Asi blinked, eyes floating over to two of his second litter, and he moved up and over, sitting behind them. He hoped this would calm them a little, or at least Kenai. His tail flicked a little and he kept his gaze half on his kids, half on the others. "Oy, an ickle cub, eh?" He grinned lightly, glancing between the two other adults. "Well congras' is in order." His ears flicked and he looked toward the Genet, brows raising comicly. "Eat'cha?" He snorted as if that was a rediculous idea. "A king do no eat 'is company, yeh know." And well, whatever the creature was (asi wasn't all that sure) it HAD come with his present company.
"So, wha' brings yeh aboot these pars'?" He asked calmly.
Isoke was able to make Kenai feel very safe, and very comfortable. It even helped that their da moved closer. Soon he was purring lightly, and shot a pleased and thankful grin to his younger sister. Younger in age, perhaps years older in maturity. Sometimes, anyhow.
At Kika's comment he gave her a smile, nodding. "I did grow, this be my sis'er." He said, quite proudly in fact. He leaned close so he could whisper to her. "I think I 'member'em, they be da's frien's." He said slowly, thinking about it. "I think tha'un was in mum an' da's pride." He nodded to Umo. As Kenai was getting bigger he certainly was catching onto Asi's accent, which could prove a problem. One lion was hard enough to understand, speaking like that. Two? Maybe Kenai should spend more time with Ari and less with Asi...

Umo smiled, not only because he was pleased that Asi was not angry; why would he be. He felt Kinamasi move from on his back and and looked over his hsoulder, to see a small paw waving. Thats his daughter, pleasent and happy. He looked to Kikawaida, smiling his pleasure at her. He was very pleased that Asi remembered her too. He certainly was a good king. "That is right. A daughter." He said flatly, as their neared the three.
He looked to the genet, who was not upon Kika's back. He shook his head with a smile. "NO one will eat you as long as you are around me Mku." He said with assurance. He stopped walking when he was infront of his pride mates and turned slightly. "Kina, would you like to come down or stay on daddy back?" He asked his daughter.

Kinamasi gave a huge grin to the other cubs "Uh huh!" she giggled padding her paws in excitement to get down and play. She had had enough of sleeping and things it was definately time for some fun in this new land she didn't know.
Kikawaida gave a chuckle and looked at the green genet upon her bak "Nownow Mkugenzi these are friends. You must try to be civil" she scolded though her voice was full of laughter. Turning to her daughter she licked the tiny cubs nose "just be careful" she coos.
Mkugenzi grunted "well 'avin' been nipped at afore i aint ezakly the trustin type. Lions'll sometimes eatcha soon as look at ya." He looks to Asi with a raised brow "aint ya never seen a genet before?" he smirked. There were only a few genets around after all he wasn't so sure if that was a good thing but he did enjoy the occasional curious look.

((Woah, this lack of post order is messing me up XD I keep on missing my turn, though it isn't a bad thing XD I just need to pay attention more *apoligizes to everyone for delay*))
Isoke returned the warm purring with her own, smiling to herself as her brother kept close to her side. Suddenly, she was once more content with her surroundings, and with being with her family. As always, they were enough for her to enjoy her life. Yet, as he introduced her, she blinked mutly at the two adults, and just let her ears flicker at his words. So they were once a part of their pride.
As the other cub came down, Isoke glanced once more to her mumbling brother, ear catching his new accent. Letting out a sigh, she hoped he wouldn't spill their secret, though deep in her mind she knew she could trust the elder sibling. He never told anyone of their travels, and for that, she decided to give him a friendly nuzzle before pulling away.
"Daddy..." She murmered lightly, "...who are they?" She said it moreso because she had yet to meet them. If Kenai knew them, than she felt a little left out of the family. And that was something she didn't like. So, while nodding for her brother to follow, she moved to settle on her haunces next to her father's front paw.

