Kijinga smiled. 'This is of good news Kimeti, I'm most glad to know that more of the blood are returning to the pride. We must be building in strength I'd only hope, yes?' she flicked her gaze to Tamu who gallantly stepped forth towards his uncle, pronouncing his name aloud. 'Silly boy,' she teased, mainly to herself as her gaze looked to Ripuka briefly. She had once been in the pack? Well that brought little surprise to Kijinga, seeing that her pelt was of the color. Her age, well the look's of her at least, seemed elderly and in turn it helped pull some theories that lurked in her mind to rest. With a gentle, coaxing chuckle, she looked to Ny hopefully, only wanting her children to be true to their leader.
Tamu'meka smiled and puffed his whiskers with confidence. It was pleasing to know that this fine, older male was the leader of such a great kingdom, as he gathered, and also part of his close blood. His uncle for heavens sake! Stiffening his tail with the attention he so rightfully deserved from Kimeti, he responded briefly. 'Alright then, Uncle.' though of course Kimeti would never amount to the idolization that of his father. He was brimming with pride for just a moment longer before his essential attention was drawn away by the linger and extremely mischievous Ny. He growled and pouted slightly, something Kijinga took notice of, and hesitantly bounded towards his sisters side, seating himself next to her white form. 'This is Ny.' he murmured, something almost inaudible and spoken mainly to no one in particular. He grunted roughly, feeling his hackles twitch with irritation as his sister took the spot light, yet cooled his britches with the intense stare of his mother.
Which Kijinga played out well. She spotted Tamu's instant change in attitude, his drifting sense of pride lingering off as his sister took hold of Kimeti's attention. She watched him, momentarily, giving off an uneasy glare, until her son peered towards her, which at that moment she hardened her stare and quirked a brow, snorting softly. Mouthing off the word 'Stop', she looked to her brother, her features softening with his playful demeanor.
Tamu's upper lip twitched irritably, yet he sighed and fell into defeat with little choice.

Teleka smiled, "Yes I know that feeling. I returned in fear though, it is a long story but it was most definatly nice to be home again!" He smiled and moved forward to get a drink. His throat was drying out in the heat. He was however listening to his cubs, it was hard not hear Ny when she was in a good mood but now she was far too loud and he wanted to just pin her down and have his paw over her maw but he thought against doing it, especially in front of so many.
Ny didn't say anything to Kimeti. "I can play with what I want to and I want to play with your tail!" She let out her feeble snarl as she circled around him to get to his tail but she then heard her brother say her name and she pounced him and westled to pin him down. "You dont give my name away idiot! He might be an imposter! Pretneding to be the king!" She snarled at attempted to scratch her brother, her claws going here and there and her small snarl sounding not much more then a few squeaks.

Ripuka yawned and stretched out her body to bask in the hot desert sun, eyes half-lidding as she enjoyed the tingling sensation of the sun dappling across her back. Teleka's voice reached her ears and she twitched them in his direction to show that she was indeed still listening.
All around her the voices washed over her, Kimeti's words to his sister and her replies, the cubs as they introduced themselves to their uncle. There was a sense of peace and kinship here that she had missed all those years ago. She was in no way a friendly lioness but she would never bear a fang at those she considered family unless they give good reason.
For now she would hide the fact that a few of the pride was not to her liking and wait and see. She had no intention on gettting thrown out after her tiring journey back to this place. She didn't think she'd survive the journey back into the free lands at any rate.
Without a word she moved to lay her head on her forepaws.
She had yet to discover who had fallen out of tradition and was slowly preparing some questions she could use in future meetings in order to determine this.

The dark red lioness slowly padded over the dune's, her ears flat against her skull as her deep, yellow eye's watched the equally golden sands of her home. She'd been looking after her first born, trying to keep an eye on the other's at the same time but to no evail. The little rascal's had been avoiding her.
However she saw no downside, she had only one cub to look after right now and the rest where strong and completely able to call out for her or their father for help.
Damu meanwhile, relished the fact he had his mother all to himself. Big baby blue eye's watching her as he proudly padded by her side, tail held up high in the air like that of a warthog's before the couple passed over the next dune and discovered the little group.
The cub's insatiable curiousity getting the better of him as he looked on, even remembering his white cousin from their meeting before.
"Whoa!" He started. "Who are all those lions mama?"
He knew his mother would know, because in his eyes, his mother and father knew everything.
Mpeka's ears swivveled toward's her young one and she chuckled. "Those are the members of your pride and family...come...we must go say hello." She said sollemly before walking toward's the group, smirking at the sight of her brother as her young son quickly followed.

Teleka turned to see his children fighting. His stomach suddenly felt a little sick and a snarl in his throat. He didn't say anything he let Kijinga do that but as soon as Ny was away from Tamu for a second he picked her up, feeling the struggling girl in his mouth he dropped her in the shallow water to "cool off". It was then he saw his sister and for the first time porperly his nephew.
He looked at Tamu slightly and then smiled at Kijinga now the two had seperated. He looked down at Ny and couldn't leave where he was because of her rushing to her brother so he just nodded his head at his sister. "Hello sis." Was pretty much all he said. His paw suddenly moving to stop the little hite cub from charging at her brother again.
He looked at Ripuka and felt bad, as if they were pushing her out of conversation with his and Kijingas family around them. He sighed and laid down himself one paw on his daughters tail again.
Ny felt her brothers anger towards her suddenly so became vicious herself. She may be younger and smaller but she could move a little faster, for two reasons, her size and her gender. She loved being female as she could do so much more then her brother and always will be able to do more. She raised her head and licked her lips for a second to catch her breath as she felt her paws being lifted from the ground.
She attacked her father till she felt her falling into the water. She snarled and lapped up some water before waiting for her fathers attention to flicker somewhere else. She then smiled and rushed towards her brother, being stopped by her father again she just laid, golden eyes staring at her brother and a snarl in her throat. "I will get you Tamu, just wait!" She was sulking now there was no doubt about it.
She did turn her golden eyes to see her cousin and his mother. She tilted her head slightly and licked at her paws. She was a girl and a proud one at that.

