Journal Entry I've been hell bent on cleaning up my house and taking my new addition around where ever I go in my house, making sure I keep a good eye on it. It's met my new husband already, though I don't know what it thinks about him yet, I'm sure it'll grow to love him just the same. Also it has come to my realization that my SM is the last of its kind, that there will be no more lovely Skull Monkeys to be had in the future. Although this saddens me, this also makes me appreciate my little addition so much more (not like it wasn't appreciated before this.) I wonder how that bit of information will affect my SM's life in the future, I guess I'll worry about that later. Eep! I think I should go clean some more, and finish setting up his or her room.

Today X was woken up by an over excited Adok, fluttering and talking rapidly around her head, tugging on her hair until she finally grumbled herself out of bed and tried to regain consciousness. Blinking at Adok, she finally plucked him out of the air and held him in front of her face.
"Adok! What the ******** is going on?!"
Adok huffed for a second before answering in as little words as possible it seemed, pointing wildly towards the wall.
"The rock with a tail!! It's alive... and he tried to eat me!"
After a bit of comprehending, she finally realized what he was talking about, her SkullMonkey... had it really grown? Letting go of Adok's wings, she threw the covers off and tore out of her room towards her SM's, ignoring Adok's angry shouts about how the b*****d tried to eat him. She stopped in the doorway of the SM's room, seeing no sign of the furry animal save the broken pebble shell that had been discarded on the bed. Hearing a squeak that seemed to chortle with some sort of happiness, she looked up towards the light fixture and saw the pink and yellow fluffball, haning from the light fixture grinning tiredly at her.
"You sleep late."
He stated simply as she reached up and carefully plucked him from the light, carrying him down and cradling him in her arms smiling wide, she couldn't wait to show him to Monkey, though he'd probably be jealous anyways, he should be happy for her.
"Bad habit of mine... Are you hungry...."
Name... what was his name? Oh s**t, he still needed a name, being a noname would not suit her little prince, even though he did kind of remind her of a slushie. Mmm... slushies... Snap out of it! This is serious!
After rambling to herself for a while she finally decided that since he did look like a slushie, maybe she should name him after one... maybe 'Slush' perhaps? So after that long pause, X finally finished her thought.
"...Slush?"
He looked like he was thinking for a moment, his little face scrunched up in concentration and his tail tucked in his front paws. After a while, his face relaxed and he smiled.
"Slush...I like that... I bet none of the others have a name that cool."
X sighed in relief, giving him a light hug as not to crush him. Hah, crush Slush... This made her laugh, well chuckle, as the two of us (Adok had seemed to have gone missing) made are way into the her room.
"I'm so happy. You can call me Mom, Mommy, or any variation that you think suits me..."
Slush smiled and held onto his tail, nibbling on the tip of it happily as he curled up in her arms.
"Okay Mum... can I have some apple pie?"
Damn, I never eat apple pie, much less keep it in me and Monkey's house. Maybe he'll have some, or better yet... Maybe I'll just find some at the SM headquarters, they're bound to have some there. Besides Slush needs to meet QS anyways, might as well be now.
"You can have as much as you want when we go to visit QS, I promise."
So they packed up their things, or rather, X packed up her things and he crawled up in her emo bag that she had discarded long ago on her dresser counter. Every once and a while he'd peek out and watch her pack, but every time she looked over at him, he ducked back into his hiding spot with a muffled giggle. In the end she just took him in the emo bag, carefully hooking it over her shoulder so that it wouldn't fall, and set off for SM headquarters.

Journal Entry Well I finally managed to find some apple pie for my little Doom Slushy. Apparently my husband adores apple pie and his been stashing some in the back of the fridge to hide from me... even though I rather loathe apple pie... But anyways, long story short is that Slush is very much stuffed with apple pie and asleep, and now my husband needs to refill his stash. Speaking of Monkey, he hasn't really been around lately and therefore he hasn't gotten a chance to meet Teh Slushmiester. Which reminds me, Slush heard me say " Slushy of Doooom" yesterday and now he chortles "doooom" everytime I pet him or snuggle him, basically everytime I attack him with affection. heart Speaking of affection, I need to talk to QS about buying those chicky slippers and some emo glasses, since there seemed to be some sort of power outage or something last night and I couldn't get the trade to her. Oh dammit, Adok's throwing one of his rage fits about Slush and how he's a "mean ******** b*****d who should be shot and used as a rug." That boy's lucky he's got wings and a place in my heart. Hopefully he'll get over his selfishness soon, I'm sure once he calms down he'll begin to like Slush, and even hang out with him, even though that will probably mean getting into a lot of trouble. God knows I love him, but damn that screaming fairy.

X bobbed her head and moved her hips to the beat of the music that was playing on the stereo as she cleaned up Adok and Monkey's recent mess. It was a known fact that Adok loved to torment Monkey just as much as his owner does, and apparently, last night Adok had taken his anger out on her poor husband. Looking over at the shelves, she smirked at 10 gallon tank with a mesh top that had been resurected to serve as an Adok prison apparently. Monkey had even gone as far as to put a dictionary on top of the lid, just to make sure that Adok couldn't get out and terrorize him while he slept.
"It's your fault you're in there you know..."
This produced an angry string of curses to echo from inside of the tank, along with the rattling of the lid and a few more angry shouts. Sighing softly, she shook her head and looked off towards the other side of the living room, where Slush was curled up on Monkey's bean bag, looking over at the tormented Adok, and trying to hide his laughter. X caught the look and tried to hide her smirk and do the motherly thing.
"Slush... Adok... You two best start getting along, or else I'll create some trouble of my own around here... and it won't be pretty."
And before either of them could protest, she cut them off abruptly.
"And I don't care who's 'fault' it is, just fix it together mkay?"
The two exchanged glances, Adok glaring and Slush going wide eyed and quiet. After a bit of staring, the two of them nodding and seemingly agreeing to her 'terms.' After their forced agreements, she took the dictionary and the lid off of the tank, and Adok immediately zipped out of his 'cage' cursing and hurling himself towards his 'room'. X just shook her head and rolled her eyes, scooping up Slush and walking back to her and Monkey's room.
"Poor Adok..."

I accidentally deleted this somehow, so I hafta fix it up. Later that night. monkie is sexy: *Monkey sneaks up behind X and kisses the back of her ear.* Hey babbbeh. Xannyl3ear: Babbbeh? Xannyl3ear: *She chuckled and turned around, giving him a quick kiss on the lips.* monkie is sexy: *He smiles and kisses her back.* How's it goin? I havn't seen you ina while. And I havn't been able to meet Slush yet... Your little fairy boy I've seen though.... Xannyl3ear: *The brightly colored fluff ball in her arms peered up at the strange man who some how smelled familar, after a bit of scrunching his face up in thought, his eyes finally sprung open and he squealed, clapping his paws together.* Apple pie!! monkie is sexy: *He laughed a little then his face went straight and his mouth hung open with understanding.* That's where my apple pie went!!! I mean... Ummm... What? I don't smell like Apple Pie... I havn't had any in a long long time.. How's it going little man? *He said trying to bring up a new subject.* Xannyl3ear: I'm not little...I'm doooom. *He beamed up at Monkey as he rolled over onto his back, bringing his tail up in his paws and nibbling on the tip absentmindedly.* I love apple pie... it's mine. monkie is sexy: We'll see about that... Apple pie is the only other thing I will not share. Aside from your mom. *He smiked and looked up at X.* Xannyl3ear: She's mine too... MY mommy. *Slush grinned and nuzzled against X's chest, chortling happily as she began to scratch behind his ears with a smirk.* Best learn to share love. monkie is sexy: Yeah, I know... We can share apple pie and mommy... But not with anyone else. Just you and me alright? Not even mommy can have some of herself without asking. *He said as he puts his hands on X's hips.* Xannyl3ear: *She shot him a look that said that they would talk about this later, before she smiled and began to scratch Slush's belly. He just nodded and crooned, kicking his back paw in happiness.* Doooom. monkie is sexy: *He gave a look of "oh s**t" then looked down at Slush and started to scratch his belly along with X. He started to like the little guy... Wait, my bad... Little doom.* Xannyl3ear: *Slush wrapped his paws around his fingers and began to nibble on the closest finger, suckling as he began to fall asleep in X's arms.* monkie is sexy: *He laughed a little watching Slush then looked into X's eyes. His fingers that weren't being held down still scratching his belly lightly.* Xannyl3ear: I think it's bedtime for teh Slushimiester... Can you put him in his room love? *She transferred the bright ball of fur into his arms, giving him a quick couple of kisses before heading to their bedroom.* Just meet me in our bedroom. monkie is sexy: *He looked down at the now sleeping Slush in his arms and held him more securely. Then he looked up at her and smiled after enjoying the couple of kisses and nodding in agreement to what she told him to do.* I can do that. *He said as he slightly rocked Slush in a lulling way into his room and put Slush in his bed after a quick kiss on the forehead then whispered his goodnight.* Night lil doom. * Turning around he walked into his and X's bedroom, leaving Slush's door slightly open.*

Journal Entry Aside from the occasional scuffle between Adok and Slush, or Adok and Monkey, everything has been pretty 'normal' around here. And by normal I mean normal considering a infant is being housed here with a disgruntled Cloud Fairy and an overly horny husband. That's why I keep sneaking out of the house with Slush most days, leaving things to be handled by Monkey for the most part. Let's just say I've heard a lot of crashing noises and cursing coming from the house as of late, and that's why I perfer the garden. There's a huge fruit garden on my property, apparently before I was turned I used to love gardening and nature, so I helped take care of the family orchard. We have apples, peaches, pears, cherries, a whole shleugh of berries, and we even have grapes. I love grapes, as does Adok. Give him grape juice and he'll be puddy in your hands, then again, he also acts drunk when he drinks it sometimes... weird cloud fairy. Anyways, that's where Slush and I are headed to right now, I packed a picnic lunch for us two, stealing some more of Monkey's apple pie for Slush in the process. Eep! Monkey's screams followed by a thump are definately my cue to leave.

Journal Entry
Mum let me type in her journal, I like it because it fixes everything automatically, which is good because I'm not so good at writing yet and it's hard to type with paws. But I'm getting better at it. Mum says she's going to take me to Headquarters today so I can meet some other SMs like myself. And apparently there's a big lake I can play in too. I love water. I tried to jump into the shower the other day, but Mum and Dad weren't so happy about that one... They were only in their 'fur' and they were really close together. And then they threw me out. I was sad for a moment, but I figured it was just too crowded, so that's okay. Mum says my computer time is up, so I'm going to go. Bye bye!

Slush's first trip to HQ ((Isto meetage. heart )) XBear Moofuls ((Psh, come on in ^_^ Stop Isto from drowning. SAVE MY BABY crying )) ((I'd try, but all Slush is good for is being cutsy, and attacking my Cloud Fairy while still keeping an innocent aura.)) *Slush ran ahead of X at the sounds of voices and the sight of water. Once he reached the shoreline he immediately pounced into the water and began to swim out towards the lone figure, squealing happily and splashing up as much water as he could, ignorant to the ongoings around him.* *X ran after the bright pink fur ball, damn he's fast for his size. Stopping only after she saw that there was someone in the water in case her little Slushmiester started to drown, she began to try and catch her breath, also oblivious to what had been going on before they had arrived.* Moofuls ((Yeah, prolly ;D Too bad it's not raining

Without bothering to turn around, Isto chuckled softly, shaking his head. "I already told you.. Don't apologize. You didn't do anything wrong. I.... I'm not sure when everything changed, but lately... I'm more trouble than I'm worth." He paused, then shrugged, continuing out into the water. "Even heros lose sometimes." He abruptly fell silent at the sound of a splash, whirling around for its source. He sigh. Great, it was an infant..and it's owner was out here too. So much for suicide... Though, despite his mood, Isto couldn't help but smile faintly. Chuckling, he ducked under the water, edging around beneath the surface before poping up beside Slush, splashing some water at him. XBear *Slush squealed and splashed him back, this guy looked like a shark underwater with his bright green mohawk, and he very much liked the color of it. It was bright like he was. Swimming a bit closer to the 'shark', Slush grappled onto his shoulder and rested for a moment, a bit tired from running away from Mummy and then swimming out this far.* Sharkie! I'm Slush... ((Sorry took so long, stupid computer.)) Moofuls ((Isto: o_o; *Has stalkers*

The liddle SM climbed onto his shoulder, and Isto straightened up, laughing. The water only came up to about his waist where they were, so he wasn't particularly worried about sinking. He laughed, "Sharkie, hmm? Well, it's nice t'meetcha, Slush. I'm Isto." XBear Okay Isto... I like 'Sharkie' better meself. *The little fluffball pondered for a moment before grinning happily and shaking out his fur, almost falling off of Isto's shoulder in the process. Wow this guy was tall like Mummy, only, she didn't have a tail that matched her hair, or rather, she didn't have a tail at all.* Why do you have a tail like me if you look like Mummy? Moofuls ((You're probably right.... *Right* Too bad, that'd be interesting xDDD
*Watches the supermodels drag Isto away* Of course, you can never be sure...))
Still laughing softly, Isto lowered himself in the water until only his shoulders and head were clear. He shrugged slightly, grinning. "To each his own. You can call me Sharkie if y' want to." He blinked at the little SM, then once again laughed. Wow, thank God for kids, eh? "I'm a Skull Monkey too! I'm just a fifth stage, so I look like a human, almost." XBear Wow! That's sooo cool! I want to be a fifth stage too... *Slush let his tail dip back into the water before flipping up and flapping Isto in the ear with it, a muffled giggle escaping his lips.* Whoopsies... *X had already taken a seat on a nearby rock, and was watching every so often to check on Slush, not really too worried since several other SMs were there.* Moofuls ((Are you...insulting my mohawk? o_o;;

Isto grinned dangerously, mock growling at the little SM. "Oh, you're gonna pay for that..." He took a quick breath, then ducked backwards beneath the water, swimming out from under Slush to resurface nearby. XBear *Slush's eyes grew wide but before he could realize what was happening, his little 'island' dissappeared along with Isto causing him to drop under the water. Sputtering, Slush resurfaced and looked over at Isto, recovering from the initial surprise, he began to swim back over to him, cautiously and playfully this time.* Dooooom's gonna getcha! ((*Chases after Isto with a shiny neon green man thong.* Come back here!)) Moofuls ((Isto: O_O;; *Flatly refuses to wear a thong* *FLEEEEEEEEES*

Grinning cheekily, Isto backed away from the younger SM, moving just fast enough to stay out of Slush's reach. He shakes his head, flashing a toothy grin. "Not if th' sharks get you first!" And with that he ducked beneath the surface and swam out deeper into the lake, cirling around behind the yellow patched SM. XBear *Slush stopped and watched Sharkie's 'fin' circle him, waiting for the right moment to swim at him. Once Isto passed him from behind, the little SM started to paddle as fast as he could, putting him right in the path of the mohawk, which he immediately latched onto.* Doooom wins! Moofuls ((Isto: *Wraps himself in a blanket* T__T I feel violated.
Moo: n_n *Pats her mohawk*

