Manga definitely. Though I love Greg Aryes, I still have to go with the manga. The manga has more of Gojyo's cuss words XD! Plus, I like the way he looks in the manga anyway.

I perfer the manga, the manga have better art and better style. I still haven't finish reading saiyuki gaiden, it was really good. I noticed that they never showed Homura in the first series and only introduced a bit of him in the saiyuki gaiden volumes.

I like the manga more beacues it is better structured. Everything ties to gether better in the manga. I also like the art better in the manga and Goku is much cutter in the manga.

i love the anime because...they're moving!!!! oh my gosh! they're moving!!! xd
but there are a lot of events in the manga not shown in the anime. so i love both. heart

anime is as good as the manga i think. they put a good effort forth to give the anime a good rating.

Hey, I've noticed that no one's posted about Sanzo, Hakkai, Kougaiji, or anyone besides Goku, Gojyo, and a little bit of Homura O.o

The_Imiko259 Hey, I've noticed that no one's posted about Sanzo, Hakkai, Kougaiji, or anyone besides Goku, Gojyo, and a little bit of Homura O.o that is very true but i will change it!!.....i like the manga better because sanzo doesn't smile as much.....he's kinda OOC in the anime....and the arts much better in the manga too...

I'm a fan of the manga. It's mainly because I had no time for the anime during marching season, but I always had time to read on the bus rides to football games and such.
I'd finish about four manga a school day, but I reread Saiyuki a lot. xd
