It's kind of a good thing the cover went through slight changes before the final product. I really don't see what Fiona would have to do with the current 'Evil Sonic trying to pimp the ladies of Knothole'...well, unless she was one of them and we don't know about it
razz (man, Tails would be TICKED...).
I did have a good chuckle at the cover, though . Just the fact that the words "Play on Playa" appeared on an Archie comic is hilarious. Plus I can just hear Sonic letting out a good "Giggety giggety giggety!".
I'm still trying to let the sudden Sonic/Bunnie pairing sink in...They certainly crammed that little aspect in, eh?
Except Fiona was replaced with Rouge... who wasn't even
in the story. At least the original cover was slightly more relavent to the issue (and didn't have Sonic grinning like an idiot; NOW it looks like he's happy because he's rubbing Rouge's thigh or something.
xd ). Plus, even if she didn't get hit on, she'd probably be annoyed at Sonic for his horndoggity. (Or maybe she's mad she
didn't get hit on! OMG LOVE PENTAGON)
I thought "Play on Playa" was just another poor attempt by the comic writers to appear hip and cool. Although I will give them mad props if they make a cover featuring Shadow or Knuckles with the line "Shadow/Knux be a BUSTAH!"
xd And of course, Sonic letting out a "Giggety giggety giggety" would just be golden. It would be like a self-parody.
whee And I doubt the Sonic/Bunnie pairing will come to anything... UNLESS, of course, they've (as in the previous editor) decided to now foist upon us a Sonic/Bunnie/Real Antoine triangle, which I just all of a sudden thought of, and it's a nasty thought.