Asi blinked as he watched the Genet, and he could see his patients would have to try and hold on whil he talked with him. "No, I 'aven't." He stated blandly and then looked to Umo. "She be beautiful, jus' like 'er mum." He grinned, then as Isoke came toward him her purred slightly. "Isoke this be Umo," He pointed a paw toward the adult male. " 'e be... part of our pride." His tail flicked back and forth and then curled around his side. "An' tha' be 'is mate, Kika. Their daughter... eh.. Kina?" He questioned, he wasn't sure if he'd heard right. "An... a genet." He concluded, looking down to see if Isoke was satisfied.
Kenai giggled lightly at his sister's nuzzle, and as she moved away he scrambled to his feet, moving toward his father and sister.

Umo smiled widely, his crimson eyes gleaming. He was proud to show off his family. He looked to Mku, with a playful grin, before stepping over beside Kikawada. "That is right. Kinamasi and Kikawaida. I seem to have the shortest name among us." He said with a grin, his tail curling over and touching hte tip of Kika's. He smiled.

Kikawaida smiled and reached over to her large mates back fishing kinamasi from her possition upon ehr large plush father she laced her only daughter on the ground with a puurr "now you be careful" she whispers looking at Asi "Thankyou sir, we are very proud of ehr" she whispers her dusty pink eyes glistening happily.
Kinamasi wobbled on her tiny toes for a moment,s he had been laying for a long time and it took her a moment to get her bearings and her feed before she padded towards the two older cubs. She limped with every step she took, her left fore leg slightly deforemd and out of place to the other three. Still she sayt before the two youngsters and grinned toothily "hai!" she puurrs her deep red gaze which mimicked her fathers bright and cheerful, she had been asleep long enough it was time to play.
Of course when kikawaida re lifted ehr head mkugenzi couldn't see kinamasi any longer. he grunted and half slid half jumpped from the lionesses bac and followed after the little lion cub. He was like a little green guardien, he always had his eye on her.

Having her whole attention on Asi, Isoke just nodded at his words as she trusted him wholeheartedly. In her mind, her father would never bring in lions that he did not trust, so she happily looked on to the newcomers with a bright smile that contrasted with her dark pelt. When the small form of the cub had been settled on the ground, Isoke just moved away from her father and next to Kenai, her vibrant eyes peering out to the cub with confusion before smiling in return to the grin.
"Kenai...should we play?" She asked, though her voice held excitement for a new friend that she and her brother could make.

Kenai was staring at Kinamasi, more or less the way she walked. It was not a mean stare, simply he was interested. What was wrong with her leg? When he heard Isoke's voice he flinched and looked to her, then grinned. "Oh!" Was all he said before scrambling to his feet. He looked over to Kina as she spoke. "Hello.." Glancing back to his sister he nodded, playing sounded like a good idea.
Asi smiled faintly as he watched his own two. It was odd, having such 'normal' cubs after a littler of little hellions. He loved both litters though, he couldn't stress that enough in his mind. He just wished that Denahi had turned out a little different, it seemed the male had abandoned the family completely. At that thought the king let out a long sigh, before coughing and looking to the two other adults apologetically.
"So 'ow long will yeh be stayin'ere?" His head tilted to the side.

Umo turned his head to watch Kika remove their child from his back; watching with the gleaming eye of a proud father; before his eyes fell on her walking. His daughter, little swamp princess; walking with difficulty. She was not in pain all the time. He glanced at Kika for a moment, wondering for a moment whether her spirits actually did this too their daughter because they were upset. He shook his head. Kikawaida and the spirits were close, weren't they? Then why would they do that? It was just... nature.
He turned his head as Asi spoke, his big gruff cheeks lifting in a smile. "Not sure... for a bit. Just fulfilling my desire to see my lands and little Kinamasi's desire to explore." he said in his flat voice; looking to Kikawaida. He knew she was not usually comfortable away from her lands... and would leave when ever she desired. "This traveling can be dangerous and it does make me nervous... I do not htink I want to have my child and... our friend Mku be... well... you get my point."
he watched the cubs for a second, before looking back to Asi. His tail curled around Kika's. "So, how are things here?"

