.....What...happened? Where am I? Wow, my head really hurts...what's going on? I don't remember...wait, what IS the last thing I remember?

I remember getting off the ship. I remember going with the group for a while, but then I got bored, and then...

THAT GUY! The one with the glasses. He offered to take me to the turtle farm I'd heard so much about. Told me he knew someone who could arrange to let me hold some of the baby ones. I was so excited, so I left the group with him and...and he kidnapped me!!! Yes, now I remeber...he took me into the woods a bit, and then there were other men, and I aksed him who they were, and...he hit me! Right over the head! That explains this headache...

So where am I NOW? I can't see a thing. and I'm...gagged?!? How dare he gag me! Ugh, this rag is disgusting...What's that? I hear something. Is someone talking on the phone? Damnit, I don't hardly know any Spanish...I'm getting really worried.

What's going to happen to me now?]

[Some time later]

Ivy wakes up again, groggy, and still with lingering headache and a strange taste in her mouth. Everything feels fuzzy, but there is no longer a rag stuffed in her mouth, her limbs are free, and she feels warm.... soft... in a bed?

As she tentatively opens her eyes, it looks at first like she's in a hotel room. The walls are a neutral off-white, there is bookshelves lining the walls - empty, a wooden desk, an extra chair sitting before it, a minifridge, and then a door leading off to what she can only assume is the bathroom.

However, she's not alone. Sitting beside her bed is a man - his hair is long, and surprisingly shock-white considering that his face doesn't look that old. It's swept back in a messy ponytail, his grey-blue eyes watching you pretty intently. He's dressed in dark clothing - a vest, buttonup shirt beneath it with a tie, and dark slacks.

A smile crosses his face as he sees your eyes open.

"Welcome back, Miss Ferris. You had quite a scare there, I heard. My name is Dr. Duvert, and you're at one of Feral Labs' medical facilities offshore."

[Date unknown, time unknown

....."A doctor?" I hear myself say as I slowly try to sit up in the bed. "Feral Labs...medical facility?" I'm so confused. I try again, my eyes locked on the young yet white-haired doctor.

"How...did I get here?" I ask. BOY, does my head feel woozy, I think to myself. Although some of the pain from earlier seems to have subsided. "And...what happened to that other guy? That kidnapped me?" I feel like falling back asleep...but this doctor is making me nervous. I don't like doctors...]

"Just rest easy" The french accent of the man's voice is soothing. "You were lucky, this time - but don't go wandering off in a strange country again. This time your kidnappers made a mistake, and someone saw something suspicious - reported it to the police. They were caught, and you were taken to our facility to recuperate. Unfortunately they stole your passport. We found your driver's liscence and are making communications with your embassy, but it will take at least a few days to get everything sorted out." He smiled, shifting his position in his seat.

"So until then, you're welcome to wander our facilities. We have a cafeteria within walking distance - it's the big building in the middle of this little 'apartment complex'. You're in duplex 49 for your stay here. The key is sitting on the bedside table." Indeed, he gestured to a table next to the bed with a standard hotel-looking key with a plastic keychain, the number 49 printed on it.

"We've taken the liberties to procure you some toiletries, they're in the bathroom - and a few extra changes of clothes along the lines of what we could tell of your fashion sense." He smiled warmly.

"And of course... we've given you an innoculation - there are some nasty tropical diseases that float around here." Indeed, there was a sore spot on her arm.

[Thank God I was asleep for that, I thought, rubbing the sore spot and remembering my horrible needle-phobia. I looked from Doctor Duvert, to the key, to the sore spot, and back to the doctor.

"So...I can just...wander around? Until someone comes to get me?" Some thing about this didn't seem right. My ever-cautious inner voice was screaming at me, run away! run while you still can! I ignored it, but as much as I like guys with long hair, there was something unnatural about this overly friendly French man.

"You said we were off-shore...where exactly off-shore are we?" I asked him.]

Sabin nodded. "That's right. We're on a private island facility. Feral Labs sponsored. You lucked out with the group that found you. He flashed her a grin.

Sabin didn't care if she bit the line or not, it would keep her quiet most likely until he left. He knew that at this point in time that people generally weren't around for long at all before finding out the truth behind the island.

"We're in the carribbean. The Bermuda triangle, technially." The man said with a laugh in his voice. "I could give you the coordinates, but I don't know what good that would do you." He gave her a bemused grin.

