Vitae will be going to her first convention on April 16th. She might be cosplaying, if I get off my lazy a** and make her a costume. If not, then she'll just wear the other clothes I've made her so far. 3nodding

Heee! Kazu came to his first convention today! We went to the Alternative Press Expo for a bit and he got his picture taken with Jhonen Vasquez and Tavisha of Tavicat Studios! I'll post the pictures in the gallery a bit later.
Tog: Can... can I take your picture? With.... him? *Holds out Kazu*
JV: o.0;; Scaaary. Sure.
Jhonen played with him for a second, sticking him in different poses.
And Tavisha was all excited about getting her picture taken with him, she even said that she loved dollfies. It made both Kazuya and me so very, very happy.

Kioshi should be here in time for Animazement, and I'm told there's going to be a Dollfie panel... dunno if it's Dollfie or BJD in general. Honestly though if my friend doesn't go to the con I probably won't attend the panel just because I wouldn't want to be there alone. gonk
He won't really be cosplaying but I'm cosplaying L from Death Note so I'm hoping I can use my ghetto non existant sewing skills to give him a white shirt and a pair of jeans... or y'know I could try buying some. *L*

All BJDs will be welcome unless there's some total freak running said panel, so bring him! You won't be going alone if you have Kiyoshi with you!
(The panels are *really* fun. I've been on panel for a dollfie panel once before, and I get to be on panel and sit and look cute for the one at Fanime... As neither Kelly and I have figured out *what* I'll be doing other than that, but she offered me a spot on the panel anyway... yay!)

I've been to one fan panel before and attempted two. At my first Animazement I went to the Yaoi fan panel and it was really cool, very group discussion oriented which was nice. The second year I went we tried to go to that one but they were next to the karaoke and had NO microphones, so we left since we couldn't hear. stare Then last year (or the year before that, sometime around then) I tried going to the Jrock panel but they kept pushing it back so I finally just gave up.

I made a doll body today! I'll post a piccy once the glue dries up!  here it is! Iam adding all the details by carving and filing, so this is just the basic form. Its very small, less than 3" from groin to shoulder! sweatdrop now Iam thinking: why did I post this here? Please dont throw rocks at me!

I'm dressing the girls up for acen! They are going to cosplay as SHinku and Hina Ichigo from Rozen Maiden.
Rozen Maiden (for those who don't know) is an anime about BJDs!