Kijinga smirked to Teleka as he took hold of Ny and dipped her into the water. It would have done her good if she wasn't so hot-headed and ready to kill. Her massive form suddenly dwelled over Tamu's as the two were separated, her eyes flicking from her daughter to her son to their mate and back in a looping process that seemed to go on forever, till she looked towards the approaching pair.
'Ah' she breathed, happy to see Teleka's sister and son coming towards them. It would do the lot good to meet one another, seeing that they were all family. Yet much like Teleka, she felt horrible for suddenly excluding Ripuka from their meeting, and instead bowed her head like her mate in greeting before turning towards the lounging elder lioness. 'Ripuka, how do you come about these lands? Were they once home to you in the past, as I recently assumed?' snatching up her son and drifting towards the water's bay, she came towards Ripuka and flopped her body and her son onto the dirt, taking one last glance about the forge they found peace in.
Tamu'meka was by no means pleased to see his father take Ny away after they were just beginning to fight it out, yet he was filled with pride when she could no longer come towards him--giving the young male a sense of winning. She was defeated by default, he presumed, and gladly to that opportunity to purr loudly and stretch his free body on the dirt. It was, of course, until his mother loomed over head that he looked towards Ny curiously. Her words crossed his path moments before he was lifted off the earth, his body curling into a tight ball in her grip. Once he was back to his feet, his body spun about, looking to his pale sisters. 'I can't wait sister.' his smirk was of evil means as he glared to Ny and looked away haughtily. His younger sister may think what she likes, for he knew she must believe herself to be better then he, but she would just have to wait till he was older, like their father. He'd show her his strength, whether it be through words or brute force and honestly, that day couldn't seem more exciting if it were a second later.

Ny just watched her brother, the dunk in the water had cooled her off and instead of calming her it meant she was more then ready to fight again and all to happy to. She just stared at her brother her tail might be held down but that stupid brother of hers would learn a lesson, why did he always think he was the better of the two anyway? Stupid boy.

Ripuka had not minded being overlooked, in fact she had quite enjoyed the moment of peace to allow her to collcet her thoughts. It was still very strange to be home again and talking with real lions, true Firekin. And yet they were different.
Things here had changed and as she lay upon the sand and observed the actions of others she wondered what had happened here to bring such great changes.
Her mother and father had never been affectionate of her, fiercely protective and proud but more because of the fact that Ripuka bore a brilliant red pelt and a strength and mind that screamed Firekin. She twitched the end of her tail and turned her good eye to Kijinga as the younger female addressed her once more.
"Yes I was born and raised in these very lands by my parents with no siblings to hinder my growth. I was taught in the ways of tradition and was expected to become a strong and wise hunter which would please our great Finar-si." Her lip curled in the beginnings of a snarl and suddenly she turned her head away, staring off at the horizon. She was aware now of the close proximity of the other lioness but forced herself to relax. She was a rogue no longer and these others were her kin.
"I return here led by the words that our pride had fallen and yet...here you all are. I was told tradition has been lost." She turned back to face the other, a stern look on her face. "Is this true Kijinga?" She growled a little but made no effort to move. "Have we all forgotten what our Goddess did for us?"
Ripuka still lived very much in the past.

Kijinga watched Ripuka shift into an angered state of mind, and instinctively she tensed. It was obvious that she was indeed a member of the Firekin and presently lived in the past, but the young female wasn't sure she herself would be the person to report the new beginnings within the pride.
'I see, well it is good that you've returned.' she commented, to the first part of the other females speech, her weight shifting uneasily. It was hard to comprehend what Ripuka was asking her, for she never exactly knew of the Goddess or the ways she helped the Firekin. It would be hard for her to explain what had happened, seeing that she herself had found distance between the main pride and the wandering rouges. Curling her tail, she hesitated to speak. 'Past tradition, so I've seen and been told, may have been lost, but I am not the one to tell for certain. I myself have not found the closeness to my pride as one would expect of me. I also lack in knowledge of how the Firekin once was ruled. I--I am ashamed to say that because of my lack of knowing, it's lead me to become fairly uncertain of how well or how ill the Firekin pride is becoming.' she paused, her eyes fixed on Ripuka's. 'But as for as my common sense goes, I'd only imagine this land has changed and the members have certainly looked to different and more broadened views from the time you were here.'
Kijinga bore a sharp tongue, the growl that came from Ripuka's throat causing her pride to swell.
Tamu'meka decided hesitantly to move away from his sister's, mind wise, and flexed under his mother's grasp, flopping to his belly and licking at his paws lamely.

Teleka was unaware of what exactly was going on, after all, he had a little white fur ball taking up all his strength and attention to keep under control. No matter what he did she would get away from him untill he stood with the squirming white cub in his mouth.
What was wrong with trying to kill your brother anyway? Thats all she wanted to do... just save him from life!
Teleka sighed and took his daughter, giving everyone an apologetic look he left theg roup to teach his daughter a lesson.
