Halloween trotted through the land which Salali, her two-legger, had declared their new home. It was a bit rocky but the view from the near top of the mountain the land was placed on couldn't have been better in her opinion. The air was so clear and crisp and the trees so unbelieveably bright it was only in awe that Halloween could even look at it. Her mother would have loved to see it.

A sigh escaped Halloween as thoughts of her mother came to her. She had been so violently taken from her mother the memories were almost to horrid to think of. It had been dark that night much darker than any night she ever had seen before in her little filly life. Her and her mother had been ambushed by a large group of coyotes. The coyote's had surrounded them. Her mother put up an amazing fight but she had been taken down. In fear she had ran barely escaping herself. Her dark coloring had been what saved her. In such a dark night she had been nearly impossible to see but her mother a pure white with amazing green eyes and a black tail and mane had stoo out. The coyotes had spotted her and not noticed the little filly with her.

To this day she regretted running, leaving her mother to the mercies of those ravoneous monsters! Another sigh escaped her lips as she lowered her head to the smal pile of rocks at her feet. On the very top of the mound of rocks was a flat rock with the painting of a horse running. Salali had set it up in memory of her mother. Salali had saved her that night after she had hid from the coyotes. The two-legger had pretty much raised her from that point on, she owe the two-legger a lot as for her mother. Sacrifice had been put out just for her to live. Reaching to the necklace tied around her neck Halloween pulled loose another necklace made of beads and three beautiful feathers. It was an amazing necklace. With the necklace in between her teeth Halloween lowered her head to the mound of rock and lied the necklace around the flatrock with the painting on it. It was a present meant for her mother on the one day that all mothers alive or deceased needed to know just how important they were.

Halloween and Death's First Meeting.

neokitsune
Snow white wings beat at the sky as Death soared over the ground smoothly. Her soft grey eyes focused on the ground beneath her, watching the forest and the plains upon plains of grass dissapear beneath her as her wings carried her quickly over the ground. She was looking for a place to land so she could eat some grass quickly and then take off again, the plains that sprawled out for miles had long grass that seemed like it would work.

So with a pivot of one wing, Death swooped down to the ground and struck out all four of her legs for her gentle landing. Everything about the gothic Soquili was gentle, from her words to her eyes to her actiions. Fluttering her large dove-like wings on her back, Death leaned her head down and took delicate bites of the grass that was there. Her small perfect white ears flicked back and forth to pick up the noises around her.

Izzy Makani
Halloween trotted through the tall green grasses of the plains. The day was so lovely today she couldn't help but stop and take in it all. Tilting her head upward she closed her eyes letting the sun hit her face and the sounds of the world come in. The wind blowing, birds singing and small animals rustling around through the grass. It was amazing.

A shadow passed over quickly catching Halloween's attention. The creature that caused that shadow had to be big. She trotted off in the direction that the shadow had gone and soon caught sight of a mare not far from her grazing on grass. The wings settled on the mares back concluded she must have been the shadow that had passed over. Halloween slowly moved forward not wanting to startle the other mare.

neokitsune
One of Death's delicate ears flicked over towards the thunk of hooves behind her. Lifting her snow white hair, the gothic soquili let her ankh bounce off of her chest for a moment before turning around to face the other female coming towards her. A delicate smile crossed the muzzle of the female before she bowed her head to the other and dropped her wings to either side of her so that the bare tips of them touched the ground in a respectful manner.

"Hello sister of the earth." Death said in a ghostly soft voice that resonated through the air for some reason. Her voice sounded like a whisper on the wind and she smiled with her gentle grey eyes at the other. It was rare that she saw another with wings, so Death was more than comfortable talking to those without. In fact she quite preffered it since she met Khairi.

Izzy Makani
Halloween stopped as the mare turned and bowed her head. Returning the gesture she bowed her head and brought out a front hoof lowering her body into the bow. Being her first time encountering another Soquili she only knew what short lessons she had been taught by her parents when she was still young. Being much older now she was a bit rusty.