Something latched onto his mohawk, and Isto straightened up, peering at the infant SM who was clinging to his head. He cracked up laughing, and probably would have doubled over had 1) there not been a young SM on his head and 2)he not be in water up to his waist. Still laughing, he began wading back to shore, leaving Slush up on his head. "You win." XBear We'll duh... but you still have cool hair. *Slush peered down over Isto's forehead and grinned, making sure to hold onto his mohawk so he didn't fall off. Shaking his fur off, he chortled happily to himself as he got a free ride back to land.* Moofuls ((Isto: T____T *Clings to the blanket* But I'm cold!))
"Why thank you," Isto managed to reply, still laughing softly. In less than a minute he'd reached the shore, and reached up his metal hand, scooping Slush off his head. However, he merely deposited the yellow patched SM on his shoulder. He was much more used to having someone ride there than his head.... Isto glanced sideways to Slush, then nodded towards XBear. "She your mum?" XBear *X saw the two of them approaching and smiled, she was happy Slush had found a friend.* Yep, she's cool too, she has lot's o' metal through her skin, and she's really nice. *He adjusted himself so that he was more comfortable on Isto's shoulder, looking down at the metal arm in awe, forgetting what he was going to say for a minute before speaking again.* She steals her husband's apple pie for me... *But his attention span didn't hold for long.* And your arm is cool too! More metal than mummy! Moofuls ((Isto: T__T! *Snatches the blanket back, wraps it around himself, and RUNSLIKEHECK*))
'She steals her husband's apple pie for me...' And Isto was laughing again. Wow, it felt good to laugh. Isto hadn't had a good laugh in...a while. Everything was always so serious or depressing..what happened to funny?? Where was the happy?? He couldn't help but grin faintly as his arm was complemented. "More metal than mommy, hmm? Don't think I've ever met anyone else with metal...limbs." XBear ((*Tackles him to the ground with a growl.*)) *He didn't get what was so funny, but smiled because Sharkie was happy. He liked his metal arm, it was different, and it made him uber-special. Slush liked this guy, he was fun to hang out with, and he was a fifth stage! Oh how he wanted to be a fifth stage.* Me neither, that's why you're even cooler. Mummy pays for metal to be put through her... I think she calls 'em "piercings".... I want one but she won't let me till I'm older... Says I'm 'still growing'... Moofuls ((Isto: *Squished* o_o; *Fears for his life*))
"Ohh, I gotcha." Isto nodded, finally understanding the whole thing with the metal. "My brother Jack has his ears pierced a few times. S'alright, but I don't want any piercings... I think I've got enough metal on me." They had reached XBear, who, Isto knew, had been watching them the entire time. So, as he was in a good mood, he decided to over-dramaticise the entire circumstance. Scooping Slush from his shoulder, he threw a highly exagerated bow, holding the infant towards his owner and grinning cheekily. "I have saved your child from the evil lake sharks, miss." XBear Oh why thank you, kind sir. *She smiled and scooped up Slush carefully from Isto's hands and moving him to the crook of her other bent arm. Holding out the scooping hand, she introduced herself.* I'm X, the Doominator's Mum... *Slush just squealed happily in his mother's arms, making sure to rub as much of the water off of him and onto her chest, nuzzling against her. Waving up at Sharkie, he crossed his eyes and made a face.* ((Sorry took so long, computer issues. *Snatches blanket and burns it.* Bwahahaha!)) "Happy to help, miss," Isto replied, shaking her hand. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Isto, Moo's....son. Have you met her?" Almost immediately after speaking, he dropped the formal act, shaking the water from his mohawk and making a face at Slush.
XBear ((*Blinks, and then begins to sob and wail.* Noooo.... the smecksah... *Plucks him up by the scruff of his neck and nuzzles him.* Snuggle SM!)) I do believe I have, informally... *She laughed as the two of them kept making various faces at eachother before Slush poked her in the breast several times and whispered loudly to Isto.* She has metal here too... but don't tell anyone... *Her eyes got wide and her mouth gaped somewhat, not from him telling Isto, but because somehow he had found out.* How did you...? I mean... Oh nevermind.Moofuls ((*Isto: *Squirms* *Sighs*...*Snuggles* v.v))
Isto was trying to think up another strange face when Slush spoke. He blinked... then had to fight to choke back a laugh, grinning down at the SM in X's arms. "I don't -think- Jack has metal there... But who knows? I've never looked."
.....Betcha he did.
((Jack: *sticks a post-it note on the fridge reminding himself to kill Isto*)) XBear ((*Scratches behind his ear.* Hah, I win.)) *Slush grinned with pride as he saw Isto trying to choke back his laughter, encouraging him to continue on, ignoring his mother's mutters.* Apparently that metal is really fun and makes Mummy really happy... *X just sat there stunned, where the hell did this kid find this stuff out? A look of realization crossed her features, followed by a slightly embarassed one. Slush had snuck into her shower the other night, one of the nights where she had been having a bit of... 'help' from her husband while she showered. Whoops.* You know what makes me happy? The water and playing with you Sharkie. Moofuls ((Isto: n_n Not entirely! Woooo, too much information. Isto managed an apologetic glance at X before he cracked up laughing, tears springing to his eyes. After a minute or so he managed to restrain his laughter, still chuckling ever few seconds. He removed his glasses and wiped away the tears, coughing softly to prevent another wave of laughter. "I like water... sometimes. Just not deep water."

XBear *X took one look down at the innocent looking Slush, and then another back up at Isto and busted out laughing herself, not being able to stay embarassed for long with her background.* *Slush looked down at Sharkie's arm and then back up at him.* Is it heavy? It'd be hard to swim if it were heavy. Moofuls A bright grin spread across Isto's face, mostly from relief. X didn't seem embaressed...which was a very good thing, in his opinion. Embaressment made any conversation awkward. He turned his eyes back to Slush, nodding slightly. "It's very heavy... But I'm used to it, you know? 'Cept if it's underwater for too long, it stops working, and then it's just dead weight... Very hard to swim at all."

When he was younger, Isto would have probably cringed away from replying, or quickly changed the subject... But by now he was used to his arm, and merely shrugged, glancing down to it. "I was born this way. It just kinda...grew with me."
XBear *Slush's eyes grew wider, and he bounced up and down in excitement, making it hard for X to keep him from falling out of her arms.* That's SO cool Sharkie!! You've got to be the coolest SM ever! With the hair, and the arm, and ...and the bigness! *Clapping his paws together, he pulled his tail up to his mouth and began to chew on it softly, his eyes shining with utter happiness that he had gotten to meet Sharkie, who was quickly becoming his idol.* ((*She laughed and continued to pet and rub him, keeping an eye out for anything in particular he seemed to like.* Aww, so cute. Isto blinked...the laughed almost nervously, absently scratching the back of his head. "Thanks...umm... I'm really not that great, trust me. I just happen to look...different."

Isto lowered his hand back to his side, grinning faintly. He shrugged. "Well...then, thanks, I suppose. I don't get complements too often. Bein' different's...alright, some of the time." XBear *Slush yawned and nuzzled against his Mummy's chest, giving Sharkie a perplexed look before responding.* Yeah, sometimes it sucks, like being the only one to get hit in the face with potato salad.... Before Isto could react, Slush was up on his shoulder and...hugging his neck, and nuzzling his cheek. That was..rather awkward. But then, was it really? Acia would have done the same, he though. Acia and Slush were a lot alike... Probably why he liked the kid so much. He smiled faintly at Slush's words, reaching his normal hand up to scratch the infant behind his ears, nodding slightly in agreement. "Ahh, don't worry about it. Careful not to wake Slush, Isto removed the infant from his shoulder, instead resting him in the crook of his normal arm as X had done. He sighed softly, shaking his head in disgust, careful to keep his voice quiet when he spoke. "Poor kid... Aye, he's lucky to get fifth stage, but... How can they just end everything? We're not even their...species. They can't just...put a stop to our existance..." XBear Humans are weird, I mean... I used to be one, but I don't remember much of it, only bits and pieces... and a few scars.*She looked a bit saddened for a moment, but looked down at the sleeping Slush in Isto's arms and smiled softly, reaching out and scratching Slush's belly softly before continuing again.* I don't think what QS is doing is right, I mean... she's stopping breeding... So even if you find someone you love... it won't as much matter because you can't further the bond by raising children of your own. It... it just makes me sad. Isto sighed softly, following her hand to the infant SM. A faint smile touched his lips; she was right, you couldn't help but smile. But her next words seemed to touch a nerve... Isto felt his stomach, or maybe his heart(?), jump to his throat. He coughed softly, then swallowed a few times to clear his throat, nodding almost automatically. "Yeah, it.... No real families anymore, you know, and... And..." Well, he wasn't quite sure how to finish. XBear (( ninja heart )) ...It hurts.*She finished simply, not knowing if that really was his thoughts, but they was hers at the moment. She didn't know what she would do if her and her husband couldn't further their family, whether it be by adoption or by blood. It'd be a strain for a while, and it'd be a huge hole in the relationship, but things would work out. But the SM's couldn't adopt OR have kids, they were killing them... slowly. She shook her head and looked at him.* I'm sorry... If Moo's not home and you and Banda ever feel lonely, yall are both welcome at my house... kay? I'm sure Slush would love it if yall visited too...Moofuls "It hurts..." he echoed, sighing. It took him a moment to understand her next words. His thoughts were...elsewhere. But eventually he looked up, smiling weakly. "You wouldn't mind? The House gets a bit dull at times... I'd like to be able t' see Slush some more... Nice kid, and there are so few left... It's a relief, I guess." XBear Of course I wouldn't mind, you're a great guy. Just remember to keep your head up, and that it's okay to cry, but there is a future so don't waste it 'kay?*She gave him a comforting smile as she reached over and rubbed his shoulder lightly, before wrapping the arm around him and pulling him into a light hug, making sure not to disturb Slush in his sleep. He was about to reply when X pulled him into a hug... Blinking back his surprise, he smilied faintly, wrapping him free arm, which happened to be the metal one, lightly around her to return the hug. "Thanks... I think I will... I'm sure I will sooner or later, anyway. I really appreciate it... Apple pie, hmm?" He chuckled softly, stepping out of her embrace. "Slush mentioned that earlier. Isto raised his metal hand to his heart, fixing a serious expression on his face. "I'll never tell a soul." He momentarily fell silent, then gestured vaguely towards the forest. "Mine's in the forest near the House... Not that forest persay, but it may have once been part of it." He didn't bother to whisper. He wasn't being very specific, so what was the point? No one could find him if he didn't want to be found. "S'nice there... 'Cept, I was attacked by gnomes once, so it's not entirely safe..." He trail of, grinning sheepishly. "Fun, though." XBear (( heart *Snuggles Slush.*)) Knomes huh...?*She eyed up the forest suspiciously, before turning back to Isto and smiling softly. A light snorting/snoring noise came from Isto's arm, or rather it came from Slush in Isto's arm, who had apparently twitched his leg and snorted in his sleep. Her eyes drifted to the bright bundle of fur as she tried to stiffle a laugh.* Aww... You know that reminds me, whatever happened to the other SM from the last auction... Haven't heard from her since the auction...Moofuls Chuckling softly, Isto glanced down at the little infant, smiling faintly despite the sadness of X's question. "I honestly have no idea... Do you know who...her owner is?" He'd almost said won. Won her in an auction. He'd been an auction pet, and still resented it. Of course... Not that he didn't like his home. It was just the fact that he had been auctioned in the first place. "A surprising amount of SMs are just abandoned... That's what happened to Banda before Moo adopted him." XBear *She shook her head slightly, not really remembering the girl's name, just that it was the pebble she had original been bidding on, but then the girl Autoed it.* Kaeth... Isto frowned slightly, sighing and shaking his head. "I'm not sure I've ever met her...nor seen her or the pebble, for that matter. Poor kid..." XBear Tis very sad...But anyways, tell me something about you and maybe something about some of the other SMs that I nor Slush have met yet.*She moved to change the subject, the idea of an abandoned pebble making her rather sad, especially since there were many people and other SMs who would have jumped at the chance to make an addition to their family. That's why she made sure she was the best mother she possibly could be, because she was so lucky to have him... every SM owner should feel blessed, at least, that's what she thought.* Moofuls "Alright, umm...hmmm...." He frowned slightly, searching his mind for something that may interest her. "Umm... I'm...boring," he finished rather lamely, shrugging slightly and grinning. "I've done a lot...survived a lot. He smiled faintly, watching her hand, but shook his head. "Nope... well, yes and no. There's a slight pressure..but I can't feel textures. Just enough to know if it's touched." XBear Science is amazing...Oh and you're not boring, otherwise I would have left a long time ago. And look, I'm still here, and surprisingly... He'll be happy with you." XBear *She beamed and blushed softly, the reassurance on being a good mother giving her a little more confidence with what she was doing. Never had she raised a kid, nor anything that resembled one in any way, shape, or form. This was all new to her, and therefore, she wasn't her usual confident self when it came to mothering.* You really think so? I've never done the mother thing before...I was a slave for most of my life after I was turned... never really was an important thing to know how to do...Moofuls "Aye, I'm sure of it. You'll be a great mum," he grinned. But his grin quickly faded, face darkening slightly. "Slave...? Err, if you don't mind me asking, what...are you, if you're not human? XBear I'm a 'mutt' vampire, as in... when I was turned I think a mutation happened because I'm immune to sunlight, which is beside the point...*She gave him a half grin, not knowing if she'd be able to explain this to him without making it sound worse than it seemed.* Well, I was auctioned as a slave, a sex slave to be exact. Now I'm not going to lie, it wasn't horrible, I have had a lot of nice masters... In fact Monkey, my husband, was one of them at one point. It made me who I am today, so I'm not complaining... XBear I don't need, nor want pity. I wasn't a horrible life, I loved it, and that's where I met my husband. I was never once struck, nor abused, but it was a wild ride. And these...*She made a reference to her labret and many ear piercings as if she had read his mind, her lips pursing some on his judgement of her, considering he was one to judge. However, she didn't want him catching on that she could if she wanted to hear other's thoughts, though she didn't do it often.* Were done before I was turned... so it had nothing to do with me being a slave... Moofuls Aww, crap, the whole 'Hahaha, I can read your mind!' thing... No, wait, he didn't just think that. GRAHH, get out of my head! "Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it at least," he finally commented. Then, grinning cheekily, he raised and eyebrow. "All of them?" XBear *She smirked wide and looked him straight in the eyes.* All of them... Scout's honor...*With her last comment she busted out laughing, she was no longer reading his mind, as she normally hated doing it. It's a dangerous thing to know what people think, so she tries to avoid it most of the time. But in all honesty, she was really just curious as to his true thoughts of her when she told him her past. Slowing her laughter down, she spoke again.* 'Ey, sorry about the mind reading, just wanted to know what you really thought of me, won't do it again unless it's an emergency... I promise...Moofuls "Nah, don't worry about it." He grinned, shrugging. "Wish I had that ability. But you could've just asked." Isto chuckled softly, again shrugging. "In all honestly I think you're a terribly nice person, extremely opptimistic despite everything you've been through, and I'm honored that you'd let me near your child with this metal arm and mohawk." XBear Hey now, I agree with Slush here... Both your mohawk and your arm are 'cool', besides... I don't like to judge people by how they look, but I will 'judge' them through their personailty. However, I won't hate them for it, I may not like them, but I don't descriminate. Besides, it's your heart and mind that matters, not the physical stuff, that's just all there to keep the brain and heart functioning in my opinion...*She smiled and rand her fingers through her hair, shaking her head slightly.* And as far as my 'ability' goes... It's both a gift and a curse, moreso the latter, and that's why I don't use it much. Moofuls "Well, I appreciate it..." He smiled, metal hand reaching up to scratch the back of his neck. "The only person I judge by appearance is myself...and that's a terrible habit from when I was little." He paused and grimaced, watching her curiously. "I suppose it would be an annoying 'gift', eh? One of those 'too much information' kinda things... I-" He suddenly fell silent, blinking.
It was dark.
It was night.
Moo was going to SLAUGHTER him.
"Gahh, I haveta go, or Moo'll kill me... She probably will anyway, but... See, I haven't been home since yesterday morning, 'cause of this whole argument thing with Mauli and... Errg, nevermind. I'll explain later. It was nice meeting you!" Without another word her hurried off towards the forest...but paused about half way there, turned around, and quickly walked back. Once he reached X, he carefully scooped Slush from the crook of his arm, trying not to awaken the infant SM as he handed him to his owner. "Your kid, not mine. Bye!"
Grinning sheepishly, he turned away, striding off towards the forest and disappearing into the trees.

It really was late, and Adok would be beating the hell out of Monkey by now. She still had a 'movie date' with her stepson Colten as well.* s**t...*Looking down at the yawning fluffball, she decided to do another thing she rarely does, teleport. There was no way she was going to walk all the way back to her house on the outskirts of Barton, this late... in the dark... with Slush. So without further thought, she closed her eyes and there was a swirl of black smoke in the general area that the had been standing at.* ((No problem, it's late here too, I just got caught up in the RP. sweatdrop heart @video.))

