I am of the opinion that the mustard packet that's included should be replaced with a handwritten apology from the manufacturer. That stuff is -satan.-

Four questions: Why are there "airholes" in the side of the packet? Does it need to breathe?!
Why is there an expiration date? What do they think will happen on that date that hasn't already happened?!
Those holes must allow ventilation so the package doesn't blow up, sounds like something I want in my belly! sweatdrop

Well, you have to put holes in the lid of a styrofoam cup of ramen, so... But then, how many people gather their courage to poke at ramen for the first time?

My only experience with natto is seeing it on TV. I was in Japan a few years ago, and to kill time before dinner, I was watching TV with some classmates (it was a student exchange trip) and they were having some sort of competition to see how high you can lift natto out of a bowl keeping a strand of sticky stuff conneted to the natto in the bowl and the natto in the chopsticks. Eventually they brought in forklifts or something and managed to lift it 30 meters. It was weird.

I think I saw that!! It was in "「トリビアの泉」(Toribia no Izumi) right?

I like to eat my nattou on rice with chopped leeks (ネギ; negi) or perillas (しそ; shiso). Mmm.
