Megan walked along the outside path, allowing the wind to blow through her hair. She figured it was a wonderful day. Then again, she called everday where the sun shone warmly a wonderfull day. Sometimes even when it was raining. She was an optimist, and as long as the weather was warm enough so she didn't have to wear a jacket, she was happy.
On her walk, she noticed two figures standing near her. She stepped a bit closer to them, and recognised them as two of her friends. They seemed to be talking about something they didn't what her to know, so she quietly walked away and sat down with her back against a tree, admiring the beautiful surroundings, and hoping they didn't notice her and that she didn't inturrupt anything.

"Of course I do!" Cerena chirped automatically, not really paying attention to the content of the question itself until an image of the silver-and-black-haired girl flashed in her mind. She seemed to lock up then, remembering that she seemed to have forgotten something, something important but she couldn't think of what it was, and it was okay because if it wasn't, Chai would've told her so. She breathed. "Of course I do," She said again, "She's one of my close.. friends."
Almost desperate for a distraction, Cerena gave a frazzled look over the courtyard, brightening when she saw a familiar looking and friendly girl. "Meeeeegaaaaaaaan!" She greeted loudly, waving frantically at the other girl (or, more accurately, gesturing her to come over.)
"Koyuki has a secret!" She announced, "And she won't tell me!" She stuck her tongue out at her best friend.

Koyuki sighed desperately, she really didn't want to talk about - about THIS, in front of someone else, even if it's Megan.
"C-cere.." She mumbled softly, "Chai. Chai. Uhh.. did she mention something about.. an appointment to you?"
She wanted to say this before Megan came over. And quick.

Megan started to walk over, wanting to know the secret, but slowed down seeing Koyuki in a distress. She looked like she needed to tell Cerena the secret, in private. After awhile, people could usually read Koyuki's facial expressions. Megan, not wanting to inturrupt her, yelled at Cerena.
"Cerena, hold on! I gotta go... umm... get that apple!" She shouted, pointing to an apple a few metres away.
Walking slowly to get the apple will probably give Koyuki enough time to tell Cerena the secret, and I might find out later. Hehe.
Megan walked slowly, trying to give Koyuki every second she needed.

"Aww, okaaaay!" Cerena continued waving to Megan, but soon dropped her hand in a combination of exhaustion and the inability to pay attention to two things at once.
"An appointment?" She echoed Koyuki's words, raising her gaze to the sky in thought. Hm. What kind of appointment would that be? There were doctor appointments (scary!), dentist appointments (also scary!), appointment with real estate agents and lawyers and bankers and.. other such boring people.
Chai wasn't a boring person.
"Oh," She realized with a start, vaguely grasping to something that was said a few weeks ago, "Chai mentioned an.. uhm.. G...M..V...D? Appointment? She wanted a baby!" She nodded her head. "She kept looking at me all funny when she said it, like she wanted me to lay an egg and give it to her or something.."

"GMFC, Cere, GMFC." Koyuki corrected, and looked around again. Megan was walking away; she still had a few precious minutes to tell her friend what she needed to tell.
"... Uh. Yes. Not an egg exactly," Koyuki fidgeted for a few seconds, then continued, "Well, you see..."
She closed her eyes and opened them again. And again. Taking a deep breath, everything tumbled out.
"Well, you see Chai made a mistake and was writing a letter to me while she was filling out the application for the GMFC appointment and accidently wrote my name in the second mother's blank instead of your name so now instead of you...
... I'm pregnant."
She squeezed her eyes shut again. Oh god.

"...Pregnant?" Cerena repeated again, staring blankly at her friend. "Pregnaaaaant?" It was almost like trying to jam a dollar into a machine that simply wouldn't accept it.
"...Pregnant." Wow, okay. Chai had been serious about the baby thing? Cerena was -- in no way, shape, or form -- ready for any nine-month renting of her baby cave, and she'd told the silver-haired girl as much. But -- it was a joke, right? April Fools was only a few days ago.. And how did one accidentally miswrite someone's name anyway?
..And what would happen? Would Koyuki and Chai move away to have their baby together? Would she only see them occasionally, like during parties and such?
"Oh, that's great!" She managed to gasp out, stiffening with eyes open like a deer caught in headlights. "That's.. uhm.. fantastic! So whatchya gonna do now?"

