~ Lake rp Nov 1- Dec 14 ~ Taro Rae The wind was chill, and yet Krait stood at th end of the lake with his pale toes bared to the elements. He still wore his heavy winter coat and long scarf bundled around his slim body. Hands tucked into pockets, and breathing white clouds of breath, Krait wriggled his toes in the cold water of the lake's edge. He much've looked a silly contrast from afar, but the rosin seemed lost in his own little world. The teen had his blue-on-black eyes focused unblinking on the shimmering lake's surface, and other than the occassional flick of his tail rudder on the water's surface he remained perfectly still. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai hopped along the shore of the lake. She really like being near the water. She was wearing her ball costume of a blue ballgown and a cone princess hat. She hadn't been to the ball, but was still dressed, Lorelai had been to nervous to go in.
After a few hops she saw another figure with his toes in the water. She hopped a bit closer peering at him. She wondered what he was doing out here in the cold, but then again the question could have been asked of her. "Hello.." Taro Rae Krait looked up as he saw a shadow flicker overt he water's surface. The teen raised his eyes and peered around him, eventually catching sight of the girl next to him. Krait intook a sharp breath and blinked languidly. He hadn't heard he aproach...nor smelled her with his tongue. He must've been lost deeper in his thoughts than he had assumed. Krait tasted the air once, then twice... No scent of danger. Softly, meekly, the older boy whispered, "Hello..." Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Andromeda has NO idea what she is doing here. Instinctively, she knows that she and large bodies of water do NOT mix. But, here she is, in an attempt to be a little more social.
Why, again, did she want to be more social? Oh, yeah, the only other Rosin she really speaks to is Olivia. And, let's face it, Livvy is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. And, she is always bounding around and has all of this energy. . . . Bleh.
She just wants to laze about! But, nooooo, she is out HERE. . . . Oh well. . . .
She notices a blue girl, and a white guy standing off alone. Alright, they might be promising?
Pulling on her skirt, and straightening her shirt, she walks over to them. "Hey," she says, holding out her hand for one of them to shake. "I'm Andromeda. But, you can call me Andy."
(( Eh, for my sanity, she is wearing what she is wearing in my siggy. ^^ Plus, it is an awesome outfit! )) Taro Rae Krait looked up, startled and caught sight of the red-and-black girl. She had eyes like he did... Krait took a moment to let that sink in and after a long stony silence he responded. "Hello..." He reached out with his rudder and allowed his tail to shake her outstretched hand. Krait's own hands remained, as usual burried in his pockets. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Andy was pretty sure that she wasn't going to get a response from either of them, and was about to wander off (hey, she didn't need them!), when the pale one reaching out with his . . . tail? She shakes it, either way, and looks the pale one over.
"So, are you going to tell me your name?" she asks, smiling slightly, just for form. Wow, tough crowd. . . . Lorelai~Rosin ((Sorry I didn't reply right away, I had a very busy weekend...)) Lorelai watched as another girl wandered over. The teen boy stuck his tail out to the other girl in a shaking gesture. Lorelai pouted a bit. "I'm Lorelai!" She said butting herself back into the coversation.Taro Rae Krait blinked slowly, as if mulling over Andy's words. "My name is Krait." He spoke softly, nearly a whisper, and his eyes darted about a little nervously. He hunched his shoulders a little, the white puffs of breath steaming out through his scarf. A cold drop of water landed solidly on his nose and the serpentine teen supressed a shiver. His cool blood was slowing, and his senses were slowing down with the slow of his pulse. He darted his blue-on-black eyes to the sky and saw that the clouds were beginning to let their accumulated rain fall. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Andy looks over at the blue girl, and quirks an angles brow. "Hello. . . ." she says, offering the girl a polite smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. "It is nice to meet you," she pauses as she strains to hear the whisper of the older boy. "And, you, Krait."
She, herself, shivers as a few drops of rain hit her. With an annoyed sigh, she crosses her arms over her chest, and hunches her shoulders. "It would happen. The first time I decide to go out, it starts raining. I guess that is a sign that I shouldn't be social. . . ." she grumbles the last bit to herself. Taro Rae Krait listened quietly, his eyes turned down to his yet-naked toes. And then, in a soft, murmured stream of liquid notes, he began to sing a little ditty. "The itsy bitsy spider...went up the water spout..." went the ditty. "Down came the rain and washed the spider out..." Sago Dogann Wraped in the winter Kimono that Krait gave to her and an Umbrella Keshi arrived at the lake. With a shiver she began to walk around the lake. She was surprised how much she liked the pitter, patter of the rain considering how much she diden't like getting wet. As she walked she could her voices so she decided to walk toward the sound. As she got closer she could hear someone singing. "That voice sure sounds like Kraits." she mumbled to herself. Keshi quickened her steps with the excitment of seeing Krait again and the idea of meeting new kids. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai felt the first drop on her face. She didn't hate the rain, she liked moisture, but more liked when it was mist. "It's nice to meet you too." She said to the girl, she had a feeling that the boy was ignoring her. Maybe she was too small to be seen...