HQ Keppit Jen walked into the building and went straight for the den... then he sat his muscular Sm body down on the window seat, picked up his little hamonizing flute and made his paws go thorugh the motions of playing... a practicing of sorts, but since there were a lot of Sm's here today he had decided not to subject them to his music... besides... his music just made him sad anyway... ((lo peoples... Em says hi and wishes us all well... smile )) Moofuls ((Isto: n__n *Murrs*

Banda was curled up on the couch, absently flipping through the pages of a book he'd found. He was bored. Very bored. But that was okay, because he had found Isto! ...Almost. According to Slush, Isto had been here last night, so...he'd come back, right? He'd never come home... Knowing Isto, he was probably hiding out in the woods, and came to HQ to eat and such... 'Twould explain a lot.
Isto had in fact spent the night in the woods, but not willingly. He had been...detained, one could say. At that moment, he was at the edge of the forest, stumbling wearily back towards HQ. It was closer than his house.. His metal arm hung, unmoving, at his side, his shoulder torn and bloodied. About half of the wires had been ripped away or disconnected, leaving a gaping wound where they had once been. A dozen or so small gashes decorated his chest and back, only now beginning to scab over. It had NOT been a good night...
((;D Explanation coming in his log...)) Doomi ((Meh I join...pwease?If not egnore this post)) Sarabi was in the kitchen, fixing herself a snack. It had been awile since shes Tawn, she thought he had metioned something about a vacation with his mother, o well. She headed out to the den and sat on the couch,noticing Banda on the other side. Maybe if she hadn't kept him out so late last night talking, he'd be okay right now. Nevermind that, right now she had to help him. Scooping up Slush from the floor, she set him down next to Banda, and making sure Banda was looking she asked him a favor.* Can you please watch him for me for a bit...?*Once she had gotten a response from Banda, she made her way over to Isto and gently picked up his arm, walking with him to relieve some of the pressure the deadweight was probably causing him.* Isto what happened?Keppit ((hmmm..... wonders what Isto could have done smile )) Jen sees Banda and throws a cushion at him... not hard and it doesn't hit him... but it goes across his vision... Moofuls ((*Shrugs* He got attacked by one of them shadow thingies on his way back.

...A cusion flew over his book. Banda blinked and closed the book, glancing in the direction the cushion had come from. Grinning faintly, he sits up, waving over to Jen. Before he could speak, however, Sarabi sat beside him...with a plate of cookies. Yay, cookies! "Hallo!" he replied, reaching for a cookie. He picked one up and took a bit, staring thoughtfully at Sarabi. Finally swallowing, he spoke. "....I think I know you, but...you're fifth stage now, so, are you Sarabi?" Banda nodded, waving down to Slush. "Wanna cookie?"
Isto hissed softly with the initial pain of moving his arm, but then sighed in relief. It really did help, not having to carry it... He shot X a thankful look, and immediately headed for an empty chair, slowly sitting. "Ehh...got a bit lost on my way home last night. Couple of the shadows 'caught up with me..." He shrugged slightly, but winced and fell still, smirking faintly. "I won, though." Doomi Sarabi grinned proudly. "Yes I am, im kinnda new to its, so its been a interesting week." She thought back on the week remember how at first she was so clumsy, and almost broke the lamp in Doomi's house. "How've you been?Have you seen Isto lately?"It was then when she noticed Slush next to Banda, and handed Banda a cookie to offer too him. Keppit Jen smiled and waved at Banda but before he got a chance to say anything X put down Slush and left with a worried look... Jen decided to follow her... then he heard her say "Isto... " and he pegged it to the room where Isto was .... XBear ((Is kay, I figured Slush couldn't do much with all the blood and such, since he's so small.)) *Slush's eyes widened happily as he nodded, curling up into Banda's lap and taking a cookie from Banda and noticing Sarabi and her tray.* Thank you! To bad there werent that many infants anymore..."Im Sarabi, very nice to meet you Slush. I like your name." she started to nibble on one of the cookies. Keppit Jen gasped when he saw Isto... "Well of course you won... but look what's happened... " then he turned to X and blushed looking back and forth between her and Isto... " Can... um.. can I help......... please... "You look very nice," Banda commented, smiling. He took another bite off his cookie, swallowing before replying. "I've been good! But I haven't seen Isto for a few days... Moo's pretty worried. He hasn't come home." Laughing softly, he glanced down at Slush, grinning. "Met a bunch of SMs yet?"XBear *Slush grinned proudly as he looked up at Sarabi as he munched on his cookie, which was very yummy by the way.* It's cause I look like slushie... *X made sure to move with him, as to cause him as little pain as possible, pulling up a chair, she sat down carefully in it next to him. Giving him a light smirk at his last comment, she kept her voice serious, but still positive.* Do you know anyone who can repair the connections...?Doomi Sarabi beamed. She was very happy with her new look, and she was glad other people liked it too. "Thank you. Thats just like Isto, appering, then dissapearing, well I hope hes ok, I bet he'll come home soon." She then turned to Slush. "And a very cute slushly at that." she says tickling his belly. "You're welcome," chirped Banda, finishing off his cookie in another bite. "I'm sure he'll come back soon... But he's never stayed gone this long without telling Moo first. 'Course, it's only been a couple days..." He shrugged, reaching fr another cookie. "I bet he's fine." XBear ((Overdrive RP time!)) *Slush smiled and nodded up at Banda, holding a paw out to him.* More than this many too! Everyone's so nice, though... I met a fifth stage that didn't talk much... But he was cool too! *Looking up at Sarabi, he squealed happily and flicked his tail, loving the attention he was getting.* Keppit Jen hesitated momentarily... he didn't want to leave the room... but then his senses got the better of him (as they always did... damn logic) and he went into the kitchen and then into the bathroom gathering the supplies he was asked for... He purposefully avoided the den so that the others wouldn't see him getting the first aid kit... he figured that they didn't need to see Isto until he was all patched up... then Jen made his way back to Isto and X... Damn Isto! He was always ruining Jen's plans.... Doomi "I do too." Sarabi said reasuringly. Banda must miss Isto. She heard a noise coming from the other room, and got up, curios to what it was. "Ill be right back, you two stay here." she put the plate down, and headed into the other room. She saw Isto in the chair, and it took a moment for her brain to registure what was happening. "Isto!" she almost screamed, but she didnt want the others to hear her in the other room. "What happend?" Sarabi looked down at his metal arm, wires poking out everywhere, she crouched next to him, examining it. "eh...do you need help?I know i doesnt look like it but, im preety good with mecanics and such, i helped Doomi fix her car a million times." Keppit Jen suddenly had a thought... and he voiced it once he got back into the room... always helpful he was... anything for Isto... "Isto!.. I just had a thought... My mom does anamatronics for some of the puppets that she uses... I could get her... she's just at the floppi center down the road... I bet she might be able to have a look and tell you how bad the wiring's hurt if not fix it... " XBear *She moved her head and took a closer look at the connections, reaching behind her, she pulled a clean paper towel off of the roll and carefully dabbedup any blood that was drippind down his side, making sure to cause as little pain as possible.* Well it's still attached, and only a few wires are really fully severed. I'm sure it can be patched up and as good as new, though I don't doubt that it will hurt like hell...*SHe looked up, very thankful for the help that she was getting, since she wasn't anywhere near a doctor.* Do you think we should contact Moo about this yet...?Moofuls Banda grinned, finishing off his cookie. When Sarabi's voice reached his ears, Isto looked up, but he merely blinked, staring at her. This...was...Sarabi? Oh, right, fifth stage. "You grew! Oh, couplea those shadow things... It's really not as bad as it looks...I think." He glanced sideways to his shoulder, winced, then nodded slightly. "Yeah...do you think you could figure out how it connects?" His eyes turned to Jen with the suggestion, smiling faintly. "I'd appreciate it, Jen. But only if she's not busy."
He winced, hissing through his teeth and cringing away when X dabbed at the torn flesh. After a moment he relaxed, sighing. "S'nothing compared to lightening... No, err, don't tell Moo. She'll panic, I'm sure... I'll tell her when I get home." Keppit Jen takes off at full speed towards the Floppi center... "It wasn't anything special... I was runnin' home, couple of shadow wolves jumped me... Managed to break one's neck without much trouble, but the second tore out my shoulder. Finally ended up suffocatin' it. Was too tired to go home, so I slept in the forest," he finished, then glanced to Sarabi, frowning faintly. "Banda's here? I-" He paused, twitching uncomfortably when the wire was put in the wrong place, then sighing in relief when she fixed it. "You moved in with Tawn? I didn't know he'd gotten his own place... Haven't seen him in a while. Mauli's family's been living with mine, but...that hasn't gone too well." Keppit Keppit steps up and takes Sarabi's place at Isto's shoulder... "Well... Sarabi was doing a fine job here... " She smiled... and the turned to Jen... "Jen, love... come out of the doorway... you're just in the way over there... go look shocked in a more convienient place... " Then she opened he kit and pulled out a pair of rubber handled needlenose pliers and a pair of reading glasses... she looked around for a second and then smiled up at Isto... "You did a really good job of tearing this up... " She reaches down into her kit, pulls out a audering Iron and plugs it in... then she starts to reconnect the wires that weren't broken... "Sit still you... " XBear *X sat there silently, just listening to the two fifthstagers talk, taking down names in the back of her head in case she ever met either of them. Once she wasn finished cleaning him up, she threw away the paper towel and reached for the bandages and the neosporin.* Isto, do you want to stay at my place while this heals and just tell Moo where you are... or do you want to go home tonight, I wouldn't mind formally meeting Moo...Moofuls Isto laughed hesitantly, nervously eyeing Keppit's equipment. He'd get over this easily enough... He remained as still as possible, watching X out of the corner of his eye. "I should probably head home... I've been gone a couple of days already. XBear *She looked down at him and nodded as she began to bandage him up, making sure to put the neosporin on first, followed quickly by the bandages. "The arm might not have been taken off but it's near enough... " she reached down and picked up the saudering Iron... " She looked at X and smiled... "I'm Keppit by the way... Jen's mom... Puppets... " She gripped the handle of the iron in her mouth and offered her free hand to X for a handshake... Moofuls Slowly, Isto began to relax, smiling faintly in relief while she bandaged each gash. "Umm... I'm not sure I know how to ge there by driving. Moo doesn't own a care anymore. She turned it into a hovercraft, then wrecked it against a tree a while back. It's not -too- far...We can walk." Isto's gaze turned to the damaged shoulder, grimacing slightly at the sight that greeted him. It didn't hurt as badly anymore... Just a low, throbbing pain. It still looked rather disgusting, however... And a few of the wires were split or missing. Meh, they had more at home. He shouldn't worry, right? XBear *She reached out and took her hand, giving it a firm shake as she smiled to her. Puppets... Ah yesh, Jen did mention something about puppets earlier and she thought she had heard wind of someone making the SMs puppets.* Ah yes, puppets... But it's a bit different with Isto here... and the clout's gone and ripped some wires clean... " she grinned at Isto "I'm going to use the Iron now... I'm not going to touch your skin with it... but rather reatach the wires that are still reattachable... It really shouldn't hurt you... but then I've never really done any wiring on a living beign before... have you ever had experience with this? Can you tell me if it willhurt or not? " Jen was still watching from the corner... "please don't hurt him mom... " Keppit turned "Jen... When we're finished here you can go and get Banda and Slush...." then she looked at Isto... "I have my van outside... and Moo gave me directions to your house... It might be easier to get everyone there that way... but if you'd rather walk then I respect that.. " Moofuls Eyeing the iron warily, Isto nodded slightly, but then shook his head. "Go ahead... I don't think it'll hurt, but nothing like this has ever happened before, so..." He began to shrug, but winced, immediately falling still. "I don't mind risking it. A van..." He blinked, then grinned slightly, nodding. "Yeah...once you're done, I'll call Moo for directions. I don't really want to risk taking Slush and Banda through the forest after what happened." Keppit Keppit smiled at him trying not to burn herself in the face, since she did still have the iron in her mouth... she let the Iron drop into her hand and brought it right up to Isto's arm... "I'm not going to be able to fix all of it right now... I'll need more wires... and I only brought the sauder kit and handling tools... I assume that you have more wires at your house.... Bu anyway... steel yourself cause here goes... " Jen gasped... Keppit didn't take her gaze off Isto's arm as she started using the Iron to fuse the wires again... "Jen do something useful please... " XBear *A van did sound like a good idea, a really good idea actually, considering the forest had knomes and shadows that mauled in it. A faint chill ran down his spine when she began fusing the wirse together. A slight shock soon followed, but there was no pain. There was...no feeling, really. Just an odd tingling sensation, if that counted. His arm remained completely motionless, though not from lack of trying to move it. Too many wires were still disconnected, it seemed. Jen's gasp reached his ears, and he glanced over to the brown SM, grinning faintly. "Don't worry, Jen. I'll be fine. I've had worse." He turned his eyes back to X, contemplating her offer. Now that he thought about it...dang, YES, he was thirsty! He hadn't had anything to drink since the day before, and nothing but a bite of eggs to eat in the past three days. "Yeah, umm, some water would be great, thanks."Keppit "Van it is then... Would someone like to do the honors of calling Moo? and spare her all the details or else we'll have her here in our laps... Just tell her that we're all coming over for a visit... and we're a givin' Isto and Banda a ride home... and ask if she wants us to pick up some chinsese food or sommat.... "Keppit grinned... "Actaully chinese doesn't sound all that bad right now... I'm almost finshed with what I can do... It'll just be a few minutes... X? Do you want to call Moo? Or should I send Jen to do it.... we have to get Banda in here too... " Keppit winced as a drop of wire fell onto her pliers hand and burned her... "I do that all the time... no worries... " she smiled... XBear Good choice... and once Keppit's done we'll work on getting you and Banda home, hopefully for some food.*X smiled reassuringly to him as she got up and went over to the kitchen, pulling down a glass and putting ice in it, then grabbing two bottles of water when she passed the cubbard. While she passed by the living room, she gave Banda a smile, mouthing 'thank you' as she scooped up Slush, figuring he could distract Isto from any pain he was feeling. She finally returned to where Isto and Keppit were, carefully dropping Slush down on Isto's lap and handing him the glass to hold while she opened one of the bottles and poured it into the glass.* Figured you could use a smile...*Slush looked up at Keppit's work in amazement, curling up in Sharkie's lap and watching intently for a bit before looking up at Sharkie and grinning cheekily.* *She looked up at Keppit as she opened up her bottle and took a long swig from it before answering.* I don't really know Moo... so maybe Jen should do it, less freak-outing that way... Just tell me when we're ready and I'll go get Banda if you want.... Keppit Keppit turned to Jen.... "Be a dear, dear... Go call Miss Moo and tell her that Keppit has both her sons and a new aquaintance and I'm taking her up on her previous offer of dinner.... please do Isto here a favor and spare his mother all the graphic details over the phone... " Jen turned and padded out of the room without a sound... Keppit yelled back out the door at him... "and remember to ask her if she wants us to bring takeout..." She turned back to Isto... "It's really up to old tin paw here... whenever he's ready for Banda.... and .... " she twisted to pliers and turned off the Iron... " that is gonna be about all I can do for the arm right now.... I've redone all the movement... so you should be able to move the whole arm... but you've ripped out the finger wires... you can move.... lets see here... your thumb and index... but the other fingers will have to wait... sorry kiddo no bad gestures for a while... and I'm gonna need a clean wire for the sensory... so watch it cause you can't even feel the pressures on it right now and you could take it off again by bashing it into a doorframe and not know it... " She grinned and peeled the melted metal off her hand.... "Drink your water.." smile Moofuls "I'll call her once your done," offered Isto. He grimaced faintly when the hot metal dropped on her finger, but said nothing, instead watching as X headed for the kitchen.
"You're welcome," Banda immediately replied, watching them go. But now he was alone... Everyone else had gone to the other room for some reason. So he hopped down from the couch and trotted after X, curious as to what had stolen their attention. He froze in the doorway, staring in open-mouthed shock at Isto.
However, Isto failed to notice. He gratefully accepted the glass from X, took a long sip, then glanced down to the ball of fuzz on his lap, grinning. "Hallo, Slush! Howsit?" XBear *Slush nuzzled into his stomach, causing himself to flip over onto his back, still grinning up at Sharkie. While he responded in excitement, X moved over to Banda and scooped him up, hugging him and scratching him behind his ears, making sure to listen to what Keppit was saying.* I got a cookie, an I met Banda, an Pretty Tou... Oh oh and I met two fifth-stagers today...! *He trailed off as he held up two pawfingers for emphasis.* ...Sarabi... and, and... I don't know, but he had pretty teal hair... Moofuls Isto listened throughtout Keppit's explanation, nodding slightly once she finished. He experimentally moves his wrist, then entire arm, but soon allows it to fall still once more. He was extremely relieved that it actually worked, but...it bothered his shoulder to move it. He'd have to be careful for a while...
He sent Keppit a thankful smile, then glanced down at Slush, chuckling softly. Before replying, he took a long drink, and by the time he lowered his glass it was only a quarter full. "Sounds like you've had a full day, eh? Teal hair... That would be Shiro." Don't. Like. Shiro. ....Hiss.

