With her talons, tearing the fabric was much easier. She tore off the entire bottom hem of her shirt, getting up and walking towards Pyroth with the intent to tie it firmly around his wound. "No problem, you looked like you needed it more than I," she said to him.
She paused at the mention of going back to the village. She hadn't wanted to, but it might just be better holing up in her own duplex rather than running around in the jungle and taking a risk finding something much worse lured to her scent. "Sure," she said with hesitation, "I should probably go home, too. I need to rest."

"Sounds good to me," Cass echoed. "I guess I must've been out here all night... I could use a bath. They better not have locked us out again. Christ, that'd be..." She shook her head, unable to think of the word.
She slithered awkwardly towards them, her center of balance rather off. "Really... I think I'd just like to curl up and go to sleep..."

"I need civilisation right now." It was true, he liked to pick and choose at luxury when he headed into the jungle, not to be put there under troubling circumstances. He didn't want to think of that sensation of running, pursuit, he wanted calm sanity.
He held out his arm with a wince to let Kaveri help with the bandage, his paws were no good for things like that now, he really appreciated the aid.
"So, we off?" he said, taking a step in the direction he'd pointed out earlier. The drowziness in him was really beginning to cause him worry, he didn't know how long he'd been bleeding for.

"I guess I can't argue with that," Kaveri said, "I'm not really sure if I want to be out here anymore. I'd rather be alone in my duplex." She gently patted the bandaged area to make sure it was on tight enough, and took a step back. "Curled up and asleep, too," she nods at Cass. "After a good, long shower, of course."
Admittedly, she was afraid of waking up somewhere else again. Maybe they'd leave her alone after this. "Let's get outta here," she said, hoping that they wouldn't come across the site of the body again on the way back. There were many things she was afraid of, but she could at least feel somewhat safe in the duplex. This is an island, there really is no other place for her to go.
