Day One
The child is trembling when she enters the room. Those words. . . she still is unsure if she even knows what they mean.
Happy birthday, those words repeat in her head. Her red eyes dart around the room, as though looking for that person, that terrifying person that made her head hurt so badly.
She walks on shaky legs around the room, not taking anything in, just . . . searching. Yes, that felt like the right word.
She finds no one, but her head is still pounding. It doesn't hurt quite as much as it did before, though. She lifts a trembling hand to her forhead, feeling something . . . wet? on her . . . skin? What is that? She brings her fingers away from her face, and sees them glistening in the light of the room.
She trembles again, and walks further into the room. She bends her knees, and sits down on the floor.
"Sssssleep," she says, expirimentally, in a hoarse voice. Yes, that is what she needs. She needs this . . . sleep. Maybe then the hurt would go away.
She lies on her side and curls up in a ball, her . . . tail? curling around her. She closes her eyes, and gives herself to the darkness.

Sparks again attented one of his appointed duties of checking out the new arrivals and seeing if they had calmed down. He knew all to well how nightmarish the master could get, the white in his hair was a statement to that.
Waddling up the stairs, this time with a a present wrapped in pink silk and tied with a pink bow. Though this time he held it out with two pairs of foundry tongs. He had his gloves on and was getting tied of cleaning up, he could be working instead of cleaning.
Making the door he needed to get to, again Sparks knocked at the door with a heavy boot.
" Hey lass? ya around?"

The girl's eyes snap open at the sound. She sits up with a whimper, bringing her knees to her chest and hugging them there.
What did she do? Was she not supposed to . . . sleep?
Chewing on her nails, but finding that they don't taste very good, the girls stands. She tugs on the thin things coming out of her head. . . . hair? Yes, hair, and walks toward the . . . door?
She closes her eyes, and turns the turny thing, and opens the door a bit. A red eye, the only one visible as her other is covered with her hair, peeks out. She knows him! He didn't make her head hurt, did that mean he was ok?
She opens the door fully now, and stands behind it, peeking out. "I do sssssomething wrong?" she asks.

Sparks puffed his pipe, and gave a big cheesey grin as he chuckled heartily, cute lil angel this one was. Blowing the smoke out his nose he held up the gift wrapped box in his tongs.
" Aww not a dang thing wrong me lil lass, I just come tah bring ya a present is all. Here, ya can open it if ya like"
He smiled brightly and coughed a bit, then took another deep puff on his pipe.

She takes the present, her eyes widened. She stares at it in wonder. Present, she knows that word, right? You get those on holidays, sometimes. . . .
She can smell the smell coming from that thing in the nice man's mouth, but it doesn't bother her. Just another smell she needs to become familiar with, along with all of the others around her.
She keeps staring at the package a little longer, before something tells her that she should probably pull the pink stuff off of it. She does so carefully, and puts the pink stuff over her shoulder. . . .

Opening the box, Olivia finds a small heavy object with a silver hollow metal piece hanging off it. Tied to it with more pink ribbon is a silver pen, this is a pen holder.

Below that is a thick book bound in a pink cover, inside it looks to be a note book, with plenty of pages for writing.

When she looks inside of the box, her eyes widen even more, if possible. And, her lips do something funny - sort of get tighter. She even forgets about the little hurt still in her head.
She feels the need to jump up and down, and make some sort of noise, but she doesn't want to get in trouble. What if the scary one came back and touched her head again? The hurt is starting to go away, she doesn't want it again!
Two words pop into her head, and she thinks it is the right thing to say. So, she says, "Thank you," in a sort of hushed, awed voice. "They pretty. . . ."
Already, her newly-"enlightened" brain is telling her what she is supposed to do with the items. She just hopes she doesn't mess up the first few of those thing things she sees in the big pink. . . . book.

Sparks winked and tucked the tongs back into his tool belt with a chuckle. It was amusing to see the looks on their faces. He gave a tip of his helmet and waved.
" Glad ya like lil darlin, enjoy yaself and i'll cya around"
With that he turned and left, making his way back to work.