"Greetings sister of the wind." Halloween replied the wind causing her dark mane to sway and blow bits of it into her face. Tossing her head gracefully she easily placed the strands back into their respectful places.

neokitsune
Death smiled at her for a moment and flapped her wings to straighten them back out before folding them over her back. "So where are you heading sister?" She asked ghostly. She was completly ready to go flying again or at least to start eating again, but she also knew that she needed to try and make talk with others because she would be able to get along with them easier if she did.

Letting her midnight black mane float around her head, the gothic Soquili lifted her snowy head up to the sky. There was something about the sky today that made the sun light up her pelt contently. The only thing that bothered her was that her mane and tail were very dark.

Izzy Makani
Halloween shrugged her shoulders and shook her head with a slight snort. "I don't know. I'm new to these lands." Halloween said swatting her tail at a fly on her back. "...I guess just wherever my hooves take me." She continued, all these places were so new very little looked familiar.

While she liked to be by herself most of all she knew there was no way she was going to make it unless she got to know at least a few of the natives.

neokitsune
Death glanced over at the darker Soquili out of the corner of her gentle grey eyes. "Aaah. So you aren't from around here then?" She swung her head back down and took in the other mare entirely. "Your whiskers are very pretty." She nodded her delicate head and walked towards her so she could sniff her gently. It was a very canine move that not many Soquili did, in fact she had yet to meet another that did that.

Taking a deep breath, the gothic Soquili flicked her wings. "Would you like to see around the plains?" Death asked quietly. "My name is Death. It's my pleasure to meet you."

Izzy Makani
A slight smile spread across Halloween's face at Death's complimet. "Thank you." She replied, ever since she had been born she has been very subconisicous of the whiskers. It wasn't exactly normal for a horse to have the whiskers of a cat. As Death sniffed her, Halloween returned the gesture as the cat part of her kicked in.

Halloween nodded at Death's offer. "I would apprieicate it muchly." She said and her ears perked forward curiously. "I'm Halloween. It's not often I have heard of someone named Death. It's an interesting name."

neokitsune
"Yes, I get that a lot actually." She ghosted a laugh out of her muzzle. "I love the name Halloween. That's my favorite time of year in fact." She nodded her white and black head gently. Swishing her tail from side to side slowly, Death looked around them and smiled over at Halloween.

"Well, lets get going then, we'll see how fast you can run won't we?" She grinned at the other Soquili softly before clamping her wings tight down over her back. With a burst of speed the gothic Soquili took off at a quick speed. Halloween would be her, the wind Soquili's wings slowed her down incredibly. But there was no worries on Death's face as the wind blew over her. Even if theh other didn't follow, she had a feeling that she would just take off in the air.

Izzy Makani
Halloween's ears perked forward, so there was actually someone out there who liked her name. A grin appeared on Halloween's muzzle at the mention of running. That was one thing she loved and was good at.

"We'll see." She replied rearing up onto her back legs taking her front hooves off the ground a few inches before breaking into a run. She followed after Death putting on a bit more speed to catch up with the other mare and then matched her speed running right along side the white and black mare.

neokitsune
Death let out a giggle for a bit before using her delicate legs to force her small body forward to run faster. Normally she was used to flying a great deal faster than she was used to running. In fact she didn't run all that often, but she felt the need to do it now. Flicking her tail she lowered her head and ran a bit faster.

"Look! That's the forest." Death called out loudly enough to let Halloween here her words. Her muscles tensed and untensed as she kept running over the ground, ready to open her wings. Over and over she had to convince herself that she was meant to stay on the ground for this.

Izzy Makani
Halloween kept up with Death rather easily. Seeing as she had wings it made it pretty easy to tell she didn't use her legs that often to run so she was going to be a bit slower than a Soquili who had to use their legs to get around.

Halloween turned her attention to a large group of trees that Death called the forest. It looked rather inviting she would have to check it out later when she had the chance. Keeping with Death as she ran Halloween made notes of the surroundings and different land marks. They would come in handy later on.

neokitsune
Death decided to take a look topside for a moment and looked over at Halloween quickly. "Be right back down." She winked one of her gentle grey eyes and spread her large wings, moving over to the side so she didn't hit the other and took off into the air, soaring on a thermal high into the air so she could check out the surroundings and where she wanted to take her knew friend next. The mountains were just past the forest, if they kept up their pace they would make it there next.