[Oh!!! The Bermuda triangle! I've been reading stories about this area since...well, since I've been reading. "Ah, it figures I'd get lost here." Ok, bad joke, but my head really hurt! Anyways, why's that doctor guy still here?

"Are you gonna be around tomorrow? I think I need to sleep right now." I told him. This whole being-kidnapped-then-hospitalized thing was really very tiring. "Umm, so I guess I'll see you later? Thanks for everything!" I got one last good look at his handsome face (and I must admit, I have this sudden urge to pet him...that hair looked SO silky!) and headed to the bathroom to get ready for bed.]

Sabin smiled again, rising to his feet and gestured to a panel on the wall. "You've got an intercom right there. If you need to get a hold of the doctors, just press 0 to get a hold of one of us."

He walked forward, patted her on the shoulder, and then with a wave, headed out the door. "You're welcomeRest up, and I do hope that you feel better."

[Despite my sleepyness, I smiled at the doctor as he left. I walked to the bathroom door, trying to ignore the multiple bruises that would surely be worse in the morning. Looking out the window, I saw a bright moon on the horizon, over the trees. I must not have been out as long as I thought...It's still today.

"Oh well," I sighed to myself as I crawled into bed. For a hopsital, they had pretty comfy pajamas, I noted. And they even had little duckies on them.

Well, I was glad that the day was over, to say the least. Before I could form another thought, however, I was asleep.]

Meeting Mr. Dragon Person/Welcome to the Island

When I stepped outside, the first thing I noticed was that the sun was setting. Is it really that late already? I guess it's about eight now. Jeesh, I slept in until like two!

I was a little nervous to leave the room, at first, because I had no idea what the place looked like, other than what I could see out my window. I mean, this was a medical facility, right? I don't like hospitals. But when I got outside, it was just a pretty little foresty place, with nice small apartment-y buildings all around. Not bad. I actually wouldn't mind staying in a place like this, you know? Like a time-share, or something. maybe I'll ask Dr. Duvert about that later...

What's that noise? Is someone coming?

Zach stretched his arms up behind his head, yawning. The summer heat was getting to him, and he was torn between basking in the sunlight and retreating to any place with the air conditioning on full blast. The afternoon was the worst, too, the humidity making things even more unbearable. He didn't wear a shirt or shoes any longer. His toes were extremely tough and calloused on the bottom from all the time he'd spent abusing them from extensive walking. His tail, wings, scales, horns, all of his vivid and visible changes, were quite open to being seen, given all he was wearing were pants with the belt looped above the base of his tail.

He stopped at a bench to sit down, his tail curled beside him.

I ducked nervously behind a tree when I heard the footsteps approaching. Who was coming? I didn't want to disturb anyone, and after yesterday's events, I was kind of wary around strangers.

The mystery person came out from behind the trees, yawned and sat down on a bench. It was a man! But not just any man...he looked like he was...a lizard or something! he had horns, and scales, and wings and even a tail! This was shocking. This was terrifying. This was...cool!

"Uh, excuse me, mr. dragon person.." I said shyly from the bushes.

Zach turned at the sound of an unfamiliar voice. Mr. Dragon Person? Now that was a new one. 'What the hell are you!?' or 'Oh my god!' felt more like the standard way to address him. The tip of his tail gave a twitch.

"Er... yeah?" he asked, somewhat bemused. He squinted at the foliage. "Who's over there?"

I stepped out, a little bit embarrsed, but eager to get a better look at him. "My-my name's Ivy Ferris. Um...Dr. Duvert told me I'd be here for a few days until my embassy comes to find me. What are you here for?"

"Ah... hello Ivy. I'm Zach." He stood up slowly, holding out his right hand unsurely as though in a halfhearted offer to shake. Maybe it was just the heat, but the calmness to this whole conversation so far was quite new. He winced visibly at Duvert's name. Whatever shred of moral Zach had suspected the man of after he'd defended Zach had ultimately vanished from sight. The doctor was back to kidnapping more subjects.

"Apparently I'm here to be Dr. Duvert's hand-picked experiment," he gave her an odd, wistful grimace. A thought struck him as her words were re-evaluated in his mind - she didn't sound like she was aware of what was going on around here, and it was doubtful she'd understand what he'd just said. "Oh, no... I'm... I'm not the first islander you've met here, am I?"

