Shiri smiled softly as the male looked up, glad to see he was showing some sort of bravery and trust. Although the two lions had not known one another for very long, Shiri could not help but feel a strong connection with this male. His shy and awkward behavior seemed so much like her own and sadly, she knew it would take far more than her words to coax him.
The young lioness had understood what he had said, but remained silent. Mistweavers, she thought quietly to herself. The name had sounded familiar, but Shiri knew little to nothing of this pride. Without even the slightest understanding of where they could be, she sighed, "I'm afraid I don't know where they are either... is your dad still there?" she asked slightly curious. Shiri hoped Liza's father would be nothing like his mother if he was still there. If he wasn't, the young lioness was confused as to why Liza, as an adult, would have to go there.

"N..n..no..mu.mu.mmy fuhfather d..d..died when I wwas smsmsmall" he stuttered watching shiri with eyes like dishplates. "M..m..My mu..mother t..t..told me I hhhad to g..g..go" Perhaps it was irrational that the fully grown male should fear his mother even from beyond the grave, but he was thoroughly under her thumb for most of his born days, he didn't know any other way of life.
His ears flattened slightly as he looked away in toi the distance what fate beheld him when he did get to this mistweavers lands? "M..m..Maybe you..n..n..know who muh..muh..might gggive me dir..dir..directions?" he looked at Shiri perhaps he even relaxed a little though asking an open question without permission was usually punishable. She hadn't hit him yet so maybe it was alright? Maybe she wasn't going to tell him what to do as he would have to by default follow her orders, she was a female after all, perhaps she would know somone who could inform him wheer his fathes home was? Maybe.

Shiri understood how the male could feel having not known his father for a great deal of his life. Like Liza, Shiri had not known her father either, but unlike her new companion, she did not ever get to know her mother either. No recollections of either parents was in the young lioness' mind. Faint whispers often haunted her at night, but more often than not the words were not understandable and just left the femme in distress.
When Liza had asked the question, Shiri only looked back towards the pridelands with a faint hope. "I do not know if they will know for sure, but I know of an adult pridelander that was once a rogue.. I feel rogues have usually wandered the land far and wide and he may possibly know of the mistweaver's pride.." Quietly, she added towards the end of her suggestion, "If you go.. I will not follow you... But please do not allow that to make your decision. I would like you to do whatever you feel would be best for you.." She released a short sigh. The sun was slowly setting and she needed to find a place to rest. Night was never safe for cubs on their own.

Looking back behind him, the pale male frowned. "I..I..If i g..g..go bbback th..there..I m..m..might not cccome out" He stuttered his ears flattening against his sleek black mane, despite what the female was informing him, he was still convinced if he walked in to a pride he would be taken captive and he could not possibly dissobay a female it was a cardinal sin to do so.
"Th..the last..l..l..lion I m..m..met said to wwwalk straight ahead" He looked down at the little female tilting his head in a curious manner "M..M..Maybe I cccan re..re..rest wi..wi..with you t..t..tonight miss.sh..sh..shiri" Perhaps the male senced she was frightened of the darkness or perhaps as was the more likely of the two, he was offering his services to the female, as he should after all. He was their servant that was his duety.

Although Shiri sensed there was nothing to worry about in the company of this male, she was still uneasy about resting that night in his company. With a faint smile, she nodded to his offer. The fact that this male was so willing to keep her company was slightly comforting and she would accept it, dispite the uneasiness at the pit of her stomach. Looking away from the male now, as if searching for a place to rest, she spotted a small tree with all of it's leaves fallen, scattered below it, on the ground. "That should prove to be a good resting place for tonight..." Her voice was soft as if she was still contemplating the situation.
Stepping forward and towards the tree, she small lioness only turned back when she was nearly there, "By the morning, you must go back to the pridelands and ask for directions to the mistweavers pride... Although I cannot go with you.. I would not be surprised if we met again.." She tried to smile, though she knew she was purposely giving an order with the hopes that Liza would obey. Shiri understood that she was just a cub and that she would only make the male's trip more difficult. Liza needed someone stronger and wiser than she.

Liza nodded, it was an order it seemed. His ears flattened as he lay down under the tree "Yess Miss Shiri" he whisperd his voice a rough muur. Perhaps there was a little voice of dissapointment in his sweet voice that he would be travelling alone. What would happen if he never made it to the mistweavers? He didn't want to go in to the pridelands, but at the same time could he dissobay the little female? His mother had told him to go to the mistweavers, was it too much of a detaur to go back to the pridelands?
He was very confused. Laying his head on his claws he closed his deep orange eyes. He would decide int he morning, she had told him to go to the pridelands though..Could he truely dissobay a female?

Shiri looked to Liza and was suprised to see that he did not stutter too much in his response. It pleased her to notice that he was showing more comfort with her, but she silently feared it was more of a respect because she was a female. With a quiet sigh, she took her place beside him and offered him another comforting nuzzle, "Don't worry Liza.. it won't be so bad on your own.." Her voice was gentle as she spoke and she held no tone of anger of disrespect towards him, "Everyone at the pridelands seem very nice and they will surely give you directions.. Just ask for Kazi when you get there.." She offered comfort in how nice those at the pridelands were when she silently feared going there herself. Feeling somewhat hypocritical, she couldn't help but sigh again. If Liza made his way there and met up with Kazi, things should go fine.
Deciding it was best to leave the topic as it was, she quietly leaned up against his large form and shut her lime green eyes. The sky was becoming even colder and though they had the shelter of the tree for safety, it was Liza's form that truly comforted the small lioness. With a faint smile and quiet words, Shiri offered a 'goodnight' to the male. "It was a pleasure meeting you, Liza.."

Liza wasn't long in falling asleep. he was tired thoughhis ears were twitching for quie a while before he was completely still. he didn't move all night though when he awoke the next morning, Shiri was gone.
Following her orders he stood and headed back the way he had come, he certainly felt like he wa going aroundin circles but he could not dissobay a female no matter what. Pride rock loomed int he morning light and he sighed. Would he ever get to the mistweavers lands?