Banda was taken completely by surprise when X scooped him up. He blinked, then squirmed a bit from the initial shock, finally holding still only when he recognized her as Slush's mom. He hadn't seen her....nor heard her, but that was obvious. WhattheheckhadhappenedtoIsto!?!?!! Keppit Jen grumbled to himself... small grumbles about how Isto was always ruining his plans lately... and about how worthless he must be that all he could do was stand in a corner and stare at him... especially when he's hurt... he got to the phone and called Moo.... (Quiet had all the owner's numbers on a call listing right there beside the phone... ) Moo herslef answered the phone and Jen told her everything Keppit had told him to say.... He completely left out the part about Isto being hurt.... He wasn't dying after all (thank my stars thought Jen) and she'd be able to yell at him better once he was home... XBear Shiro... he didn't really talk to me, but that's okay... *Slush continued to roll around happily in Isto's lap, being careful not to hit his metal arm. Looking over at his mum, he saw Banda and smiled wider, waving to both X and Banda. X saw this and smirked, motioning towards Slush for Banda's sake and then waving back.* What about you Sharkie... How are you feeling? Moofuls "Shiro doesn't talk too much," Isto muttered, and would have shrugged, but a fresh wave of pain from his shoulder put a stop to it. He smiled down at the infant SM in his lap, then blinked...and in that split second Slush was no longer an infant. "You grew!? Congrats!! I'm...umm.. fine," he lied, gritting his teeth to keep a smile on his face. In all honestly, his shoulder HURT. BAD. But he didn't want anyone to worry more than they already were...
Chuckling softly, Banda returned Slush's wave, blinking twice and rubbing his eyes when the infant suddenly grew. Keppit Keppit smiled and clicked her tounge at Isto.... "Fine.. " She snorted... " Fine would be not walking throught the forest durring the middle of the night... and Fine would be giving a good example for infants and children... " She grinned... then suddenly she got serrious... "I have something to ask you Isto... while Jen is away calling Moo... " Moofuls Isto laughed hesitantly at her 'accusations', glancing up from the child to face her. He raised an eyebrow curiously, but nodded, smiling faintly. "Mmhmm?" Keppit She continued putting away her tools, so she wasn't looking at him.... "I need you to promise me something... Promise me that no matter what Jen may say to you that you won't crush him.... promise me that you'll listen to him and answer him truthfully... Jen's always been a logical Sm... remeber how many questions he used to ask... well he may be quiet and reserved now, but that's only because his questions have taken on a new level and he's scared to ask them... he's scared to know the answers.... just promise me that you won't hurt him... and that doesn't mean saying yes, but rather answering truthfully... " she smiled... " XBear *She listened to their conversation while petting Banda, not wanting to interrupt the two of them. Slush had stopped rolling around and was feeling his skull with his paws, stunned as to how it got there. Suddenly, he snapped out of his trance, grinned, and poked at Isto's stomach.* Does your mum have apple pie Sharkie? Moofuls "Well..." He stilled seemed rather confused by her comments, but relieved nonetheless. At least nothing was wrong.,..maybe. Was something wrong? She was certainly acting like it, but she'd said... "Aye, I'll listen. Don't worry, I won't...hurt him." He wasn't quite sure why she thought he would hurt Jen in the first place. Eck, maybe someone had told he about that whole thing with Mauli and Remy? Or maybe not... Jen had been mad at him yesterday. Hmm... A poke at his stomach caught his attention, and he glanced down, chuckling softly. "I dunno, Slush. If she doesn't, I'm sure Alo'd make you some. Alao likes to cook."

((I'm going to assume that Moo was pleased that We had found Isto and didn't mind us coming over and she gave Jen directions and anything else magical that we many need along the way smile .... if this is not true then Post othewise)) Jen: Done, mom. Keppit: Well... X? Isto? Shall we all go then? XBear Oy, Doominator, lets head out towards the van with Banda...*X didn't want to burden Isto with carrying Slush, especially since he was a child now. "Nah, I got it Keppit. Thanks for your help.." Once Slush was off his lap, Isto nodded and slowly stood, careful not to jar his arm. Then, chuckling softly, he strode after X and Slush, bending and scooping the child SM up in his normal arm. He grinned down at Slush, winking. "I'm not completely useless, eh?" XBear *Slush squealed happily and began to chortle softly before answering.* Nope...You da man Sharkie! *X tried her hardest not to burst out laughing as she stepped into the van, carefully scooching over and placing Banda in her lap after pulling on her seatbelt. She took a look back to see Isto's reaaction to this as she waited for everyone to situate themselves in the car.* ((*Hides.*)) Keppit Jen situated himself in the middle seat and Keppit opened the passenger side door for Isto... "Hop in... Buckle up please everyone..." Keppit climbed into the drivers side and turned to Jen... "Directions as we go please?" Jen: "Miss Moo says to watch out for the gnomes... " (( xd )) Moofuls X actually made an effort not to laugh. Isto didn't even bother to try. He burst out laughing, hardly managing to nod his thanks to Keppit for opening the door. Still laughing, he took his seat and set Slush on his lap, but hesitated before reaching for the seatbelt. The strap would fall right across his wounded shoulder... Smiling hesitantly, he glances to Keppit, nodding towards the seatbelt. "Ehh....mind if I don't, this time?"
Because of the angles of the car, Banda was unable to understand absolutely anything anyone was saying. But that was alright, because he knew they were going home... So for now he was content to curl up on X's lap, enjoying all the attention. XBear *Slush gave him a goofy grin, happy he had made Sharkie laugh so hard, and curled up in his lap, yawning slightly before peering up at his seatman. X was content to chuckle to herself and shower Banda with attention, petting him while tickling his belly every so often. After Keppit's comment X piped up though, not swaying her main attention from the cute SM in her lap.* If you see a knome, make sure to hit the gas and run over the little son of a b***h.*She didn't mind cursing in front of Slush, he knew that there was a time to curse and a time not to, and that at the house it was mostly at Monkey or Adok... or both.* Keppit Keppit turned and was about to tell Isto it was ok when she heard X's comment about the gnomes and cracked up laughing so hard that she could barely breathe... finally " Can do.... so Isto it's alright that you don't wear the belt but if you see a gnome then hold on for dear life... " She glanced up into the rearview mirror... "Jen seatbelt." Slush's ability to make Isto laugh had made Jen jealous and he had been so busy watching Slush that he hadn't buckled up yet... he did so and then mentally scolded himself for being jealous of a child... Isto couldn't help but grin, and was immediately hit by another wave of laughter at X's comment. Once he recovered, he nodded his thanks to Keppit, chuckling softly with her comment. "Will do. Smash a few for me, will ya?"
Banda kept bursting into giggles from the tickling, otherwise murring happily. That was the major downfall of Moo's huge family... She didn't have much time to just shower attention on any particular one. So Banda was sucking up as much as possible.... XBear *She grinned down at the SM in her lap finding him absolutely adorable and snuggle worthy, so she continued to give Banda the attention rub down, picking him up and snuggling him in her arms.* Isto, whenever you come and visit, make sure you bring Banda with you too...Keppit Keppit manuevers the car all the way to moo's house without any problems and without spotting any gnomes... once there Keppit good naturedly orders everyone out... The little deaf SM cheerfully snuggled up against X, sending a grin up front to Isto.
Isto rolled his eyes, shaking his head in mock despair at his younger...older brother's antics. But he smiled, nodding. "Gladly, X. I'm not sure he'd let me leave him behind."
When they reached the House, he reached over and opened the door (with his normal arm), then scooped Slush up and climbed out of the van. "Welcome to the Jivvin House."

Moo's House Moofuls
"Welcome to the Jivvin House." Smiling wearily, Isto led the way towards the door, Slush tucked under his normal arm.
The House was, to put it quite simply, magnificent. An ancient mansion rose from the earth, easily five stories tall, shimmering eerily in the fading light. Three pairs of double doors lined the front, each with the emblem of an hourglass burnt directly in the center. The only visable difference of the doors was the sand in the hourglasses. The first glass had nearly run out, the second was still about half full, and the third was almost completely full.
It was to the middle doors that Isto walked. He knocked once, then turned the knob, opening the door and stepping to the side to allow everyone else in. Surprisingly, the entrance hall was empty. Or, empty of life at least. The hall was as wide as a normal room, and stretched towards the back of the House, abruptly ending at another set of double doors. A few other, simpler doors lined the hallways, each leading to another area of the House. Keppit Keppit followed in behind Moo and whistled... "WHew... Isto you people live it up" she walked further in... "I heard about those doors... what are they again? Past present and future?" Jen padded into the mansion behind Keppit with a very surly look... he was impressed... it just didn't show... Moofuls "Eh, the House was Moo's great great uncle's or somethin' like that. She inherited it." He nodded slightly, glancing back outside, eyes moving first right--towards the Past, then left to the Future. "Aye, this place is crazy. Moo flatly refuses to let anyone into the Future door, but Jack an' I go to the Past pretty often. S'interesting. I don't have a mohawk there...or a metal arm, for that matter." Keppit Keppit turns... contemplating the past door... " the thought of those doors disturbs me... it really does... " "It's ok mom.." XBear *X admired the architecture of the house as she unbuckled herself and shimmied her way out of the van, Banda tucked securly in her arms. She herself wasn't impressed by the size of the house, hers was about that size too, an inheritance that she had just found out about, apparently it was where her entire line of family had lived, but then she turned and forgot, but that's a nother story alltogether. She waited for Jen to get out of the van before shutting the door and walking up towards the house.* Magnificent...but I don't know if I'd want to visit my past or my future...*Slush contimplated the idea of the three doors, marvelling at their size as he clung to Isto's arm, enjoying the ride.* Why have three doors when you can only use two? That's silly. Moofuls "You get used to 'em," Isto murmured, shrugging. He chuckled softly, shrugging and glancing down to Slush. "Each door takes you to a different place. The whole House changes when the door opens, and other people appear, as well as different landscapes and such. It's kinda creepy... Moo thinks the combination of three times is probably what' caused all the trouble with the fifth floor. The magic's eroding, and-" He abruptly fell silent, blinking down at Slush. He'd forgotten who he was talking to. Grinning sheepishly, he shrugged. "The middle one's the only useful door." Keppit Keppit was only too glad to turn away from the doors... they creeped her out... "Best go find moo huh? Get the worry over and then some food into the doomster and us all " she grinned Jen rolled his eyes... XBear *X saw Jen roll his eyes, causing her to purse her lips slightly, but make no comment. This wasn't anywhere near her business, so she just continued to pet and nuzzle Banda as she walked in through the doors.* I still think it's silly Sharkie... *Slush grinned cheekily at the mention of one of his nicknames, turning around towards Keppit so that she could see how the nickname indeed made him happy. Catching Jen's eyeroll, his expression fell and he looked at him curiously before turning back around and busying himself with giving himself his own visual tour of the house.* Moofuls "She's probably in the kitchen," Isto offered, closing the door once they'd all entered. "Helping Alao cook dinner, if I know her."
He failed to catch Jen's eyeroll, but chuckled softly at Keppit's use of the nickname, glancing down at Slush. "I'll give you a tour of the Past later. Then we'll see how silly you think it is..." Yawning, he set the child SM on the ground, winking. "Explore to your hearts delight, but stay off the fourth and fifth floors, alright?"
Meanwhile, Banda was curled up in X's arms, murring happily from all the attention. It finally occured to him that they were home, and he straightened up slightly, yelling. "MOOOOOO, WE'RE HERE!" Keppit Keppit smiled... Jen saw that his eye roll had hurt Slush's feelings... Jen sighed... he wasn't rolling his eyes at Slush... he was rolling his eyes at Keppit... she could be so strange... he deided to keep his facial expressions to himself... and with Isto's mention of exploring the house... Jen padded back into the hall and sat down to think... XBear *Slush nodded up at Isto with a small smile, padding along the hallway till he smelled the welcoming odor of food being cooked, and by the smell of it... it was REALLY good food too. Forgetting what had happened for the moment, he trotted after the smell that beckoned him, taking deep breaths and licking his lips lightly under his skull. X smelled the food too, and felt her stomach rumbling lightly, trying not to be too rude, she skipped right to the point.* So Isto... where exactly is this kitchen with the magic smell coming out of it anyways? I'm sure Moo would really like to see you... and uh... well I'm really hungry.Moofuls Isto laughed aloud, but soon fell silent, plastering a grin on his face. Woo, too much laughing HURT. But he was home, so...he'd eat, then head to bed. Everyone would understand, right? He'd hardly slept the night before...unless unconciousness counted. "Just follow Slush. Look's like he's heading the right way..."
And he certainly was. A bit further down the hall, a doown on their left was open, and it was from this door that the smells were coming. This soon became apparent as Moo ran out of it, skidding to a stop and spinning to face her guests. Almost immediately she charged over to Isto and wrapped him in a tight hug, grinning. "You're back! You're...bleeding on me." She abruptly let go, staring at his shoulder.
Quite suddenly she grabbed Isto by his normal wrist, dragging him back towards the kitchen, shouting cheerfully back to her guests. "Dinner's almost ready, c'mon! ACIIIIIA, get my tool kit!" Keppit Keppit had followed Slush and Isto into the kitchen and grinned at the way that Moo treated Isto... "Hiya Moo... how goes life? " Jen was still in the hall... he could hear Moo and Keppit and Slush talking in the kitchen... he wasn't going to go through... not yet... he might in a moment... XBear *X grinned at Moo's reaction too, following everyone into the kitchen, noticing that Jen had stayed behind, her stomach urging her too much for her to stop and ask questions, it wasn't her business either. Taking one deep breath, she inhaled the yumminess of the food. Slush hopped up on the nearest chair and watched the ongoings with a smirk and some curiousity.* Need any help Moo? I'm X and the furry pink ball of doom over there is Slush... Moofuls "Howdy, Keppit," Moo cheerfully replied, leading the way through an overly fancy dining room to the kitchen. "It...goes. Could be better, could be worse. How 'bout you?" As they reach the kitchen, she Pulls back a chair, shoving Isto down into it. "Don't move. ACIIIIIIIAAAA, where's that kit??"
As they reached the kitchen, Banda grinned up at X, then squirmed free of her arms, dropping to the floor and trotting over to a pink bunny-ish creature, volunteering to help with dinner. Alao immdiately dropped what she was doing and scooped him up into a hug, babbling about who knows what. It really didn't matter; Banda couldn't hear her.
"It's nice to meet you, X...and Slush." Moo grinned, waving a greeting to the child SM before returning her eyes to his mom. "Nah, I think I got it. Or, Alao does at least... I'm just going to clean up Isto's arm a bit, methinks. Umm..." She trails off, smiling sheepishly. "We have a ...huge family, and most meals here are buffet, serve yourself. You don't mind, do you?" Keppit Keppit grinned at moo and then turned to speak to Jen... he wasn;t there... she sighed and went out into the hallway... she could be heard mumbling something about being polite... and came back dragging Jen by the scruff of the neck... she set him down straight and sat herself down in a chair... "Hello Miss Moo... Thankyou for having us over for dinner... I really aprechiate it... " Jen half smiled... All he really wanted to do was leave now that he knew Isto was ok ... but his mom wasn't going to allow that.. and he knew it... XBear Sweet, those are the best types of meals, much happier and such...*She grinned and grabbed two plates, heading towards the 'buffet'. Beckoning towards Slush, she called out to him.* Oy, Doominator, do you want me to just grab you whatever or do you want to have a say in it...?*Slush perked his ears up at the mention of his 'name', peering up over at X as if contimplating to himself. Smirking lightly and taking a deep breath before answering.* Whatever smells the yummiest mum... Moofuls "Anytime, Jen," Moo replied, grinning. "Come over whenever you'd like." She could tell that Jen didn't really want to be there, which was...odd. Eh, maybe he was just worried about Isto? Isto. Toolbox. "ACIIIIIIIA, WHERE ARE YOU?"
Isto half rose from his chair, eyes scanning the variety of dishes lining the countertop. But before he could stand completely, Moo pushed him back down, shaking her head. "We'll getcha somethin. Sit." Keppit Keppit smiled at Jen and he sat down... Keppit then proceded to fill two plates with various foods... some for her and some for Jen... she grinned at Slush and turned to the table again... "I'm starved... I was fixing the stove in the floppi center... and I was going to eat right afterwards.... everything looks so good.. " XBear *X came back with two plates full of food, though one was less full than the other. She set the lesser full one down in front of Slush and then took the seat next to him, setting her plate down and beginning to eat. As soon as she had set the plate before Slush, he dug in with his fork and began to scarf down his food, god only knew how he was staying neat and polite during this process, but he didn't drop a bit of food on him.* This food is VERY good Moo...Moofuls Moo flushed with delight at the complement, heading to the counter herself to fix a plate for Isto. She wasn't very hungry at the moment. "Why thank you! Though, I must admit, most of it's Alao's doing. I'm not much of a cook myself." After a few minutes she returned to the table and set the plate down before Isto, eyes narrowing. "Left arm only. Don't move the right until I'm done."
Isto took a moment to roll his eyes...then promptly dug in, barely taking the time to swallow before eating another mouthful. MMMM, thank God for Alao's cooking! It had been days since he'd last eaten, and he was gladly making up for it. Of course...he was right handed, so it was a bit more difficult, but he could manage well enough.
Finally, Acia arrived, though she was riding on Jack's shoulder. The Jivvin anthro set Moo's toolchest on the table, waving vaguely in greeting to Isto. Acia, it seemed, was still upset, because she completely ignored her older 'brother'. Isto took about a second to wave back. He could talk to Jack later. FOOD. Keppit Keppit was too busy stuffing her face full of good food to say anything... Jen on the other hand was staring at his plate... sudenly his hunger hit him and he politley started to eat... he was very hungry... He looked at Jack and sighed... there was another Anthro there... Anthro's everywhere.. and this little Slush... he'd be anthro too... he'd be bigger than Jen and more like Isto than Jen could ever be.... Jen looked at Isto.... He was eating with his left hand which made him a little clumbsy... and you could tell that he was hungry... Jen immediately felt a stab of guilt at reacting angrily to Isto the other day at breakfast, and thus keeping Isto from eating... XBear *Slush and X were both eating their food, but X looked up and waved and Jack and Acia, she'd introduce herself and Slush later, right now it was food time. She watched Jen seemingly pondering his food, feeling slightly bad for ignoring him earlier when she was helping Isto out. Though she didn't know the relationship that he and Isto had, she did recall seeing him at the lake, off to the side, watching Isto and Slush with a jealous look. She didn't know what was going on between him and Isto, but she hoped that everything would work out for the two of them.* Moofuls Apparently Jack wasn't too interested in speaking to Isto either. He nodded a greeting to the guests, managed a faint smile, then immediately went to fix plates for himself and Acia. Once done, the pair left the room, probably to eat in the living room. Isto wasn't -terribly- upset. Obviously Acia was still mad at him, and thus she'd convinced Jack to be mad too. He'd get everything sorted out...tomorrow. Sleep after food.
Now that her tool kit was here, Moo went straight to work. He flipped the kit open and began digging through it, eventually pulling out a variety of tools and a roll of wire. She cut a few lengths, then removed a slender knife from the kit, poking around midst the wires that had recently been replaced in Isto's shoulder. "Hmm....whoever fixed this did a good job.... 'Twas you I'm assuming, Keppit?" Keppit Keppit looked up at moo... "hmm?... oh.. yeah smile anamtronics come in handy sometimes... though tinpaw there is a lot more complicated... " she grinned and Jen actually looked proud of Keppit .... never let anyone say that he didn't like Keppit... he did... she fixed up Isto after all... He looked at Slush and grinned... then he went back to eating... XBear *Slush finished his food and wiped his mouth with his paw, watching the piraty looking anthro and glider leave the room with their plates, seemingly avoiding Isto. After a small yawn, he turned his attention to Moo, who was doing some interesting stuff with Isto's metal arm. X also saw Jack and the glider walk off, but that was also not her business, so she finished her last bite and looked over at Isto and chuckled.* Looks like Sharkie'll be better now that he's tanked up...Moofuls "You've made my job a lot easier," Moo chuckled, withdrawing the knife and setting it aside. Isto didn't spare her a glance; he was used to this by now. Picking up a pair of needlenose pliers, Moo began to reconnect a severed wire, humming absently to herself. At X's words, she blinked and glanced over, confused. "Sharkie?"
"Long story," Isto murmured between bites. He was beginning to slow down... Mmm....food.... Grinning cheekily, he glanced over to Slush and Q, then to Keppit and Jen. He yawned, setting his fork down on his now-empty plate. "So, whatcha wanna do once Moo's done with my shoulder?" Keppit Keppit grinned at Moo... and went about finishing her dinner... she may have been eating fast, but fast for Keppit was about normal for other people.... Jen looked up at Isto... he thought about suggesting that Isto went to bed but then he remembered that that was none of his business.. Keppt smiled up at Moo and over at X and slush after Moo mentioned Sharkie... XBear You're the one who lives here Isto... though introductions may be nice...*X looked to Isto and shrugged, giving him a dumbfounded look as Slush walked over Isto's lap and settled into X's lap. Slush looked up at Isto and Moo, watching the activities curiously.* Sharkie, I wanna meet the one with the bigh poofy tail and the cool hat. ((*Cough.* Jack and his n****e piercings. xd ninja )) Moofuls ((Fwee!!! Sounds fun n_n I wish I could make 'em.... I'm still working on mechanics xD But s'fun, y'know?
Jack:.....*Glares at X*))
Truth be told, Isto was extremely exhausted...but he could stay up a bit longer. They had guests, after all. And he could always sleep late the next morning... Besides, he didn't want to go to sleep with Jack and Acia mad at him. That could have dire consequences.
"Introductions....heh..." Isto smiled faintly, then glanced hopefully up to Moo. ...She grinned. Dangerously. Crap, she knew everything. Fighting to keep a grin on his face, he turned his eyes back to X. "Umm.... Sure, I'll letcha meet the family. Or anyone I can find, at least. That would be Jack, Slush." He turned his gaze to the child, grinning faintly. "I'm sure he'd be happy to meet you...." As long as Isto didn't talk much. Keppit Keppit's gaze snapped up... Jack would be the Jivvins that she had heard so much about... and one of the pranksters that helped Moo find her new hairstyle.. then Kep ran her hand through her own mohawk, wishing she had such an excuse.... Jen watched Isto and Slush... this was really bothering him.... Slush was so darn cute.... Jen suddenly wondered if he had ever been like that and at the same time he knew that he had... This.... thing... that Slush and Isto had.... it was the same thing that Isto and Jen had had when Jen was little... and at that very moment Jen made a decision.... a very painful one... but one that satisfied him none-the-less... XBear ((*Sniggers at Jack.* So it IS true! We can be n****e buddies! heart )) *Slush hopped down off of X's lap upon learning Poofy's name, trotting into the living room curiously and with a content look upon his face, unaware of Jen's internal conflict going on. X did however, she gave Jen a concerned look before running her fingers through her soft tresses. Figuring that Slush could handle himself, she decided to stay here, hell, maybe she'd get a chance to talk to Moo a bit, or maybe even Jen... if he didn't bite her head off first.* ((Yay for Jen plot. heart )) Moofuls ((Jack: I never said that!