I cocked my head, but took the hand that was offered. Meeting a dragon was way cool. "Experiment?" I asked. Then his last question clicked. "Uh, yeah, you are...why? Are there other dragon people here, too?" This island was starting to get a mystical appeal. Why hadn't the kind doctor told her about Zach?

"Yes, experiment... against my will." After breaking off the handshake, he motioned at the bench, a frown tugging at the corners of his mouth. "You should sit, this is going to be a little bit much to take in at one time. In fact, you probably won't believe me for a month. But it's better for you to know than to walk around believing Dr. Duvert's lies till you run into the next person."

He took a breath. "You're not going to be leaving this island. Ever, I think. You're a prisoner as much as the rest of us are. There's tons of people here, definitely over forty by now, and all of us are becoming animals. No one's exempt. By now they've already given you an injection... and you're going to turn into an animal yourself soon enough. I suggest you hope they picked a real animal, and not a predator. You do not want to be one of Dr. Duvert's obsessions. Believe me."

He closed his eyes. "No, I'm the only one... for now, I suppose. There's a winged snake and a komodo dragon, those are about the closest you get to this. So, uh, any questions?"

I gulped and took a deep breath. "S-so...I never get to go home?" Wow. I...this is terrible. But, there are other things bothering me.

"You mean, I'm turning into...an animal? And that doctor did this to me? This isn't what I had in mind when I went on vacation!!!"

He hesitated before giving her the answer. "No... never. And no one's managed to escape yet, either."

"You aren't turning into an animal yet... it sounds like you just got here. Give it about a month and you'll be growing fur, feathers, scales, or frankly an exoskeleton if you're particularly unlucky." He gave her a somewhat sympathetic grin, though it was obviously strained. "Don't feel bad about that. None of us expected... this." He made a wide gesture at the surroundings.

I sighed. "Well, I suppose I'll just have to accept that. I mean, clearly this has been happening to you, and now it's happening to me, too. I guess I should find out what I'm going to turn into. Is there any way to find out before...it happens?" I realised I was trembling. I didn't know if that was from the shock of it all, or the fear that Imight turn into something really bad.

Zach shrugged lightly. "Don't accept it. Just know about it. There may not be a lot of hope... well, there isn't any hope, but maybe you can dredge some up. It's not too late for you. Even if some of us managed to leave... we'd probably just get experimented on by the government and be back to square one. You're still human. If you find a way to get off the island - take it."

"If you're desperate to know, use the intercom in your duplex. But... sometimes it's not worth knowing before it happens." All this initiation was pretty depressing, and the heat was now starting to get just a little too unbearable for his liking. He stretched his wings before folding them back in. "Uh, was nice meeting you, Ivy. I'm really sorry about all of this. If you have any doubts, go ahead ask some of the other 'locals'. Here's... here's hoping you get a mammal at least."

With a slow wave to the newcomer, he departed for his duplex. He needed air conditioning! What had possessed him to sit out in the sun on a day like this?

I was...surprised, to say the least. All in a matter of days, I'd been abducted, woken up on a strange island, and found out I was turning into an animal. "This is too much" I said to myself as Zach left. "Even for me." I decided to head back to my apartment since the day was almost over anyway, and I needed some sleep.

Maybe in the morning I'd try to find a doctor. Prehaps not Mr. Duvert, since he'd already lied to me, but another one. There must be more.

But for tonight, I rest.

An Extremely Paranoid Rabbit

I was wandering aimlessly around the village, weaving my way between duplexes and benches. There wasn't really a whole lot to do, I didn't know where anyone lived, and for that matter I didn't know anyone. I kind of wanted to contact a doctor, see what exactly was going to happen to me. Zach was kind of vague about the details, he didn't seem to comfortable about being my welcome committee. I sttod by a tree, staring blankly at the sky.

Fiona came walking angrilly down the pathway from the general direction of the labs, a piece of paper scrunched in her fist. "Stupid guard, thinks he can scare me," she cursed angrilly under her breath, moving quickly on her strange feet. Taking a sharp turn, the girl came to a halt in front of a stranger, very nearly barrelling into her. "Whoa! Who the hell are you?" She asked, not unkindly. 'An unchanged person...? She must be new.' Self-conciously, Fiona touched the fuzz on her arms.

I stared at the girl. On top of being loud and intimidating, she was like Zach: changed. She had fuzzy fur all over her body, longish teeth and a thin waist. Wierd....but I might as well try to make friends with her.