Lorelai heard the running and turned to see another girl. This one had an umbrella with her. She was thinking ahead. Lorelai wished she would have thought of that. Sago Dogann By the time she arrived at the group she was puffing enough to see her breath. "Umm hi everyone." Keshi said while skiping around the puddles building on the ground. Keshi looked over to Krait and colour began to build in her cheeks. " Thank you for to new Kimono again I would have been so cold." Keshi wispered to Krait and than looked at everyone and said "Whats everyone up to?" Taro Rae Krait blinked languidly and slowly registered Keshi's words. His brain was so slow and so sluggish from the cold. He hunched his shoulders as high as he could and began to rub his fingers together inside the pockets of his coat. He had to get his blood moving again, or he'd jsut fall asleep. He liked the warm weather, this blustery autumn stuff was making him sleepy. He smiled at Keshi, though jsut the sparkle in his dark eyes was visible, as his mouth was burried in piles of scarf. He turned his eyes to Lorelai, and then to Andy, before replying to Keshi. "Doing? We're not really doing anything. Nothing but getting cold..." Sago Dogann "Maybe if everyone walks around the together we will be able to warm up." Keshi said with a shiver. "What do you all think? Sound like an Idea...um cuse I was warm till I stoped." Keshi then turned to everyone shruged with a smile on her face. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai smiled at the pretty girl in the kimono. "Walking sounds like a good idea, what's your name?" Lorelai was making quite a few new friends and was happy about that. She still envied this new girl for bringing an umbrella, hadn't Lorelai saw the rain before she went out for her walk? Sago Dogann Keshi turned to Lorelai, bowed deeply and said "I'm so sorry my name is Keshi. Um whats yours?" Starting to get cold Keshi began to shift from foot to foot, her geta clacking on the stone pathway. Lorelai~Rosin "I'm Lorelai! It's nice to meet you!" Lorelai put her arms around herself. She didn't have anything really warm on. That's what she got for chickening out and not going to the Halloween dance. She was stuck in her princess costume instead of her normal clothes. Sago Dogann Keshi Bowed again and said " It's a pleasure to meet you. I love your costume, but you look cold and wet. Here share my umbrella." With a smile she walked over to Lorelai and moved the umbrella over her so they could share. Keshi spoke again " I'm sorry I don't have much more room under here. What do we do now?" Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai blushed slightly at the compliment. "Thanks." She went under the umbrella and felt a bit better. She heard the rain pounding on the umbrella and was glad to finally be out of it. "Thanks so much." Lorelai shrugged her shoulders, "The walk sounded nice." Sago Dogann Keshi smiled and started to walk. She stoped, looked over to Krait and said " Krait are you ok? Are you gonna come for a walk with us?" Taro Rae Krait blinked languidly. "Walk? A walk sounds perfect." Krait stretched out his tail and got the circulation moving again. He stepped forward towards the girls and lowered his piercing eyes to the ground. "Where will we head?" Anywhere sonuded good to Krait. Perhaps somewhere warm and dry would be best... or even Warm and wet, wet was nice, but cold was making him sleepy. Sago Dogann Keshi began to walk. After a few steps she realised there wasn't enought room for everyone. She stoped and turned to the others and said " Where do you all want to go. We can walk around the lake but it's kinda cold and my umbrella is kinda small. Any ideas would be good." Keshi began to walk again trying to warm up while waiting for and answer. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai followed the other two. "Wherever you want to go is fine." She really hadn't explored much so she didn't know anywhere fun to go. Sago Dogann Keshi spin around and began to walk backwards. " On my way here I was place that had a pool indoors and other stuff. We could go there. Krait said he still wanted water and I like the indoors. And it's warm." Keshi wraped her arms around herself, giggled and began to speak again. " Does that sound ok?" (OOC I'm talking about The Local) Lorelai~Rosin ((Should we end this rp to get ready for the Christmas ball? Or just rp until that opens?)) Lorelai nodded, "Warm sounds good." It had gotten cloder and colder since they had been outside and Lorelai wasn't one for cold.

Lorelai sits at her desk with a pen. She decides to finally write about her first memories. They weren't something she liked to think about, but knew she needed to write them down or she would either lose them or they would consume her.
Dear Diary,
I know I was suppossed to write this a while back, but I didn't want to. I wanted to forget, but then I knew I never would.
The first things I remember are lights, sounds, and a voice. The voice is one thing I won't forget. It told me I have a gift and the gift can be taken like a page from a book! It was scarey...
After I was put in my room I looked breifly at my things. I didn't look long before I was asleep. I remember dreaming of the lights and feeling like I was floating. I'm not sure what else.
Now, I've tried to meet other rosins. I wonder if they went through the same thing. I'm sure they did, I'm not that special.

Lorelai sat back from her desk and left the diary open. She didn't write as much as she hoped she would. Lorelai shrugged her shoulders and then rubbed her arms. She was still cold from her outing by the lake. She wondered if she would ever get over the cold.

Dear Diary,
I met a few rosins the other day at the lake. They seemed pretty nice. I met a girl named Andy, a boy named Krait, and a girl named Keshi. Keshi was really nice, she let me share her umbrella. I wish I would have had my own, but oh well.
After that I joined a secret santa game. I got a note from The Nameless One with a name of Ora. I put some materials together to make something. I hope Ora likes it. I'm now heading off to the party, so wish me luck!

~ Party RP Dec 27- Jan 08 ~ Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai wandered into the park. She was wearing her princess dress again, but this time with a yellow scarf. She looked around to see if any of the rosin she knew was here, but didn't see any.
Lorelai saw Sparks placing gifts and decided to watch. She wondered if the person she got a gift for would like it and also wondered what she would get. Sparks Metalgrinder To: Lorelai Special Message?: I hope you like it! -Absinthe Gift Wrappings: A small white box wrapped in light green paper with a dark green bow on top. Gift Description: A silver chain necklace with a bird charm on it. Gift Image:  Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai found the gift with her name on it and ripped the paper off. Inside she found the small bird necklace. "Wow, this is pretty!" She put it on and smiled and it's shiney-ness. Fallen_kitsune_thief Absinthe turned just in time to see the strange little man in action yet again, and shrieked as she jumped out of the way of the strange contraption. One by one, gifts were given out, and the green Rosin's eyes lit up when she saw her own little wrapped box given to a blue girl in a princess dress. Her one-track mind going into action, she ran over to Lorelai, her expression ecstatic.