Moo was nearly finished with Isto's arm. The technology she could fix, but the flesh...would have to heal on it's own. She would bandage it up later. She connected a final wire, then stepped back, beaming proudly at the wounded shoulder. "All fixed!....I think. Tell me if you notice anything wrong, mmK? I'll see what I can do." With that said, she packed her tools back into the kit and hurried over to the counter to fix herself a plate.
Yawning, Isto nodded, experimentally bending his arm, moving his wrist, curving each finger... Wonderful. Smiling wearily, he rose from his chair, glancing after Slush. His smile faltered slightly... He would rather not follow, especially if Jack and Acia were both mad at him, but...maybe they wouldn't yell infront of the kid? 'Course, Acia was only a child herself... So who knew? "I'ma go introduce Slush to the pirate. Anyone else want to come?"
Jack was curled up on the couch, just finishing up his meal. On the seat beside him rested Acia, long since finished and keeping up a constant chatter to entertain her older sibling. Though...it was hard to tell if she were overjoyed or upset. Acia did not get upset often, so one was never really sure when she was... Jack didn't seem to mind either way. He just nodded every so often, concentrating on his meal. Keppit Keppit watched Isto and Slush leave the room.. then she looked at her own Dear Sm... "You going too? " Jen turned... almost surprised... "No... " then he smiled at Keppit and picked a peice of fruit off her plate... Keppt raised an eyebrow at Jen but didn't say any more... except .. " well, you couldasaid please instead of touching my food with a paw you walk on... " XBear ((*Hugs Jack and spins him around.* n****e BUDDIES! heart whee )) Hell yes... It's pirate time...*X got up, taking both her and Slush's dirty dishes to the kitchen, and setting them into the sink, no sure of where to put them exactly. She then hurried back to follow behind Isto, heading into the living room to meet some more of the family.* *Slush hopped skillfully up onto the arm rest, peering down at Jack, and with a voice that closely resembled Bruce's in Finding Nemo, he introduced himself with a tail wag.* "Ello, I'm Slush. *X didn't interrupt, but she did let out a soft chuckle as she heard Slush speak. Giving Isto a sideways glance, she patted his good shoulder and gave him a comforting squeeze, noticing he was a bit tense for some reason.* Moofuls Isto seemed a bit upset by Jen's answer, but he said nothing, leaving the room after Slush.
If anything, Jack seemed surprised that this new Skull Monkey was speaking to him. He glanced to Acia, then grinned faintly, setting his empty plate aside and turning his eyes to Slush. "'Lo there, Slush. S'nice t' meet ya. I'm Jack, and that," he paused, gesturing towards the glider. "Is Acia."

Isto jumped slightly as a hand fell to his shoulder, but he realxed when he realized it was X. He smiled faintly in thanks, folding his arms across his chest, only wincing slightly from moving his metal arm.
Meanwhile, Moo had returned to the table and was idly poking at her food with a fork. Her eyes moved from Keppit, to Jen, to Keppit, to Jen..finally settling on the brown SM. She frowned faintly, watching him curiously. "Something wrong?" Keppit Jen smiled up at Moo... "No nothing thanks... Keppit shook her head... XBear *Slush raised his right paw and waved to Acia, grinning softly.* Acia... You're pretty... *Looking back towards Jack, he caught sight of his pierced ears and grinned wide, jumping up on the back of the couch and peering at his furry pierced ears, his mind turning rapidly. He has animal ears... he has pierced animal ears, and that means that it is possible for him to get his ears pierced before anthroness... Sweet.* Oh sweet! You have metal like Mum! Moofuls Acia would have blushed had she been able to. Instead, she contented herself with chittering in thanks, happily curling up on the couch alongside Jack.
"Metal?" Jack asked, blinking. Metal...metal... Oh, earrings. The Jivvin anthro shrugged, laughing. "Aye, I suppose I do. Ye want t' get your ears pierced?"
Moo smiled faintly, absently taking a bite of her meal. "If you're sure... Just tell me if ya need anything, mmk?" XBear *X just smiled to herself, making sure Slush didn't see it... she knew he was her son, but was that a good thing or a bad thing? We'll she wasn't going to interfer, but they'd talk about it later. Deciding it was time to pipe up, she waved and coughed slightly, interrupting Slush's response.* I want more than just my-- Hey Jack, Acia... I'm X... The pink one's Mum.*Slush looked slightly annoyed at being interrupted, but finished right where he left off.* Anyways, I want more than just my ears pierced... but Mum won't let me yet... Moofuls "Life is..." Moo paused, thinking. Life was...a lot of things. "Eventful," she finally decided, grinning faintly. "But good," she finished, devouring another bite. "You?"
Smiling faintly, Jack nodded a greeting to X, just as Acia did the same beside him. "Pleasure t' meet ye, miss." He chuckled softly as Slush continued, grinning. "Well, soon enough, mate. Moo wouldn' let me get mine 'til I turned anthro."
((I really haveta go...e.< But tomorrow's Friday! So I'll have more time then n_n Good night!!)) Keppit Keppit grinned... "Eh.... Life goes... Things at the Floppi center are a little hectic but it sort of runs itself... other than that.... Not much... " Then she reached over to her former plate and stole a grape... Jen scowled at her... "What? And don't give me that face sir.... It was my plate to being with... " Jen could hear Slush in the other room talking about wanting peircings... well there was something that made Jen and Slush different... Jen had never wanted peircings.... wait... no.... Slush wanted metal.... like isto.... *sigh* he and Jen were the same.... that was too bad. Too bad for Jen. (( biggrin xd )) Edit: ((actually I just realised something... smile Jen and Isto are such good friends... but Isto has always suffered being different and wants to be the same... and Jen has always suffered sameness and wants to be physically different.... it's ironc neh? xd heart )) XBear ((Sorry just got back from crew and I realized I need to shower... and then go eat... and then a movie. gonk But it's Resident 2... so can it be forgivable?)) *Slush nodded, shooting X a pitiful begging look, which X just shook her head to and smiled.* Sorry Doom, maybe when you're an adult.... If it makes you feel any better I had to wait to get my metal too...*Ha, so she had to wait even longer than he did, saweet. Slush grinned happily with that one, and then looked over at Isto expecting to see him in a better mood than he seemed to be in.* What's wrong Sharkie...? Moofuls ((XDDD, Doi, Keppit ;D That's what the whole argument was about, remember? 'Cause Isto kept trying to tell him that different wasn't as great as he thought.

