They have the most hilarious hats there 3nodding I've bought a couple hats there before! xd However, I hardly ever wear hats, so I don't know what happened to them. I only have two hats that I ever wear. xp I wanted to buy hats there but I never have crying

I was in Leavenworth about a month ago. Every restaurant there serves awesome food. My parents are going back for Oktoberfest. I really want to be there during winter when everything is blanketed in snow. That would be win.

I hate to be snobbish, but they're bavarian and not German. Yes there is a big difference. It's like calling someone from the rich part of town, or even middle class, white trash. Germans are more well mannered and have better grammer than Bavaria, which is where leavenworth (Leave-n-ver-th) was modeled from. BBut I love it there, great shops great food. Although, this summer I was stuck there for 4 hours by myself as my friends river rafted (not my thing) and it was hella boring. I mst admitt it was fun to see all of teh stores I usually don't because I'm just going to my old favorites and being touristy. During the summer they have some great events. The art show was happening when I was abandonned there.

Last year, my friend and I spent her birthday in Leavenworth. I loved it. We went to every shop we found (I think the hat shop and the Austrailaian shop were our favorites) We explored the Christmas shop top to bottom, and we had a blast!

The last time I was there I stayed at this place called Haus Lorlei... It was amazing! I highly recommend that anyone who goes, go there! Awesome views. It has a hot tub overlooking the river. Very awesome.

There's a parade tomorrow, my jr. high (I'm in high school now so I can't be w/them!) is marching tomorrow! Last year I was w/them, in 9th grade, and our band got best all-around band in the parade! We even beat the highschools that were there! It was awesome! eek
Corbiko: Yes, Leavenworth is Bavarian, but there is NOT much difference between Bavarian and German. They SPEAK German for gosh sakes! And eat German food (and Bavarian too) and they have a VERY similar culture. Bavaria is IN Germany! xd 3nodding

Leavenworth is awesome.. ninja We always pass through there whenever we're headed in that direction. The best time I had there was like, a couple years ago, where I stayed at the Enzian Inn or w/e. Their VIP suite is nice. And a hot tub with snow around you? C'est tres cool.. xd I love christmas time.. ^-^; We only got the room 'cause it was the only one available though.. ^^;

I've never been there but I've seen pictures of it. It looks like a cool place to visit although I've heard that it doesnt look like Bavaria. My source would know too, she lived right to the south of it for two years. *nods* But it is the closest we can get without having to go there