Though right now she was wishing that she could bear the weight of another to show Halloween the world from up in the air. But that was impossible.

With a lunge, the wind Soquili swooped back down and landed at a run next to Halloween again, her legs carried her quicker for a moment before gravity sunk back in and her body didn't run as fast anymore.

"Would you like to take a look at the mountains?" Death asked with a smile.

Izzy Makani
Halloween watched in awe as Death took to the air and soared up high. Almost tripping over a few rocks Halloween put her conscentration back on the ground taking her head out of the clouds in which Death soared. Halloween chuckled as Death landed rushing forward with her momentum and then slowing back again.

She blinked at Death's question and peered ahead spotting the peeks of the mountains surrounded by white puffy clouds ahead of them. "Oh Yeah!" Halloween exclaimed kicking up her legs in excitement. Mountains meant climbing and that was another thing she absolutely loved to do. She'd climb trees if her hooves would allow her to but mountainous terrain was the next best thing!

neokitsune
Death grinned at Halloween's reaction to the mountains and swung her dainty body in the direction of the mountains then, whinnying out to the sky. She was letting it know that tonight she wouldn't be joining it for her nightly ride and to save her some clouds in the morning so she could make the designs in them. That was her favorite thing in the world to do, meld the clouds so that they did as she wished.

With a flick of her tail and a wink of her eye she used her wings to push herself faster than she had been running before. To any other Soquili it would probably look strange, her wings were flapping, but she wasn't gaining any air, instead she was gaining speed by great bounds. This looked akward, but in fact it was almost a graceful motion that she enjoyed using when she needed speed and lots of it.

Izzy Makani
Halloween tilted her direction slightly moving away from Death giving the mare the needed space for her wings. At first she didn't quite understand why Death had spread her wings but it didn't take her long to figure it out. With each wing beat Death sped up slightly in which she too sped up to keep parallel to the winged mare.

Halloween was suprised at how fast Death could move with just flapping her wings. She was doing her best to keep up with Death and her new bursts of speed. The muscles in her legs were beginning to burn a feeling that gave her even more speed due to the adrenaline the running put into her excited system. It was a rush she could never explain.

neokitsune
Death let loose a bright whinny and flicked her wings one last time before bowing her head and making her body streamline. She was quite quick when she wanted to be, but mostly because of the weight of her large wings she was slower than the larger ground soquili would ever be. A sigh floated from her muzzle as she slowed up to let Halloween take a break at a slower pace. "Sorry about that, I needed to run fast for some reason. It feels nice to run as fast as you can every once in a while you know?" A laugh came from her.

The mountains were climbing out of the ground in front of the galloping Soquili and Death cocked her head slightly to the side at the view. "So do we go up? Or do you want to go around?" Death had never climbed a mountain before in her life and she wasn't entirely sure that she could make the climb. She did have her wings however. Those would work quite well indeed.

Izzy Makani
Halloween blinked when Death shot forward so fast that she couldn't even dream of following the mare. She gave out a loud laugh as Death slowed again. "You're quite fast even if you are made for the sky!" She commented while taking advantage of the slower pace.

At the sight of the mountains beginning to tower over them Halloween smiled. She saw a challenge and was ready to take it. Looking over at Death her smile became devious. "Let's go up!" She replied. It was about time she found something to climb!

neokitsune
"Why thank you my sister of the ground. You're a great deal faster than I would ever be though. My speed simply comes from these, though often they impede it as well." Flicking her large wings slightly so her hooves lifted off the ground for a bare moment, Death chuckled and looked up at the looming mountains. "We're close now, I might not climb with you as I haven't had that much practice with it. But I'll be right near you." Nodding her head Death kept up her pace beside Halloween.

She liked this other Soquili, whiskers and all. She actually adored the whiskers, they made Halloween seem softer. Though from what she had seen, Death didn't take Halloween for much of a crazy or evil or even wicked sort. In fact she found her rather nice. It was pleasant to be in her company.