"Um hi, my name's Ivy." I paused. "I'm new here...obviously."

"Yeah... I'm Fiona." she mumbled impatiently, the newcomer's gaze raking across her changes making the girl uneasy. "New, eh? Take my advice- don't believe anything the scientists say. Every single thing that comes out of their mouths is a lie. You can't trust them." Fiona glanced around paranoidly. "In fact, you can't trust anyone here. There are cameras everywhere, and some of the people here... they're on their side."

Is it just me, or is this girl...kinda paranoid? I thought to myself. Oh well, it's best to get along with people like her. "You mean, some of the..."subjects" here are on the doctors' side? Whou would want to help them?"

"Don't ask me," she muttered, shifting her weight from foot to foot, restlessly. "But I'll tell you this. The only way to stop this insanity to work together. Nobody can deal with this alone. And my best friend in the whole world since I was six is imprisioned in those labs, behind an electric fence and stupid jerks with guns. They won't even like me see her. So don't let anyone convince you that the doctors are doing something good. Don't let anyone convince you that there's nothing worth fighting back for! Because the second you get comfortable, they'll take it all away."

I nodded. "Well, I'm not sure if I'm ready yet to storm the labs, or anything, but if you need anything, let me know." I sighed. How many people here were like Fiona? Is it that horrible? I suppose it depends on your personality, and what you turn into...even I'd get depressed if I turned into, like, a wasp or something.

"Do you think the doctors would tell the truth if I asked them what I am turning into?" I asked Fiona.

She paused, frowning at the question. "I don't know. I never asked, just figured it out myself. I think they'll tell you, though- the sick ******** get some kind of sadistic pleasure out of it, I'll bet." Her upper lip curled in disgust. "What kind of person..." Fiona started to say, angrilly, but glanced at Ivy. "I'm sorry. I must seem insane. I'm just really pissed right now... I'm not normally... it's just... Annie..." the girl sighed and turned her eyes up to the cold, unfeeling structure of the laboratory. "I lost my best friend today... and I don't know if I'll ever see her again." Her tone became soft, sad, and guilty.

I felt so bad to see the raging girl turn to a sad friend that I stepped forward and hugged her, wrapping my arms around her. "I'm really sorry." I said. "And I hope you get your friend back. Is there anything I can do to help you find her?"

At first Fiona became stiff and rigid at the unexpected embrace, a part of her yelling to run, run! But then the girl relaxed and returned the hug, melting into that human comfort she needed so badly at that second. "I... I need to find people... who are willing to try. I don't want a war against the scientists. I just need someone... someone I can trust, someone to plan with and... anyone who can help me figure out how to get in there... I just..." she sniffled, suddenly overwhelmed with emotion. "I just want her... to be okay..." Her grip on Ivy tightened a little. "I hate it here." She had been strong for Angharad... strong for herself. For such a long time. But something had snapped inside of her. Some part of her spirit was broken.

I felt my muscles tighten when her grip strengthened, but I willed them to relax. "There, there." I murmured into her fuzzy, pointed ear. "Everything's gonna be fine. I'm sure she'll be ok! And I'll help you find her. I bet some of the other islanders will help us look, too!

Something suddenly occurred to her. "There are two people... you can't tell. You can't trust them. Their names are Awen, and Lauren. They're the ones I told you about... who've sided with the doctors. Awen is..." she pulled back of the hug, gesticulating and indicating a line from her wrist to her hip. "She's got this weird webbing, under her arm... and these blue things sticking out of her head. She's some kind of... fish. And Lauren has fur all over, and horns, and ugly, point hands and feet. And she eats bugs." Fiona frowned angrilly. "Lauren almost attacked me. She's insane. Stay away from both of them, if you can help if. They're like... spies, or something. And if they hear that I'm going to try to get Annie out, they'll do everything they can to stop me and anyone who helps, I bet."

I nodded, not really beleiving a word the girl said. A fishgirl, spying for the doctors? Yeah. Sure.

"Mmkay, I won't tell them anything. I promise." Smiling at Fiona, I secretly hoped that even though we were all part-animal, or were going to be, that the others were more...normal. Even thought she meant well.

"So, your friend is inside a building somewhere, and the doctors are doing...what?"

