Nato smirked nodding as she spoke. "Good...now...where was I?" he questioned and returned to kissing her wanting to feel the same as he had upon the first time they'd gotten together. He couldn't help but push her back to the ground the scent of roses strong in the air. Of course he would sneak a hand under her shirt to fondle her. And of course he n** and bite at her neck and shoulders only to return to a fiery kiss that had a lot to offer.
Eventually he would come up for air laying his head in the crock of her neck. "Mmm...I've missed your touch Juvel. Why do you avoid me?" he asked the list not an option at this point." He kissed her hand softly brushing against his cheek as he waited for an answer, still laid out on the ground.

Obie smiled slightly as he pulled her back into another long kiss. She lost herself to his lips and vaguely felt him lie her on her back. The feel of his hand on her bare skin drove her crazy and she sighed softly as she slipped her hands up into his hair and he nibbled on her neck and shoulder. When he returned his lips to hers she returned the kiss with as much fire as he gave. When he pulled his lips away again, she felt flushed and lightheaded. She was having trouble focusing on what he was saying.
"I've missed your touch as well Nato. But I avoid you because I'm scared," she said softly, finally clearing the lustfilled haze in her mind to think of a proper answer.

"Hmm?" he nibbled on her ear as he listened to this. "Why do you fear me?" he questioned that was rather peculiar. "I hope I haven't done anything to alarm you thusly." he said with genuine concern. He sat up bringing her with him as he caressed her hair and kissed her forehead, in wait of a proper answer that would clear his confussion.

"It's not you," she said softly, slipping her arms around him and resting her head on his chest. "It's me that I'm afraid of. I know I should be smarter about this... I know you like your freedom. I know you sleep with other people and don't attatch emotions to the people you are with. But... I can't help the way that I'm beginning to feel for you. That's what scares me," she said softly, muffled against his chest.

He stiffened slightly still holding her close. Squinting his eyes he remained hidden behind her hair as he nuzzled her. "Juvel, I do attatch emotions to the people I'm with..." he said softly. "I would not call you my jewel if I had no feelings. I would not be here now holding you if I didn't feel something. However, I am...at a loss. I'm not meant for...people don't grow attatched to a person like me." he said not sure of what he was saying.
"You will never find love, Thanatos...people like you aren't meant to be loved." he shook his head of those thoughts, so long ago. That blasted girl had suceeded in cursing him. For as long as he could remember he never gave or expected anyone's affections. He nuzzled Obie again squeezing her tight. "I do not wish to know how you feel...I think perhaps you should wait until you are certain. There may be another for you...I'm not worthy..." he went silent after that not wanting to give away too much. Instead he busined his wayward lips with a sensual kiss that was meant to hide something deep within his heart.

Obie felt him tense and listened to him speak. She kissed him back, but slowly pulled away to look into his blank green eyes. She brushed some of his silver hair out of his face and caressed his cheek softly.
"Well... you can keep telling yourself that if you'd like. If that's really the way you feel. But just ask yourself this... why am I sitting here right now? Why... when even you have accused me of being cold," she said softly, wishing that he could see the honesty in her eyes.

He sighed it was all too confusing.. "I don't know...why are you here?" he asked still holding her tight. "I want to believe cause we are friends...a foreign word to me no less." He confessed. No he hadn't had many friends and to even say so was to be doomed. "Juvel? I...want you. I want to feel you but I do not wish to tarnish you."

Obie blinked at his answer. Friends? That was all he felt for her? Inwardly she berated herself. Of course that was all. What had she expected? Maybe that he felt more for her? But that would have just been silly, she realized. Why would he want her when he could have anyone he wanted.
"I'm right here. You have me in your arms," she replied, purposely misunderstanding him. Why did this hurt so much, she wondered.