"You're Lorelai, right? I'm Absinthe!" She bounced up and down with excitement, her pigtail twirling about in the cold air before she held out a gloved hand to be shook. "I hope you like the present: your name kinda sounds like lorikeet, which is how I picked your present!" She grinned widely, apparently very proud of her choice. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai jumped as the other girl over to her. She covered the necklace afraid for one second that she may want to take it away, until she realized this girl was the one that gave it to her. "Thanks! I love it! I thought it was pretty and shiney!" She liked it even more now that she knew the story behind it. Malis Delnaria Ora was just about to introduce himself to the new girl who had entered into the tent when Sparks entered into the room. The unusual mechanism that came in made enough noise that conversation was distracting and he watched with wide eyes as the red-suited Father Christmas started handing out gifts. If they ever could, Ora's eyes got even larger as he was handed a gift. Peeking into the blue bag he took out the white tissue paper and poked at it. Realizing there was something else in the bag he looked inside again and saw the coiled material. Pulling it out he grinned. This was like the picture he saw but more like his own colours. The long pieced together strip was a patchwork of materials that all felt different and he tugged at the tassels a few times before finally wrapping it around his neck. It was really comfortable and the dragon wondered if he could find something shiny that he could see himself in. Lorelai~Rosin As Lorelai talked to Absinthe she spied her gift being given to a male rosin. She watched with big eyes, hoping that he liked it. She saw him tug at the tassles and hoped they didn't come off, she wasn't that great of a seemstress. She sighed as they held fast. Lorelai smiled as Ora put on the scarf and hoped that ment he liked it. Fallen_kitsune_thief Absinthe followed Lorelai's gaze to the third rosin, putting two and two together after a silent moment of thinking. "Oh! That must be your gift, huh?" she asked to Lorelai, noticing the watchful stare she gave to him. "It looks really nice: you wanna go talk to him?"
Without waiting for an answer, Absinthe went up to Ora, tapping him gently on the shoulders. "Hey there! Don't you like your present? Lorelai made it for you!" With a grin, she pointed back to the blue rosin and then called. "Hey, Lorelai, come meet, uhm," she paused, looking back to the lizard-like rosin. "What's your name again?" Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai nodded when Absinthe figured out why she was starting at Ora. "Um..ok." Lorelai wasn't shy, but she was modest. She wasn't really one to run right up to others.
Lorelai blushed as Absinthe pointed her out to the other rosin. She hoped he did like it, but wasn't sure she was ready for an answer. She followed the other girl over and smiled."I thought you would like the colors..." Malis Delnaria Ora was startled out of his reverie when he was tapped on the shoulder by one of the girls in the room. For a moment his brain shut down as he tried to think of the correct response as well as listen to the flood of remarks and questions. Slowly they words seemed to fall into place and he smiled at the both of them. "I do like my present, it is very warm." He tugged at one end and let it tighten around his throat a little. Turning towards Lorelai he smiled wider. "It is very good made. I tried to tie knots in pattern with a hook but it came out lumpy. Sparks finish it off, make it much better." Ora had forgotten what crocheting was and also didn't want to give away his present as he had not spotted the recepiant of his gift yet. Turning his attention back to the green girl he answered her next question with a small bow. "Ora is Ora, Is Ko-mo-do drag-on." He said his type slowly as the sylibles still rolled oddly on his tounge. "I like the colours very much... like turning of leaves in autumn, though I am not sure I like the winter that follows. Too cold..." he added with a small theatrical shiver. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai smiled as Ora said he liked his gift. "I made it from materials I found." She didn't know what this knotting thing was, but sounded neat. Lorelai watched Ora talk and nodded to his comments. "I don't like the cold much either." Fallen_kitsune_thief Absinthe nodded, then decided to add in, "Yeah, I liked it better when it wasn't snowing and everything...wet and cold." She grinned, the twirled. "But hey, at least I have my coat!"
It was then that the rosin realized that perhaps there might be a gift for herself, and walked over to the pile of assorted wrapped things, eyeing the gifts in the hopes that she would find her name. She squealed with delight as she found the little read box, and made short work of the wrappings, finding inside a necklace of her own.
She peered curiously at the strange substance acting as a charm, then poked it curiosly, giggling as the green moved about. She ran back to Ora and Lorelai, holding out the box for them to see. "Look, it moves!" she exclaimed, poking the substance again and giggled as it squirmed within the box. Absinthe then read the message that came with the box, and uttered a curious, "Ooooo..."
She blinked, then concentrated, and the green shifted and turned until it became the same as the bird charm on Lorelai's necklace. "Wow! Cool!" Absinthe noted, lifting the necklace out by it's long silver chain for all to see. Malis Delnaria Ora makes a random post while adding that snow would be better if it was warmer but that he also wouldn't mind going out and making a snowlizzard or something... Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai watched as Absinthe found her present. She wanted to know what the other girl got and watched her excitedly. "Oh, that's neat." Lorelai said as the silver substance moved and then changed to look like Lorelai's necklace. "Can it be anything?"
Lorelai smiled at Ora, "Snow would be better if it was warm." She agreed to that. She didn't like the cold too much.

Dear Diary,
I just got back from the Christmas party! It was alot of fun! I met two other rosins: Absinthe and Ora. They were both nice.
Absinthe was the person me a present. She got me a necklace with a bird on it. It's a Lorikeet and she said it sounded like my name so she gave it to me. Absinthe is a very loud, fun girl. I hope I see her again.