"That's the thing, I have no idea what they're doing to her," Fiona muttered, her frown deepening. "The next time I see her, she'll probably be part crocodile, or something. Arrg, why didn't I see this coming!? I can't even protect my best friend!" In a fresh wave of anger Fiona kicked a small rock, despite being in bare feet, across the pathway. "I need to go work out. Maybe I'll see you around... what was your name? Amy?"

"It's Ivy." I replied. "Um...Well it was nice meeting you, and I really hope you find your friend. But I gotta go." I patted her arm, awkwardly, and turned to leave.

A swimmer, like me!

Awen sat in the wet sand on the shore. Closing her eyes she listened to the waves slowly rolling in and back out to the sea. Only a seemingly short while ago Awen had almost drowned herself as her parents had drowned themselves so many years ago.

However all fear of the ocean had passed her. The manta ray serum had certainly done it's job at making Awen at peace with that former phobia. Now, she opened her eyes and watched the water. A strange sense overwhelmed her, the feeling that was but a tingle in the back of her mind at the last stage. The manta ray was insistant. That is where she belonged.

"I know... I know..." She mumbled softly. "But if I go, it will kill me this time."

Still Awen did not wish to leave just yet. She smiled as the water lapped her legs and sighed as it departed.

I walked down to the beach, sketchbook in hand. it was time to find a rockpool and sketch some sealife. I figured I might as well, considering I was living on an island now. Smiling at the prospect of finding some interesting fishes, I started down the sand and was startled to see someone already there!
"Ooh, another islander!" I giggled. I was in a good mood today. I skipped down the beach toward the apparently blue person.

Though it seemed sort of faint Awen could hear a voice somewhere behind her. She glanced over her shoulder to see who it was. The blond hair and bouncing form caught Awen off guard. She started and scuffled away a couple feet. Who was this? Someone new?

Awen frowned and looked at the water. She didn't want that 'oh-em-gee you're a freak!' look she'd gotten from so many people, and that was before her last change. She wanted nothing more than to just jump in the water to hide away from the girl. But if she did that she would die and there was no way she could run for the trees....

the manta kept her arms close to her, to try to hide the webbing. "Uh...hello there!" She smiled awkwardly.

The girl's shyness caught me a little off-guard. Pff, what is she scared of? I wondered. Running and throwing myslef onto the sand next to her, I turned to her and smiled as warmly as I could. "Hi, I'mIvy and I'm new here and your webbing stuff looks really cool and are you some kind of manta ray because I love those." I said in a rush.

Awen blinked and was taken aback. A new islander, and she didn't think Awen was a freak? People like Hargun and Amaya who called Awen pretty...well that was to be expected, they were used to everything. But a perfectly normal human being saying Awen looked cool? She couldn't help but blush and smile a little more sincerely.

"Y-yeah! Manta, exactly. You're good!" Awen laughed a little bit and stretched out her hand to shake. "Name's Awen Zyn."

I shook the extended hand, admiring the smoothness of her skin. "Wow, that's cool! I wanna be a marine biologist someday. That's how I knew you were manta ray" I added. Then with a jolt a part of my brief conversation with Fiona came back to me. "There are two people...you can't trust them. Their names are Awen and Lauren. Awen is...she's some kind of fish." So this is one of the girls who was supposedly helping the doctors, eh? I sized her up. She seemed too friendly to be a bad guy! besides, she was way cute and that Fiona girl was...wierd. "So, can you swim?" I asked.

Awen smiled and shook her hand. The smile turned somewhat sad when the girl mentioned her dream of becoming a marrine biologist. There wasn't much chance of that now that she was on the island... no schools and such. Maybe the labs would give her materials so she could get educated though...? Hm.

When the girl had a jolt, Awen's sad smile turned into a brief frown. but only for a moment until the girl continued speaking. Awen grinned a little bit and nodded. If there was one thing she could do... it was swim.

"Like I was born to it!" Awen beamed, somewhat proud of this unnatural ability. Though she was startled she used that wording. That was exactly as Moreau had promised her when she came to the island for 'therapy'.

She held up a leg to wrigle her foot in the air a bit. "Sadly, it's made walking sort of difficult."

I sighed sympathetically, looking at ther long, webbed feet. "I like to swim too...Hey! can you breathe underwater yet? We should go scuba diving!" Thinking about the comments Fiona had made, I added, "You wouldn't happento know a girl named Fiona, would you? Kinda paranoid, furry? She said she didn't like you, do you have any idea why?"

