umm i would have to say gaara cuz instead of a brother or some one killing off ppl gaaras the one who killed his mom at birth then his dad sent assassins to kill him off hes tryed to kill himself but his sand protects him thats kinda a sad story i mean its bad if ur bros the one taht killed every one but if ur the one who did thats gotta be even worse. 3nodding

my oppinion its garra yeah haveing your family killed by your older brother is bad and naruto was disowned and hated by everone but haveing everyone hate you and your dad wants you dead with no way to ease the pain well that just plain sucks....

Sasuke, altough he witnesses the death of his parents by the man he idolized he still lived the life of a prince. All the clans accounts to do with as he pleased, an entire district of land, everyone en the village praising him, and about a million fan girls all wanting to have his children.
Naruto and Garra are a bit of a toss up because they are very alike. They both have demons in them, they both are hated and feared by their respective villages, and they both have live fairly isolated lives.
Garra's life is worse however because for six years of his life his village leader and father tried to have him killed. That's much more tramatizing. "

Well, all of their pasts weren't great... but I would have to say Sasuke's since... well, every single member of his family (maritial or blood) was murdered, except for his (already quite mean, but still idolized) older brother, who just so happened to kill all of them... not to mention he was 7... and then Itachi-san did the thing with the Mangekyou Sharingan and made him watch all the murders occur, and then he thought he was going to die (I don't blame him) but then Itachi said that he wasn't worth killing.... in some ways, that made it worse of Sasuke (I would have been happy with it, but whatever) since he always looked up to his brother and tried really hard to become like him, and then he said that he wasn't worth the time of day (not to mention after killing a bunch of old people).
With the other two, it was more of a long-term thing, and they both were a bit more used to the treatment (Gaara less then Naruto, but still), but with Sasuke, he had a perfectly normal life until he comes home from school one day and everybody he loves is dead except for the one he loved most who killed them all. I think it is more traumatizing to have it all happen at once rather then to just grow up with stuff.

I'd have to say that Gaara has had a worse past than Naruto. At least Sasuke had known that his parent and everyone loved him when they died. Naruto would have had a past as bad as Gaara if he never found his precious people. Sure people say that it's even worse to have your own brother kill his family and clan, but it would feel even worse if the only person you ever cared for betrayed you. That's got to feel worse, right?

They all have very sad pasts. One can't simply put them on a scale and compare. Well, atleast I can't. It's like saying the three of them both stepped on a thumbtack with thier foot and asking, "Which one got hurt more?". They were all effected, but you can't put saddness on a scale and judge.

i'd have to say Gaara. sasuke got to experience love and affection from his family before they died and STILL recieved it from people after the death of his clan...Gaara never got to experience that...he was hated and feared and treated as an experiment until he was 6, then his own father started trying to kill him, then the only person he thought loved him turned around and stabbed him in the back!!!(figuratively) Naruto on the other hand tried to make the best of his situation and act as tho nothing was wrong even tho he was crying on the inside a lot...then he met people who care for him. Naruto was saved from a lot of what Gaara faced(emotionally speaking). Sasuke wouldn't even see the people trying to save him from the fate of an avenger. Gaara was never even given the chance for anything Sasuke experienced.

All three had a horrible past. But Naruto at least had Iruka to acknowledge him and Sasuke had like 3rd Hokage. No one accepted Gaara.

I would say Gaara had the worst past because he never experienced love. Sasuke grew up as a happy kid with his family until Itachi killed everyone, and Naruto had Iruka, who acknowledged him.
