I don't like anything about Washington, but I'm stuck here for about 4 to 8 more years.

I love the rain. And, the wider selection of shopping(mostly in Seattle). Where I was before, we had almost no good places to shop.(only two malls in the largest city in Alaska, neither of them had a hot topic or a spencers X_x ).

Easy, the music.
If I didn't live in Seattle I wouldn't be half as interested in music as I am today. I'm extremely thankful to the musical community of Seattle for being so nurturing.
I enjoy the rain and cloudiness quite a bit, the great coffee (and I'm not talking Starbucks kids...), Broadway (obviously not a threatre district), the Ave, the list goes on.
I also love the water. One of the things I thought about when looking at colleges was access to water. The college I've chosen, that'll hopefully choose me, is in Boston, a city I've found to be quite reminiscent of Seattle especially in that it is a port city.

Pretty much everything.
The weathers awesome, the trees, and mountain regions. Not to mention hanging around Seattle, handing out spare change and deodorant to Hobos. And of course, the water.

Slonny I'd have to say that the fact that you can go from one end of the state to the other and see basically every climate in the world is pretty cool. You start on one side and you have a sea shore. Head east and you've got a rain forrest. Next up is a major metropolotan area. Then a mountain range. Then a desert. Then a fertile range. Then a coniferous-woody region. Let's not forget the Columbia river and the countless bodies of water. Yep! I totally agree! I expecially love the mountains and all the Native American tribes we have around here! I love seeing people try to pronounce the indian names of cities like puyallup and sequim 3nodding

That never really ocurred to me before (even though I've been in most of the climates stare ). I absolutely LOVE the rain!! People always b***h about rain stinks, it's cold, it's wet, it's gloomy, blah blah blah. It pisses me off. I love it. I hate super hot weather. Urgh. It's not rainy here all the time, though, not lately. It also pisses me off when people make the assumption that it rains NONSTOP here. It doesn't. stressed I'm missing it. sad Oh well it'll start soon. 3nodding Wow I'm really rambling sweatdrop

I can't believe I didn't think of that the second I saw this thread. The music is definetely one of my favorite things about WA.(I don't have one favorite thing). I have HUGE pride in being from the same place as all the awesome bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Jimi Hendrix, etc, etc. 3nodding God, I love Washington state. Another thing I also failed to mention before was all the awesome festivals and stuff. Like Bumbershoot and Folklife and HempFest and the Puyallup Fair and all the street fairs and farmers markets and stuff. 3nodding

I love the sheer diversity of the state... We have the ocean, huge rivers, mountains, plains, desert, a freakin huge gorge, and forests upon forests. It's so geographically unique I guess, with all of the rain and what not. It's puuurty 3nodding

I think I just like everything about Washington in general (with the exception of being forced to take Pacific Northwest History in school sweatdrop ) But seriously, if I refuse to move to another state, maybe a different country, but not another state. I wish I could see the penninsula. I've never been that far west before.
