My first RP with Sandalon Sandalon Sandalon blinked his green eyes sleepily from the couch. He streched his hands out, small claws needing into the fabric as he slowly woke up. He shook his head, silvery hair falling over a shoulder, before sitting up covering a yawn. He had slept on the couch? How strange, he usually didn't care to sleep in the store. Artemus Artemus walked into the sanctuary for the first time. Honestly, he was surprised to see a feline sitting up on a couch with a blanket around him. He knew that he would meet other hybrids, but not within the first few seconds of walking in. "Good morning." Sandalon Sandalon cluched the blanket towards himself as the words sounded. "What..I..Good morning," he finally said face turned so his hair covered his features. He sunk into the corner of the couch trying to wake up fully. Artemus Artemus looked at the feline oddly. "What's wrong?" To him it looked like the cat was trying to hide from him. He hadn't even done anything to the hybrid... Sandalon "Nothing wrong, why would you think something is wrong?" Sandalon asked voice small. He always became shy when meeting new people, the only one that differed had been Indu. "Your..your staring a me most odd." He said ears falling. Artemus Artemus averted his eyes. "It looked like you were hiding," he murmured, blushing slightly. "I didn't mean to stare, sorry," he muttered again. He wrapped his tail around his stomach, feeling embarrased. Sandalon Sandalon slid his hair back to get a glance at the other. "Are? Are you embarressed?" He questioned softly looking at the tail in intrest. His ears perked up some. Artemus Artemus' blush deepened a little. "A little I suppose," he muttered. "I didn't mean to be so...I don't know." He sighed and looked over to the hybrid. "It's a little awkward, but I'm Artemus." Sandalon Sandalon looked up at Artemus. "I'm Sandalon."He said softly and giggled as the other tripped over his words. "YOur all tripping." Artemus Artemus grinned at Sandalon. "My mind's tripping, I certainly hope that it's not my feet when I'm standing still," he joked. He went and leaned against a wall. "So, how long have you been here?" To him, it sounded like a lousy way to start a conversation, but at least it was conversation. Sandalon "Not long, not even a month." Sandalon replied. Truthfully less then a week, he did not enter the shop often. He was shy of other but Indu was different. He gave a small smile at the rather lame joke. Artemus Artemus nodded. "It's my first time in here. It was a little bit of a surprise to run into you so soon." He swished his tail around, more comfortable around Sandalon now. Sandalon "I fell a sleep here, other wise we would not have met." He replied giving a carefree shrugg of his shoulder. "I usually do not come here often." Artemus "I see," Artemus stated. "I'm glad to have met you then, I guess. How often do you come here then?" he asked curiously. Sandalon "OUt of the month, about four times." He said blushing faintly. It was hard to tell with his carmel like skin. "As I said, I come here only rarely." Artemus Artemus grinned. "Well, I'm glad to have caught you then. It seems like it may be easier for me to get used to the sanctuary." He looked around. "I was nervous coming here before."

RP with Keir and YoukoKeir Keir padded into the shop slowly. He looked around, taking it all in, his tail flicked in interest. He.. had never been here before. He spun slightly seeing everything. "Wow..." He padded through the door and began to look for life. "Hello?"