Izzy Makani
Halloween chuckled sheepishly at Death's compliment she had trained hard as a filly to get as fast as she was. Her muscles were much stronger than most Soquili's. She loved to run so it only made sense. "Climbing is much fun you should give it a good try sometime. Makes for a good challenge." Halloween replied, they were coming up on the mountains fairly quickly and the terrain had already pretty much turned to rocks.

Halloween glanced at Death she was certainly an interesting Soquili not anything like what her name would describe. She was actually rather sweet. Her black and white colors made for an interesting contrast and a suprise. Everything about her said distant and even cold except for her personality she far from being cold or distant. She was a joy to be around in fact.

neokitsune
The rocks beneath her hooves made Death think of the flint stone that Banhi used to make fire sometimes. Often the little girl ate things cold, not wanting to hurt anything, but when the trees dropped twigs and branches for her, the indian teenager made herself and Death warm meals. Well, she made herself them mostly, because Death didn't often eat the warm meals made for her, she would just nose it back. But for some reason it reminded her of this.

It didn't matter though, as the sparks flew from under her hooves, Death ran faster to pick up momentum. "Someday I will, you're right. But for right now I'm content flying above it, the ledges are only made for one anyway." She winked and built up enough speed to soar off of the ground overhead. Her large dove-like wings swirled the air around her as she took off overhead, keeping an eye on Halloween from below.

Izzy Makani
Halloween nodded to Death and watched her soar into the air though she quickly turned her attention back to the rocky terrain as the first upward descent came. Halloween leapt up onto a large rock and then moved up using various foot holds. The loose rocks jiggled beneath Halloween's hooves as she climbed at a rather steady pacesoon coming to the top of the mound which then became a rocky little plain and not far off another upward path. Halloween took off at a gallop towards the next path ready to take it on.

neokitsune
Large white wings beat at the sky as Death swirled around the mountain for a moment before swivling back to where Halloween was. She had been quite right, she was incredible at climbing mountains. Letting a whicker of happiness float from her ghostly muzzle, Death swooped down at an angle passing Halloween on her run with her body almost completely upside down, wings spread wide and head thrown back. "You run quite well over rocks, you weren't kidding. Not that I ever doubted you." Her words became harder to hear as she swooped further away on the thermals. The upper part of her strong wings didn't catch the thermals as well becase the feathers were pointed in different directions.

Izzy Makani
Hooves knocking hard against the ground kicking up rocks Halloween whinnied at Death as she flew over. She kept climbing through the rocky plain making it fairly easy over each upward path. The paths quickly became steeper and steeper until there was no more flat plains only up hill slops with small ledges to rest on. Halloween's ascent slowed drastically the farther she went up.

She was beginning to get close to the top of the mountain peek now leaping from rock to rock as it was pretty much a straight up climb. But still she was getting it. She had climbed mountains before this one was no different.

neokitsune
Death floated up in the air around Halloween, she was a little worried that the other mare would fall to her doom on the rocks below. And Death didn't want her name to be what happened to her friend. Flicking her tail she stayed close, beating her wings to follow the calico mare over the rocks. If she fell then she could catch her and break her fall, though she wasn't sure how far she could hold her for, she wasn't a god or anything.

The sky was starting to darken slightly and that worried her even more, but Halloween seemed to know what she was doing. Spiraling lazily, Death swooped down into the valley between the two mountains before drifting back up near Halloween. She wished her new friend could fly, but Halloween was incredible as it was.

Izzy Makani
With a few more leaps and bounds Halloween stood at the very peek of the mountain looking out over the beautiful and wild terrain. She'd done it she was on the top of the mountain standing where very few wingless Soquili had ever stood. This was an accomplishment one she only wished she could remember forever. Glancing down Halloween's ears perked up there on the rocky ground was the feather of a bald eagle stuck between two rocks. Carefully Halloween pulled it loose and hooked it to the necklace around neck. A perfect suvenior.

