I agree with not pairing j-rockers that have absolutely nothign to do with each other. On this issue, i straddle the fence being a yaoi fangirl myself. But in the end, it's all a fantasy, fanfiction is exactly that, fiction. i think as long as writers keep it personal there's nothign wrong with it.
while i think you know, they're real people with real feeling, we shoudl respect them more, the fangirl side of me justifies pairing them because of fanservice and other writers.
And yes, claming is rude, annoying, and obnoxious. you can;t claim soneone you've never met. if it's all in joking it's fine, but if you're dead serious and actually fight other fans for it, you're going way overboard.
i've seen a few other threads like this one, i'm just surprised i've got more people saying "it's fine" on this other site, people vehemently protested.
and yes, smut/lemon fics do get annoying. i do enjoy a plot

There is one fanfiction I always read, but it's because the writing style is amazing. And as for the pairings, you think of it more like well known characters than actual people. I don't know why, but I'm okay reading Gazette and alice nine fanfics, but when I move onto other bands it's just like, "Woah, okay, that's weird." >__O
I remember visitng this one J-Rock board where the fangirls were fighting over who owned Hiroto. And they were being serious. It was...very sad, to say the least. rolleyes

I like DeG fanfics personally, as long as they have some form of a plot. There's this one amazing one I read, it isn't finished. Takes place in the 1600's I believe, I love it to death and check just about everyday to see if she put a new chapter up. Went and left off in the worst place possible, poor Kaoru was locked inside of Aomori. u.u

I've read some good L'Arc~en~Ciel ones. The writer Jyojyoushi is very good at her fanfiction. Nyde is another good one. Excellent authoresses, great plots. CaressofVenus is another favorite.

Yeah there are... just few and far between. [There's Sheena Ringo. Both Head Phones President and High & Mighty Color have female vocalists. DangerGang is an all-female VK group.]

I think its great!! Its so cute!! It shouldn't matter to other people anyways, if they want to be like that, then they should do it for themselves....its great, cause they are original in that aspect....i mean seriously, do you see alot of american bands doing things like that? No!!

Yes, fanservice really don't help the siutation any, now does it? rofl rofl Gackt is pretty famous for his fanservices although I've heard alot of bands have stopped doing things like that onstage.
Female J-rockers? Well, I know there's Anna Tsuchiya...although she's more pop alone, her band Spin Aqua is more rock.

I don't really like it because it's not like fanfiction for books and TV shows. In book or TV shows you can see what all the characters are thinking and such. You can't do that with music. And I dislike it because some people just put together whoever's hottest... >_>
(not that that doesn't happen in other fanfics)
As for female J-rockers, didn't Malice Mizer have a female backup vocal at some point?

I'm for it cause, hell, with the fanservice and the way they look, how can you NOT support it? ^^;; But at the same time it's like...not right. I just really really REALLY hate when people get into huge debates over it like who is screwing who and who is cheating on who with who. And fanfics...I don't mind them...but at least put a plot in them and write well. The majority of people who would read em are grammar and spelling nazis. XD And I feel sorry for poor Toshiya. The fans shouldn't have scarred his poor mind with their fantasies. x__x; Sure, I'm a huge Toshiyaxanyone in Diru fangirl...but sending fanfics to them about what you can imagine them doing? That's just sick and wrong. I guess I'm just kinda in the middle with Vampi and the rest. I support it but at the same time I don't...if that makes sense? o.o; -goes in her corner to imagine her and Vampi following Diru and Miyavi around in their town for a day with a video camera-
