Wow. That's pretty nice.
I have awful luck looking for stuff I actually want. We were hunting for a Bloody Butterfly card a while back in Kunlun Dungeon 1. We didn't find that card, and ended up eventually just buying it, but we did find 2 Zipper Bear Cards both within the first 10 minutes of our hunt.

me and my friend got a phreeonie card on chaos like 5 months ago... after killing him for weeks strait every 2 hours >.> it sold for a pritty penny though.... oh and me and my guild during the "summoner" event found a dracula card and a eddga card, was nice

I found a Mystic Frozen (at least, I think that's what it's called) from an Obeaune... But I was trying to get a Saint's Robe. crying Yeah... Happens alot...
One time, I found a Zombie card trying to get an opal..

My most recent find was an Emperium.
I found a Sohee card once a while back when it was worth 1 mil or so on Sakray, but i didn't sell it cuz I mightve needed it.. now its dropped in price by more than half. gah, oh well, probly still use it.

I've been leveling in the same three places on my priest character for so long now and I've collected so many useless rares that don't sell, I'm beginning to feel like a bot when I vend them. XD I've got like 2x Giant Hornet cards, Killer Mantis Card, 2x Argiope Card, 1x Argos Card, 4x Majororus Card, 2x Explosion Card, 3x Blazzer Card, 2x Grizzly Card... and like 23x Bark Shorts (I don't even pick these up any more).... and never did find a buyer for that Owl Baron Card .... Yeah see if you can guess where I level.

Well, I guess this story counts as 'rare item finds'. Okay, so, about a year ago I was leveling in Payon dungeon 3 with my battle aco, and I was looking for a Sohee card for about a week. So about 20 minutes after I start looking on my last time there, this swordie offers to help me, so I let him. A little while later, we were mobbed with Sohees and I was out of SP. Before I knew it, my aco was dead, but the swordie stayed alive and killed one more Sohee that had a Sohee card! D: He teles, leaves the party and PMs me saying that he deserved it more than I did. >.<

That's just wrong... Kind of like when I was partying this priest in gd w/ my husband's wizard the other day... He kept picking up all the loot including an equip and all the soft feathers (got about 20), and let me die at least 3 times because of that, and at lvl 98 that hurts. stare He was like, you should pick up some of the loot, but he kept picking up anything worth picking up while I was casting and wouldn't share.... He had to have been one of the worst priests I've seen on the Chaos server...

One time, I was actually lucky when I was hunting for I wanted.. Einbroch had just arrived, and I was looking for a bucket hat to make into a Sherlock cap. So I did the Biolabs quest on my sin and stayed on the first floor, enjoying the EXP and killing the removers for the bucket hat. About 3 minutes later, I notice a unidentified cap on the floor... (I thought it was their typical drop and nearly didn't pick it up gonk ), and luckily, it was a bucket hat~ I guess I managed to attain one of the first sherlock caps in my server~ whee

I never found anything rare myself except a Joker Jester from a carat... right after I just said "you're kidding me... those things don't drop Jesters..."
(Mind you we are on normal iRO Sakray)
But anyway, my boyfriend, found his share of 3 MVP cards. o_O First one was Baphomet card, the second Orc Hero card, and the third Maya card.
Sadly nobody would take offers on the bapho card for more than 100M. The Orc Hero card had to be split 6 ways. The Maya card was sold during the time it didn't work so it was about 100M also.
....
Well I don't know if this is really a rare find, but one time my ally forgot to take treasures out of the castle so I asked if I could just take the boxes in the middle of WoE (I always check if there's boxes lying around)... so she said go ahead. At the time I was buying every OCA I opened from the guild treasures... I opened that OCA, BAM Ghostring card. o.O;
..I also made a brisgamen if that counts as "finding a rare"