He frowned at her words, they did not make sense to him. "Why do you say these things? I..." he was really trying to think, trying to decipher what it is she expected. Lord only knew he had no clue he was just that dense...or he'd never really had anyone who wanted him, more than just the sex alone...but him.
A light went on in his head as he tensed again. He slowly removed himself from her stepping back a bit. A confused crease in his brow. "You...do you..." he didn't know what he wanted to say and so turned both in confussion and embarassment. It was strange for one who had a lot to say and being so articulate being brought to his knees in speech.
"I do not understand what you want from me Juvel. I really wish to know but..." he paused did she really see him in a different light? Impossible no one thought of him more than just a playboy...someone to relieve their stresses on. Juvel had said so herself, she had used him to aleviate her long years without physical pleasure. He stood ridget his whole body fighting against what he hoped for and what he wanted.

Obie looked up at him in confusion as he pulled away from her. He seemed... confused as well, she realized.
"But you are afraid as well," she finished for him. "My wants from you have not changed. I want you to know me. I want you... to be with me. I want... you. But I want only you. I don't want to share you," she said softly, trembling as she feared his rejection. She had never left herself so exposed before.

He had his back to her. Eyes closed tightly hands fisted at his side, he shook his head violently. This isn't happening...he wasn't suppose to have anyone. He just used them and move on without them.
He finally turned to face her his eyes still closed what little it would do even if he opened them. "I cannot..." he said softly. "I cannot...I know that I would cheat on you. Its in my blood, I'm too shelfish I'd hurt you." So this was it, he would push her away and then continue on his road to distruction.
"You were never meant to be loved...people like you cannot be loved.
He growled at that...why the hell not? Why couldn't he at least try. His anger showed in his face as he opened blank eyes, almost willing himself to look at Obsidian he closed the space between them and answered her in the only way he knew how. A deep thorough kiss that would rock her to her very core. Yes! His mind screamed, I want this ... I can do it! I can find what I want...with her... "My jewel.." he finally breathed against her lips as he came up for air. "I want to...I want to try but I cannot promise that I'll be good to you. I'll try...I can try." he said again and brought their lips together for another kiss.

Obie had taken a step back at his initial words. She had opened herself up to this, she realized. She had allowed herself to get too close and now it was going to blow up in her face. She looked away from him, the pain in her heart too great as she took a deep breath. But then she was suddenly swept into his arms and he was kissing her as if his life depended on it. She slipped her arms around his neck, feeling her knees buckling. When he pulled away and spoke she opened her eyes. When he kissed her again, she pulled away slightly.
"Nato... I need you to do more than try. If you don't think you can be faithful... then maybe we should wait until you are certain. Forgive me for being a silly girl in this... But I've already lost someone I loved once... I don't want to feel pain like that again," she said softly.

He could understand her worries but he could not be bothered with them right now. Lifting her chin he kissed her lips softly, "Juvel, I said I will try. You cannot fault a man such as myself for trying. I understand your concern and I will do everything in my power to make you happy. But you must be willing to take a chance if this is going to work. I am here right now...I'm making that leap of faith. Will you join me?" he asked grazing his lips to hers. "I know I'm asking a lot of you but...maybe I've been longing for this and maybe this may be my only chance to find what I'm looking for." he kissed her again and spoke while their lips still pressed softly together. "I choose you ...I want it to be you. If its possible I want you." he said again and tried for another kiss before releasing her.

Obie looked up at him and swept her hair out of her face. She looked away for a moment, then reached up and pulled him down to her level. She stared directly into his blank eyes and willed him to believe her sincerety.
"If you cross me Nato you will regret it. When I open myself up to someone it's at a great cost to myself and that is something I protect most dearly. So now it's your turn to decide if I'm worth it," she said softly.

"You dare to threaten me?" He answered her with a coy smirk.
He grew serioius after that bumping his head to hers. "The question my jewel, is if I'm worth it... you think too little of yourself." He reached out to take her in arms lifting her from the ground. "I will not cross you however, you are trying to trap air with a net. This is a practice in futility. I am flirtatous to a fault, I am touchy and I like to explore through my hands considering my sight is null and void. If you cannot handle these small details then walk away now." he needed to know if she would take him as he was or did she expect him to change over night. He knew that wouldn't happen, god how he knew he would mess this up...he would hurt her and it scared him to think he would lose her so soon. But if she could forgive his flaws if she could except the small details he could damn well keep his sexual appetite in check.
