It was almost like a game of hide-and-seek all over again, and Sora - despite his best intentions - was getting just that little bit tired of it. One could only play this game so many times, after all.

He had taken off in his gummi ship earlier after handing the Heartless their asses on a platter - well technically it was a keyblade, but who was complaining? - to try and search for both Riku and Kairi; both of whom were probably searching for him as well.

When he realized that they were in Twilight Town as well, it was too late. Said town was sealed, and he'd had to get out of there as well. So here he was, with a little less than smooth landing in Traverse Town with no one he knew in sight.

That particular scenario was not alien to him at all; in fact, a strange sense of deja vu crept through him as he took in his surroundings and considered his next move. This was where he first came when Destiny Islands was under attack - so to speak - and this was where he'd first met Donald and Goofy, as well as Riku.

Pushing the reminiscent memories away for the time being, Sora shook his head. There were more important things to think about - like what the heck was going on, for one. And the most important agenda, where were his friends? Had they made it here safely?

Setting off at a brisk pace, the boy headed over to where Accessory shop was, keeping his eyes peeled for any familiar figures. Traverse Town was large, but he'd manage. Once he reached Cid's old shop, he'd decide on where to go from there, with only a single thought in mind.

Please be safe, Kairi. You too, Riku.

Tag? That was it? Just a simple game of tag? Well, that would be kind of easy, wouldn't it? Nah, it sounded too easy. And from what Demyx had learned from movies as a child, the villains never made it so easy. Not unless they were stupid, but honestly, the musician knew that this annoying cloaked person probably didn't have something equivalent to his IQ or under. She was smart. Kairi's voice snapped him out of his daze about movies and evil women and back into Traverse Town.

"Oh right, split up. Good idea. Meetcha back here!" Demyx winked at the red-head as she scampered away, towards.... what the sign labeled as Third District. He was about to take a step forward when he remembered Namine.

"Hey, Namine, you gonna be okay with splitting up?"

The brown-haired 17-year old didn't even notice Sora walk by, heading towards the accessory shop.

Huh. This was almost gonna be too easy. That musician kid was way too dumb to even be able to keep up with her speed, the smaller blonde looked pretty out there too, the sharp-tongued blonde annoyance was merely that, an annoyance, and well.... maybe the red-head had a chance. Maybe.

It was slim, but she may prove this particular lady wrong.

In that case, Six wouldn't give the poor girl a chance. The rest she might just take pity on, if they even started walking or even running. Though she expected that the mullet-head may just trip and fall if he tried to think and walk/run at the same time. Ha! Pathetic. The cattish smirk curled on her lips again as she dashed towards the clock tower, intent on sitting up there and filing her nails.

Yawn, and yawn again.

Sora jerked to a stop as he heard the name. Namine? He remembered the name - Kairi had mentioned that Namine, Demyx, and Larxene were here as well. The water-based musician looked like he was extremely preoccupied, considering the fact that he hadn't as much as sent him a passing glance.

"Demyx?" Sora began, a tad bit unsure. The others had said something about the strange brown cloaked people after the Organization members. At first, he wasn't too bothered by it, considering what kind of people they were and how they tried to kill him. But he had found out that they had hearts now, and were not - essentially - the people (or lack thereof) they once were. Having hearts had to count for something, right?

And besides, he killed them. Sora's forgiving nature would not allow him to be overly antagonistic to the people - who, in his opinion, had already had what was coming to them. That, and holding grudges were just too tiring for the fifteen year old, who had better things to do with his time.

He reached out and instinctively caught the young man's arm as he passed, his gaze worried. Perhaps that was why he wasn't paying too much attention to his surroundings at the moment. "Where's Namine? And do you know where Kairi is?"

Kairi stood right behind the 3rd Distract door, ready to go off and look for the woman when she heard voices. Which she could idenify easily. Demyx was talking to Namine about something....and...there was another voice....

S-Sora!?!

Kairi had to be sure, she had to make sure it wasn't her mind playing tricks on her.

That cloaked woman could wait! This was more important! Kairi planted her hands firmly on the door and swung it open. She saw the boy talking with Demyx. Kairi couldn't believe it...after all the searching Riku and her did in Twilight Town...here he was.

Ironic.

She couldn't hold the excitment in any longer, she ran over to them with a big smile engraved on her face.

"SORA!"