Ora is just the opposite, he is alot quieter. He liked the scarf I gave him, he said it was just the right colors. I was really happy. I was scared he wouldn't like it.
Well, diary, I better head off too bed I'm really tired.

Lorelai closes the book and lays back on her bed. She had her fist holding tightly to her new necklace as she falls slowly to sleep.

~ Developmental House RP Feb 2- Mar 12 ~ Chie Yukiko looks around wide-eyed at his new surroundings. He's quickly given the rundown and shown to his assigned room. Once there he neatly puts his things away in their respective drawers and shelves and looks towards the door. He had seen a wonderful playground somewhere along the way and decided to do some cautious exploring. Leaving his room, slowly and carefully he made his way down the stairs in the direction of what he hoped was the playground. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai streached and yawned, having just woken from a great night's sleep. She was back in her normal clothes, after the winter formal being in her princess dress the whole time, she needed pants.
Lorelai decided to explore a bit more during the day and walked out of her room she started down the stairs when she saw a boy rosin. "Hi!" She said as she tried to catch up to him. Chie Yukiko was about half way down the stairs when he heard a voice behind him.. causing the timid boy to jump so that he nearly fell down the stairs, only just managing to catch himself on the banister. He turned around to find a female Rosin coming down the stairs towards him. He swallowed once and managed a timid wave and a nervous smile, "H... hello." Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai's mouth opened as he started to fall. "Oh my, are you ok?" She hoped it wasn't her fault, she didn't mean to scare him. Lorelai ran down to where he was, "I didn't mean to scare you. I just don't see other rosins here often." She ususally missed then by a few minutes. Chie He continued to smile nervously and shrugged his small shoulders, "I... just got here." He continued to stand leaning against the banister, scuffing the toe of his shoe lightly against the ground. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai nodded, "I've been here for a little while now. It's pretty nice." She said with a smile, the other boy still looked upset. "I'm Lorelai, what's your name?" Chie He swallowed once to calm himself and smilied a little more steadily, "I'm Yukiko. I... I was looking around.. for the playground.. outside." He gripped the end of his braid and fidgeted with the end of his silvery hair. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai smiled, "Oh, the playground. I'll take you." She hadn't actually played on it before, but she did know it was there. Lorelai saw his braid and smiled, "Oh, cool hair, I wish my hair was in braid!" Lorelai got jealous over the oddest things at times. Chie Yukiko's eyes widen a bit, "Eh? It's not hard." He pushed his braid back over his shoulder so that it once again hung down his back. He slowly started back down the stairs, he didn't want to block anyone's way and staying on the stairs seemed a good way to do just that. "I could show you how." Lorelai~Rosin "Really?" Lorelai grabbed absently at her hair, "I doubt it would be as pretty as yours is." She moved as well, not wanting to be hanging out in the middle of the stairs by herself. Chie Yukiko's cheeks flush at what he took as a compliment, his just as pink eyes looking around for the exit to the playground that he knew had to be somewhere. "It takes practice.. but it's not that hard.. really." It must be easy.. Yukiko was rather clumsy and even he could manage to braid his hair without too much fuss... most of the time. Lorelai~Rosin "Really?" She doubted it was easy, but would take his word for it. "You want to go to the playground now?" She was rather interested in playing hopscotch or something. Chie He smiled and gave her a nod in reply, "Yes, let's." He was looking forward to finding the swings and other equipment found there. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai smileed and led him out to the playground, "What do you want to play?" She thought since he was knew he should pick the first game, plus she was up for anything. Chie "Umm.. umm.." He looked around until he found his target, the swings. "Can we play on the swings?" He smiled hopefully. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai looked to where Yukiko was looking and smiled, "Yeah, the swings sound like fun!" She started to run, "Race you there!" Chie Yukiko's eyes widened as Lorelai darted ahead of him. He stumbled once and then took off as best as he could after her. He definatly wasn't the active sort, his scrawny legs and slight frame were testiment to that. So huffing and puffing he chased after her towards the goal of the swingset. caffinated_tulip Marisole woke up from her nap and slowly wiggled out of bed. She had slept in her clothes so as to avoid the hassle of redressing when she awoke. Outside her window she spotted two other children running towards the swings. They looked like they were having fun, they looked good. So Marisole ventured out of her room and headed down to the play ground.
