I've never heard that expression before.

Speaking for myself, I knew of the expression because my dad used it for as long as I knew him, but on a whim I checked urban dictionary and they had it posted, too. Go figure.
Potato is not as nice as me, so she probably would not bother to tell you about

(then again, I have never told her, she is usually to annoying to talk to so I like to lock her in the kitchen cupboard and forget about her alot... mrgreen
