"Well... Just be real quiet and go for the throat or spin of the small rabbit. It'll almost instantly die." Of course Ger's jaw's weren't as big as Dafina's so it proably wasn't the case. "i'll follow you kid, and if you run into trouble i'll be here to help."

Ger stalked quietly through the grass, openly aware of where each of his paws were placed. One by one...by one by one, the paws made no sound but silence as he made his way through the grass slowly. Only a yard away was the rabbit just sitting there, staring into nothing.
Ger was only a foot away and very well concealed in the tall grass. His teal eyes narrowed and his lips parted into a grin.
"Hah!" Ger lunged out and planted all his feline claws into the rabbit's hid, teeth imbedded into it's neck. Ger twisted his head to and fro attempting to break it's neck. However, his teeth could not do that much damage to the prey. Instead, Ger withdrew his maw and planted it back a series of times.
Finally, the rabbit stopped struggling and laid limp against him. Putting the little mammal down, Ger noticed something.
What do you know, I am bigger than a rabbit. he smiled down at the life he has just taken.

Dafina lurched foreward to keep up with Ger.
After the excitement of getting the rabbit, dafina look down upon ger. "You know..." he said "That's an abnormally small rabbit you got yourself there... IT's just a baby" Dafina knew perfectly well it wasn't a baby. But he wanted to irritate ger. "You did good though Kid"

Ger frowned a little. He didn't want to show that Dafina detested taking the life of another, he was a hunter, a higher link in the food chain.
"That rabbit wasn't that small. I think it was an adult. It could not have been a baby!" he shouted.
Well, at least the tall creature praised him.

Dafina pushed against him in a loving teasing kinda way And motioned for ger to come along and bring the rabbit. "You see little rat of a lion, The thing is, You're just a itsy bitsy lion, And you shouldn't be hanging out with a dog like me. It'd be a cring shame if one day you had to eat me, or I had to eat you, Ya know? Eating friends just isn't right." he growled a little bit and cried as he tried to put his foot down lightly.

Ger stumbled back as the taller, stronger, and much older dog pushed against him. "Omf" Ger picked up the rabbit carcass and followed.
Dafina spoke and the Pride Rock cub listened. They were friends? Ger wouldn't want to kill Dafina nor would he want to be eaten by him either.
Ger dropped the rabbit, "Daf, you should rest, y'know? That leg is really bad." he thought for a moment, he wasn't hungry and the wild dog needed the strength.
He rolled the dead rabbit over to the dog and stepped back.

Dafina rolled the rabbit back. "You should head home little lion" He seemed to warm up to Ger a little. "Besides I've gotta get going the other direction. I really do"
Dafina turned around and picked up a quick trot to get away from this lion. He should try to make more of a friend out of this lion if ever he should need a large lions help...

"Alright, Mach, see you some other time then." but by then, the Wild Dog was already gone. Ger smiled, maybe this Wild Dog can be a good friend. The little cub lifted the limp rabbit and started back to Pride Rock.
On the brighter side, he can show everyone that he caught something.