The outside light was too bright and the other children seemed to be having a really good time without her. Marisole hung back against the building, watching the other two play. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai looked back as she ran, she was beating him! She giggled and ran harder to the set of swings. "Beat ya!" She said as she breathed in and out. She jumped in the nearest swing and pushed off. "This is fun!" Chie Yukiko arrived a full 20 seconds behind Lorelai no longer running but tiredly shuffling forward eventually seeking rest against the cool metal pole holding the swings up. He smiled wearily at the already swinging girl and made his way to take a swing of his own while still trying to catch his breath. "Y...yeah.." He wrapped his hands around the swing chains and took a look around the yard, it was then that he noticed yet another rosin among them leaning against the building. He watched her curiously while he dug is toes into the ground offering a small smile and a wave if she happened to be looking his way. caffinated_tulip Marisole realized that she had been spotted and paniced momentarily. She sunk back against the building and tossed a few of her thick strands of hair into her face. However, after a moment she began to feel quite silly, if they'd wanted to hurt her they would've done it by now. So she pushed the hair out of her eyes and walked down to the swingset, curling her toes in the grass as she did so. She looked at the other two rosin dubiously as she sat on the swing beside the lightly colored one. Being that her social graces left a little to be desired, Marisole wasn't quite sure what she was supposed to say, so she waved to the other two and attempted a smile. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelia swung up high as she saw Yukiki smile and wave at someone else. She looked over to see a girl rosin walking slowly over, what was with these slow rosins? "Hi! I'm Lorelai!" She said as the other girl took a swing next to Yukiko. Chie He returned her hesitant smile with a nervous one of his own, "And I'm Yukiko, are you new here too?" He stretched his legs out against the ground in an attempt to stand while remaining seated in the swing. Unfortunatly this met with less than pleasant results. The ground wasn't as stable as it first appeared and as Yuki pushed his feet against it he slipped on the loose earth causing him to slip out of the swing and onto his backside with his arms still caught up in the chains. O_O;;; caffinated_tulip Marisole giggled as the Rosin sitting closest to her fell. "I'm..." she thought about it for a second "Marisole". Her name! She knew her name and it was Marisole. She nodded "I'm new. Very new. I've never been out here before" she dug her toes into the soft ground beneath her feet, letting the nutrients seep into her skin. "It's good". Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai stifled a giggle as he fell, he seemed to fall an aweful lot. "It's nice to meet you!" Lorelai pushed off the ground and started to swing up high as she watched the others. "New? That's cool." Chie His cheeks darked to a florid shade of crimson as he shakily rose to his feet, attempting to dust off the dirt that was now all over his backside. "Likewise... I'm new too. This is my first time out here." He turned around and checked his seat over a few times to make sure of its solidity before carefully regaining his seat. caffinated_tulip Marisole nodded, slowly absorbing the information. She attempted to swing the way Lorelai had but couldnt get the hang of the leg motion, just yet, she resolved to practice later but was for now just enjoying feeling her feet in the soil.
"Are there others here? Like you... Like us?" she added. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai nodded vigorusly, "Yep! I met a few at the lake and then some at the Chistmas party." Lorelai smiled at the memory, her recieving the necklace and talking with others. "Everyone is nice." Lorelai pushed harder and started to swing really high now. Chie Yukiko didn't know the answer to Marisole's question either so he listened quietly to Lorelai's answer and then began looking around as if Rosin were suddenly going to start popping out of the woodwork. He crossed his feet at the ankles, deciding that a stationary motion would work best to stay seated on the swing. "You two are the only ones I've met here so far." caffinated_tulip "That's good" Marisole said. "I like good people. Nice". She began to feel the sun beating down on her and began to feel a bit dried out. The air out here wasn't damp like it was in her room and the sun was hot and bright, it made her skin feel a little weird. She picked up a handfull of dirt and spread it across her back to protect her pale skin from the harsh rays of the sun. Lorelai~Rosin "I'm sure you'll meet more." Lorelai said to Yukiko has she swung up and down. She watched as the girl started to put dirt on herself. "What'cha doing that for?" She hadn't seen anyone do that before. Chie He looks at Marisole strangely, equally puzzled as to why the girl would be rubbing dirt all over herself. He for one didn't mind dirt particularly per say.. but he certainly wouldn't like it if someone rubbed it all over his back. He gave an involuntary shiver at the thought. No, he liked things clean, very bleached and clean. "Eeep.." While lost in his thoughts he had momentarily let go of the chain and almost wobbled out of his seat only regaining his balance at the last moment. Maybe the swings weren't for him afterall. caffinated_tulip Marisole suddenly felt very self conscious. She bowed her head a little so that her thick locks covered her face and she wouldnt have to look at the other two rosin.
"I uh... The sun...it's too bright. The dirt... " she suddenly went blank and just sat still on her seat, she didnt even notice when the lightly colored one almost fell out of the swing again. She rubbed her feet in the dirt, taking comfort in the feeling of it between her toes. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai nodded, thinking she understood. She then had a gleam in here eye as she had an idea. She waited for the swing to get to it's fullest extension and then jumped out!
Lorelai flew over the dirt and landed a few feet away with her arms high above her head. Lorelai turned around, "Wanna do something else? In the shade, maybe?" Chie Yuki carefully rose from the swing, managing to stand without falling over this time. Tugging his long braid he looked at Lorelai and back at the now quiet Marisole. "Umm.. maybe we could go inside or something?" He was sure it would be cooler in there and not sunny at all. caffinated_tulip Marisole considered the suggestion. She reached behind her and wiped some of the dirt from her back.
"Inside, that sounds good". She pushed her thick locks from her face and smiled slightly. She carefully stood up from her swing, having observed Yukiko's numerous falls and being wary of making the same mistake herself. Lorelai~Rosin "Inside?" Lorelai was more of an outdoor's rosin, but she would go along with them. "There's a playroom we can go too. I don't know what's it though." She waited for their answers too see if this was a good plan. Chie Yukiko noddled, the playroom sounded like a good idea as long as they could find it, "Okies, but can we stop by my room first?" He didn't know why but he felt as if he should go up there for some reason, a gentle tingling at the back of his mind. caffinated_tulip Marisole didnt really want to stop in Yukiko's room. She wanted to go to hers, it seemed very important to her to get to her room as soon as possible. Of course she didnt really want to rock the boat. These Rosin seemed to know what was going on around here alot better than she did. She nodded in agreement. "Okay, what ever you guys want to do" and tossed a few strands of hair infront of her face. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai nodded to the others. She guessed she could check out her room as well, she didn't know why though. "Ok, meet back by the playroom when we're done?" Chie Yukiko nodded, "Alright then, sounds good." He turned and made his way back to the main building, up the stairs and to his room. He didn't want to take too long and have the others waiting for him. caffinated_tulip Without saying much at all Marisole wandered away from the other two Rosin. She couldn't quite remember where her room was but trusted her feet to carry her along. She waved to the other two as she started up the stairs.
