Jacen jumped slightly at her reaction, "S-sorry! I was just trying to help! I figured you could put the book back.." He lowered her back, waited for a second, then removed his his hand. Afterwards he took a couple steps back.
"Just trying to help... Didn't think you hated me so much." He tilted his head slightly. "I guess we can find you a ladder though, if you're so quick to refuse help..."

Upon the girls shreiking, Pitch started to laugh and lowered her volume a bit. Pitch just kept on laughing as shse started to fall. "Oh my...This'll be an interesting school ye-...Hello!" Pitch's attnetion was distracted as a new face walked into the library. His ears perked as he heard her music and started to float towards her. Then BHAM! Her music got really loud and he had become, blue and green and god knows what other colours. He was very disgruntled for a moment, and fell into a seat beside her. "Wooooh..." He siad shaking his head. He focused again and looked at her. Pulling off his earphones "I thought I was the only one that could do that..." he said as the music from his headphones became as loud as a sterio system. It went back to its normal volume and Pitch put the headphones back on and outreached his hand. "I'm Pitch." He grinned.

Perhaps her reaction wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't had to touch her first. That was the one thing that set her off, really. And if Jacen didn't catch onto it then, he would soon.
"Don't ever touch me again," Venom hissed once her feet were safely on solid ground. After a few moments of her own silence she added softly, "Please."
In all honesty, Venom wouldn't have even noticed the girl entering if it hadn't been for her changing.. colors. That was something new, too. New, weird, and it didn't help her mood any. In one swift motion she swapped the book in her arms for the one she had been carrying before the 'disaster'.
"And I'm leaving," she huffed after Pitch introduced himself, shoving past the three other people and heading to the lounge.

Alex muttered incoherently under his breath, picked the pillow up from beside him, and set it over his face again. Books burying people, girls screaming and floating around, guys bothering said girls, a new girl comming in and spazzing, causing everything to change colors... oh today was goign to be one of THOSE days, wasn't it?
He mumbled and tried to doze off, hoping nobody else would cause any more disturbances. Where were the people that worked here, anyway? Shouldn't there be a librarian around to keep people quiet in the library?

Jacen stumbled a bit at all the strange events that took place, looking around quickly. Then he saw the new girl, the strange look on her face, he shook his head. He would have moved to introduce himelf, but right now he was more interested in Venom. So he followed here, sped up, then turned around and walked backwards infront of her.
"Hey hey hey, I'm sorry if I startled you, like I said, I was just trying to help. To this place, my name's Grav. You aren't leaving on accont of us are you? I.. Err... We? We weren't trying to make you feel uncomfortable, it's just been a slow day."
Thump.
He erfed and closed his eyes, having walked right into a bookcase, a book having falling square on his head. He opened his mouth to speak, but slowly closed it, grinning slightly. "Pretty." He mumbled, sliding down against the book case till he was sitting on the floor... That hit had knocked the sense out of him.

John laughed a bit more as Venom had pushed her way out and shook his head. "S'pleasure to met you Mikey." He said and bowed his head. He couldn't help but laught again. "Freaks like us?" First impressions were important, and for Pitch, she was on the right track, and speeding along it. "Me? Well. A while back, all I could do was Manipulate sound. But now, I am self proclaimed Master Of Sound." He said. "Anything related to sound." He said, but in Mikey's exact voice. "I can do. Even more." He said and floated in his chair a bit, emitting a quiet, High Pitch Humming. "Aslo, I'm sure you noticed..." He pointed to the blindfold around his eyes. "I can use sonar." He put his face in his hands and leaned forward 'looking' into her eyes. "Now, I showed you mine. Show me yours?" He grinned.

As much as she hated to admit it, the thought actually crossed Venom's mind to spit on him. Although, she would never actually do so; it was just her current bad mood spawning the idea of it.
"So you think that tormenting me is a good way to quicken the pace of--"
Thump.
Venom had to wince at that, snickering lightly. The small laughter was probably the first positive reaction out of her since her own tumble.
However, she wasn't exactly sure what his 'pretty' comment was directed at, which made her rather uncomfortable. Still, Venom managed to kneel down beside him, pushing her bangs behind her ear.
"Are... are you all right?" she inquired between a few stray giggles.

Jacen stared off into space for a little while, until she spoke the last time. He shook his head, blinking a few times and groaning. "Ow..." He reached up to rub at his head, frowning slightly. "Books don't like me much, I see." He moved one of his hands down to touch the book that had hit him. A grin crossed his lips.
When he pulled his hand away, the book seemed to rocket to the ceiling, hitting it with a thud and staying there. "Mmm, new ground." I'm okay, just got a bit of smarts added to my collection." He laughed weakly. "The name's Grav, nice to meet you."

John just 'stared' at her for a bit. fighting back his urge to say "I'm into feeling funny." Dirty jokes whern't awalys the best things to start off with when it came to girls. This knowledge came from experience. His attention was quickly taken as he watched the bird take form from a book and fly through him. He stared at his lap for a moment, mouth hanging open. "Ok...That....That right there. That was Kind of freaky." He patted his lap to make sure everything was...There and unaltered. He looked back up to her. "That's pretty amazing. Like, scale of 1 to 10, that'd be like. Holy Crap." He said with a grin, just looking at her with his blindfold. Thank god for Sonar, he could see all over at once without scannign up and down! Maybe it was a mistake of the professors to teach him Sonar....

"Venom."
Juli offered the meekest of smiles for his grin, glancing up at the book he placed on the ceiling, offering a small laugh.
Then she went silent.
Conversation really wasn't a strong trait of hers, at all. Likely it was bluntly obvious, too. Or at least, she thought so. And when things seemed obvious to herself, nerves kicked in.
Color decided to resurface in Venom's cheeks, causing her to glance off to the side. With a small sigh she shifted, sitting near him. It could hardly be considered sitting 'next to', seeing as she was a good foot or two away.

Jacen smiled slightly, "Nice to meet you, Venom.... Cute..." He added in that last part quietly. He moved a bit, pushed himself to his feet, then stood. If it wasn't for her thing about being touched, he would have helped her up. Instead, he just offered his hand to her, "A bit of help up?"
"Funny, a name like venom wouldn't make me think of you..." My my, was that a compliment?
