"Why yes," Tisha responded warmly, "You could say they are always on my mind...dreams of how they've grown, and what they've learned and how they use it to go through their lives. When they were younger, I worried. Now that they are older, I can only smile at how proud they make me. It is an honor to be blessed with my two darling sons. They have made everything in this life worthwhile..."
Trailing off, she realized she was babbling and let out a soft laugh and an apoligy before shifting slightly to accomidate the weight gain. Soon, she realized, she would need to head home and revitalize her energy with a nice cat-nap. But nothing was hurting her by talking to Asi, someone she never got the chance to as much as his mate.

Asi nodded slowly, understanding how she might be proud of two such fine sons. "Aye. Though they do be growin' up so fast these days." He mumbled. Had he grown as fast as he'd watched his kids grow? Or perhaps it was just quick in his mind, and a decent amount of time had passed.

She blinked and smiled again, this time brighter, "They only grow as fast as you make them out to be...sure their bodies grow older, but their minds still need to be protected. They might lash out, but if they never get the lessons of life, they may never be real adults. Tafari taught me that, and with Hasidi, it is the same as well. Though if you cubs lash out worse, you must just keep at it."
She paused and thought a moment, her bi-colored eyes glancing up before landing back on him, "Just thinking of what might happen had I given up on Tafari makes my fears spin. Tafari might have fought, but I know deep down he loved the attention, and loved to learn everything life had to offer..." She wasn't trying to make a lesson of her words, just simply musing what she had learned in the past. Somehow, her newest addition could be just as bad as some of the wild cubs she met in her past.

Perhaps that was where they'd gone wrong in denahi. He sighed lightly, his eyes leaking away some of their cheeriness. "Tha' be a good way ter follow life." He said quietly, and smiled weakly at her. "Yeh be a very wise lioness, Tisha. E'en if yeh do no think so yerself."
His tail flicked slightly and his gaze moved skyward. Time would keep on pushing them forward, relentlessly... and slowly they would become the grass.. play their roll in moving the life cycle in a circle. Asi wondered when death would spring it's jaws on someone close to him, or even himself first. "Aye. Perhaps we should slow our minds down, to ensure we can spend many momens' with the growin' bunch." He murmered.

"Indeed..." She murmered with a smile, seemingly ignoring his first words dispite the warm gaze of thanks she sent him when he said it. Instead, she moved to stand and stretched, before chuckling dryly.
"While life leads towards death, and death towards life, it is your life that builds and protects others as birth, and family. And clearly...my family is about to grow. So now...sadly, Asi I must venture home and rest, for my family awaits to hear the news." She moved close and softly brushed her cheek against his in a respectful, sisterly manor.
"Though it may not be through blood, you and Ari both feel like family to me, and I think you greatly for alowing me into the protection of your lands. Thank you Asi."

Asi grinned at her slightly. "And I thank yeh fer bein' willin' ter protect this land, Tisha. Annee'oo, 'ave a safe travel back ter yer den." He rose as well, he'd either go on patrol or head back to his own family den.

She smiled once more before turning and heading away, a nod the only movement in agreement as well as the wave of her tail as a goodbye. Now, with the soothing feeling of Asi being a closer friend, Tisha pushed the ideals aside and just worried of her sons. Hopefully, everything would turn out alright when the news struck home.

Asi yawned slightly and shook his head, grinning. He liked Tisha, it was nice to have a friend. He hadn't seen his other friends in so long. He turned and began to head back, letting his large paws carry him in the direction of his den. He would patrol later, he wanted to see his family right then.
