Glitter Girl Sharing is caring, Mrs Wolf. *shares* I would have preferred boneless chicken breast, but chicken is too expensive at the moment.

Chicken is alot cheaper then beef and pork here. If I go first thing in the morning to this one chain of grocery stores, they mark down the meat that is one day from expiring, and they take a dollar off the cheaper package and two dollars off the more expensive packages.. so that helps me

Man, I'm going to sound really weird.
I craved Ivory soap when I was pregnant. No kidding, the smell would make me salivatate. I could have eaten a whole bar of soap. Heh, dang PICA. I also wanted sushi and a rare steak, the "no no" xd And peanut butter galore!

This of course was before they told me that it was something I shouldn't eat. D seems to be fine any way.

KristiElizabeth your not suposed to have sushi during pregnancy, and my boyfriend was going to get some so I could try it (I've never had it) I ate it. I ate it several times while I was pregnant. I ate a lot of things that I wasn't supposed to eat. I was bad about that. I didn't get a what to expect when you're expecting and the what to eat when you're expecting book until half way into my pregnancy.

With my son I craved orange juice, sherbert ice cream, and Cajun's spicey rice. I know I am not supposed to eat spicey foods when pregnant, but gawd, that'd cut out like 75% of my usual meals!
With my daughter, it was REALLY strange (for me), I craved spearmint peppermints (the green ones). I would flat out refuse to leave the house unless I had about 10 of them stuffed in my purse. My poor hubby was going down to the store about every other day getting me fresh bags of green peppermints! It was crazy! I ate them so much and so frequently, that I actually broke a tooth on them! eek And even then, I could NOT stop eating them. And stranger yet, is the fact that I really don't like candy of any kind normally. I was glad when that pregnancy was over. I feared I would be in dentures soon if I didn't stop eating so many green peppermints! sweatdrop

When I was pregnant with Ayla, I craved salmon, chicken, and green apples, I dont like Green apples very much they are too sour, but thats what I wanted, there were a couple other things but I cant remember.

The only part of sushi that is considered bad is raw fish, but most sushi is actually cooked fish or cooked shrimp or cooked crab, etc. Very little sushi has raw fish and the ones that do actually have very little of the meat in it, most have mostly rice, seaweed, vegetables etc in it, they are all fine for you. You can eat sushi as long as it is a cooked or steamed meat, you can also eat the california rolls, since it is a vegatarian dish, no meat. The thinsgs to watch for are like raw tuna and raw samon, but cooked, smoked, steamed etc are all okay.

It is funny how many people think that the middle of all sushi is raw fish when it isn't. The raw fish dish (lol I rhymed) is "sashimi".