"I'll see you later".

When Lorelai returns home again, she will find a small package waiting for her on her bed, wrapped in blue paper with purple ribbon. On the inside she will find pair of pretty green butterfly hair clips. There is a note underneath them that reads
" Where them and look,
up into the sky,
and wish for a friend,
to come stop on by."
If Lorelai wears the hairclips, and wants for a friend to arrive, a giant green jade butterfly will fly in from the sky and land near her. With no words, she will get that it will want her to ride it, and it will take Lorelai skywards. Unfortunately it can only be around for an hour before it will leave, and it can only come in once per day. It will at least land to put Lorelai down safely.

Dear Diary,
I met some other rosins a while back. They were nice. We played on the swings! Then Marisole, thats the girl, said it was too hot so we decided to go inside. Yukiko, the boy, wanted to check out his room, so that's where we went.
I had a present! It's a beautiful butterfly hairclip! I put it right on. I have a feeling that it is something special.
I have to meet my friends at the playroom. So bye!

~Botanical Gardens Rp July 1st - Aug 3rd~ Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai wandered around the city until she came to a dome of glass. She was used to seeing metal buildings, so this was worth a check out.
The first thing she noticed when she entered was the humidity and the wonderful smell. She didn't mind being moist, actually made her feel good. She walked a few more feet and saw where the smell was coming from, flowers! This place was an indoor garden! caffinated_tulip Marisole enjoyed her mysterious pot that grew flowers but nothing could compare to being around Real flowers. The kind that grew out of the ground. When she walked into the botanical gardens she felt the warm humid air surrounding her and opening her up. She just wanted to burry herself in the ground up to her waist and let the dirt and the humidity do its trick. Instead she settled for sticking her toes into the dirt.
As she made herself comfortable she tossed back one of her thick strands of hair and noticed the blue girl. Lorelai? That was her name. She was a good person. Shyly, Marisole waved. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai was looked at a blue flower when she heard someone enter behind her. She turned around to see Marisole waving at her. "Hi!" Lorelai said as she walked over to her. "It's nice in here, isn't it?" She bet Marisole loved in here, being a plant rosin. caffinated_tulip "Oh, yes" Marisole said quietly, peering out from behind her thick locks "it's..good. very good." She poked a near by orchid and smiled. "I'm growing some of these in my room" She noted that Lorelai was very colorful, as were the flowers.
"Are you a flower rosin?" she asked. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai smiled, "Yes, it's really nice in here." She looked at the orchids, "Really? They are really pretty. I love all the flowers!"
She shook her head at the last question. "Nope, animal rosin. A poison dart frog to be exact." She nodded her head and smiled. caffinated_tulip "Oh..."said marisole, not quite sure what exactly a "poison dart" frog was but pleased that the "frog" part explained her feet.
"Im... um.. I'm a mushroom. A psychotropic mushroom" she grinned and tried to remember the pun "I guess you could say im a Fun-guy!" she paused again "or girl". Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai nodded, "Neat!" She laughed at the joke, but didn't really get it. She didn't want to be rude and not laugh.
Lorelai looked at some pretty pink flowers and smiled, "These are pretty. I want to find blue ones though." caffinated_tulip Okay" said Marisole, standing up slowly. "We'll find you some blue ones. To match you!" She looked around the gardens, having not spent much time there before she didnt know where to look.
"Do you know your way around here? " Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai smiled, "Yay!" She looked around and then back at Marisole. "No, this is my first time in here. We could just walk around and see what we find." They were sure to stumble on some blue flowers eventually. caffinated_tulip Marisole got up and started walking down the path. There were flowers of every different size and shape there. Great big round ones, small frilly ones. Marisole liked it here. It was good, very good. The air was warm and humid, the way she liked it. The light was a bit to bright but that was okay, she was learning to get used to light.
"So...do you..have..." she searched her mind for the right word "Friends?". Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai ohhhed and awwwed the flowers all around them. This was quickly becoming her favorite place to be. She liked the humidity and it was just beautiful.
Lorelai turned to Marisole and frowned, "Um....I thinks so?" She had met a few rosins, but really had only seen them one time....does that count? Sago Dogann Keshi quietly wandered into the gardens. She could hear voices in the distance but decided not to bother them. Her geta clicked on the stone walkway as she wandered around looking for the lotus blossoms. The warmth felt good on her skin so Keshi smiled. caffinated_tulip Thats good" marisole said, examining the petals of a particularly nice orange flower beside her. "I... I guess you're really the only other rosin I know... you and... um.. the pale one" she said, having forgotten Yukiko's name entirely.
Marisole heard the clicking and looked up. She noticed the very elegant woman in the distance but decided not to mention it. More people tended to cause problems, or so she thought at least. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai nodded, "I don't really know very many rosins. I have only seen you twice, but I count all I have met as friends." She wondered if that was bad.
She heard the footsteps and looked up. The older rosin looked famaliar. Did she know her when she was smaller? Sago Dogann While Keshi was wandering through the garden she noticed someone she haden't seen in a very long time. At least she was pretty sure it was Lorelai. Keshi gently waved and called out "Lorelai?" Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai turned at the sound of her name. Was that really Keshi? "Yes?" She said with a questioning in her voice. "Keshi?" Keshi was so much older than she had been when she met her by the lake. caffinated_tulip Marisole didnt really know what to do about this new person. But since Lorelai seemed to know her she must be okay.