Artemus Artemus had been exploring the room since Sandalon left, so he could hear the front door to the sanctuary open. He wandered to the door and saw a tiger. "Hello," he stated. Youko Youko walked in the shop right after a red tiger... He hadn't quite been in the mood to interact with others. But the fox knew that he couldn't hide at home. Plus, it probably wasn't his nerves, but his hormones. Once again, going crazy! Keir He blushed brightly and looked to the side. "H-hi..." His tail flicked back and forth. It proved he wasn't afraid. He muttered in his head about having to be able to control his tail better. Artemus Artemus' eyes flicked to the front door when he saw another hybrid enter. "Hello there," he called, before turning his attention to the tiger. He tilted his head, looking at the tiger. "Is something wrong?" he asked when he saw the tail flicking. Youko The silver fox snuck in after the tiger. He waved an acknowledgement and plopped down in a couch. Youko decided that he could just watch the two interact. If only so he wouldn't accidently snap at them. That would be AWFUL. Keir Keir smiled and blushed, nodding. "Fine.. I'm Keir Saurai. And you.. all are?" Artemus "Artemus," he stated. He looked over to the other fox, concerned. "Are you okay? Youko Youko looked up at the others, blinking. His mind was working rather slow... "Oh I'm fine.... Just raging hormones. That's all." he replied, heaving a sigh. "Don't worry about me..." Keir Keir blinked. "Hormones?" He blinked innocently. Artemus Artemus looked at the other fox curiously. "Why would you have raging hormones? I mean, you did go through puberty already right?" He stifled laughter when he heard Keir's question. "Hormones, you know, when you were younger and crazier... that was because of hormones." Youko "Eh..." Youko groaned, leaning back in his chair. "Pregnant." he said, opening a golden eye to look at them. If they cracked ONE joke about it, he was going to lose it... The laughing was enough to get his blood boiling. Oh yes, horomones were certainly getting to the fox. Keir "Pregant?" He smiled. "Lucky..." Youko "Lucky? How the hell am I LUCKY?" Youko asked, crossing his arms before him. "I'm cranky all the time, I break down crying for no darn reason and then other times I'm so horny I go after anything that MOVES!" the fox said, growling. Artemus Artemus blinked. Once. Twice. "Pregnant?" he whispered, eyes widening to the size of dinner plates. "Whose children?" he whispered. Well, that was a first. He hadn't ever heard of a pregnant hybrid. Never mind he had only come in yesterday. Youko The silver kitsune rolled his eyes. "Sirius Black." he replied simply. Looking at his stomach. Dammit... I can already start tell... he thought moodily. But maybe it was just because he KNEW he was pregnant... Either way, he didn't like it. Keir He blinked and smiles. "Means someone cares for you..."

RP with mainly IndumauliIndu Indumauli rolled around in a bored manner on the couch, letting out a small sigh as he lifted himself and shuffled into the kitchen, kicking a cupboard open and poking at the bottles inside, trying to make a decision of which he was going to snag. Each had a nice bit of alchol in it, and the idea of a hot liquid sinking down his throat made the wolf shiver with delight. Artemus Artemus entered the Sanctuary, he had been out longer than he meant to. He decided to be a bit more adventurous instead of heading to the book room. He went in the opposite direction. He looked left and right at all of the different rooms, and stopped when he caught sight of a hybrid. A hybrid that was poking something... He went inside curious. "What are you looking for?" he asked. Indu Indu glanced back at the other hybrid that just entered. "I'm... looking for..." he stared for a short moment in confusion, and grinned with excitement. This seemed like the good boy type. "Liquor... Lots and lots of alchol..." Artemus Artemus' eyes narrowed at the mention of liquor. "Really?" he drawled. He wasn't very happy about it. "Why exactely?" he continued. Indu "Why exactly am I going to drink liquor...?" Indumauli raised an eyebrow at the other hybrid. The wolf then snickered. "Why do I watch E.R...?" the male replied, "I'll tell you why... because it makes me feel 'good' ... and liquor just happens to do the same thing."
He had to admit... he wasn't the type to watch television, but when he was the type... that was one of his more favored shows. And it made a good example.
The wolf hybrid's ears twitched when he heard other feet pit pattering against the floor. Artemus Artemus suppressed a twitch and turned around. "No doubt you drink yourself drunk," he snarled. "It's the people around you that suffer then." Artemus started to walk out of the kitchen. He wasn't going to watch someone drink. Indu Indumauli tilted his head and snickered. Well... he had to admit... that was rather interesting. "Oh, come on fox... you don't even have any idea who I am... you can't hate me just because I drink..." he ran an icy hand through his hair.
The wolf had his own reasons for drinking... Artemus Artemus stared frostily at the hybrid. "I have my reasons," he replied coldly. He blinked and sighed, placing a hand over his eyes. "But, I suppose you would to... he didn't though. Artemus' eyes narrowed again, this time at an old memory. Indu Indumauli raised an eyebrow, shutting the cupboard at getting to his feet before standing before the other hybrid. "Hey, fox boy... are you alright?" he questioned, shortly after strolling over. Artemus Artemus attempted to smile, failing miserably. His body felt sore all over. "I'm fine," he lied, gritting his teeth. Why did this always have to happen at the worst moments? Indu Indu crossed his arms over his chest and studied the other hybrid for a short moment before letting out a snicker. "I'm suprised your nose hasn't grown you little liar..." he declared, he then stepped over to the sink, taking out a glass from the cupboard and filling it. "Do you need water?" he questioned, turning with the cold glass. Artemus Artemus glared at the hybrid. "I'm fine," he stressed. The pain was ebbing away now, but he knew that it would return stronger in an hour. It always happened. He leaned carefully on the wall, staring at the hybrid. "Who are you?" he asked bluntly. Indu Indumauli blinked for a short moment before stepping over to the fox hybrid and pouring the contents of the glass on his head. Watching as the water made wet the other's black and white hair.