"Eck, I've been terribly busy..." Moo grimaced, absently eating another bite. "One thing after another.... And Acia'll be growing any day now, so she's been driving us crazy with excitement. At least Isto's back, though...so I don't have to worry about that anymore..." Smiling faintly, she glanced over to Jen, cocking her head curiously. "You sure you're alright? You're very...quiet tonight. S'strange."
Isto faught the urge to flinch with his new nickname. Not that he minded Slush calling him 'Sharkie', but... Jack nearly choked with laughter, doubling over in a fit of giggles, tears springing to his eyes. Ignoring him, Isto fixed a smile on his face, grinning down at Slush. "Ehh, nothin'. Just a bit tired, methinks." Keppit (( eek I don't believe that you just Doi'd me!!!!! I may not be all that quick on the uptake but I do know where I'm going with this smile xd heart )) "I'm fine Miss Moo... please don't concern yourself on my behalf... I'm just a little tired I think" and with that Jen went back to Picking at Keppit's/his plate... Keppit smiled... "Acia's adorable.... she's so sweet... You're lucky to have so many of your, children shall we say, living here with you... I've got Jen here" She ruffled up his ear fur, which she knew he hated, but it was one of the few ways to get his attention ... "And of course Tippin and Thebo.... but they live at the Floppi center since they're both adults... Jen here lives with me in the Cabin.... But I'm thinking of moving out of the cabin... " Jen perked his ears up and looked at Keppit.... "Moving out? But where will we live?" Keppit smiled at him... " I was thinking of traveling a good distance with the fourtunettes with Van D'ien.... you on the other hand will probably take the cabin when I leave.... " Jen was shocked and it surely showed on his face.... ((*stands humbled.... So he dawned his most innocent, confused voice and wiped the glare off of his skull, speaking his part very well.* 'Oy, Poofy-tail... what's so funny? *He even went as far as to hop down from the back of the couch, partially to remove himself from temptation, and land into his lap, making sure to paw first his crotch on 'accident'. Mum had done that to dad before, and he sure as hell was in pain, so maybe it'd work now. Slush wasn't too happy about Jack laughing at Isto, especially after he had been missing for a while, so he peered upwards at Jack, keeping his 'innocence' plastered across his features and in a childish manner he pleaded with him.* Pwease...I wanna know so I can laugh too. "Moving?" Moo blinked, lips curving in a faint frown. She momentarily fell silent, staring at her food, but then she glanced back up. Smiling faintly, she turned her eyes first to Jen, then Keppit. "Well... He can stay here, if he'd like." Tapping her fork against the plate, she glanced to Jen. "It's up to you. There's plenty of room, and I'm sure you'd get bored living alone... I know I would."
Slush's words wiped the grin right off Jack's face. He hissed in a mixture of pain and anger when the SM landed on his crotch, carefully lifting Slush just to the side before setting him back down. "Ahh...nothin', kid. Jus' an old joke between me an' Tinpaw here."
Isto was biting his lip to keep from laughing. Ooo, Jack had had that coming for SO long.... Keppit Jen was shocked... first that his mother was offering him the cabin... outright in front of witnesses and second.... that he was also being offered a chance to live here... in this marvelous house... he just sat for a second looking back and forth between the two of them.... "Wel... this looks to be a situation that will require a bit of thought... Thank you for the offer though Moo... " He already knew that he wouldn't accept an offer to live in the same house with Isto... that would ruin all his plans.... (( xd Go slush! )) XBear *Slush kept on with his innocent demenour, giving Jack a worried look when he grimaced.* Poofy are you okay? *He had just decided that 'Poofy-tail' was just too long to be a suitable nickname, so he trimmed off the tail part. Not waiting for an answer, he curled up in Jack's lap and nuzzled against him, layering on the cuteness as he purred slightly, looking up at Poofy and waiting for an answer. X just stood there in awe of the Doominator's manipulating capabilites, deciding that he was definately her son at that moment.* Moofuls "The offer's always open," replied Moo, smiling. "Just...gimme a couple days heads up before you move in, if you decide to, alright? We'll need to fix you a room..." Really, one more creature wouldn't hurt at all. And Jen was nice, plus he was good friends with Isto. So...Yah, it'd be fine n_n
Jack automatically began petting the SM curled up on his lap, fighting to keep a smile on his face. DAMMIT, that HURT, gah, stupid little- "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine...." Well....maybe it was an accident? ....Damn little monkeys..... Keppit Jen started to feel a little ill... He couldn't sit here much longer.... this was all too much... all he had wanted was to avoid Isto and Slush... that was all... and now here he was getting invited in to live with Isto... Time to leave... Keppit had a worried look on her face... "Jen, love, You alright?" "Scuse me.... Moo... but where's your restroom?" Moo pointed it out and Jen took off... Keppit was left staring after him... wondering if he was really ill or just escaping.... she knew him too well and guessed escaping... XBear *Slush honestly was enjoying the pets, as well as the strained look on Jack's face, so he murred happily and rolled around in his lap. Looking up at Sharkie, he wondered what his reaction had been, and upon seeing his struggle to contain laughter, Slush grinned wider and murred louder.* Well I'm going to go talk to Moo...Nice to mee you Jack, and Acia.*And with a wave X left the living room and returned to the kitchen, reclaiming her seat and smiling to Moo.* You've raised Isto well... you should be proud. Moofuls Moo's hand fell back to her side as Jen ran off. She grimaced slightly, frowning over at Keppit, absently picking at the remaining food on her plate. "Poor guy... I can tell something's bothering him, but I've no idea what... Do you?"
Still sturggling to restrain giggles, Isto stepped over to a free easy-chair, collapsing onto it. He sighed softly in pure delight just from being able to relax, eyes falling closed. Mmm.... he wouldn't go to sleep, just...rest his eyes for a bit...
"Nice meeting you, too," Jack murmured in reply. Acia squeaked an agreement, waving goodbye as X left the room. Rolling...on...sore...crotch... Jack hissed through his teeth, forcing himself to smile. Damn...little....monkey....GRAG, pain....
Moo waved a greeting as X returned to the kitchen, flushing with delight at the complement. Though she seemed a bit skeptical... "Really? You think so? He worries me sometimes... Not home very often, 'cept at night... But...he is very helpful when he is around. Very good babysitter, Isto." Keppit Keppit turned and smiled appologetically to moo... "Well... yes.... But I have to say that I don't think it would be fair of me to discuss it when he hasn't told me about it.... " She looked a little worried "I had actually hoped that he would tell Isto and thus get it off his chest.... but seeing him around Isto today... I dunno... He's starting to worry me... especially with that sudden mood change durring dinner.... " She turned and waved to X... "You left the pink one in the company of pirates? " Jen made it to the bathroom... he was so quick in getting to the mirror that he had forgotten to lock the door.. "it's not going to work you know... all these things are like omens for you... You're not going to be able to aviod Isto or slush... " he turned and looked at the window... tried to open it but no go... No.... anyway leaving would make Keppit worried and worried always led to mad... best to stay.... but... in here for a while.... away from everyone else... XBear Oh Slush? He's in there getting passive agressive revenge on Jack for making fun of his nickname for Isto... I had to leave or else I would've burst out laughing...*X lazied down into the chair, which was quite comfortable before answering Moo's doubting question.* He's just a boy, and he's obviously confused and angry about a few things in his life... but he's strong, he'll sort it out. It just may take a bit...*Slush continued to murr and roll about happily on Poofy's lap, looking over at Sharkie once again.* So Sharkie, which one of you is the older one? You or Poofy? Moofuls ((Harr, harr, harr....*Flicks her mohawk*))
"Ahh....well, I'm sure he'll have a chance to speak with Isto some time this evening. He can't go to bed until I bandage up his arm, so...he'll prolly be up for a while. It's odd for Jen to want to talk to him...and then just not want to anymore."
She blinked, disguising a snicker with a cough at X's statement. "Passive aggressive, hmm? I can imagine... Jack's had that coming for a while now. 'Bout time someone did something... An' I'm glad it was Slush. Jack won't hurt him, 'cause he's little." Her smile faded slightly, eyes turning towards the table. "Yeah...maybe.... I'm just glad he's back. He's been rather distant since he was struck by lightning... At least, with me, anyway."
The sound of his nickname woke Isto from his doze. Yawning, he opened on eyes, smiling faintly and glancing over to Slush. "Jack, err...Poofy' -snicker- "Is, though not by much... and I was anthro first." Keppit Keppit grinned... she had always been a fan of passive aggression smile .... It always had that wonderful amusing potential smile .... She sat back and remembered the night that Isto had been struck by lighting... yeah... not to hard to remember, really... Jen sat himself down on the counter.... If he didn't go back to the kitchen soon then his mother would come and find him.. he knew that.... He'd be ok pressing his luck for a little while longer though.. ((dinner.... Brb... )) XBear That's cool... I can't wait to be a fifth stager... cause then I can kiss like Mum and Dad do... looks like fun, is it fun Sharkie? *Slightly tired, Slush flopped over atop of Jack's lap, letting his skull flop down on his crotch, looking over at Isto with a dreamy smile. X was in the other room, chuckling softly at Moo's attempt at coverup. Hearing the lightning comment, she stopped chuckling and gave Moo a confused look.* Lightning...what are you talking about?((Sorry took so long, working on a paper.)) Isto chuckled softly with Slush's queary, relaxing back in his chair with his head propped on his hands. Grinning, he nodded, blushing only faintly. "Mmhmm... It's well worth the wait, Slush." Normally, Jack would have used this oppertunity to tease his brother, but as it was he was very SORE, and there was a skull on his CROTCH. He grit his teeth, fixing a grin on his face, trying not to glare at the little monkey on his lap...
Moo calmly looks up, glancing curiously to X. "Oh, didn't you know? Isto was struck by lightening a while back. His arm attracted it, methinks... If Jen and Diro hadn't a found him, he probably wouldn't have survived the night..." She shudders slightly with the memory of that night, but then smiles faintly, picking at her food. "Countless burns and a broken shoulder later, and he's fine." Keppit Keppit smiles... "And he's turned out an upstanding fellow... and neither Jen nor Diro are any worse for the expeience either.... In fact, that's what started Jen worshiping Isto the way that he does..." Jen decided that he'd spent enough time in the bathroom... he looked himself over in the mirror and straightend hir fur and gave his skull a little polish... then went out into the hall... but he found that he had a problem... he had been in such a rush that he didn't remember which way he had come from.... then he heard Keppit laugh and X laugh and he went in that direction.... but instead ending up joining Isto, Slush, Jack and Acia in the livingroom.... He sighed and then made himself smile... "Hi... what's going on?" ((also working smile )) XBear *Slush grinned and waved at Jen, sitting up for a moment and then plopping his skull back down into Jack's lap, grinning over at Isto excitedly.* I can't wait! I wonder who I'll end up kissing first, and if I'll kiss a girl or boy first. I bet they kiss differently, boys and girls, but it'll be a good different ya know? Variety, being different is good... *X just dropped her jaw, poor Isto, he has seeming been having the worst of luck lately, with the lightning and the attack in the woods. This just confirmed her belief that Isto was indeed strong of mind and heart, and she assumed physically as well, since he had to support his metal arm all the time.* Oh man, like I said, he's a strong boy...*Noticing the time, she wondered where Jen was.* Um... Keppit, do you think Jen's alright in the bathroom?

