Okay. People at my school found out I was Bi and they completely freaked out about it. I lost alot of 'friends' and well all hell broke loose. But you know what they can go screw themselves because I like me for who I am and I don't need there opinions so.... NYAH! xp

MangaGirl I have to admit the idea of being proud of a sexuality has not really occured to me. I guess if you are willing to admit that you are not straight and feel the need to take some form of outward pride in it, there is nothing wrong with that. Being who you are is what matters, not being what you think everyone else wants you to be. If you are not some Christian straight laced goody goody ( not that there is anything wrong with that, mind you) there is nothing I know of that says you are an evil person who will rot in hell for all eternity. If there is some magic switch that can be flipped to alter your sexual preference, would it not be logical that many people would use it to spare themselves the embarrassment and upset of being homosexual or bisexual? There is so much stigma on this, it's not even funny. I say this because almost everyone I know that is of a certain sexual preference had no say in who or what they find attractive and not. It's something that seems as much a part of a person as their hair colour and skin tone. I see no reason to conceal such things, but I am admittedly more open minded than most about such matters. ( Ask my why sometime, and I may explain further.) There is just no reason to place all this emphasis on being straight, or on hiding who you feel because it does not match what you think others want to see. To live a lie sucks. I did it for many years, and would have been better off had I not. There is only one thing I can argue about loving someone of the same gender, and that is you cannot procreate naturally with two females or two males. That said, it's about the only arguement I have against it. Are we so desperate for the species to reproduce that a few couples cannot avoid this? I think not. AMAEN

ok a year ago i told people i was bi i still get mad funof and called a dike. But what helped me to come out was that one of my favrite teachers was a lesiban. what you have to relise is its more importend to like your self for who you are then to try to please other people by puting up an act.

as much as i hate to say this me being very worried the lgbt movement the fcc is going to make lgbt activities ilegal and i qoute from a articla i read a while back "if this continues there will be a repeat of the genocide plan the nazi's used." and it scare's the hell out of me

Yeah punching is always fun! I can't say too much on this subject cuz I don't really know what I am. I am in love with a guy, but I might like this girl a little, so yeah I don't know. Anyway, not the point, the point is that you should be who you are. Acting like someone you are not can tare you apart. There is absolutely nothing wrong with showing pride that your gay or bi. But there are some people who will ridicule you or pretty much say that God hates you and your going to hell if you don't change.
Personally:
1. i am gay, and there aren't alot of people that are all to tolerent of it either
2. i have been made fun of and nearly got in a fight because they hosestly didn't think i could harm them because i was gay
HOW it happened:
"Hey, you going to the prom?"
"Yes, with my boyfriend, why?"
"I was just wondering if you maybe wanted to go with me"
"Oh. This is the first time i've been asked by another guy, not a girl."
"Your a guy?!"
"Um, yes...it seems just about everybody knew that but you."
"f**!"
"Your the one asking me out!"
"f**!"
"f** can still kick your a**!"
"I highly doubt a wuss like you could do anything to me."
"Oh you do, do you?"
(my bf Jack had to practically drag me away from the guy, thankfully we didn't fight so i wasn't suspended or nethin)
Not pretty.... >.>;
3. I have been dragged to church by one of my really strong christan friends, ok i agreed just to make them happy, but pretty much all that happened from my POV was that she said it's not right to be gay, i shouldn't be proud of it, God doesn't like it, God can't accept you like that, i'm going to Hell, The End. I really think all religion is pretty much celebrating that one God that we all know is there in different ways, so there is no right or wrong religion to me. It's not bad to have your mind set on something, but it is bad to try to force your veiws on other people, all it does really is push them away for the most part.
Being gay or bi is part of life.

our school has three pregnet people and one of them is bi. also i have herd people talking about guys being gay and girls being lesbo and they don't care they still have friends. it's just the christian goddy goodys that say being gay/bi/lesbo is wrong that is making everybody els think that too. but for me i am straight and i have no problem with people different than me mrgreen