The girl talked so fast! It was hard for Awen to keep up. "Well yes I ca-- oh no I can't out he--" Then she paused and blinked.

"Fee is now complaining about me to strangers? Oh joy..." She sighed and shook her head slowly. And she's furry? Awen hoped claws weren't involved... Mantas don't have too much in the way of natural defence of claws teeth or tentacles... if Fiona went psycho and attacked....oh boy. "She doesn't like me because I was harsh on her escape the island plans. I was just trying to sober her up to the risks that her wild plans were going to get people into. I am not entirely un-sympathetic. I tried to escape the island once, tried to swim my way out to get help. But I can't breathe in salt water and...well... live. So I almost drowned myself, and I want to prevent any hastey attempts like that again. Fiona has hated me ever since, even though I said I would help her. It only got worse when she through a 'party'" And yes, Awen did the air quotes. "And tried to rally people to her cause. She... went off in a real psycho-activist paranoid kind of way... which would only serve to put people off of the idea when they were just trying to have fun at the party, you know? My friend Lauren, a tall girl with lots of yellow fur and some neat horns, was drunk at the time and was laughing at Fee. The hot head then started threatening Lauren, and I stepped in between to avoid anything physical from happening. Then Fee started chewing me out, you know? Saying I'm useless a sympathiser and everything..."

Awen shook her head slowly. "Fee is just stirring up uneeded hostility. I may be complacent but god damnit... I've been here since... god... since last november. I've tried to escape. I don't think it's possible, but I'm willing to help. Sorry if I don't want to march up to the labs with a bomb, or have other people try to jump the cliffs to escape, you know? I'm trying to be reasonable, rational, about it but she thinks I'm a spy because I try to warn her when a plan will fail!"

The manta felt bad, and knew this was only the half truth. She did do what she said, and she wasn't entirely opposed to escape. But she had told Sabin of Fiona and her plans. She would continue to do so as well, until Fee figured out something that wasn't going to kill, or seriously injur, someone in the process. She just wanted everyone to be safe... On or off the island.

I nodded, only able to take in every other word. "So, she's basically a dangerous nutcase?" I aksed when she had finished, smiling a little.

Awen shook her head slowly. "No... I wouldn't put it that way." She mulled it over trying to find a nice way to say it. "She's just... agressively enthusiastic. A little misguided... but her heart is in the right place."

I nodded. "I get what you mean." I sighed, looking out at the water. "Hey...we should go swimming sometime!" I grinned, wanting badly to swim with a fish-person.

"Ah sure!" Awen grinned and nodded. "I like swimming with people, but often i'm just alone." She shook her head and looked out at the water. "Mostly because people swim out here by the beach, and I'm stuck in the lake and river, you know? No surfing or scuba diving..." All the things she had been looking forward to trying before her...incident.

"Oh, freshwater only, huh?" I chuckled a bit, but then I noticed a sad look on her face. "Hey...it doesn't matter to me where we swim. Lakes, oceans...what's the difference, you know?"

"Well... I used to love the ocean when I was a kid...but then I stopped liking it when my parents drowned. I had hydrophobia for a long time... And with the whole changing into a fish thing I got over my fear, but I can't go swimming in it, surfing or see any of the cool tropical fish and coral and stuff from around here."

She shook her head and stood up, brushing the sand off of her. "Besides, you know, the manta wants a wider space to swim, spread it's wings -as it were."

I stood up next to her, shaking myself to get the sand off. What a tragic story! Brushing off my socks, I said "Aww, I'm so sorry! Well, we'll stickto the lake and river then." Then I looped my arm awkwardly through her webbed one. "Let's be friends!!"

Awen blinked and looked down at the arm looped around her webbing. She gave a small grin and nodded. This girl...certainly had a good energy about her, and made Awen feel a lot better about herself.

"Of course! It's always good to make new friends on this place. too much drama and hurt feelings!" Speaking of which... it reminded Awen to try Sabin's comm again.

"But hey... I think I'm going to head back to my duplex for a bit okay? Have to hydrate my skin again, and err.. read some of my new book."

The manta unlooped her arm and stepped forward, giving the girl a hug. "Nice meeting you Ivy!"

I smiled and returned the hug happily. "OK! Nice meeting you too." I gave her one last huggle, then settled down to sketch some stuff. I was glad I'd made a friend.
