Charles looked up at the man with the mustache and pushed the plate over to him with a fork on the side. He said, "Go ahead, have some." He looked back worriedly at the wall in front of him and looked around again when another knight came in- some unknown girl. He put his hand on his head in I'm-screwed-over-its-not-even-funny- gesture.
A servant marched into the vistors room and asked in a booming voice, "Are you all here to see thy lord Renholm?"

The servant put on spectacles and stared at the letter than said, "Ah Mr. Armand- we've all been expecting you, this is a matter of great importance-please come into the kings chamber- he is currently awaiting all of you." The Servant marched into a large hallway waiting for them to come. Charles swore under his breath and said, "Juuuust great.."

Armand glanced at Charles. "Come on now, I don't think its that bad! I'm sure the job pays well!" He laughed slightly and followed the servant into the large hallway. His eyes fell upon the numerous paintings along the wall and he studied them with delight. "Now good sir," he said approaching the servant, "how many other's did your lord send these letters out to?"

The servant-a rather stuffy looking fellow said, "I do not know the approximate number- but he sent one to every single castle supporting knighthood as long as the ruler of said castle was a friend and not enemy." He said under breath, "In other words- any castles with less riches than him..." Charles marched along with them until they came to a set of double doors. The servant opened them slowly- inside was a humongous meeting chamber with 5 thrones stacked at the top of the room. In the middle throne was Duke Renholm- he looked like fat-bald-very tall man with yellow and red checkered clothes under a richly textured robe. A big bushy gray mustache stood below his nose. He appeared to sitting with visiting members of other kingdoms and right next to him was a breathtaking beauty by the name of Melia. Charles looked like his heart skipped a beat when he saw her.

Renholm looked pleased at this state of knightlyness for him, he said to him, "Rise Sir Laurent de champs, your show of readiness to go out on this most dangerous quest has already impressed me." Charles didn't bow, he simply stood silent watching the proceedings. Renholm than said, "To the north of this kingdom- in the uncharted territories of the farming lands a rumor has sprung up of horrible forces there." Renholm looked slightly uncomfortable and added, "And the reports claim that these forces are-erm-uh..Banshees."

Gina finaly broke her silence. "I'm sorry sire, but i'm afraid i'm not familiar with this term, Banshee," She spoke with a thick accent as well. "I sir am Gina I do not feel a need for a last or middle or last name. I refuse them both. I was told to come to this place as well," she gently flicked her hand like she was brushing something aside.

Renholm eyed her contemptouosly, he said, "Mistress Gina-or whatever your name is, a banshee is...a creature said to guide the dead to the next world- They come to the doors of those who will die and scream- a terrible one at that. Thier voices are said to to make the soul itself break and the brain go mad." But he seemed cheered up when he said, "Of course thier existence is just speculation." Charles looked full of suprise and even anger, he said to Duke renhom trying to conceal his rage, "And what makes you so sure that you can even consider this...unique predicament as true?"

The Duke ignored Charles question and told Armand, "Of course-you will have the basic supplies that you have mentioned, but I'm afraid that you will have to leave tonight- I want this problem solved as soon as possible, banshees or not.." He turned to charles finally and said, "Charles...Map the area thier in and have yourself a bloody good time." Than he said loudly, "This meeting is adjourned, your supplies are out back-good luck on your journey, a cage of carrier pigeons will be with the wagon- Charles will know what to do with them."

"I agree with charles. The wagon, and rations will realy be needed in this excrusion (sp?)" She looked over at charles, and gave him a small hello. She pushed her hair out of her face reaveiling her smile. She was thrilled, and tryed to contain it, but she was failing miserably. The decore wasnt helping much either.

Armand bowed and left the room. Walking quickly down the hall, he hummed softly to himself. This will be a chance to work on his rapier skill. Soon he found himself outside with his hand resting on the handle of his rapier. They should leave as soon as possible but they needed the wax if they hope to defeat thoes creatures.
