Can a DS play MP3s or Movie? No. Can a PSP? Yes.
Can the DS surf my DeviantArt page? No. Can my PSP? Yeeeeesssss.
DOES THE DS HAVE WALLPAPERS? No! Does the PSP? Suh-weet, yes.
Can you store movies and photos on the DS? No. Can you do so on the PSP? Ch'yes.
Does the DS have endless possibilities for games? Two words. Brain Age. stare Stupidest game concept ever. Does the PSP? Yes, because they don't try to rely on one aspect of the handheld itself. Nintendo is running out of useful ideas for the DS stylus. That got old fast.
Bottom line: All together, PSP wins out. It's just -cooler-. More thought out, and not as rushed as Nintendo products are. Nintendo tried to proclaim its supremecy by releasing a new system every 4 minutes. Not that I don't love my SP, Advance, and Color, but I won't invest in anything right away, because I know in a year they'll have something new I'd have to save up for. razz for kids, I could understand. The DS is plastic, and easier to replace, but for the majority of handheld gamers, who are teens and adults, the PSP just covers every playing feild effortlessly and gracfully.

I have both and personally I like the DS better. The graphics may be better on the PSP but the games suck. Most gamers get the DS because Nintendo created it unlike the PSP which was made by Sony. I had to replace my PSP within around 2 weeks of having it and I didn't do anything wrong to it. But the DS hasnt broke yet. 3nodding
