Seto being mean to his brother?" it tottaly blew my perception of Seto, but i loved Jou in the manga he was sooo bad a** XD Haha, yeah. Seto frightens me in the manga. whee

Once Yami no Yuugi mind wiped him and Kaiba had to rebuild his heart, he treated Mokuba about how he does in the anime. 3nodding

Well, gee....I like the manga because Kaiba is more of a psycho. xd
He's always been teetering between insanity and just plain eccentricity in the anime, it was nice to see him completely nuts. At least he had a clear side that way. None of that indecisive "ohhhh, I hate yugi, but maybe I should help him, but maybe I won't but maybe just in this season!" crud.
Plus it was just damn funny to see Mokuba acting that way too. I'm totally destroying my next enemy with a poisoned burger! pirate
As much as I like the anime, I like the absurdity of the beggining manga just a little bit better. Plus Shadi is a freakin' gangsta in the books. That was awesome. I guess the episodes of the first books were good, but the manga seemed more detailed, and I'm not sure if I really enjoyed Miho sticking around for an entire season.... though that made it entertaining at times too.

Oh my gawd I completely agree with you. And not only that you get to actually see the characters start. In the anime (or at least the american version) they are already friends, and Yugi's near heading to Duelist Kingdom. You completely miss everything!! Including most of Seto's sexy POV in Duelist Kingdom! And to all you complaining about Seto being psycho in the manga, PSH! Look at Yami! When he first started out he KILLED someone. And not in a happy fast way, he sat the dude on fire! He was this rampaging soul set on vengeance! Hello people! Lord knows how many people he's sent to the mental ward! And the Anime is so much more kiddish. They toned everything down to relate to elementary kiddies then to the teenage group like it should. Don't get me wrong I love the Anime, it's just the manga is so much better.

Yay! I'm happy to see at least somebody liked the evil!
But not all of the anime is kiddish. Just the stuff on kids wb. It was harder to choose between the raw anime and the manga, but I still go with manga. Original is always the best to me. I feel like some things about it just get lost once its animated, expecially since a lot more people are working on it instead of just the original artist/writer. I love the first few arcs of the manga more than anything. They are pure in their cracktastic entertainment.

You worded that perfectly. XD I completely agree. I don't really like that "half/half" personality.
