"Not even my mommy...?" But... why not? She was sure her mom would be really happy for Jacosa and praise him and maybe even let them have some cookies or something!
The mutt stared at the water, ears perking as it started to move on it's own. "Wooooooooooow... You're doing that?!"

"Yeah..I'm doing that." Jacosa mumbled and stopped immediately as the headache came back. It was a thumping sound right behind his fronthead.
His sad eyes turned to Kat. "Because your mommy would tell my mommy and she doesn't know that I'm here...because...because.." The otter had to swallow his tears and looked at the floor. "Because she's not my mommy, I'm from a hole from another world..." His tail curled around his ankle and Jacosa silenced himself.

Suddently, things where starting to make sence. "Is that why you look so sad, Cosa... ?" The steggo asked, face soft, not really knowing what to do or say. He had always known Zero was not his brith mother, and even if he hadn't, she had told him as soon as he had been old enough to understand, very well used to it due to the countless children she had - all adopted.
"I came from here, too." He said, not sure if it would help or not. "My true mama and papa are dead. Zero never told me that they where, but I just... know." Ronen had his big red eyes on the otter. "...Im not too sure how I can help you feel better."

"... Wha?" Katrina looked down at her friend with a puzzled expression, then looked over as the dinosaur spoke and nodded in agreement with him. "My mommy isn't my real mommy either... but I think my real mommy is still alive." Though she failed to mention anything about her birth father. "I just kinda know too, somehow. I think." How DID she know...?

Jacosa was shocked. All of them were adopted ? That just couldn't be true. "They lied to me. And they will like Nila more, because she's the real baby." Trying to hold back his tears the otter watched the others.
"Do you think we can go back and meet them one day ?" An almost pleading look was sent to Kat and Ronen. He just wanted to leave, he didn't like this situation. It was bad.

Ronen pondered this for a moment, and finally sighed. "I don't know, Cosa. I really don't know. I havn't really thought about it... After all, if I was to go back... There wouldn't be anyone waiting for me, so I don't see the point. I can try to ask Zero, but that might not be too good of an idea either..." After all, Cosa had said to tell no one. "Im sorry, I really don't know."
The steggo shook his head, not liking to see his friend so sad - he almost felt like crying, himself. "Do you have somewhere to go to ? I mean, you can't just stay in the streets or things like that.... It's not really safe."

"I dunno. I think that'd be nice though." Katrina kneeled down next to him and frowned, patting his shoulder as she tried to comfort him.
"You really should go back to your mommy though... I doubt that just because Nila is your mommy's real baby that she loves her more. I mean..." She thought for a moment, nibbling on her bottom lip. "My mommy can't even have babies!" Her chubby arms were held out for emphasis. "Just because you weren't borned'd to them doesn't mean she loves you any less." ... Right?

Jacosa listened to the different words. No, he couldn't stay on the street. No, he didn't want to go home. Suddenly an idea was born in his head and he grinned a bit. "I will go and visit my grandma."
After a few seconds of pondering he nodded to himself. "I'll better go now. I - I'll send you a postcard." The otter mumbled and quickly hugged the steggo and the dog girl before rushing out of the building.