"I'm Indumauli..." he replied after a short moment, knowing that he might get yelled at or attacked for his action in pouring water on the other hybrid. Artemus Artemus glared at Indumauli through his now wet hair. "And what was that for?" he hissed. He was angry now... and the last time that happened an extra dead body appeared on the streets. Never mind that that person had caused personal trauma when he was little. He was pissed, and he wouldn't forget it. Break here... Indu Indumauli let out a small, amused laugh. "Sorry Fox..." he whispered to himself as he watched the other leave the room. "Just did what I saw in the movies..." the wolf gave a shrug, and sunk into a chair in the kitchen. Artemus Artemus' ears twitched as he heard a voice from the kitchens. He sighed and returned to the kitchen and sat down across from Indumauli, rubbing his temples. "Movies are part of the reasons that the population is so messed up," he muttered. He looked up at Indumauli through his bangs. "I am going to get you back for that," he promised. Indu Indumauli tilted his head and snickered. "Get me back...? Dear goddesses Fox... going through-" he stopped his statement... the wolf really didn't want to be portrayed as to rude and didn't want to insult the fox too much, considering the other hybrid's condition.
The wolf's ears twitched when he heard someone enter the kitchen, and he glanced quietly over to Youko, then back to Artemus, and the wolf gave a sigh... Artemus Artemus smiled wryly. "It seems stupid to most people, but as someone once told me. I hold grudges. He sighed as his headache began to ease. "It's better for it to be a little prank than for it to fester," he stated. "Last time I did that someone died." He smiled slightly. Indu Indumauli tilted his head in slight confusion at the wave, holding in a cackle.
"Ah... so you killed a person too?" Indu brought his eyes to the fox and frowned. "Not as much excitement as you thought it would be... is it...?" he got to his feet and exited the room, sickened by the thought of the past. Artemus Artemus stared at his fingernails. "I keep telling myself that it was self-defense... except that it was when he was roaring drunk. As always." Artemus crinkled his nose as he said the last sentence. He sat back as Indumauli left, and sighed as he waved back to Youko.

Err... little spat with Youko after Indu left. Youko "Hey." Youko said softly, slamming the fridge door. He didn't find any pizza. Now what was he supposed to eat?! Everything else sounded awful. Artemus Artemus hissed softly as his arm started to hurt. He grabbed in painfully. "How are you doing?" he asked, forcing the words out of his mouth. When Youko slammed the fridge door, he could feel his head pound slightly. "What's wrong?" he asked. Youko "Fine..." Youko growled, frowning as he searched through the cabinets. "Nothing's wrong. I'm perfectly fine..." the fox replied. "What's wrong with you?" he asked, seeing Artemus hiss. Artemus Artemus shook his head. "The moon," he replied, clenching a hand. "Just the equivalent of girls PMSing," he laughed. He looked back at Youko. "You sounded like something was bothering you," he stated. Youko The fox smirked. "Oh, I see." he murmured. Well at least someone else was suffering. Misery loves company. "It's nothing you need to know." Youko replied, a little colder than he had intended. Artemus Artemus grinned painfully. "Well its evident that it's bothering you now," he stated. He nodded towards the now empty chair. "Why don't you sit down?" he asked. He began to relax as the pain faded. It wasn't done yet, he knew. It was never done, not until the moon set. It got worse towards midnight and then faded. Youko Sighing, Youko took the offered seat. Maybe it would be good for him if he talked out his worries. "It's just.... It's Sirius..." the fox said, crossing his arms before him and resting them on his growing tummy. Artemus Artemus let out a breath that he didn't know he had been holding. "Oh," he stated. He looked over to the cabinets. "I talked to Sirius recently," he whispered. Youko Golden eyes narrowed. "You did? What did he say?" Youko asked forcefully. "Tell me, I want to know." No, not want. The fox needed to know. Artemus Artemus looked over at Youko. "We, we didn't talk much. I mentioned you in the passing and he asked if I had met you before." He smiled wryly. "He flew objects around my head. I went out afterwards." He looked at Youko. "What happened? Or should I stick my nose out of it?" he asked. He clenched his hand again as the pain returned. Youko Youko looked away as Artemus spoke. So. It seems Sirius did hate him. "I-it's my fault... He hates me because I can't stop 'flirting', as he puts it. What's wrong with me? I love him y-yet... I still do things to upset him! And now he hates me!" Artemus Artemus put his hands on Youko's shoulders and tried to stare him in the eye. "You've gotten this far," he whispered. "Do you really think that he will toss you aside that quickly?" He sighed and sat back down, rubbing his arm. "It could be that you aren't the only one affected by your pregnancy. Sirius could just be getting more protective of you, because he's afraid." He rubbed the back of his head. "A lot can go wrong, he's probably scared too." Youko The fox refused to look Artemus in the eye. "I-it doesn't seem that way... He-he barely spoke to me! I apologized, explained I wasn't flirting but he wouldn't listen! He's so... stubborn!" But that was one aspect that Youko loved. And hated.
