Xumbra Sorry, I got into a bit of a rant there. Leiko, I think that the people that called you did so afterschool, thinking that you had an open window for calling. Afterschool?
We were in 3rd period and since my friend and I have classes where we don't do anything except about once a week in there, so the teacher lets us go to ROTC.

Our teachers aren't lenient with us. We're just stupid AP kids.

Eh? If you have IBs, then you could easily transfer over to universities in foreign countries.

Yah. But the school I moved to doesn't have AP or IB.

Do I have one? Hm... and I have no idea where the closest IB or AP offering school district is.. I can take college classes starting my junior year, though.

Everyone has a counselor. If you don't...then your school is pretty messed up.

Yeah, I guess I do have one.. never mind. My mom keeps telling me that taking college classes is better than AP... but those cost money. gonk I shouldn't have to pay to learn before I even graduate....

Um. If you want them to count as college credit...well actually, I'm not sure.
But I can tell you that some colleges will count APs for college credit, and thereby reducing the number of years it takes you to graduate.

Apparently I can take a bus to the community college and take actual college classes before I graduate. *shrugs* I'm not positive, though.

Oh man. You know what would make a great college essay? Write about how your school didn't have any AP/IB programs and because of that, you had to take classes at a community college to get ahead.

I think that might make my teachers mad. They'd feel like they weren't good enough for me or something.

No, this would be your personal statement, that one essay you can use 600 words on for college admittance. You can ask your teachers to proofread your personal statement, but you don't have to.
Actually, you can try to ask your counselor to proofread these kinds of things. I've never considered that before.

Personal statement? That sounds like a witness statement... which reminds me of criminal activities.... meep.
