I feel a distinct desire to leave this... this crazy place... and get on with my life, thank you EVER so much, was precisely what Tanith did not say. Oh, he wanted to, but considering this... this woman had come to him when he was poking around the fairy circle, practically LURED him inside, and then had the audacity to grow to human size once within - not to mention have the utter gall to be wearing next to nothing...

Tanith was much too bewildered to say much of anything, but the spider Oculai clinging to his shoulder was practically cackling under her breath - he could feel her shifting back and forth with mirth. Damned controlling females! "I'll deal with YOU later," he hissed at Chihso, before inclining his head towards the queen.

"Majesty, I am surely entranced by your fair realm," he said aloud, in his finest, most charming tone.

Chihso giggled again, so quietly that he was the only one who could hear it, and he had to seriously struggle to keep from scowling. "Are you sure you don't feel anything else?" the Oculai purred into his ear, the laughter lurking just below the surface of her words.

"I-" He paused, his brow wrinkling in thought. So help him, there was something... a light pull, similar to what happened when one of his released creations was calling to him. But surely in this realm he was well out of their range, not even his most powerful could call across the boundary of worlds. "Perhaps," he admitted, bowing slightly to Nox. He rather wished Chihso would fall off of his shoulder with the movement, but she didn't. Of course.

((Sounds good. ^^ We'll just get them there and stuff.))

Nox was amused. She could see the way Tanith was observing her and enjoyed the attention. Still, now was not the time for such simple indulgences.
"Good. I should like you both to lead me in the direction that you feel the pull. First you, Lenore."

As the strange reptile-esque woman had been the first to answer, she would be the first to unlock one of the Moon Court.

The efforts to find the healer had gone wrong, and Mephiti was no where to be found. Leaving a note on her door, Feles headed back to his own room and, as promised, was back about five minutes later. "I can't find the healer," he said, moving to gather up a few things that he thought they'd need. "So I believe we're on our own until she gets here."

He set down some blankets, and moved to grab the teapot from its resting place near the hearth. He set it so that the water would warm, and then moved back to Aranea's side. "If you kill me, I can't help you through this," he reminded, before getting within range of any of her arms.

((Note: Feles' feelings about the healer have no reflection on my own opinion. xd ))

Feles started to purr softly... not as a sound of contentment, but of distress. However, he hoped that it might help calm her as well. "It'll be over soon," he murmured, curling onto the bed and feeling one hand along her swollen stomach. He could FEEL the contractions as they hit, and his body tensed in sympathy.

Damn that healer... she should be here. He'd much rather be curled up behind Aranea, helping her through this, rather than having to stand and simply direct as he waited for the ultimate end to this fiasco. "You won't have to harm the healer," he growled softly. "I'll get to her long before you do."

The cat seemed to get an idea then, a wry smirk crossing his face as he curled up in between the spots where her feet dug against the blankets. "That Sun Court mouse... the one you had in the dungeons, remember? You never did tell me what you had planned for her. Tell me now?"

ANYTHING to distract the woman from the task at hand... or at least the pain of it. If he was any semblance of a healer himself, he'd have done something to stop the pain directly. As it was, he could only try to take her mind off it. If she was funnelling her anger towards the Sun Court, so much the better.

"Watching her die slowly..." he purred, nuzzling against that foot for a moment as he tried to see how much longer it would be until the child was born. He didn't KNOW these things... all he knew was that she was in pain and that the kid would pop out eventually. "That would have been a sight... watching them race around, wailing about the loss of one of their own."

As her next statement, one ear pricked up and a slow smirk crossed his face. "Not unless you can come up with a potion to switch our genders, love... however, I'm certain you or the healer can come up with an herb or something that one of us can take, to make sure this doesn't happen again until we want it to."

((Not a problem, Shia. heart There's nothing saying that they have to show up DURING the birth. In fact, it might be safer for them to arrive afterward. xd ))

((Screw that, worry about the fully-mobile CLAWED father, who's already had his nerves frayed to a thread. xd ))