Rearing onto her back legs Halloween whinnied loudly. Her whinny echoed throughout the mountain tops ringing back to her ears from many different angles making it sound as though many Soquili were on the mountain tops replying to her.

neokitsune
Death's answering whinny was louder than it normally was, her body swirling around the peak of the mountain and straight up through the clouds. Her friend had made it to the top, a place that even a Wind Soquili had issues landing on. To say that Death was massivly impressed would be an understatement. Swirling around in the clouds until they took the form of a rearing horse, she shot back down to the mountain peak with a bright smile. The mares large dove-like wings beat at the air to bring her to a stop near her friend, letting her simply stay there hovering in that space.

"Pretty isn't it?" Death asked after a long moment, reffering to the sunset in the distance. It was painting the horizon in the most delicate way she'd ever seen in her life, pinks and purples and oranges dancing together. Magical. Sometimes when she watched a sunset, the soquili wished that she could fly out over the distance and straight into it, painting herself in those same colors.

Izzy Makani
Halloween took a deep breath taking in the crisp mountain air. It sure cleared the senses. Looking over at Death she smiled and nodded peering back out at the sunset. "Oh yes. There's nothing more beautiful in the world." Halloween replied. There was little out there that could measure up if anything at all to a sunset. To see the bright blue sky set ablaze by the sun was one feature that made living all that much more exciting.

Halloween's first meeting of Nashota and Rahu.

samus x
Silent Spy
((K, some history on Nashota: Her parents past away. She lives with her twin brother, who is like a strict and over-protective father to her, but still her best friend. She has been having nightmares lately about seeing her parents as Soquilis, but then them running away.))

Nashota sits near the river, still thinking about her dreams.
(( =3 ah, and since you really wanna rp))

Rahu snorted as he came to the river to just be by himself. looking around the area, he noticed a two-legger out and pined his ears back. he never liked two-leggers after what happened when he was a colt. giving another snort, he went to the rivers edge and watched the two-legger.

Silent Spy
Nashota smiles at Rahu and walks towards him. She sensed that he felt uneasy as she approached him, so she stopped cautiously. She didn't want Rahu to run away...not like the dream.

"Hello," she said from a distance. "What's the matter?"

She didn't expect to get a straight answer, but she felt an attempt at some communication couldn't hurt.

samus x
(( =3 anyone can join in they want ))

Rahu glared at the two-legger with pinned back ears. give a snort, he was not going to fall for a two-legger being nice. steping back as she got closer, he heared her speak but did not care. stomping a hoof, he hoped to scare her off.

Silent Spy
Nashota sighs and takes a step closer to Rahu.

"Don't be afraid," said Nashota. "Of anything, I'm more afraid of you."

She said this, giving him the confidence of power.

Izzy Makani
A calico colored Soquili stood a bit away from the two legger and the stallion. Unsure about either of the two Halloween kept her eye on both as she moved around them from a safe distance.

samus x

Rahu continued to glare, and bared his teeth at her as she got closer. backing up, he did not want to let the two-legger any closer. stomping a hof again, he wondered why the two-legger kept coming. catchign a shitch of another soquili, he gave another snort.

Izzy Makani
Halloween lied her ear back against her head at the stallions snort. He seemed rather angry but she didn't understand why he would be mad. It was only a two-legger. They posed no threat.

Silent Spy
((Leaving in 10-15 minutes, but I'll RP till then! smile ))

Nashota smiled at the other Soquili.

"Hello there," she said. "He seems upset," she said, referring to Rahu.

"My name is Nashota," she said with a comforting smile. "My name means 'twin'."

samus x
Rahu quickly backed up more and looked at the other soquili. " mind geting this blasted two-legger away." turning his attention back to the two-legger, he gave another snort. he was very untrusting of them.

(( lol thats fine ))

Izzy Makani

Halloween stepped up to the two-legger and sniffed her face in a cat-like fashion, the whiskers on her muzzle twitching slightly as she sniffed. Backing up slightly Halloween nodded to Nashota in a greeting and stamped her hoof on the ground.

Silent Spy
"Hello there," she said, petting Halloween.

She still felt Rahu feeling uneasy around her.

"I think I scare him because I am a human," whispered Nashota to Halloween. "I wish I knew why he was afraid of me."

