((lmao; I actually like how these two correspond with eachother -giggles- We should rp them more often >D ))
"I don't, I just refer to as well because most others I have come across are bonded with that of a two legger. I don't like them...they spotted my son when he was younger and attempted to rope him." Her ears flicked back. She made a sound sounding like a 'hmph'. "If she's busy then what's the use of being part of her life? Or do you just wander around, checking in on her occasionally?" The snowbird asked. Like she said, she wasn't one to stick in one spot to long, so perhaps Anubis was like this too?
"I..I have. I just...it's hard." She sighed again, an ear flicking towards the bluejay as he nudged her. "Sorry," She said quietly, before her ears perked up. "Wanna go for a swim?" She chirped, her mood instantly brightening, though it was just a mask. She hated when she upseted others by her emotions.
Iason glared at Anubis, shifting his wings as he took flight into the trees. Nothing intimate? Hmph, yeah right. "I'm watching you," The golden eyed hawk commented on Anubis, watching the pair from his perch.

Anubis stared at her, his jade eyes turning sad. He hated it when people put masks on. Then he sighed. "Actually -- You guessed what I do. I occasionally check up on her and shes fine with that. It allows me alot more freedom this way." He commented.
"It takes time. Dont worry about it okay?" Anubis said with a reassuring smile. "Swim? Why not? How about that lake?" He pointed to a lake a short distance away. Of course it would take him longer since he had to get down the cliff but okay. He didnt mind doing that for Rikka. He glanced at the hawk with relief for now. "when should we start going down?" He asked Rikka curiously. ((Hee. RP them more often and develop something? >D))

((YUS! twisted Annnd maybe Iason can warm up to Anubis? Rikka needs someone to protect her ;o; ))
Yay! She was right for once. She nodded shortly, the mask she had put on fading slightly as her guard was dropped. "Where's the lake from here?" Rikka's head tilted, realizing she had flown up here when Anubis walked. Her eyes wandered to where the bluejay pointed, smiling. "Lead the way!" She giggled, cautiously following behind the stallion, careful not to trip over the small pebbles. "Now is fine!"
Iason watched, flying ahead of the two blue soquilis to meet them at the watering hole area.

(( Its decided! :3 ))
Anubis looked behind her as if he was taken back. "You should fly down there. You can see t? Its easier than walking with me." Anubis said, his tone questioning. "If you dont want to fly, then we have to get down this cliff first", as he pointed to a flat trail seemingly made by humans. "Then its to the left when we get down but its a long way down." Anubis said apolegetically. He knickered to the hawk and said cheerfully. "Lets dunk the hawk! It'll be fun!" This thought seemed to make him very happy.

"I wanna get use the terrains down here. Flying so much has it's disadvantages. Tripping easily, relying to much on your wings." She shook her head. "Besides, it wouldn't be nice to leave a friend to wander by themselves...right? "I'm up for the little adventure!" The snowbird chuckled, walking along besides Anubis.
"Are you trying to get him to hate you?" Rikka joked.

"Okay but its not much of an adventure. Just alot of walking." Anubis chuckled at Rikkas reply. "Anyways, its nice to have company this time around, going up is diffulcult." Anubis said tilting his head back and forth to see the lake better.
"Getting him to hate me will be my one goal in life!" Anubis joked back. "But no, it would just be fun to do that. Hes a nice eagle though." Anubis said absentmindedly. "Anyways, do you want to go at a faster pace, like a trot? I dont doubt that your eagle will get impatient for you." Anubis asked.

"So going down is easier?" Rikka assumed, stepping on the smoothest parts of the ground, so the little stones wouldn't be caught in her hooves. Her cyan gaze lifted, spotting the water from the distance. "Mm I can't wait~!" She grinned, nodding towards Anubis. "Yes! Let's trot!" As she pciked up pace, her foot slipped, but she quickly regained her composture. Grinning sheepishly, she spoke. "My bad!"
"If that's your one goal in life, I pity you," Rikka giggled, nudging the bluejay slightly. "You're going to need a new goal soon." She chuckled. "He...is..." She said unconcsciously, looking straight before her as if lost in thought.

"Clumsy duck!" Anubis said goodnaturely. Perking his ears up, he laughed at Rikka's new goal for him. "Why dont you make a new goal for me?" he suggested before hearing Rikkas voice trail off. "Rikka? Rikka?" He said worriedly. "Careful, if you dont concentrate, you may injure yourself." Anubis said in an urgent tone.

