While Trei may not be the most technical, precise, or classically trained fighter out there, he isn't stupid. And he's not blind, either...The beauty of performing a spring move is that one's body tends to follow through. Even as his opponent deflects Trei's legs in an attempt to perform a grapple, Trei's upper body rises off the ground, and he uses force from his stomach muscles in addition to the reverse pressure provided by his opponent to whip his upper body and his fist forward in a direct punch towards his opponent's nose, while the deflected left leg hits the ground to provide a post, sliding back to push Trei into his opponent...

The grabbing upon the leg connects, and since this occurs during the mule kick Ryu suddenly pivots swinging towards the left which happens to have for the fist coming towards his nose to brush off of him while Ryu then releases quickly with the momentum that Trei has created.
During the motion, Ryu uses his right hand to touch the tip of his nose then sighs a bit while awaiting for his opponent to land.

Trei gets thrown back a ways, but since his body was already in the process of righting itself he manages to land on his feet and skid to a stop a short distance away. It seemed that this guy was gonna require a bit more than parlor tricks...
Again, Trei darts in towards his opponent, remaining low while bringing his right hand out at an angle and keeping his left hand close to his chin...as he reaches striking distance, the right hand hooks out in an arc for his opponent's chest, using the added momentum from his run to give the blow additional force...

Ryu looks to his opponent then yawns softly while his left arm curls against his chest awaiting his opponent but yet his body felt flemsy capable of quick movement when ready.
Trei is coming towards Ryu, as Ryu is just standing there barely acknowledging any movement. Once Trei reaches that striking distance, Ryu's right leg acts as a reflexing state of defense striking upwards directly towards the mid-section of the opponent. As he recalls, a leg is longer than a arm. The additional force to Trei's punch has for additional force for Ryu's straight kick which will have for Trei to lose breath fairly quickly.

Trei's eye flashes as he nears his opponent, and as his opponent springs into action, so too does our hero. Even as his opponent's leg whips up, Trei's left arm whips forward and down, parrying the kick and bringing Trei and his fist in to his opponent, who now stands on a single leg as his post.

As the right leg flows forward to the opponent getting parried from the intended attack Ryu turns towards the direction the left arm of the opponent making him turn towards the right now.
Trei's fists will be going towards Ryu are suddenly stopped by Ryu's own arms that straight forward and straight to stop the battle all together, "Well, this should end for now. There are other matters I must tend to."
Suddenly, oceanic flames ignite surrounding Ryu in an aura then disappated his entire being into the ground. The earth quakes in his absence slightly.

Trei blinks as the man vanishes, spitting a curse before straightening himself up. Figures...The guy had been good, and it would've been a great match to try and up his skills. So, of course his opponent had to run off...
With a sigh, Trei returns to his place on the wall, idly waiting for his turn to come...

It seems as if Rovell was being struck with a series of unluckiness... Having entered the tournament, he has yet to find his opponent he was scheduled to fight. True, there were unseen "forces" that may have prevented the two from fighting, but perhaps that would end soon. Untill then, Rovell needed to expell some of his pent-up energy. He needed a person to fight... Nothing serious, just a small skirmish would do.... He began to walk the halls of the colloseum to find someone that would entertain him for a while... "I wonder if anyone's available at this time...?"

People seemed to be wandering around aimlessly alot right now...prolly 'cause alot of the competitors had yet to show up, so alot of people had nothing better to do...
Trei, of course, was in no position to muse on the matter. After all, he was still sitting around, waiting for some sign that his match was about to begin...

Browsing through the hallways, Rovell found a young man sitting alone in one of the waiting areas. He looked strong, and hoped that the man could amuse him with a sparing match of sorts. He approached him. "Excuse me, sir? I know we aren't scheduled to fight, not yet at least, but I was wondering would you mind sparing with me to pass the time? I seem to be constantly missing my opponent, and I wish to get some of this pent-up energy out of me... What do you say?" He hoped the answer was going to be a positive one...

Trei looks down towards the newcomer from his place on the arena wall, and flashes a quick grin.
"Heh...Why not..." With that, he pushes off the wall, landing with a small thud amidst a cloud of sand. "Hand to hand? Or shall we play all out..."

He smiled that the answer was a positive one. "It matters not to me... Use whatever you have, my friend. If the situation calls for a weapon or spell, then you are free to use it..." Rovell nods over in the direction just outside the arena. The area is a small clearing in the forest located outside. They shouldn't casue too much damage out there... Hopping out the closest window, Rovell sprinted towards the area he designated for their little bout, and waited for his temporary opponent.

Trei watches his opponent scurry away before looking around...Why not just fight in the actual arena? The spell kept them from getting drawn into other fights...
No matter...Untying his blade from its place across his back, Trei ambles out in the same direction of his new challenge. As he does, his aura sworls into life, a soft golden light that seemed to burn like fire. The guy had offered him an open round...So, Trei intended to have fun.
It is only a matter of moments before he catches up to the man. "Well, then...you got your locale. Let's get rollin'." Vit-20 Qi-5 Charge- /

Since this was an "open match" Rovell didn't want the arena's comittee to call it an official match, and therefore restrict them to any rules and regulations to hinder their abilities. Seeing as the man had drawn his weapon, Rovell smiled and confirmed it will indeed be a weapons match. Removing the necklace from arround his neck, he grasped it with both of his hands, and the pendant transformed into twin blades (one in each hand.) As his opponent approached, Rovell decided to test his abilities from afar. Swinging one of his blades, he shouts at the same time, " Ventus Mucro!" and the blade emitted a swift wind blade that raced towards his opponent.