Izzy Makani

Halloween glanced at the stallion and snorted. "What's wrong with her? She seems fine." Halloween asked giving the stallion a puzzled look. Stallions could be so strange.

samus x
Rahu snorted and kept an eye on the two-legger. " because she is a two-legger. and i dont trust them at all." looking at the other soquili for a moment. " and who might you be?" it had been a while since he met some one new, but he was not going to relax around a two-legger.

Izzy Makani
Halloween glanced at the stallion and then snorted and nudged Nashota's shoulder. "Name's Halloween. And you?" She replied to the stallion and then nibbled on Nashota's hair.

samus x
(( =3 ok cya Silent! ))

Rahu eyed Halloween for a moment and watched her play with the two-legger hair. " the names Rahu." taking a few steps away from the two-legger, he wondered why Halloween would even be close to one.

Izzy Makani
Halloween stepped away from Nashota and trotted over to Rahu to get a closer look at him. "Nice name." She replied. "So what's this you have against two-leggers about not trusting them?"

samus x
Rahu shrunged. " thanks... and im not going to explain why i hate two-leggers and dont trust them." taking a moment to look around for anymore two-leggers, he turned back to Halloween. " besides why should i tell someone i just met anything? "

Izzy Makani
Halloween rolled her eyes at Rahu. "Whatever." She replied before trotting off a few feet away from and grazing on the grass. She knew there was a reason she didn't like stallions, and he was one of them.

samus x
Rahu snorted and went on his way. another reason he hated mares. not even saying any good byes, he went to go wander.

Halloween and Helaku's first meeting.

Izzy Makani
((Sure.))

Standing amidst the large grassy plains Halloween grazed amonst the lush green grasses. Her dark multi-colored body stood out amongst the bright colors the sun shining down on it making it gleam. The long white whiskers on her muzzle twitched slightly as she nibbled on the grasses. A light breeze rustled through Halloweens blackish mane and tail which caused her to shake her mane. Her mane back in place she peered up at the lightly clouded sky. Each white puff of cloud took a different shape in the sky. It was lovely.

Nel_Zelpher_2005
Helaku was walking out by himself for once, alone except for the tabby brown wolfling that trailed respectfully at a silent distance. Sighing, he stopped and looked up at the sky, trying to find something to quiet his troubled mind. Things were no longer going quite so smoothly with Chu'mana...she was now acting oddly. Not wrong really, just...different. And he found himself growing distant, despite his best efforts. He didn't want to. That wasn't his way. But lately, he was wondering if his own impulsive nature had led him into the wrong relationship.

Izzy Makani
Halloween's imagination took flight as she watched the clouds, each cloud looked different and all had some type of shape or form she could see clearly. It was astonashing! As the wind whiped around through the grasses Halloween caught the scent of another Soquili and the masculine scent of a Stallion at that. Great just what she needed a stallion to ruin her day. Halloween turned her attentions from the clouds to the ground spotting the stallion walking by himself not far from her. He seemed pretty much lost in his own devices and even a little troubled. Just the kind she could anger or even attack. Goody! Halloween started towards the stallion at a trot and called out to him. "Yo! Hey you! What are you doing there?" Halloween called as she trotted over to the stallion.

Nel_Zelpher_2005
Helaku started and snorted, before relaxing slightly at the sight of the mare. Patched rather than striped as she was, still her dark coat reminded him of his mother Delphia. Those eyes, though...those eyes. Green as the grass sprouting beneath his feet, as the leaves budding on the trees. "Just taking a walk," he said with a hint of weariness.

Izzy Makani
Halloween slowed to a walk as she came closer to the stallion. He reminded her of a strange type of raccoon with the stripes in his tail and the mask on his face. It almost made her want to smile... almost. "Just a walk?!" Halloween replied aghast. "You sir are one troubled Stallion!" Halloween trotted around him and came to a stop in front of him and nodded her head. "Yep! Troubled in deed! You're whole composure shows it!"

Halloween stepped closer to the stallion so they were almost touching muzzles. "So. What's gotcha in such a bunch? Get in a fight with your two-legger, lose your favorite berry...? Care to share?" Halloween asked hoping the stallion might spill his problem then she could tease him and mock him. Oh it would be delish!