"I'm not a duck!" Rikka squealed, tossing her head up as she trotted.
"A goal for you? I don't know..." She looked over to him. "What do you like?" She asked. Perhaps she could make a goal that involved something he was good at? But those were boring goals. What was a good life term goal he could do...? Hmm. Rikka thought carefully, wracking her brain for ideas.
"Huh?" The snowbird snapped otu of her thoughts. "Oh...Sorry" She crooned softly, shaking her head slightly.

"Ducky!" Anubis teased. He looked down to see that they were almost down from the cliff and quite close to the lake now.
"As long as its not a life threateing goal, I'll agree to it for one day!" Anubis dared to Rikka.
"Please, dont worry about it!" Anubis said gently. "Lets concentrate on getting down and swimming okay Rikka?" Anubis said with a big grin.

((Do you have an uncerted picture of Anubis? I wanna make a sig involving the little line about him calling Rikka Ducky xd ))
Rikka didn't like that nickname. She wasn't one of those birds that had teh green heads or the brown bodies. She was a soquili! D: She made a sound of disapproval. "Bird..! er..brain?" She blinked, her steps halting as she thought of her words. "Eh, I got nothing" She giggled, resuming her pace next to Anubis, her speed increasing slightly.
"Aww you don't like life threatening goals? Those are fuun." She chirped. "Hmm...Have you ever been to the mountains? You said the cliffs were the closest you could get to the sky with, well...what if you venture up the mountains to the snowy banks?" The snowbird asked. "You'll be even closer, and I've never really seen a wingless up there...perhaps you can be the first!" She grinned.
"Swimming, okay!" Rikka moved into a collected canter, pulling ahead of Anubis. "I'll race ya!"

"Dont forget we're both of the bird breed." he said trotting along. Anubis kept his pace steady not speeding up along with Rikka.
"I'd prefer my life over death!" Anubis said wisely as he envisioned a mountain with snow banks. He shivered at the thought of the temperature degree up there, but probably if Rikka could withstand it, why couldnt he? "I'd be glad to go up the snowy banks sometimes!" Anubis said delightedly.
"Race?" Anubis repeated in a mock voice as it was a foreign concept. "I'm afraid racing is out for me. I'm too afraid that your pet eagle will peck me to death because I'll beat you." Anubis said jokingly.

Oh, right. They both WERE of bird blood techincally, so her comment couldn't really work. Oh well, like she said.. She had nothing!
"It's a good choice personally, but sometimes you have to take advantage of the world's offers, even if they do seem dangerous." Rikka nodded quickly, eyes glancing towards the lake that seemed to get nearer and nearer as they continued their little trot. The snowbird just smile as he said he'd go up to the snowy banks of the mountains. No one really was up there, which caused Rikka to fly down to this land here. Perhaps if Anubis made it up there, then some more would follow?
"Aww I'm sure he won't do that" Rikka whined. "Maybe just a little peck here and there, but not to death." The wind stuck out her tongue slightly, giggling at the bluejay.

"Your a thoughtful soquili, arent you?" Anubis asked amused. "Your of the snowbird breed right? I woud've thought you liked snow and stayed up there." Anubis stated to Rikka. "Perhaps maybe you came down is because your eagle?" Anubis tried to guess. "Speaking of the eagle, hes not a predictable, it seems mind you. I'll keep my distance from him." Anubis asaid in a oh-so-cautious sarcastic voice
"Ooh! We're here!" anubis said surprised. The time seems so very short, yet it was always a long walk. He shrugged. "Why dont we take a dip?"

Rikka shrugged. "Being alone gives you a lot of thinking time, you know?" She said quietly, before nodding at his next question. "I've lived up there practically my whole life. If I never had children, or met Intrepid, I'd probably be still up there, wondering what on earth you groundlings did down here in the heat." She giggled.
She shook her head. "Nope~ My eagle just happened to find me one day. He's a great flying companion" She chirped, shifting her wings. "Oh..I think I can guess what'd he do next." She giggled, but then again, Rikka knew Iason better than anyone else perhaps.
"YAY!" She swooned, her hind legs moving completely under her as she made a small jump forward, out of sheer excitement and happiness. "Okay!" She grinned, continuing the small hops forward until she reach the cool water's edge.