Namine watched as the girl left, and felt something akin on butterflies fluttering in her stomach. While she had a point, wandering around alone in this strange new city wasn't something that Namine had in mind. So, glancing briefly to her two remaining companions she swallowed a little and edged closer to Demyx.

The blond lady didn't seem too friendly, and admittedly, she made Namine nervous.

"Demyx," she whispered to the boy. "If we have to split up, can I stick with you?" She wasn't sure if it would inconvenience him, but right now, that mattered little. He was Roxas' friend, and if that made him good, then that was right by her.

Besides. He was nice. That meant worlds to her.

Sora's attention was immediately diverted when an all-too-familiar voice shouted his name, and he whirled around, the involuntary tension in his features relaxing almost immediately when he saw who it was.

Of course, Sora would know her voice anywhere, but the fact that the redhead was there and evidently unharmed took a certain weight off his shoulders.

Brightening, Sora flashed her a relieved grin as he met her halfway and closed the distance, robin-blue eyes twinkling. It was barely a couple of days that all three of them had been separated, but it seemed like years. Now that Kairi was here, and Riku's whereabouts were known to him, Sora had nothing very much to worry about where his best friends were concerned.

The brown-cloaked person, however, would be a problem.

A hand tightened and then unclenched as a figure slowly roused. Brilliant orange eyes flittered open as the man was brought to consciousness. His hand reached up to bury in his silvery white hair before he sat up and looked around and then straight ahead. A golden fountian glimmered in front of him, portraying two dogs in love.

But mainly it had water. He got up on all fours, the dark jacket that was simply draped over his back shifting off and almost falling off leaving him almost naked before he sat down in front of the fountain. He dipped his head low and drank some of the water, quenching his thrist and soothing his sore throat.

How odd was this. One moment he was floating in a place called Betwix and Between, communicating electronically with people he wasn't even sure existed or not, the next... The next he was sitting here in front of this fountain of two dogs and drinking much like the dogs themselves would to make sure he was safe and not about to die.

The enigmatic man sat up, holding the jacket around his body with trembling hands. "Wh-where am I?" He whispered in a low voice as he looked around. Quiet footsteps rang out from behind him as he turned to look and see two blonds walking through a large door.

This must have been a new record for finding Sora. In their old adventures, they'd meet up at the close of the journey and be seperate by something..somehow, but not this time. They found each other right away. All they had to do was get Riku in Radiant Garden and they would all be reunited.

Kairi decided to save the "Where were you?" questions for later, right now she just wanted to hug him to make sure he was really there.

"I missed you...." she smiled and let go, looking at the group of nobodies. then back at Sora.

"We're going to Radiant Garden, right? We'll forget about the cloaked woman for now?".

Sora had mentioned to her over the internet that he would take them to Radiant Garden with the others and forget about the cloaked woman. Kairi wasn't too sure about it, but then again....that woman couldn't hurt them.

It seemed like the best thing to do.

Returning the hug Kairi bestowed on him with a broad smile, he nodded as she spoke. "I missed you too!"

She pulled away after a few moments, and had asked him if they were going to Radiant Garden and forgetting about the brown-cloaked woman. He shook his head almost apologetically. After speaking to Kairi, there were a few things that had cropped up.

He had found on on the internet that someone named Seifer was in Traverse Town as well, and although he was no risk - considering he wasn't an Organization member, Sora figured that he couldn't just leave him there, could he?

Torn between getting the girls out of there to Radiant Garden and Riku as safely as he could and searching for a person he barely knew, Sora decided that he would have to search for this...Seifer guy and see if he was all right. The brown-cloaked person definitely had no qualms attacking non-Organization members either, as far as he knew, and he wasn't about to take the risk of getting an innocent hurt.

Roxas had mentioned that those brown robed individuals were exceedingly powerful, and even Leon and the others were struggling just to get rid of one of them. Sora was exceedingly confident in his abilities as Keyblade Master, but he was not that stupid to assume that he was invincible, or something. However, he didn't want either one of the girls to follow him to search for Seifer. He couldn't risk either of them getting hurt; Roxas would definitely KILL him if Namine got injured, for one.

And Sora would never forgive himself if Kairi got hurt because he was too cowardly to search for Seifer alone.

"Kairi, you have to get to the Gummi Ship right over there with Namine. Demyx, you can follow them if you want to. I have to look for Seifer."

"I hate vacation."