Nel_Zelpher_2005
Helaku laid his ears back and snapped at the mare's muzzle. Not enough to do damage, mind you, but enough to smart a bit and warn her to keep her face out of his. "That's none of your business at the moment. Why, I don't even know your name." That...and he didn't want to leave himself vulnerable to yet another mare. He wasn't about to open his heart again so easily.

Izzy Makani
Halloween leapt back and snorted while wiggling her muzzle a bit trying to stop the tingling feeling the stallions snap had brought on. Halloween felt a bit of anger bubble inside her at the stallions snap almost ready to rear and attack him. She quickly closed her eyes and took a deep breath to attack one from within you must be close enough to know them within. And she now wanted to know within this stallion, the stinging on her muzzle was nothing compared to the stinging she would cause him from within.

"How silly of me!" Halloween quickly replied regaining her happy composure and bowing in greeting to the stallion. "I am known as Halloween. Now what might you're name be?"

Nel_Zelpher_2005
Helaku's muzzle twisted in a wry smile. So she thought she'd lull him into a false sense of security and then attack. Well, now he knew better than to let her and her green catty eyes too close. "Interesting name, Halloween. Mine would be Helaku, son of Sora and Delphia. You look a bit like Delphia, only with green eyes instead of gold." Suddenly, his ears laced back and he snapped at her muzzle again, aiming to hold her still. "Don't start plotting against me, miss catty. I've gone through enough s**t lately I don't have the patience for it."

Izzy Makani
Halloween didn't even have time to reply to Helaku before the stallion had snapped at her again and this time kept his hold. Halloween let out what only could have been mistaken for a cat's snarl. "Let go of me Stallion!" Halloween hissed. It was pretty easy to see this stallion wasn't going to put up with her or her antics to bad too. Playing with his mind would have been fun.

Nel_Zelpher_2005
"Treat me with respect and I'll do the same for you, miss Halloween," Helaku rumbled before letting the mare go, keeping a wary eye on her. "Toy with me and you'll learn what it's like to make a stallion with honor mad. I may not fight with mind tricks, or trickery, but that makes me no less a stallion."

Izzy Makani
Halloween quickly stepped from Helaku's reach. He had a nice bite on him that was for sure, her muzzle will still be throbbing hours from now. "Respect?! I haven't found a stallion yet that deserves my respect. Unless you can prove otherwise you'll get no respect from me." Halloween replied her head held high with defiance gleaming in her green eyes. She'd had enough disrespect from stallions in her lifetime that she didn't need another one and just cause she looked different. Halloween snarled at the memories they were enough to send her into a wild rage. "...Honor? What's this honor you speak of? So few have this 'honor'. What is it? If you have it you should know."

Helaku shrugged, appearing to retreat back into the "polite" Helaku he usually was, though those that knew him would know the difference. This one was cooler, more aloof. "Honor is the courage to try...and the wisdom to know when one has failed. Honor is standing for your beliefs, despite pressure to change, and protecting those that cannot protect themselves." He looked at her cooly. "Does that answer your question?"

Halloween nodded. She had a bit of honor in her she had this courage and the wisdom however protecting others surely wasn't her thing. She tended to stick to herself and keep others away. To protect another would mean being close to another one thing she hadn't ever done. "Yes. Thank you." Halloween replied her tone still just a tid bit snappish from Helaku's attack on her. She had been being nice even during her sly moments to damage him.

Helaku shook his long mane slightly. Now that he'd calmed down he regretted snapping at her. It wasn't her fault he and Chu'mana hadn't worked out, that was his own fault. As well as Chu'mana's, though the blame lay with both of them. "Sorry for snapping, I don't seem to be in the best of moods."

Halloween shrugged glancing at the grass at her hooves and then back at Helaku. It was quite a shock for her to hear him appologize but she kept her shock hidden rather well her expression staying mostly uncaring. "It's cool. We all have our bad moments. Let's try this again..." Halloween said before going quiet for a few moments and then lifting her head up into a proud position and then bowing it to Helaku. "Hi. I'm Halloween."