Koyuki had tried her best to keep the tears from flowing out, but it was a lost battle.
"I- I don't know how it happened!" She whispered hoarsely and wiped her eyes on her sleeves, "She wrote my name on the form, and yours on the letter, I think... but.. but I'm not ready to be a mother!"
Koyuki blinked rapidly to clear her eyes, and continued her rant that she kept in while she was talking with Chai, "... There's LIFE in me," she gestured at her stomach area, even though it didn't show signs of pregnancy yet. "I'm going to be a mother, I'm going to raise a child, and I'm going to do it with Chai. And we're not even together, how does THAT work?"
Help me, help me please.
"... Cere. I need you there with me. Chai wants me to move in with her. I can't do it alone. I'm so, so confused..."

Megan reached the apple, after walking a milimeter a minute. She slowly picked it up, and turned around only to see such confusion in her two friend's eyes. Cerena looked as if she had almost been struken by a car, and Koyuki looked like she was about to cry. Megan wiped the apple on her shirt, and absentmindedly took a bite of the apple. She felt something squirming in her mouth.
"WORM!" She shouted, spewing out everything in her mouth onto the ground. She threw the apple onto the floor, and started to spit everybit of salivia out of her mouth, trying to get the taste out of her mouth. She picked up a water bottle, which she had brought with her, and drank it all to wash out the taste. After getting the taste out of her mouth, she couldn't help but laugh her head off, looking back at what just happend.

Cerena swayed in the wind, looking like she was going to turn into a two-dimentional object at any second and be swept off into the air, but was promptly turned solid again at Koyuki's outburst.
"K-koyuki..." She mumbled, reaching out hesitantly for the other girl's hands, "Just.. It'll be okay, I promise!" She straightened, regaining more of her confidence the longer she talked.
"Just.. Listen! Babies will be fun, they're hard but it's amazing to feel like you matter so much in someone's life and and and -- I have a baby too!" She rambled, "Lethe! You've met her, we can raise our babies together! And they can be like siblings! And I'll always be here, for babysitting or diaper runs and I'm not too good at babies either but we can do it together, I'll be here for you, I promise..."
She tilted her head towards Megan at the other girl's outburst and blinked for a few minutes, before cracking a smile. Soon this evolved to giggling. "Worm-abuser!" She accused playfully.

"It's not my fault the worm wanted to go in my mouth!" Megan shouted back, playfully and still laughing her head off.
She glanced over at there faces, and saw the tension had decresed a lot.. She started to walk over to them, still laughing like heck.

Koyuki burst out in a fit of giggles. "Megan!" She wiped away the last of her tears, and looked back at Cerena.
"Will you, Cere? We can pull through together. If you don't mind... and Chai wouldn't mind, would you move in with us? We can all.. look after each other." She smiled hesitantly and squeezed Cere's hand. "Look at me, I'm barely pregnant and I'm already freaking out."

Still laughing, she smiled, and reached them only to hear the last part of what Koyuki said.
All I heard was "I'm already freaking out.". I wonder what's going on, but anyways, It's their buisness, and they have a right to keep it as there buisness.
Turning away from her thoughts, she smiled and said, "So, what's up?" and finished by adding, "Other then the fact that I almost ate a worm." She was still laughing, and smiling way too much for a girl who just had a worm in her mouth.

"Okay, it's okay," Cerena giggled, "I freaked out much more when I came home with Lethe -- but at least I didn't have a resident in my baby cave..." She thought about this and shivered.
And then there was the question of moving in. Did she want to? The Hotel Lilithia had been her home, had been so ever since she needed somewhere to go and her friends had taken her in. Could she bear moving away from everyone?
<It doesn't have to be so negative...>
She took a deep breath. "Yes," She answered truthfully, "If it's okay with Chai and you really want me there, then, yes. I would love to live with you."
She was going to say something more but then Megan came over. "Koyuki's freakin' out," She told her friend with a large grin, "You know Koyuki. Would freak out if pink bubble elephants started dancing around her room." She considered this. "...Weeeee-eeeell, so would I but still!"

Koyuki brightened up, "Oh, would you? That'd be great! I'm going to go inform Chai now, is that okay?"
Without even waiting for a reply, the mood-swinging girl ran off back to her room, to give Chai the news. A family!