Kinamasi grinned at the two youngsters before her, they wer eolder than she and even older than the other cubs of the swamplands. Her tiny tail waggled happily as she sat watching the two cubs so attached to each other, reletives, sheoften wondered what it would be like to have a brother or a sister being an only child but she didn't think about it for too long, after all theer was always someone to play with!
Looking throughtful the little femme padded closer to kenai and Isoke "waddayou guys wanna play?" she smiles happily her deep blood red eyes mimicking her fathers. A part of the lame cub wanted to play tag or wresteling but her mother would give her THAT look again, any time it might be a strain on her leg shde was given the vioice and the look. She just wanted to play!
Mkugenzi grunted just a little waddling over til he stood beside Kinamasi his olive eyes watching the two elder cubs. Even to him it was obvious they were safe here but he didn't ofteh drop that gruff facade "you jus' becareful thar be oles and all sorts o things a cub can get trapped in wen ya baint be knowin the landscapes ya gottit?" He looked between the three cubs as if he were a larger beast able to command lions. In truth he was just very protective of Kinamasi she was like a daughter to him even though she obviously had two parents.
Kikawaida watched her daughter for another moment before brushing her cheek against Umo's "we'll be safe with you" she whispers her dusty pink eyes resting on her burly monotone mate.

Isoke was about to respond to the younger cub when the gruff green creature decided to butt in. Looking slightly hurt at his words, able to understand with how her father spoke, she just pouted to herself before signaling to Kenai.
"As if we wouldn't know these lands, our parents do rule over them, and it is expected from us to know everything there is to know about the Kusini lands and the lions who reside on them." With a nod and a bright smile, she turned to Kenai, and shruged her shoulders.
"You can pick the game, I don't mind what we play."

"Things 'ere 'ave been goin' a'righ, nothin' too impor'ant really." Actually it was quite boring on the kusini lands of late. His tail gave a small flick and he glanced to the three cubs a moment as well, then let his eyes travel to the ganet and he almost growled, but he knew he was just being protective.
Kenai blinked and shifted back once the green creature moved forward, he didn't think he liked it much. "Why do I hafta choose?" He sounded a little troubled, he wasn't sure what games the stranger liked. "Er... wha' d'yeh wanna play, then?" He looked back to Kina.

Umo nodded as Asi spoke; his ears twitching to keep his heairng over towards Kinamasi. He kept a shoulder touching Kika, to help reasure her. "That is a shame. Well, I suppose. Seems to be as safe as I hoped it would be." he said, looking over to his daughter, whom of which was going to be playing. She didn't really have anyone her age to play with. Her request for a sibling earlier, made him think; looking to Kikawaida. He'd have to express his worries. But for now... he had some diffrent ones.
"Asi, I never really asked. Is there any Prides out there that are against us in any way?" he asked, his tail curling over his back. "I have heard of other prides who are strickly against one another, but I am not aware of anyone against eh Kusini Mwenzi lands"

Kikawaida looked surprised at the question her mate asked. Why would he ask such a thing? Blinking a few times she turned her dusty pink gaze on her tiny cub a smile playing on her maw. "Just be careful, and mkugenzi, don't be so harsh, they are just cubs" She smiled her voice a whispery muurr as she watched the children for a long moment, she knew one day Kinamasi would have a brother or sister or perhaps one of each but right now she was satisfied with her only daughter.
Mkugenzi grunted a little looking at kikawaida with a slight embarressed look on his green maw "aye, wull I jus' be wantin' them ta take care,.." he trailed off, a slight grumpy little grunting sound escaping him as he turned and bounded off in to the bushes.
Kinamasi watched the green genet go "Oh Mkugenzi!" she shouted after her guardien angel. Sighing she shook her head a little "he'll be okay won't he mother?"
Kikawaida smiled and nodded. "Yes dear he will probably go home, he can be such a grump some times I beleive he's just a little lonely" she smiles serenely, she did feel sorry for her green companion he was the only genet she had ever seen.
Kinamasi nodded and turned her attention back to the other cubs a smile returning to her maw "uhm..well I like ta wrestle and play tag and hide and seek and uhm..uhh..oh bob stones!" she grins at her wide knowlege of games, though she wondered what they would pick.