Moo's House cont. Moofuls "Aye...but...." Moo shrugged, setting her fork down on her plate. "The lightening was a while ago, so he's had a long time to heal. Summat else happened recently, too... I didn't get all the details. Something to do with some shadow wolves and a squid. Probably the same sort of thing that hurt his arm this time..." Again she shrugged, rising to her feet and picking up the plate. "A bit accident prone, but he sticks it out... Tough kid."
Isto waved a greeting to Jen with his normal hand, curling up on the chair. "Glad you could join us... Just talking." He smiled faintly, then turned his eyes back to the chattering child, blinking back his surprise at Slush's comment. After a moment, he chuckled softly, stealing a glance over to jack. "Who knows... mmhmm, variety is good."
Jack was scared. Little PINK male skull monkey sitting on his CROTCH and talking about kissing guys. Annnnd Isto was agreeing with him!? Eck, it was time for Jack to make his exit. The Jivvin anthro lifted Slush from his lap, then set him on the couch beside him, rising to his feet moments later. "You comin', Acia?"
The glider had lost track of the conversation quite some time ago and readily agreed, chittering a good-bye to the Skull Monkeys before climbing up to Jack's shoulder. Without a word, the pair left the room, heading off to another part of the house... Isto snickered. Keppit Keppit picked up the plate that jen had left behind and set it in the sink.... "I'm going to go and check on him" she walked to the doorway and saw him standing in the livingroom... looking back and forth between slush and Isto... "Actually I don't have to... He's in the living room.... " She went back and sat down.... "Jen's never been in any real fights that I know of... he wrestles all the time, but if you've ever heard his wrestling rules you'd know that it isn't real fighting.... " she grinned. Jen waved to both Isto and Slush and his paw fel back down to the ground just in time to hear Slush's 'kissing guys and girls comment' and to face it.... he was shocked... here was this little Pink monkey talking about it like he thought that it was common practice... Jen looked back and forth and back and forth between Isto and Slush to see how they both were reacting... and it was normally as far as he could tell... so he moverd away from the door as Jack and Acia went through it and sat himself down in an armchair... ((poor Moo.... smile We'll see you again . )) XBear *Slush wondered why Poofy so abruptly quit petting him and left with the cute Acia, but was easily distracted with both Isto's positive response to his earlier comment as well as Jen's movement into an armchair. He rolled back over onto his back, flicking his paws in the air and letting his tail flicker about.* Oy Sharkie, how sore do you think Poofy is now? *He chuckled and looked over at Jen after watching Isto, he flicked his tail at him and grinned, apparently forgetting the eye roll from earlier.* How are you Jen? That yummy food and Poofy's face made me happy. *X looked over at Keppit and then to Moo, remembering the day she and Slush had met Isto, Jen was there too, and neither him nor Isto looked too happy about what they had been talking about. However, she didn't really know what had happened, so she left the ideas she had in the back of her mind. * Moofuls It was all too much. Jack and Acia had left the room... and Slush had just admitted that everthing he'd done to Jack was intentional. Isto double over laughing, wincing slightly from the pain this caused his shoulder, but paying it no heed. "Pretty damn sore, Slush.... Ahh, that was brilliant." With some difficulty, he managed to restrain his laughter, removing his glasses and wiping tears from his eyes before replacing them. Still chuckling softly, he slumped down in his seat, mentally replying the last few minutes. Ahh, that had really cheered him up.
"Isto fights..." Moo murmured quietly, setting her plate in the sink atops Keppit's. She'd wash them later. "Not often, unless he absolutely has to... But sometimes he just gets pushed over the edge, you know?" She didn't bother to elaborate, mind dwelling on the fight with Remy a few days previously... True, she hadn't witnessed it herself, but she'd heard enough from those who had... If Mauli hadn't stopped him, Isto likely would have hurt the teal SM much worse than he had. Keppit Keppit grinned at Moo... Jen turend to Slush... "Aye, I'm full too... Moo makes good food..." Isto was still doubled up in laughter, and it made Jen half smile to see him happy... and it was Slush that was making Isto that way... Jen had only made Isto mad... Well no more... after this. "So, Slush... Whatcha do for a living? " Jen grinned XBear *Living? Slush looked slightly perplexed at this question, he was but a child, he knew nothing other than play, sleep, and food it seemed. Wait, he did know about friendship, that his friends were important to him, but was that even considered a living? Making his friends happy, protecting them from harm. That's what he wanted to do, make his friends happy, so after much hesitation, he answered.* I know I want to live to protect and make my friends happy... Maybe... live to love? I don't know... what about you Jen... Sharkie? *X smiled and nodded to herself before thoughtfully addressing Moo again.* So Isto's loyal then I'm guessing, what happened with him an Mauli, I've just heard rumors...Moofuls ((Awww....see ya later, Keppit...))
With Jen's question, Isto fell silent, listening curiously for Slush's reply. A faint smile touched his lips at the younger SM's comments, but it soon faded with his queary. Remaining silent, Isto slumped back in his chair, considering his words before speaking. "I...dunno. I just kind of help out whenever I'm needed. I've done construction work for people who couldn't afford it professionally, I help out Moo with the Jivvins Center, performed a few rescues..." He shrugged, winced fromt the pain this caused his shoulder, then grinned. "Whatever I'm needed for."
"Ehh..." Moo shrugged, walking over to take her seat at the table. "From what I hear, it was a stupid little argument with...huge results. S'prolly better that they broke up, though, if they can't stay together for three days without arguing. I'm honestly not completely sure what happened... I didn't witness it. I just know that he and Remy got into a fight the day after his argument with Mauli, and he ended up coming pretty close to badly hurting Remy. Mauli stopped him, thankfully..." She paused, grimacing, and again shrugged. "He left just after that, so we were all worried about where he'd gone...This is the first I've seen him since then." Keppit Jen half smiled at Slush... "That's a good attitude I think. I dunno what I do.... or even aspire to do. Probably close to the same I think... maybe... that and my music. I admire your devotion to your friends." He let himself slouch down a little further... Keppit kept quiet... she'd only heard about Isto and Mauli from outside gossip... so she just assumed that what she knew about it couldn't be true.... XBear *Yawning and rolling over onto his back, Slush acknowledged Jen's answer with a smile and a tail flick. He was getting tired, but he was so comfortable there, considering he wasn't being snuggled like he loved, and he was enjoying the company of Sharkie and Jen, mostly Sharkie though, Jen didn't seem to like him. He turned his head to Jen and gave him a cheeky grin.* Everyone deserves to be happy... *In the other room, X just shook her head, she knew how Isto felt, I'm sure most people had been through something of the sorts before, and it was not fun.* The one thing I don't miss about dating... all the ******** teenage...ness.Moofuls "Everyone deserves to be happy," Isto repeated, grinning over at Jen. He was glad the brown SM had joined them. Whatever had been bothering him earlier didn't seem to be anymore, for which Isto was grateful. Earlier, Isto had been worried that Jen was still mad at him. He'd certainly been acting that way... He much preferred Jen happy.
In the kitchen, Moo nodded her agreement with X's statement, sighing softly. "I just feel bad for him, I guess. He never really had any close friends among the SMs, up until Jen." She flashed Keppit a quick smile, then continued. "He didn't even know Mauli well until he was an adult. And then this happens..." She shrugged. Keppit Slush and Isto "Everyone deserves to be happy" The phrase echo'd in his head.... they were right. And then Isto turned to him and grinned.... so he grinned back.... that was that... Isto was happy around Slush and Slush was happy around Isto.... lately whenever Jen and Isto were around each other one only succeded in making the other mad... no... Jen only succeded in making Isto mad.... therefore Jen decided that after this he was going to leave Isto to friends who could keep him happy... not send him off into the woods to get mauled, or into the lake to drown, or under the den to get eaten alive by rats... Isto was better without Jen... It was a very painful decision, one that took his friend count down to three.... but a strong and logical one none-the-less.... "Everyone deserves to be happy" Keppit grinned back at Moo at the mention of Jen's name... "Jen's lucky to have Isto and Slush as friends... " ((eipe... crying ... I'm sorta making myself sad with Jen... I need to Rp a cheerful pet *grin* )) Keppit ((don't shoot me... taking my turn out of turn so you two can go on without me for a while *grin)) Jen sighed and made himself sit up... the chair was very comfortable... and who wants to leave the complany of friends... especialy for the last time... He sniffed.. "I'm a little tired. I think I'm gonna go and find my mom and see if she's ready to go now..." He pushed himself up and out of the chair... and walked over to Slush... he stood on his hinds legs and looked at Slush... "You're a good kid... I like you. Keep an eye on that one for me, Ok?" He pointed at Isto and grinned... then he ruffled Slush's ear fur like his mom always did to him and gave Slush a hug... then Jen turned to Isto... "G'night... " And he half smiled and walked right out the living room. Keppit leaned back in the chair... leaned it right back on two legs... then Jen walked in the room, and she jerked back upright so the chair was back on all fours... She was forever telling Jen not to tip chairs., and it probably wouldn't be good to be seen playing at double standards... "Mom, can we go home?" "That's not very nice... " She gave him a stern look.. "I'm just tired is all.... " "Well, I'm not done talking to Moo and X, But I think that I'll excuse myself for a minute... you and I need to talk... Pardon me ladies." She stood and walked out the front door... Jen followed... ((continue and have fun... )) ((g'night)) XBear *Slush gave Jen a confused look, which was quickly cut off by a scruffing of ear fur and then a hug. 'Keep an eye on that one for me...?' What did Jen mean by that? Certainly since they were all friends and would see eachother as much as possible... to make eachother happy right? Sighing happily but in a confused manner, Slush gave him a full blown smile and hugged the brown SM back, giving Isto a happy look as well.* I'll see you soon Jen! Well now he had two more friends, both Slush and I... so he can add both of us to the list...*X looked between Keppit and Jen after the SM came in curiously and quietly, not knowing what was going on, but waving to her as she excused herself.* Nice meeting you Keppit... Jen...Moofuls Surprised by this sudden turn of events, Isto waved vaguely in good-bye, watching the brown SM curiously. Jen was just...leaving? Just when he'd cheered up? Isto sighed, but smiled faintly, more for the benefit of the two younger SMs than himself. "Alright... See ya, Jen! Good night!"
"Don't worry about it, Keppit." As the woman turned away, Moo flashed Jen a 'good luck' grin, winking. Once they had gone, she turned her eyes back to X, smiling. "I'm glad... Isto needs more friends outside of the family. How did he meet you two, anyway? I don't believe I've seen you around HQ before... Nor Slush, for that matter. He's still rather young, aye?" XBear I took him to HQs the other day when he was still an infant, and he saw the lake and tore off after it, where Isto was swimming I think. Jen was there too, neither of them looked to happy actually... But anyways, Slush and Isto played... then the came out of the water and Isto and I talked after Doominator fell asleep... And that about sums it up.*X smiled after recalling that day's events, Isto had looked a lot happier out of the water than when she first saw him.* *Slush eyed up Isto's lap longingly, giving him puppy dog eyes as he wriggled about on his back. Anyways, speaking of deserving to be happy, was Sharkie happy?* Sharkie, are you happy? You deserve to be... Moofuls "Swimming?" asked Moo, frowning faintly. Since when did Isto willingly swim? Well, he must've stayed in the shallows, then. "Ahh, I see. S'odd, I don't think I've ever seen Isto swim willingly. The water usually knocks out whatever makes his arm work, and it drags him down. He's almost drowned a couple of times, methinks..." She shrugged, grinning faintly. "Well, maybe he's trying to work past that. Can't say I blame him.."
Taking the hint, Isto rolled his eyes, then gestured the pink SM over. He smiled faintly, considering Slush's question. "Umm... I...guess I'm happy, sometimes. Dunno, lately I haven't been too happy... but things are lookin' up, eh?" XBear *X gave her a confused look before speaking again.* Isto was pretty far out there... almost to the point where he needed to tread water... but I couldn't see what was going on from the shore...*Grinning, Slush rolled over and hopped off the couch in one fluid motion, trotting over to Isto's chair and jumping carefully up onto his lap, making sure not to do a Jack repeat. He curled up on his lap and nuzzled against his bare hip, his lower ear trailing along his pants line as a consequence.* Why haven't you been happy...? Moofuls Moo's frown grew more pronounced with X's words. She searched her mind for an explanation, gnawing her bottom lip thoughtfully. "That's...odd. Isto doesn't go in water much deeper than his chest. If he does, he sinks. It's that simple..."
Almost automatically, Isto began petting the pink SM's back, keeping his eyes carefully averted from Slush's. He shrugged slightly, winced, then relaxed, once again leaning back in his chair. "Lots has happened the past few days..." XBear *X seemed to be piecing things together, thank god for Slush and his happy attitude. Her eyes drifted to her wrist and the huge gash of a scar that ran from her inner wrist and then up to her elbow, and once again she thought... thank god for Slush.* I guess things do happen for a reason...*Slush frowned, he didn't like him being unhappy, or anyone that made him feel bad. Wait, he was with Sharkie, and he wasn't happy... he had done something to make him sad.* Did I make you sad? I'm sorry if I did, I wasn't trying to I promise... Moofuls The same thoughts seemed to slowly be occuring to Moo, as much as she tried to deny them. She sighed softly, lightly rubbing her temple with two fingers, glancing towards the living room out of the corner of her eye. Yeah.... Yeah, I'm...really glad you and Slush showed up. Isto would never...do something like that infront of an infant. I...didn't think he would do it at all."
Blinking, Isto glanced down to the SM on his lap, grinning faintly and shaking his head. "Not at all, kid. You cheered me up! A lot, trust me. I should be thanking you..." His hand continued to absently wander Slush's back, scratching through the pink fur. It was comforting, in a way. A nice end to the day, just to be able to relax... XBear He didn't seem like he was too distressed when he came up from the lake with Slush, he actually seemed quite happy...Come to think of it, those two have gotten pretty close, considering their age difference.*X put her hand on Moo's back and tugged her into a hug.* Don't blame yourself.*Slush felt a bit better since Sharkie said that, so he continued nuzzling against his bare stomach, it felt good, comforting. He suddenly wanted to be an adult at that very moment, really badly, maybe he would understand things better and he could do all the stuff he saw mum and dad doing, when ever he want... oh and the piercings. He suddenly snapped out of his trance, looking up at Isto and speaking softly.* Okay... Talk to me when you're sad... so I can make you feel better kay? Moofuls Aye, X was right... Isto had cheered up, and he would be fine, and....and it wasn't her fault, right? The hug also helped considerably. She managed a faint smile of thanks, nodding in reply. "Aye, and.... Maybe...maybe he wasn't planning to... you know? 'Cause Jen was there too, and I don't think Isto would... Nevermind, just...thanks for being there."
Isto found that he was more comfortable than he'd been in days, despite the constant throb from his injured shoulder. The chair was comfy and warm, and Slush's nuzzles just added to the overall effect...Now if only there had been a conviently placed fireplace, everything would be perfect. When Slush looked up, he nodded, grin fading to a warm smile. "Will do, Slush. And the same for you. You need anything...just tell me, alright?" XBear *She didn't want to tell her that Jen definately wasn't happy when she and Slush were out at the lake. Instead she just continued to hug Moo till she was ready to let go, whenever that was.* Don't mention it, that's what friends are for.*Slush nodded against his stomach, murring slightly, and then an idea popped into his head, he smirked, and then nipped his hip, followed by a light lick. He had seen mum do that and get a rather interesting reaction out of dad, so he decided to try it on Sharkie. Once he had nipped him softly, he went back to murring happily and nuzzling against him like nothing had happened.* I will Sharkie... thanks. Moofuls Gradually Moo relaxed, sighing deeply before pulling out of X's embrace. She managed a faint smile, absently flicking her mohawk back into place; it had wilted sideways. "Still...thanks. I'munna... Well, I think he'll be fine. He certainly seemed happier, and now he's got you and Slush too...so things'll work out, right?" It was hard to tell if the final comment were a statement or a question. Possibly both.
Isto jumped slightly with the unexpected n**, blinking curiously down at the pink SM. He found himself murring softly, and quickly stiffled it, grinning sheepishly and ruffling the fur along Slush's neck. He chuckled softly at Slush's affected innocence, laughter fading back to a soft murr as he relaxed. "No problem, kid..." XBear Things will work out Moo... they always seem to.*She spoke in a solid voice, not waivering so that she wouldn't give Moo a chance to doubt it.* *Kid? Yes kid, he sadly was still a child, but that didn't mean he couldn't continue to whore himself up to Isto, which he did, as innocent as possible. Nuzzling against him he continued to murr happily, leaning his skull up against his lower abs and closing his eyes. Whoring would have to wait, it was now offically snuggling the yummy Sharkie time.* Moofuls "Good," Moo murmured, sighing audibly in relief. She sounded so confident...it was hard not to believe her. She smiled faintly, then yawned, glancing to the clock... "I'munna go fix up his shoulder, methinks. I'll need to bandage it before her goes to bed... He's probably tired." She rose from her chair, glanced the way Keppit had gone, then back to X, smiling faintly. "You can come if you'd like. Slush is in there, after all..."
Once again, Isto was struck by how comfortable he was. His mind was otherwise blank with wearyness, thoughts dwelling on this one subject. His eyes slowly fell closed, head lolling back against the chair. He wouldn't allow himself to sleep just yet; Moo still hadn't bandaged his shoulder, but his eyes hurt...so he could rest them for a short while. His normal fingers continued to absently scratch through Slush's fur, lips curved in a tired smile. At that moment, he was extremely relieved that he hadn't continued into the lake. XBear *X got up and began to follow Moo into the living room, betting to herself that Slush was getting pet in some way, shape, or form in his lap or arms. Slush liked him a lot she knew, and that definately meant he would want to snuggle with him, which would also mean that he would be hard to pry off of Isto as well.* I think they both are...*Slush ignored the movement that seemed to be coming into the room and continued to nuzzle against Isto every so often, the time increasing between nuzzles as he began to fall asleep. The murring continued as Slush slept it seemed, though it was just soft enough for Isto to feel against his stomach.* Keppit Keppit and Jen stepped into the entry hall, Keppit glancing back uneasily back at the doors.... they creeped her out. She had told Jen what she had wanted him to know, and as usual, he had responed that he was fine and that nothing was wrong... Keppit knew he was lying but didn't press it further... Jen opted to stay in the hall, and Keppit went through to the kitchen to look for Moo and X... no go... they must be in the living room.... she walked though and sure enough there they were... "Hiya... back " She smiled. Moofuls Isto failed to notice the entrance of the owners, opening one eye only when he heard Keppit speak. He smiled faintly, yawned, then opened the other, catching sight of the bandages held in Moo's hands. Careful not to awaken Slush, he sat up somewhat straighter, motioning them to stay quiet.
"Welcome back," Moo whispered when Keppit returned. However, her eyes remained on the pair in the chair, fighting to stiffle giggles. It was cute, she had to admit, but seemed somewhat out of place when one noticed the mohawk and torn open shoulder. With a nod she assured Isto that she would be quiet and moved around to his wounded shoulder. She carefully lifted the metal arm to the armrest, to an appropriate angle for the bandages. "This won't take long." XBear *X smiled as she saw the two, then waved to Keppit when she heard her come in. She wondered how Jen was doing, he didn't look to happy when he came in earlier, which caused her to wonder, was Jen ever happy? Turning her eyes back to the pair curled up together, she began to wonder about Monkey, missing his touch (she was jealous of the two SMs it seemed.)* Yall look comfortable...*She spoke in a slight whisper, watching Slush snuggle and adjust himself to Isto's slight movement, a soft chortle escaping his skull.* Keppit Keppit waved and saw Slush all curled up on Isto's lap... It was cute... Then she thought that might have been the reason that Jen had wanted to leave... well if he was going to act like that then he could very well stay in the hall...she missed the happy questioning Jen... ((grin... yes he used to be happy... and he will again smile )) ... she looked down at Slush... he was a cute kid... and she said as much... in a whisper though.. "he's a cute kid... " Moofuls Chuckling softly, Isto focused his attention on the two owners near the door, trying to to flinch as Moo bandaged his shoulder. She was wrapping it rather tight....but he figured she knew best. It would probably tear on the metal or just fall off if she didn't. His hand absently resumed petting the pink SM when Slush snuggled against him, smiling faintly. "He's good company."
Within a few minutes, Moo had finished up and neatly tied the bandage, stepping back to eye her work. "We'll have to change it again tomorrow night, and I'll recheck the wires then... But it should heal neatly." XBear *X ran her fingertips through her hair as she took a seat where Slush had been before curling up in Isto's lap, watching Moo work with admiration. With a soft yawn, she layed down on the couch and continued to watch everyone quietly. Slush just continue his in-sleep snuggling and murring, no doubt 'enduring' very pleasent dreams.* Keppit Keppit remembered that Moo had said that Isto was probably going to want to sleep after he got all bandaged... so Keppit stood still with her hands in her pockets... ((ah that would make my hands warm again... *grin*)) She was already ready to pack up Jen and head home... she didn't want to intrude upon Moo's generosity to company... Moofuls Satisfied that the bandages would hold, Moo glanced up, smiling faintly and ruffling up Isto's mohawk. "Get some rest soon, alright. I'm guessing you didn't get much sleep last night...hmm?"
Nodding, Isto yawned, not even bothering to fix his mohawk. "Actually... I think I'll head to bed now. Thanks for your help," he murmured, smiling over to Keppit and X. Trying not to wake him, Isto carefully scooped Slush into the crook of his normal arm, then slowly rose to his feet, stepping over to return the child to his owner. He flashed X a quick grin, whispered 'good night' to all in the room, then turned and silently walked out, heading for the kitchen. The closest staircase was just on the other side...

