LDSeraphim do we use birth control?? NO!!! we do not. ever. therefore, i am offended that the picture chosen to represent the guild is a condom. find a better picture. LDSeraphim, I believe you are overstating the position. While the church does believe in the importance of family and considers parenthood a divine calling, the authorities have also said that family size is something to be privately discussed, prayed about and decided by the husband and wife. So it is not true that we do not ever use birth control.

Itesa Can't say as I'm thrilled with the idea of Sex Education from the internet. I hope the guild members are more mature and responsible than most of the people I've met on here. I know some parents don't live up to their obligations but I still think Sex Ed is something for them to do. I would be very uncomfortable with my teen learning such things on here. I've seen some thoughtful, helpful people on here but I've also seen a distinct lack of gospel principles. Sorry for the outburst, but you're overreacting. How are you not abiding by the guild rules? You asked if we felt offended and many said yes. You asked for it. I still don't believe a condom gives the right message. To me, it gives the idea that it's ok to have safe sex whenever, you won't get hurt. While that is better than spreading STDs, sex is meant to be sacred, precious, and saved for your spouse. Abstaining from it until the appropriate time should be the real message.

Of course we know that the internet is filled with a bunch of crap. We see things we don't want to. But we just try to not let it get to us, we try to avoid it as best we can.