"Who is she?" she asked in a stage whisper "Is she..." Marisole paused, searchign for the right word "good?" Sago Dogann Keshi giggled with delight. "Lorelai is that you? Keshi called out with glee. She quickly and loudly shuffled over to her old friend trying not to trip on her Kimono. Keshi's Smile widened with every step.When she arrived Keshi giggled, quickly covered her mouth and bowed. SkieBorne Daemos slowly entered the Botanical Gardens, blinking in surprise as the wonderful fragrance of flowers enveloped him. Digging his bare feet into the soft lawn, the stingray rosin wrapped his arms about himself and leaned over a bed of lillies. Their smell was thick about them and it made him sneeze, causing the almost dye-like polled to smudge across a cheek. Blinking he stepped back and rubbed at his nose furiously, clearing the smell.
It was warm and moist. A good place to explore. He was doing a lot of that lately and wondered if anyone else was about. He hadn't seen Krait for a few days and was beginning to grow lonely. Sago Dogann As Keshi finished her bow she heard someone sneeze in the distance. Keshi quickly spun around to see the new person. With much ease she got tangled up in her Kimono and let out a loud yelp. Lying on the ground she looked up at Lorelai and said "Um Hi. Long time no see." Lorelai~Rosin "She is Keshi, and she is good." Lorelai said with a big smile.
"Hi!" Lorelai said as she tripped, "You ok? You're sooo big!" She hadn't known anyone who hade grown before. Sago Dogann Keshi giggled and said "ya Im ok but still clutzy as ever." She slowly got back up to her feet and started to brush herself off. Keshi looked up while dusting herself off and said "How have you been? Have you done anything exciting? Um didn't I hear someone sneeze?" Keshi proceded to look around and saw a dark haired girl and a boy in the distance that she didn't recognise " Was it one of you?" she said with a smile. SkieBorne Daemos, while the two girls had been conversing, looked over curiously. He hadn't seen anyone else before now.... maybe it was because the vegetation had been blocking his view? Either way, he smiled as the taller of the two made eye contact, waving slightly. "Sneeze?" The boy laughed merrily, "That's was me. That flower is sticky." He pointed at the lily he'd stuck his nose into before making his way over the girls. Tail and hair swishing behind him, he offered another friendly smile along with his name.
"Hello! I'm Daemos! I haven't seen you before!" His introduction was cheerful and open, trusting. Sago Dogann Keshi smiled at the new boy and plesently said " It's pleasure to meet you. How are you doing today?" Keshi then realised she had not introduced Lorelai. Blushing she spoke "This is my friend Lorelai." SkieBorne Daemos merely smiled at that, turning his wave and smile on Lorelai as well. "Nice to meet you! I'm good. It was hot outside so I went looking for shade." He nodded as if in confirmation of his words. The wrist straps of his shirt slipped, pulled up his arm by his movements and he frowned, turning his attention to the restrictive garment. Tugging down, he inadvertently revealed the reason for his odd shirt - an extension of skin and muscle between his inner arm and side of torso; a mimicry of a sting-ray's graceful wings.
When the shirt finally settled properly, Daemos made a sigh of relief and looked back up at the taller female. "Are you here because it's hot outside too?" caffinated_tulip Marisole snapped back to reality after starring off into the distance for a while. She regarded the new boy and his unusual arm flaps.
"What are those?" she asked, tactless as usual. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai smiled at the new boy. "Hi! Nice to meet you." She looked at his arms with Marisole and wondered the same thing, but would never dare and ask. Sago Dogann Keshi looked back to Demos and said "I like it in hear. I'm not sure wht but it feels safe in here. Kinda how I noticed Lorelai looks when she is at the lake." Keshi noticed the flaps but tryed not to stare. She was so excited to meet new people she started to shuffle back and forth clicking her geta on the stone. SkieBorne He flashed a grin at Lorelai, eyes bright. "Nice to meet you too!"
Daemos blinked and looked up as somebody he didn't recognize spoke, frowning slightly as though somebody had prodded him hard. "I... what?" He was confused. The stingray was totally at ease with himself but having three people stare was more then a little disconcerting. Fidgeting, he cast his eyes down and folded arms so that they couldn't see the webbing, obviously self-conscious.
"My... wings." He said quietly. That was how the book had described the stingrays. They had muscular wings with which they could glide through the water. Was it something he should worry about? His gazed flicked up to the others, unsure of himself.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to have come here? caffinated_tulip "...wings" Marisole repeated, letting the word fall out of her mouth. "They're very...neat. Not many er...people have wings like that. Not weird. Just cool" she squeezed each word out as though it were slightly painfull. She wasnt used to speaking infront of this many people. Lorelai was fine but these two new people were making her nervous.
"Like my hair" she picked up a think strand and let it fall, each dread-like section was actually one thick and spongey piece of hair, coated in a slick shiny substance. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai smiled. She had never been around sooo many rosins at once. It was a bit overwhelming, but nice at the same time. "I like the moisture." Lorelai said to Keshi comment about the gardens.
"Those are neat." Lorelai said about his wings. "Can you fly?" That was the only kind of wings that Lorelai had ever heard of. SkieBorne Daemos gazed at Mariosole, an unsure smile returning to his lips. While her words were pleasant, her manner in speaking them confused the boy. "Thank-you." It took a moment for him to recover his genuine smile but he did and he blinked, looking at Lorelai.
"Fly?" He shook his head, flapping his experimentally. It didn't feel right and he didn't feel like he was flying, "No..." He pointed to his gills, expression softening as he remembered the experience of first learning to swim and breathe underwater.
He spread his arms and moved them as he did underwater, their motions emphasized by the fabric of his shirt into a rolling, undulating movement that would cut cleanly and quickly through water. "I swim!" He beamed, the idea sounding appealing. Daemos had rather enjoyed his trip to the lake with Krait. His tail swished back and forth idly as his gaze shifted from one Rosin to the next.