Perhaps Artemus was right though, maybe Sirius was just being overprotective. But that still didn't explain everything. Artemus Artemus sat back down and winced. The pain was starting to grow unbearable. He tried to smile at Youko, but it looked more like a grimace. "Perhaps, this is one of the last tests. One of the last ones to try and separate the two of you." He tried a smile, with more success. "I shouldn't talk, because I've never been in love before. " He felt like he should say more, but remained silent, feeling pain resounding through his body as midnight drew closer. Youko "That's right. You haven't." Youko growled, growing irritated. "You don't know the pain I'm feeling now! Not just physically, but mentally!" he yelled, standing up suddenly. "What right do you have, telling me what may or may not happen?" The silver fox knew Artemus was in pain, but he didn't car. He didn't care about anything at the moment. Artemus Artemus looked over at Youko, pain in his eyes. "Because Sirius is going through pain as well. But if he's stubborn, he won't mention it. I felt like I should," he replied softly. It hurt to hear that, but he had heard something like it before now. Perhaps murder did have its good points. Youko "Don't give me that!" Youko growled. "You know nothing! Nothing of how I feel! Or how Sirius feels!" By now, he was fighting back tears. He hated being pregnant... He got so overemotional over little things. Like now. Artemus Artemus put his head in his hands. He gritted his teeth to prevent tears from the pain he felt. Never mind distraught woman, this hurt worse. "I know," he whispered. "I KNOW!" he stood up. "I know I don't know how you're feeling, but I'm trying to help!" He blinked away tears and sat back down. "I just want to help..." Youko Youko snorted. "Why do you want to help me? I've never done anything for you! I'm awful, don't you know? Haven't you heard from Severus?" He paced the kitchen restlessly. "I tease him relentlessly. I've almost had sex in the shop here. I don't deserve anyone's pity or love." Artemus Artemus winced. "I... I haven't talked to many hybrids," he stated quietly. He was started to learn how Youko felt, like little pins tearing you from inside out. Or was that the moon again? He looked at Youko. "Someone once told me. We need to take everything in stride and keep a smile on our faces. To forgive and forget, that would create a perfect world." He grimaced. "She said it better, but it still sounds like crap doesn't it?" Youko "Perfect world? There is no such thing!" Youko growled. "Crap it is. There's only pain and suffering. Nothing lasts long. Not life, not happiness or love. And the only way to get out of this nightmare is death. Which sounds like heaven to me." the fox said, looking quite angry. Artemus Artemus stared at Youko. "Death as a heaven?" he whispered. He looked up at the ceiling. "No, I don't think so. There are small things in life that make it worth living. But because they're small, we don't realize it at first. Happiness comes in small packages." He sighed and hissed as the pain grew worse. "It took me a long time to learn that, back on the streets. Now that I'm here, I'm beginning to wonder the same thing as you. Except that there are people like me here. So I don't feel as alone. Think about it." He stumbled out of his chair and made his way to the book room. He had revenge to plot, and his mind to sort out. Youko Youko sneered at Artemus. "Think what you like. But life is looking pretty dreary for me. My mate hates me. What else do I have to live for? I don't want to take care of children by myself." The fox watched as Artemus left, going somewhere else. Youko shook his head, returning to his search for some decent food. What did he know?
