Finally... a decent country song. I found this this morning and had to share it with you guys. It's like the story of my life. Anyway, great song.
It's called "Boondocks" by Little Big Town. There's a video in my profile. Go check it out.

Yellow Card's latest album Lights and Sounds is pretty good, I had seen them perform some of the songs on the tv show 7th Ave. Drop, and had went to Walmart to get the new The Fold cd, but having no luck finding it, decided to go ahead and get Lights and Sounds.
A few years ago Linkin Park was one of the only non-Christian bands I liked, I still have their poster up in my room, but I don't listen to them too much anymore.

Nickelback is a really good band. You should check out some of their music. My personal favourite would probably be Far Away. Its really cute... whee

btw - I love this sub-forum. I can't stand songs that are like "Take your clothes off for me while I smoke a joint"
It's so hard to find clean secular music XP
ps - finch is really good too >> I'll be adding more good secular bands ina min XD

Iron Maiden's a wonderful band, and probably the most definitive metal band in history. I consider them my favorite.
I also like Dream Theater, Sonata Arctica, and Symphony X. Far as I know, none of them are Satanic. Dream Theater and Iron Maiden even have Christian members.

Then Alice Cooper came along and made the wierd stuff. He was the original Manson. twisted

I'm a musician. I have to put my two sense. I love all the the contemporary stuff and classic rock. Imogen Heap Evanescence My Chemical Romance Josh Groban Lang Lang The Killers The Offspring Blind Melon Nobuo Uematsu Nirvana in my opinion, are probably some of the greatest artists and bands.

At the risk of being stoned by die-hard Christians, I think E Nomine and Disturbed are pretty darn amazing.
If you don't like creepy stuff, E Nomine's first album is called "Das Testament" and it's all about Biblical quotations spoken in German. So it's pretty safe, and there's amazing Gregorian choruses!