Moo watched him go, then turned back to X and Keppit, grinning faintly. "You're welcome to stay the night, if you'd like. We have plenty of extra rooms. 'Twould be no problem at all." XBear *She took the sleeping furball from Isto and carefully sat up with him, making sure not to jostle him too much. Smiling, she gave Isto a look of thanks and whispered softly.* Sleep well Isto...*Looking over at Moo, she nodded and stood up, yawning again.* A room would be nice if it's not a bother, I'm tired but I don't want to be rude...Keppit Keppit smiled... "That would be nice... I'd hate to impose though...." Keppit moved over to the sofa and sat down... yawning... your house is so big... Jen and I live in a two room cabin just outside of Barton... it's in the middle of the woods... Jen claims that it's in th middle of nowhere but I know he loves it there..." she sits up... "Actually if it is alright I'd better go and tell Jen... he's still waiting in the hallway for me to go." she grinned... "He' better in the company of other monkeys and I think that I'm too tired to drive all that way." Jen heard a step and turned expecting to see his mother... but no... It was Isto... Jen sighed... he did that a lot lately ... that and rolling his eyes... he'd have to make an effort to stop those things... "You know Isto... You seem to have a knack for ruining all my plans... Tell me that you're off to sleep... You look a wreck, a mending wreck, but a wreck none-the-less..." Moofuls "Psh, not at all," Moo chuckled, nodding towards a door on the other end of the living room. "It's not rude, I offered. Follow me, I'll show you to your rooms. They'll be on the second floor... Isto and Jack have layed claim to the third, and fourth and fifth are off limits to just about everyone... They're just not safe, you see." She didn't bother to elaborate, just waited for Keppit's return before stepping towards the door.
"I inherited the House from some distant relative," she explained to Keppit as they walked. "Great great uncle or summat. Terribly creepy place... but it's much bigger than the farmhouse we used to live in. Our family's just too big to fit in the farmhouse anymore, so we came here."
"Plans?" Isto muttered, yawning. He was surprised to see Jen there. True, Keppit was still here, but all the same... "Yeah, I was headin' to bed... what plans?" Now he was curious. Dangit...he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep until Jen explained. Figures, don't it? Keppit Jen shook his head and half smiled... "It's not for now... Mom and I are about to leave.." Just then Keppit popped her head around the door... "Jen, Love... Moo has offered us a place for the night, so we'll be staying here... I'm going upstairs now, and hopefully crash into a nice materess soon... I do hope that you'll join me at some time durring the night instead of standing here? " Jen just stared at her shocked... she tried not to laugh... and walked over she gave him a quick kiss on the forehead... "I love you, Don't stay here all night please... " and with that she walked back to where Moo and X were waiting for her... Jen turned his head slowly ... and shook it at Isto... then he walked over and sat down on the stairs... head dropping... "Alright... if you must know... I decided that you and I shouldn't... no, can't be friends anymore... for both our sakes... so I decided that tonight would be the last time that I ever saw you." He turned and looked up at Isto to see what his reaction was... Moofuls Isto simply stared. Jen couldn't possibly be serious....could he? Sighing, Isto sunk into a chair, holding his face in his hands, absently rubbing his temples. He did not need this tonight... It was late, he was tired, and his shoulder had started throbbing again. After a few minutes he looked up, resting his head on his metal hand. "You just....don't want to be friends anymore? Just like that??" He fell momentarily silent, then blurted out, "Why?! Are you still mad at me about yesterday? Jen, you're my best friend, you can't just...not talk to me anymore." XBear *X followed Moo to wherever she was leading them to, with Slush tucked securely in her arms, wondering to herself about the fourth and fifth floors.* What exactly... are on... the fourth and fifth floors? If you don't mind me asking... Keppit Keppit followed Moo and X... only slightly currious to know about the upper floors... mostly tired... smile Jen looked horified... "Isto... no, I don't.... It's not like that... *Sigh* I'm not mad at you. It's very hard to stay mad at someone like you. It's just... it's all logical... if... if you think it through. Lately everytime that you and I are around each other, one of us makes the other mad... usualy I make you mad, and It's becuase I don't know how to say what I'm thinking right now... Look at Slush... he's the same that I was... and... " Jen pauses and just stares at Isto... "He can make you smile... I can't do that anymore... Can't you see? He's even going to be fifth like you... I'll never be fifth... Slush is not only my replacement... he's a newer improved model... Last time you and I spoke, I don't know what you were doing... but you were up to your neck in the lake. Albeit there's no giant squid there... but if I'm the one that sends you to such lengths then I need to leave... besides... it's not fair to you that I... I't not fair to either of us..." He fell silent for a second... "I'm not mad at you... in fact it breaks my soul to do this... But I have to... for you." Moofuls "The fifth floor's infested," Moo calmly stated, leading the way up the stairs. "Hundreds and hundreds of spirit...things. Very dangerous. But there's a charm on the house, so they rarely escape that floor.... Sometimes they do, however, which is why we've barred off the fourth floor and given the third to Isto and Jack. They make sure any spirits that escape don't make it much further."It all made perfect sense to Moo, but it would likely confuse her guests. Mentioning the spirits usually did, anyway. They weren't exactly spirits...though it was hard to describe them as anything else. Best just to leave it at that.
"Replacement?" Isto stared at his friend, shocked. Did Jen really think Slush was a replacement? Slush was just some kid who Isto happened to have met and befriended, that didn't make him...a replacement. Though, when he thought about it, Jen did have a point... They'd been fighting often, and Slush was a lot like Jen had been, and Isto had sorta...kinda... well, yeah, he'd been neglecting Jen. But he hadn't meant to! It had just...happened. "He's not replacing you, Jen, and... And it wasn't your fault at the lake, so don't even begin to think that. Things just added up. Everything had gotten so good and then, out of the blue, it all fell apart...Listen, just, I dunno, give me another chance or something. It wasn't you upsetting me, Jen. Please don't just leave... Everyone's just leaving..." His gaze left the brown SM with his final comment, eyes turning back to the floor, head bowed and face hidden in his normal hand. XBear *X just nodded and continued to follow behind Moo and Keppit, thinking to herself and yawning... again.* Sounds like an interesting story for another time.Keppit Yawning was contagiuos... and so Keppit yawned right after X... and then she grinned at Moo... "So, just generally what do I say if one of these spooks comes to the bedroom door and asks for a drink of water? " Jen looked up unsmiling... "I'm gay, Isto... " He let that hang in the air for about a minute... then he felt the need to punctuate that... "Bent, twisted, different, homosexual, fruity, Happy.... just generally I like men.... and the reason that it's not fair for me to be around you is because.... IthinkI'mfallinginlovewithyou... and it's not even fair of me to tell you that!" He crunched up in a little ball for a second... then he sat up again... not looking at poor Isto... "And the worst part is I love the Sm that I see when you laugh, when you fight, and expecially the Sm who thinks that nobody likes him........................... I want you to be happy, and if that's Mauli, then I wish you Mauli, and if it's Slush then I wish you slush... and if it's some super model somewhere, then I hope to whatever god is out there that you get her... but I know that you can't love me... and I would NEVER ask such a thing... or even dare to hope for it......and that's the only reason that I decide to leave... " Tears came to his eyes... "It's like you said before... Can't snog a monkey..... " He half smiled and didn't move.... he just waited... waited for isto to explode at him, angry... he thought for a fleeting second that it might actually be better if Isto tore him to peices.... little tiny peices... Moofuls Moo laughed, turning down a hallway as they reached the top. "You'd best hope you don't see one. But if you do, just shout until someone finds you. Mauli's room's near yours, and she has a weapon that'll work against them, so she'd be your best bet. Isto and Jack'd prolly take longer getting there. Er...don't let it touch you, kay?"
Isto choked. Not a 'hackcoughwheezehelpmythroatisstuck' choke, but he simply couldn't breathe. Clearing his throat, he managed a quiet "Oh...", keeping his eyes carefully averted from the brown SM. That explained...a lot. Isto wasn't quite sure how to reply. So he didn't, remaining silent for the next few minutes, mentally re-running everything Jen had just said. Finally he looked up, speaking quietly. "Listen, Jen... Everything is...really, really weird right now. What with Mauli...and you...and Slush, and.. I'm really not ready to make any decisions just yet about...anything...at all. Umm..." He paused, gnawing his bottom lip thoughtfully.
"For now, though... I don't want us to stop being friends because of this, alright? I don't have a love interest, I don't -want- a love interest... Not just yet. Not after that whole thing with Mauli. Umm..." He sighed softly, then glanced over to Jen, managing a faint smile. "If it helps any... I'munna do everything I can to help you get Fifth, alright?" XBear *X gave a shifted glance to Keppit and chewed on her lip lightly, though she was immortal, she wondered what would exactly happen if a 'spook' touched her skin. Actually, she didn't really want to know, sleep would be nice.* Keppit Keppit grabbed the banister and raised an eyebrow at Moo... "Start a joke and get really spooked out... That's enough of that thanks and I'll apologise right now to you and Mauli and everyone for the frights I'll get now from the stupidest things.... " She poked Moo in the shoulder... "And it's all your fault..." Then she grinned and continued following... Jen shuddered.... "I'm not asking you to choose... and I know that things are wierd.... and I thank you... But being fifthe stage isn't all that very important... " He was lying of course.... he itched to be fifth stage... just like all the other monkeys that weren't getting it... He had even looked through a men's clothing magazine and picked out the clothes that he would wear.... A nice loose fitting button up shirt and nice trousers... but he couldn't think about that... "I'm sorry that I said all that to you... I never meant for you to have to have to deal with it, or make decisions, or add any kind of pressure... trust me... it's mine... not yours." He stood up. "I'm kinda tired... I was thinking you should go to bed anyway... do you know where my Mom is sleeping?" He stood up and had tears on his face... it had been harder to say out loud than he had first imagined... Moofuls Grinning sheepishly, Moo turned down another hallway, walking until about midway and pausing before a door. She twisted the knob and pulled it open, peering inside just to make sure it wasn't occupied. Finding it empty, she flung the door wide, gesturing X in. "This'll be yours, and..." She stepped across the hall, repeating the process for the door there. "This'll be yours," she finished, nodding to Keppit. "Make yourselves at home. Call me if you need anything." She grinned, waving vaguely before setting off back towards the stairs. "Good night!"
"No, no I'm glad you told me..." Isto, still smiling faintly, shrugged. "Don't worry about it, Jen... I wish I could say more, but... everything just crazy right now, and I can hardly keep my thoughts straight. Just...promise you won't stop talking to me, alright...?" Trailing off, he fell silent, eyes clouding over with thought. Wow, this day had certainly been eventful... At least that explained why Jen had been acting so stand-offish. Hopefully now things would go back to normal. Or...as normal as possible. He vaguely heard Jen speak, and blinked, clearing his eyes and thoughts. "Hmm? Oh, right, umm... I'm sure we can find them. Follow me." After rising somewhat shakily to his feet, he stepped around the brown SM and up the stairs. Funny, he seemed to be taking this all surprisingly well... But then, maybe he was just tired. XBear Goodnight Moo, and thanks again.*X smiled gratefully and waved to Moo before entering the room and shutting the door behind her. Almost as soon as she got in there, she curled up under the covers of the bed, dragging Slush with her, and drifted off to sleep.* Keppit Jen was shaking a litttle but he felt better... he followed Isto up the stairs and to the room that Keppit was in... He turned to Isto and thanked him...and without really thinking he walked into the room... Keppit sat up in the bed... Jen walked up to the foot and just stood there... "Mom, I... I'm gay." Keppit smiled... "I know love, C'mere... " She held out her arms out and he immediately crowled up into the bed and into a hug as if he was just an infant again... then they curled up in the covers... Both felling better... Jen because he had told two people and hadn't been killed or struck by lightning, and Keppit because Jen was being honest and had several genuine friends... most of which where right here in the building with them... so they both fell alseap... (keppit did have a good look around for spooks before she let herslef drift off though... *grin* ) Moofuls Within a matter of minutes, Moo was back downstairs, wandering from room to room and snapping off lights before heading to bed herself.
Isto merely nodded in reply to Jen, watching silently until the door closed. He then turned and headed back for the stairs, climbing up to the third floor and wandering the halls until he reached his room. Immediately upon entering, he closed and locked the door, staggering over and collapsing onto his bed, asleep within seconds.

*Snaps Slush fifth stage, hands him the ball and chain, then shoves him in the closet* *Locks the door behind him*
Closet: *Crowded*XBear Slush: *Pushes and presses Isto up against the wall with his body.* 'Ello love. heart *Looks down to Jen and grins.* Wanna help me rid the boy of his shirt? Keppit Jen : *wide eyed*.... You first though.... *grin* Moofuls Isto: o_o;;; *Manages to squirm away from Slush* *Backs away from Jen and Slush, laughing hesitantly* Ehh...let's just play another game of cards, and wait for 'em to let us out, alright?
XBear Slush: *Hooks his finger around Isto's belt loop and tugs him back against him and looking into his eyes with a half smirk, his lips dangerously close to Isto's.* Oh? I thought you wanted this... And you never liked to wear shirts before... Keppit Jen: *Stands against the back wall and watches... either of them stripping off would be fine ofr him... * Moofuls
Isto: *Hesitates momentarily, then again tries to pull free, taking a few steps back* Well, yeah, but...this is.... kinda sorta...really awkward. I'd rather keep my shirt, thanks.XBear Are you shy hun? *He kept his finger hooked around the belt loop, halfliding his eyes as he chuckled. Cupping his other hand's palm against Isto's cheek, he rubbed the pad of his thumb over Sharkie's lower lip.* I'll just have to fix that then... Keppit Jen: *moves the coat that he stood up into aside... can't miss a thing.* Moofuls Isto was so...confused? And worried. And SCARED. He was locked in a closet with a Jen AND Slush, who at the moment were SOMEHOW both fifth stage. And dammit they were both openly gay/bi, and... Ah, what the heck? Isto grinned faintly, raising an eyebrow. "Shy? Psh." And with that, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to Slush's. XBear *Slush was actually surprised that Isto kissed him first, but the surprise didn't last for long, for it was quickly replaced by the realization of how... good... he... felt. Tilting his head to the side and still cupping his cheek, Slush kissed him back slightly deeper.* Keppit Jen: *new to this... watches eyes wide... that was sort of what he had wanted... but not at the same time... * Moofuls Isto had been expecting Slush's reaction, and wasn't at all surprised when it came just as he thought it would. Smirking slightly, he stepped a bit closer to the younger anthro, normal arm moving to wrap around Slush's waist, pulling him closer... But then it suddenly hit him that this was SLUSH and MALE and...he quickly broke the kiss, looking anwhere but Slush..and Jen, blushing. XBear *At the abrupt end, Slush opened his eyes slowly and gave Isto a curious look before realization set it, and it hurt. But instead of getting angry, he figured that Isto was scared, and very confused, so Slush moved his hand to Isto's chin, bringing his gaze back to his, and giving him a light smile.* You don't have to be scared... just follow your heart, and whatever your decision is, I'll still care for you... Moofuls ((Well, I know what Isto would really do in this situation... But this is Slush's dream, so I'll humor him XD)) Reluctantly, Isto allowed his eyes to be turned back to Slush, smiling weekly in reply to his. Sighing deeply, he took a small step back, pausing at a slight tug on his jeans. Slush's finger was still hooked through the belt loop... he chuckled hesitantly, glancing back up to Slush. "I'm not...scared, exactly. It's not like I've never kissed anyone before. I just... what just happened?" XBear ((How would he act... >.> Get angry and flip out?)) You kissed me Sharkie... and when I kissed you back you pulled away... *Slush continued to look into his eyes, trying to understand exactly what was going on inside of Isto's head. Whatever it was, he would be there for him; if he wanted to proclaim to him that he was straight and didn't want to be with him, then Slush would consider him a liar, but he would give him the space he needed. No strictly straight man kissed like that. Unhooking his finger, he ran that hand through his hair, pushing it out of his face for the moment.* Spill it love, I just want the truth... Moofuls ((Nah, he'd prolly say somethin' about how he needed to think, break the lock on the door, then storm off to his room. He wouldn't be angry, though..)) Isto cleared his throat, again pulling his eyes away, fixing them on the wall. He really wasn't sure what he was thinking, and Slush kept calling him 'love', which didn't help matters....though it was nice... And after the fight with Mauli, he'd told himself no more women, so that meant... But why was he making such a big deal of this, then? Because this was Slush, and they were friends, and friends don't...just...kiss.. because kisses meant somethig more! ...Right? After a minute or so, Isto turned his eyes to meet Slush's, smiling faintly. "Alright... I give. That was...really nice, Slush." XBear Just nice?! Maaann... I thought I would've rated a bit higher than that... *Slush made a face of mock hurt as he chuckled, adding a few fake sniffles for emphasis as he crossed his arms across his chest, jutting his hip out slightly. Hopefully he was making Isto feel somewhat less nervous. After he finished his drama routine, Slush closed the difference between the two of them, leaning in and giving him a quick, non-peck kiss in one natural, fluid movement. Pulling back, he tilted his head to the side and smirked.* Just be yourself love... and everything will fall into place. Moofuls "That was too short to be anything but nice," Isto remarked without thought, catching himself moments later and grinning sheepishly. Just...be...himself... Right, that wasn't too hard. This was Slush, after all, and they were friends. Close friends, but...did that kiss really change anything? Now that he thought about it, no. Honestly, he really should have expected Slush to try something like that... even if he had been the one to kiss Slush in the end. Chuckling softly, he relaxed, grinning challengingly to the younger fifth stager. "I'm sure you can do better, though. So...care to try again?" As he leaned in, his lips barely brushed Isto's, but they came back again, softly and caringly, letting Isto choose the pace from there.* Moofuls Isto's smile faded, eyes closing, a somewhat pained expression floating to his face as Slush's fingers traveled up his metal arm. He sighed softly, either in relief or sorrow (it was hard to tell), when the fingers instead touched skin, a faint smile returning. The tenderness of the kiss surprised Isto, but he was thankful for it, for now quite content to remain with their lips barely touching... XBear *Slush let his eyes fall shut as he continued to press his lips softly against Isto's, tilting his head slightly to deepen the kiss only a bit more. His other hand moved to the nape of Isto's neck, where he trailed his fingertips from his spine all the way up into his mohawk. Curling his fingers around the locks, he tugged ever so lightly on them, thinking about just how damn good Isto felt against him right now, how right it felt.* Moofuls ((Quick question... How far is this dream going to go? o_o; I'm kinda scared of what goes on in Slush's mind...xD)) This...was....wonderful. It was just that simple. He'd just relaxed, done what felt right and...he'd never felt better. Even with Mauli... 'Course, he didn't really know Mauli as well as he knew Slush, but... why was he even thinking about this right now!? The slight tug on his mohawk was, to Isto, a sign that the tender moment was over. Fighting back a laugh, he wrapped his normal arm around Slush's waist, pulling the younger anthro up against him and pressing his lips more tightly to Slush's...grinning faintly. Give him self confidence.)) *As Slush was pulled up against Isto's body, he was really wishing that his shirt was gone again, but he was loving every moment of this just the same. While his hand that was playing with Isto's hair continued softly, his other hand moved from his hip to Isto's metal hand, where he intertwined his fingers with the metal ones, treating it quite normally, like nothing was out of place. As the kiss was deepend, Slush allowed his lips to part somewhat, his taste driving him crazier with every touch of their lips together.* Moofuls ((n_n I love Slush.... heart heart )) Isto was thoroughly enjoying the attention to his hair, and for that reason it took him a moment to notice Slush's hand on his metal one... The metal arm, hand and all, could feel only pressures, no textures, no...anything that would otherwise acknowledge a touch. He generally avoided touching anyone with it... His eyes snapped open in surprise as Slush's fingers twined with his, kiss momentarily faltering. However, after a short while his metal hand clasped gently with Slush's normal one, and he returned his attention to their kiss, eyes slowly reclosing. XBear ((Why? Other than because he's so snugglable.)) *Slush felt the falter and waited for Isto to regain his confidence in the kiss before moving his lips with his once more, a soft, almost delicate, moan escaping his lips. Giving his metal hand a light squeeze as his fingertips massaged the back of his neck, encouraging him and his touches. He tilted his head in the opposite direction, deepening their kiss. Oh god, it was better than he had imagined, kissing was now his new favorite pasttime.*

Journal Entry Today when I was in Isto's lap... I grew! Surprised the hell out of me actually, but as soon as I got used to the weight of the skull everything was easier. It makes me sad that I can't really ride on Sharkie's shoulder anymore, especially after he hurt it. But Mum and Keppit fixed him up before we went to Moo's house, where Moo finished fixing up the wiring.