He liked the attention... but it was a bit much. It made him nervous. Sago Dogann Keshi thought for a moment and spoke. " I don't think Im a big fan of swimming. It makes my skin feel weird when I get wet. But I like to sit in the sun be the lake and watch the water. Um Daemos what do you like to do?" Keshi smiled and began to feel relaxed. Lorelai~Rosin "Wow!" Lorelai said as she watched his wings move. She seemed entranced by their movements. She snapped herself out of it when he mentioned swimming. "Oh, I like swimming!" SkieBorne He perked back up some more and and tapped his chin as he thought of the answer to Keshi's question, "I like swimming and puzzles and shrimp!" He grinned, happy to answer the older Rosin.
Daemos' expression was cheerful and appreciative as Lorelai spoke up, "I really like swimming! Do you hold your breath?" He asked inquisitively. He didn't need to but Krait had so maybe others did too? He wouldn't be able to speak with them underwater... he frowned a bit at that. Oh well! They could play the pantomime game instead. That had been fun!
He grinned once more, adding to his list, "And I like it here. It's not too hot or dry as you're nice people." caffinated_tulip "Ive never been swimming" Marisole said, quietly and to no one in particular. "I think it would be very difficult".
"Yes.. there are nice peole here, although some not nice things happened not long ago. That was not good..." her voice trailed off as she muttered to herself, quite oblivious to everyone around her. She looked at Daemos "Puzzles? We should do a puzzle! Ive never done one but they look like alot of fun" her voice had an unusual amount of enthusiasm. Yes, puzzles. She wouldnt have to talk if they did a puzzle. Then everyone wouldnt look at her funny. They would all look at the pieces. Lorelai~Rosin "Yeah, I do. You don't have to?" That sounded pretty neat. Not having to breathe underwater ment you could stay under longer and explore more.
Lorelai turned to Marisole, "Oh, a puzzle does soud fun!" She didn't think there were any near them though... Sago Dogann Keshi looked over to Marisole and said " I dont think I have ever done a puzzle before. Do you have one?" Keshi smiled with excitment at the idea of doing something new. SkieBorne Daemos nodded, "No... I-" He cut himself off as they all seemed to want to play with a puzzle. But he didn't have one. Pursing his lips he looked around for a moment before walking off a little ways and collecting some twigs - snapping them so they were roughly the same size.
Returning he smiled at them, "I've got a puzzle!" Without much explanation, he laid the twigs out in three rows, seven on the top row, five in the middle, and three on the bottom. "There! You play with someone else. We each take twigs - up to three, but they must be on the same line. If you take the last twig, you lose." He looked up. That was one his favourite puzzles because it was different every time.
"Is this okay?" Sago Dogann Keshi thought for a bit and spoke" this is more than ok." With a giggle she grabed 2 sticks from the row of 7. " It's your turm now right?' Keshi said with a smile. - - - - - - - - - - - - - SkieBorne He nodded, "Yup!" Daemos pursed his lips as he thought and then cheerfully took 3 sticks from the middle row. "You again." He grinned and waited for her to take more sticks.

- - - Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai watched the two playing and then got bored. This was not the kind of puzzle she thought they had meant. Lorelai yawned loudly, "I think I'm going to go. Nice meeting you and seeing you two again." Lorelai smiled and then walked away...she was ready for a nap.

Dear Diary,
I saw a few friends from before today. I saw Marisole and Keshi. Keshi is a teenager now! She so big and very pretty. We met up at the Botanical Gardens. I really like that place, even more than the lake. It's hot and sticky and beautiful!
I also met a new rosin, named Daemos. He has wings! Not normal wings to fly with, but wings inbetween his arms he uses to swim with. Maybe I'll see him again and we'll go swimming?
Anyway, it was a fun day and now I need a nap!

~ BBQ RP Main Park July 13- ??~ [The Nameless One] The Barbeque
A huge long wooden bench table has been set up in the park, covered in a dark green table cloth. The table holds an entire smorgasbord of food, from every kind of salad, to different kinds of breads, and a variety of diced vegetables. Up one end of the table sits stacks of plates and cutlery, and at the opposite end, a bowl of tropical punch with cups and cans of sodas The wafting smell of cooked meat fills the air as you notice that DJ Rock is standing in front of a wide barbeque, wearing a chef’s hat and apron, and holding a cooking utensil in each hand. He sways back and forth to the rhythm of what ever is playing on his head set. The barbeque itself has a pair of arms and legs, obviously a creation of Sparks, and is helping DJ Rock flip the burgers, steaks, chops, sausages, chicken and fish. Sparks and The Nameless one are standing to the side with drinks, discussing about the city, and many constructs are idley hanging around to help out where needed. Off to the side there’s a large cubed basket, which holds a variety of outdoor items such as balls, towels, kites, Frisbees and water guns.Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai was attracted to the smell of the barbeque. She wandered over and her eyes widened. "Wow!" It looked so cool. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do first, so she went to the punch and took a cup. Krista_Darkangel_Silme Sorya stop at the gate looking over at the party. Holding PomPom in her arms she pets her puppy shaking her head alittle. She wish she had manage to get her older sister to come to the party, but for some reason she backed out saying she wasn't feeling well. Brushing at her pants she glance around trying to figure out where she wanted to go first. She didn't see anyone she knew, not that that would have stopped her in the first place. Lorelai~Rosin Lorelai drank a bit of punch and smiled. It was pretty good. She turned around to see if anyone was joining her when she saw a girl with pompoms. Lorelai smiled wider and waved, "Hi!"