Seifer kicked at a stone, sending it bouncing wildly down the cobblestone streets. If it hit anyone, he wouldn't have known; he had already turned away and started beating at a wall with his Struggle club. Why the hell did Mom and Dad want to take a trip HERE? Dammit, this place is so dull. The beach would have been a lot more fun.

After smacking the building for a few moments, he grudgingly admitted to himself the padded kiddie weapon wouldn't do any damage and walked away. Damn piece of s**t....Let's see if it works better on some little brats.

He pushed open the massive Second District door and sauntered into the bustling First District. Keeping his club at his side, he took a swing at any kid that looked younger and wimpier than he was. By the time he reached the Accessory Shop, he had already bruised up at least ten "brats" and was eyeing a group of junior high kids trying to act cool in front of the cafe. This is going to be fun...

"SORA!"

Seifer whipped around at the girl's scream. Sora was the name of a guy whom he had reluctantly given up his Struggle Tournament trophy to a few weeks ago, when the spiky-haired keyblader had succeeded in defeating a group of Nobodies that the older teen had lost too. Just the other day, they had met up again on-line. Although Seifer would rather not talk to anyone who had beat him in a fight, the fact the boy was in town and had a way out made him rethink his stance.

He craned his neck, looking for whomever had just screamed. The voice had come from the Third District door, where a group of four were standing. A few steps closer, and he could see just who was there. Sure enough, Sora was standing around with his key-shaped sword, along with a boy a little older than Seifer with perhaps the worst hairdo in all the worlds. Rounding off the quartet were two girls of about fifteen, both of whom seemed to be good friends of Sora.

All right, a way out AND hot girls. This vacation's getting even better. He sneaked up behind his target and whacked Sora on the back of the head with the padded side of his club. "Hey brat, I heard you have a way out of here."

Demyx hadn't really noticed the brown spikey haired boy before his name was called out. Quickly, the musician turned his head and spotted the kid.... what was his name again? He heard Kairi call out a name. Oh yeah! Sora! That was it. Haha, silly him for forgetting.

The keyblade wielder greeted him, Namine, and Kairi before telling the three of them to get on the Gummi Ship. Oh man, he almost wanted to kiss him for getting him out of this place and away from the creepy lady. Except that would be totally awkward. So, instead, he nodded vigorously and headed towards the ship, signaling for the lithe Namine to follow along.

"C'mon, let's go!"

His body barely rememebered to walk, much less get up and hurriedly run towards the group of people. Orange eyes watched as the group of people disappeared through the door. A deep thud came from his chest as something told him that those people were going to be somebody to help him understand what was going on. He stood up weakly, his legs shaking as he looked around. His bare foot took a timid step as he struggled to keep his balance. That balance was lost as he went careening down to the ground, his jacket fluttering off to the side revealing his thin, nude form. He gasped and shivered and went to retrieve his jacket, crawling over only to find himself face to face with a tiny, foot and a half tall shadow creature.

Heartless of the third district!

He let out a pathetic yelp of fear and grabbed his jacket, backing up. He couldn't run, didn't know what the creature was, and couldn't fight against it. Long arms shook as the man crawled backwards before trying to make it to the large wooden doors. He let out another cry of terror as the shadow followed him, though it was more in interest and confusion at his odd actions. He pressed up against the wooden doors before they opened behind him on their own accord. He fell backwards through them, his jacket getting caught as the doors shut. He turned to see the group of people not just a few steps away.

"Oh..." Came a small, wavering whine as he tugged on his jacket, hoping to free it from the door. He was cold for one, and now... They were staring. His body was too weak to fight and get the jacket back from the doors and so he simply knelt before the doors, his head bowed in shame as he tried to pretend like he wasn't there. His tanned hands still clung to the jacket though, still showing that he wanted it back.

Kairi frowned, "What do you mean? You're not coming with us? ....Who's Seifer?" She watched Demyx run over to the gummi ship, signaling Namine to follow, poor Namine. She looked so confused.

Kairi knew that if she took the gummi ship to Radiant Garden, she might lose Sora again. Nuh uh. She just found him, and she already knew where Riku was. She wasn't going to have Sora disappear on her again.

"I'm staying with you! I can fight too!" she pouted and crossed her arms. "You have no confidence in me, Sora! I'm a big girl..I can handle myself." her tantrum was intruppted by some bonking Sora in the head with a padded club.

"...Is that Seifer?" she couldn't help but ask. Hey, if it was Seifer, they could grab him and go to Radiant Garden! No seperation needed.
