn't leave, that was'nthis problem, so Yakuti turned and walked back into the direction of his new den, hoping that he didn't smell like lion.

Ger stopped licking his paw and turned to Yakuti who was already leaving. Ger smiled. He was lucky that his first Hyena encounter went so well. Ger rose to his feet and started back up the hill, turning back to see the blue dot disappear into a large elephant skull.
"Good, deals done with. Now to head back to the Pride Lands, this place creeps me out." his golden furred body shivered. Quickly he left the graveyard and immediately ran back to where he first met Jamaa the wild dog.
"At least I got good news for the dog."
