Aravie- -___- No, no, we're talking about Elfen Lied here, if you didn't notice by the countless pictures and threads indicating so. Miroku is a character from Inuyasha, it really isn't that hard to remember. And I think Mariko is adorable. It took awhile, but I started to really like her.
Uchiha Arukan- Eeee! Nozomi is so cute, I just want to hug her!
Deschaine- I think those are little clips made to induce pity-That is the life Mariko deserved, and yet was never given. The diclonius virus destroys many opportunities-Or is it the human reaction to it that destroys them? If Mariko had been born a normal little girl, she could have had that happy life but instead hers was unfortunate and void of love. To increase the sadness of the scene, those pictures show us the happiness that was so brutally taken away from her because of her condition.

Uchiha Arukan kakashi is hott ahhhhhhhhhhh, ia hate Miroku, for one thing, she is mean, and she is sooo ugly!! For a bloodthirsty monster I think Mariko is still cute as a button. She's not really even evil, she's just well, deranged. She's damn smart for a little child too. I did feel bad for her when she died in the anime, and I know even though I hate her in the manga I'll feel sad when she dies then too. crying Also we should add that She is derangled becasue he is a litteral time bomb, and that she has not ever really seen the light of day. I would be a bloodthirsty killer if I was locked away for years on end. And I think her vectors were so long and so visable because they are attached to her emotions, they were so strong to her want to see her father, hoping to see him again. Yet Mariko is not as much as a killer as we think becasue she did not finish of lucy when she had the chance, and i can leave that not to spoil it more then I have

For some reason I feel conflicted about Mariko at the moment... usually I hate her but right now I feel sympathetic...

She has the trademark Diclonius RAGE, but she was mostly missing her parents whom she loved.
I felt bad for her because she was subjected to all of those experiments and kept in that chamber for so long, even unable to move because of it. You could just feel the jealousy rolling off of her when she realized that Nana had been treated much differently from her, and that she got to be with her Papa all the time while Mariko herself could not. Which is why she specifically targeted Nana, out of intense jealousy.
I suppose she got her happy ending in the end--she gets to be with her family, which is what she wanted in the first place. Can't help but wonder if she would have grown up to be a sweet girl like Nana, able to surpress her "Diclonius nature" and live a relatively happy life with her Mama and Papa had her life been different.
