Rubbing her arm lightly they moved onto the next painting.
"No, it doesn't. So, I'll just have to think of something to take your mind off it. From the darkness comes light." He shrugged a little staring back at the colours and techniques, trying to feel what the artist had been feeling.

Israel smiled up at him then focused her attention on the gallery. After an hour or so discussing the paintings and enjoying each other's company, they came to the last painting. When they were back outside in the bright sunshine, Israel slipped her hand into Giani's.
"That was amazing Giani. Thank you so much," she smiled warmly. "So where to next?"

"Lunch?" He said squeezing her hand and leading her in the direction of a restaurant he had scoped out the day before. It was actually a proper Italian restaurant, or as close as they were going to get in Japan. Run by and Italian man and his Japanese wife.
Stepping into the small, dark seating area he grinned at the man and spoke to him in his native tongue.
They were shown to a small table in the corner and given a couple of menus. The whole of the interior was wood with pictures of famous sights around Rome.
"What would you like to eat Dolce?" He asked glancing over the menu.

Israel looked around the restaurant. A vast difference from the pizza place they had first eaten at. It made her wish she was back on holiday in Italy. Those had been some of the best times she had spent with her father. At Giani's question, she looked down at the menu.
"I'll have the chicken alfredo," she said, setting the menu down. "How did you find this place?" she asked, looking around again.

He smiled and looked up from the menu, ordering for them both and relaxing into his seat.
"Ah, I cannot reveal my secrets." He said with a grin. "Though I shall definitley be coming here more often."
Glancing around at the familiar scenes on the decor, he turned back to Is and raised his eyebrows.
"Do you like to go dancing?" He asked with a mysterious smile.

Israel smiled at his mystery. It really didn't matter, she was glad that he thought to share this little secret with her. She reached out to grab her glass of water and took a sip.
"I love dancing," she smiled setting the glass down and leaning forward on the table a bit. "Why do you ask?" she asked with a mischievious glint in her eyes, she was enjoying this small game of suspense.

Taking a sip of water he ran his fingers through his hair and leaned forwards a little.
"Well, I have a little cure all for sadness. Something I used to do when I was feeling really depressed. It used to get me into trouble, but it is a garunteed cure. Totaly legal and a hell of a lot of fun."
With a smirk he lowered his voice in a mock conspirital whisper.
"Now my question is, how daring are you dolce? Would you like to hear about my remedy?"

Giggling lightly she leaned a little closer to him to join in on the conspiratal fun.
"Do you really need to ask?" she asked, her interest highly piqued, her eyes on his. "I'm up for anything fun." Already she could feel the emotional baggage from Aquila dropping off of her. She was certain that what ever Giani could come up with would most definitely be fun.

Grinning at her acceptance Giani sat up, thanking the waiter when he brought their food over.
"Well, first we finish our leisurly lunch, wander around town a bit, eat dinner. Then we go to a Latin club I found the other week and dance our baggage away till the early hours of the morning."
Picking up his knife and fork he began to tuck into the delicious food.
"Then we go to a convenience store. Get breakfast and go down to the harbour to watch the sun rise. What do you think?"

Israel blushed slightly. It sounded like he had been definitely been listening to her when he has asked her what romance was to her. Everything he was proposing was simple and truly from the heart. He let her vent, but didn't press for the gory details. Instead he understood her need to forget.
"I think I'm in love," she smiled picking up her fork, not seriously thinking of what she had said.

Giani laughed a little at her response and continued to eat.
"I'll take that as a yes then shall I?" He said with a teasing wink. "Today we can only be happy."
Eating some more food he looked up, remembering something. "I met some new people." He said with a smile. "Scarlett and Obie. Do you know them? I'm begining to think my parents send me to a girls school. My roommate is a girl, the only people I meet are girls." He shrugged and raised and smirked. "That can only be a good thing though."

"It's definitely a yes," she smiled, twirling some pasta on her fork. A pleasant silence fell between them as they ate for a moment, then he looked up. She laughed at his deduction about the school and stirred her food around.
"I've met Scarlett, though I don't think she likes me much. She and Sora had a bit of a falling out right before he and I broke up. I haven't seen her since their falling out though. I've never met Obie though. That's a really cool name," she smiled. "Who's you're roommate?" she asked as she lifted her fork to eat some more.

Giani listened to her and smiled.
"Ah, some drama. She does seem quite theatrical." He said thinking back to her Zorro sword play. "Good dancer though." Eating some more food he tried to remember the name of his roomate. Not that he hadn't met her, just she hadn't been around much. "My roommate is called Chiitra I think. Do you know her? She's not around much."
He shrugged and got back to his meal. "What's your roommate like?"

"Chiitra," she said thinking back a little remembering vaguely a girl sitting on Ra's lap being introduced as Chii when they had played truth or dare in the cafe off campus. "I've met her, but to be honest I don't really know her. I know her boyfriend though. He's real sweet." She paused to wash the rich alfredo sauce down with a sip of water.
"My roommate.... Think of me, but very blunt sometimes. I think you'd like her. She's very sweet and a good friend. Her name is Murasaki, but she goes by Saki and she's Japanese. Trust me... when you see her, you won't miss her," Israel giggled lightly, thinking of Saki's loud taste in clothing.

Giani listened to her and nodded.
"Ah, I need to meet more people." He said shaking his head. "Chiitra seems nice, an artist too from what I can tell. I'd like to meet your roommate." He said also taking a sip of water. "She sounds like a lot of fun."