Helaku showed a small, wry smile. This mare seemed surprised...were all stallions truly such arrogant idiots around here as his herd alpha seemed to think? Perhaps so...then Helaku would just have to be different. "And my name is Helaku. Son of Delphia and Sora." He lifted his head slightly. "I look more like my dam Delphia though...raccoonish, if you will."

Halloween gave an amused grin at Helaku's comment on the raccoonishness of him. "Well you're certainly don't act like any raccoon I've ever known." Halloween said glancing around in what could almost be a playful gesture. "They like to play with other animals minds." Halloween chuckled slightly it felt so odd to actually talk peacefully with a stallion almost unnatural.

Helaku quirked a brow mischeivously. "And who says I don't? For all you know I could just be lulling you into a false sense of security, it's your trust in my honor that hasn't led you into thinking that's so." He tossed his head. "Luckily I simply look like a raccoon, but I don't act too much like them. My mother looks a lot more like one, my sire's nearly white so I ended up a bit lighter than she. Brother Dyre's got some of her dark coloring but still doesn't look much like either." A soft sigh. "Not that I've seen him much since we grew."

User ImageHalloween grinned at Helaku's attempt to make her doubt. It worked partially but she kept her expression solumn so not to allow him to see it. "You have a brother?" Halloween asked as she flicked her tail from side to side.

Halloween and Tawali's first meeting.

Izzy Makani
Halloween stood at the edge of a forest peering out at the plains before her that seemed to stretch on forever. They looked so inviting, the wind caused the tall green and tan grass to sway from side to side making it seem as though each blade of grass was dancing on a dance floor with its partner beside it. A sight to behold and Halloween was loving it. The urge to romp through the dancing grass was quickly becoming overwhelming. She stamped her foot on the ground and swung her head from side to side. Her hooves itched to feel the dirt and grass so badly but she didn't want to leave the protective forest.

Up in the pale, white blue sky, a form drifted in lazy circles above a large, open plain of land. A long, red banner of a tail swirled in the wind, along with a short red mane. One leg was red, a hind one, making it look as though the stallion had stepped into a large pot of paint. The male circled a few more times, seeing no other Soquili, before circling down, light hooves touching the lush green grass, large wings fluttering a few more times before he landed fully and whickered happily. The plain was simple and lush, green and tan for miles around. There was a small stream to the side, which Tawali had noticed only briefly. Amazing cyan green eyes peered around a little. No other Soquili? Shame, he'd have liked to meet some of the others. Braided tail flicking his side, red tipped wings fluffing up before settling properly, Tawali considered his surroundings.

It seemed like the perfect place for Soquili to graze! Open air, plenty of lush grass, a stream, lots of space to run, either in fun or in fear. Tawali high stepped for a moment, forelegs drawing up into his chest before striding out. Bucking for a while, energy rippling through his body, Tawali settled and shook out his head and mane. His tattooed throat and flanks glintered in their blue colour, a contrast to the red and pale tan of his coat. Resting his left hind leg on the tip of the hoof, cyan green eyes looking around for a moment, Tawali chewed on some grass, deciding to ignore the rest of the world. Nice. All alone, no one to talk to. What a greeting! His green and cyan feathers whispered in the wind, and Tawali frowned. Damned things, they kept doing that. Changing the direction of his front end, Tawali stepped out of the wind, feathers and beads resting on his chest and in his tail.

Halloween's eyes widened as she spotted a flash of red in the sky she had seen winged Soquili's before and specifically met the one called Death. The very first Soquili she'd ever actually met. Perhaps this one was like Death. That would make it a joy to run with this Soquili it was always so much fun to run with a winged one they always made it difficult to keep up which made it a challenge. And she could never turn down a challenge.

She hesitated for a moment watching as the winged Soquili landed in the distance. For a moment she gazed longingly out to where the Soquili had landed and then made up her mind. Taking one slow step out into the grass she then took off seconds later in a full out run racing for the distance. She tore up the grass with her hooves as she ran sending blades of grass flying in her wake. It seemed like only a matter of moments before she came to a speeding hault in front of, not a mare, but a stallion. Caught by surprise her eyes widened and she snorted.
