Guess who jumped up the metaphorical ladder this afternoon? I did. And you know why I'm so happy it's almost retardedly scary?

I FINALLY GOT NX CASH.

Giggity giggity.

I'm so happy, because I was finally able to buy a store permit, an extra slot for Etc. items in my inventory, 2 reg. plastic surgery coupons (The first result came out awful, and the second, well... I'll post a picture later to show you my great fortune), 1 reg. hair coupon for Orbis, and baby angel wings. Let me tell you, my luck has been KICKASS today. I got exactly what I wanted for my character's appearance, and just out of a gambling nature. The pixelated Maple Heavens must be smiling at me today.

I'm not posting pictures just yet, because I want Amos to see me on MapleStory next time he logs on. It's a surprise. Speaking of which, he's coming home soon! We'll finally be able to level together. My kittens, you have no idea how good of a day its been for Mapling.

I fought Star Pixies for a little bit, then headed towards Ludibrium again. I'm still wondering how to make that Panda and Pink Teddy omok table. Is it even possible? Gah, I hope so. I'll go ask someone later.

Well.. Mapling hasn't been going that far for me lately.

I'm always distracted by chat invitations when I'm on the game, and I never get any leveling done. Oh well. I'm now able to update my picture album in this journal, and show what my appearance looks like after the plastic surgery and hair salon fixups.

I was insanely ecstatic because it was what I wanted. Needless to say, it embarrasses me how I'm training in an area and people walk past me, saying "ROFL" in my general direction. You have no idea how many times I'm requested to press F2 so people could look at my "ugly face." Amos told me he didn't like it, and when we were in Ludibrium, a magician bumped into us. I thought he was nice at first, but it's getting old now that I see him in different places and he leaves messages saying "It's that scary girl." I even went AFK all night while leaving my store open and he left such kind words in my shop. :/ That was the cherry on the s**t sundae.

Now I'm really having my second thoughts about buying NX. It made me happy, and I thought I would amuse others too, but it's starting to annoy me. What's the point of training somewhere if people will stop me in the middle of killing, and ask if I can mindlessly entertain them and press a bunch of emote keys so they can laugh at me? It's a waste of time. And it happened more than once today.

Lesson of the day: Don't put your hopes up too high.

Well I'm happy to say I at least got a Panda Teddy and Pink Teddy omok table finished. I found the game NPC in Ludibrium, so it was well worth it. Woot.

Level 36, and procrastinating.

Haven't found a good time to actually do anything. Still get ugly comments and insults every day. Still get people giving me the old F6 while walking by. Still get people sending me trades just so they can say "LOL UR UGLY" and cancel.

It's common and I'm used to it, meaning I can ignore someone trying to stop me in the middle of a killing spree just so they can try to be humorous in a feeble way by pointing out my NX outfit.

So yeah. I'm killing Zombie Lupins at the moment to get 200 cursed dolls. It's such a chore right now.

Level 38! thirty-eight! THIRTY-EIGHT!

This week has treated me nicely so far. Amos and I explored Omega Sector when it first opened, so I have some screen shots of what has happened:







All those aliens were rounded up by Amos, and he dragged about 40 or so on the map towards this one gigantic spot, where we both battled them for a good 10 minutes. The quality is shitty because I had no time to use the "print screen" method on my keyboard. Instead I kept my finger on the Scroll Lock and took lazy screenshots of the scene.

You'll also see that we both have "Crush rings" equipped. heart



And in this one, I had to take a screenshot, because the sunset colors were absolutely gorgeous.

I also happened to stumble upon a Korean Fan and Kumbi Throwing Stars in Eos Tower, both within 2 days. heart I might keep the fan but I'm thinking of selling the Kumbis. I can't believe I've been finding sweet item drops.

Wayhaaaaaay!

I'm level 39, and I'll be doing nothing but Ludibrium quests with Amos until I reach level 40.

It's been a while since I've played Maple Story, but since Amos has been to camp for the summer, there was really no reason in going back on... I hardly had any friends who would keep in touch with me through the game. But he's back now, and we're picking up where we left off.

My NX cash items expire in late August, so I'm thinking of getting another round of money put into PayPal once I'm able to get a job.

It appears everyone got kicked out of the Disco guild, so now I'm guildless... but I have a little over 2 million meso. I'm debating on buying a guild of my own. Maybe if I meet more people in the game and start to make new friends all over again, that can be achieved.

MAPLE LLAMA STAFF HOORAY.

I was in the FM today, looking for an Esther shield, when I came across someone selling a Llama staff for... I forget what price. 1.9 mil, I'm guessing. Something affordable in my budget, anyway. I had my choice of spending: It was either going to be the staff or the shield. So I bought the staff. I can still find an Esther shield by killing Platoons, which I've been doing this entire time anyway.

So yeah, I'm happy. I also have it upgraded with a 60% magic attack for staff scroll. Magic attack is at 59 on my Llama staff now.