"Thank you, 'gain!" she shouted after him. "I ssssssee you around, too," she repeats, realizing it is some sort of goodbye.
She closes the door, and looks down at her treasures. She looks at the - pen, yes, the right word again, and then the book. She opens the cover gingerly, and looks at the lined paper inside of it.
Before she writes anything, a word circles in her head. She has to write it down, or at least try to, anway.
She expiriments on her hand, first. Her eyes widen when she realizes that the pen works there, too.
She writes the word over and over again, even up her arm, as she practices. When she gets it just so, she puts the pen to the inside cover of the book, and writes, "O - l - i - v - i - a," on it. She puts the pen back on its stand, and admires her work.
"Olifeyah," she says, and shakes her head. "No. . . Olifyah. No!" she starts to chew on her hair, thinking hard. "Olivia," she says, finally, and her lips do that tightening thing, proud of herself. "What Olivia?" she wonders. It's a pretty word, so she decides she is going to keep it. "I Olivia," she nods, grinning (that's one of the words for the lip tightening!) once more.
She claps her hands, and then frowns when she sees all of the black ink on her skin. "Dirty," she says, as it is the word that comes to mind. But, what do you do when you are dirty? "Ba-ath," she replies, and stands.
She peeks out of the room, to make sure no one is around. She then tiptoes down the hall, not wanting to call attention to herself. She listens in at every door, to hear if someone is inside of it. She only opens the empty doors, looking for something that will surely scream "BATH!" at her.
Finally, Olivia finds the bathroom, and slips inside. She peeks around one of the doors, and finds something small. "Olivia not fit in there," she says, and closes the door as quietly as possible. She keeps going until she finds some odd thing. A tiled area, with something metal sticking from the wall high above her. She sees more twisty turny things, and reaches toward the one on the right.
She yelps when cold water sprays from the metal thing above her head, and she quickly turns the twisty thing the other way. She looks down, and her eyes water when she sees her pretty - shirt? - is wet. Immediately, she pulls the bit off - sleeve? - off of her middle fingers, and tosses her shirt over the wall of the stall. Maybe it won't get wet up there? She strips off her - pants? - and does the same with those. She loosens the long bits of her hair, and puts the ribbon up with her other clothes. Once she gets her shoes and socks off, she reaches a trembling hand in front of her. She messes with the twisty things until she is sure that she can be comfortable in this wet stuff.
"Ssssssoap," she whispers, and looks around for something that looks like this word. She finds it, and blinks when she sees it get wet. Oh no, it is trying to get away! She reaches down and grabs it again, only to have it slip out of her hands.
"Mean," she says, thinking it is the right word.
She gets a good grip on the soap, and runs her hand over it. Her brow furrows when she sees shiny circle things appear on the soap. Immediately forgetting about the soap, she looks at her pink hands. They are there, too! She rubs at them, and notices the black stuff is coming off of her hands. This is what this soap is for then!
~*~*~***~*~*~
Olivia is clean, and dressed, once more. But, she feels like she needs to inspect the place.
She comes across a shiney something. She is about to inspect it, when something pops out. Her eyes widen, and so does the something that is on the shiney thing.
"Girl?" she says softly. She can be her . . . friend! She reaches out to touch her, but is met with cold where her hand meets the girl's. Olivia frowns, feeling something inside of her - she remembers it is this something called sadness. "You no get out?" she asks, and sees the girl's lips move with hers. "I figure way. I come ssssssee you everyday. I Olivia," she says. The girl's lips stop moving when Olivia's does, and she slumps over, letting her hand fall. She watches as the girl does the same.
Thinking she is sad, she shakes her head. "No worry, I come back. Ssssee you around," she says, and hurries back to her room, noticing the girl hurries to the side, as well. She must be scared too! Poor girl. . . .
Olivia lies back on the floor where she had been sleeping before, and closes her eyes. She drifts off again, thinking of what she will tell the other girl when she goes back to see her.

Day Two. . .
Olivia wakes up, a little disorriented. Slowly, she sits up, and realizes she is no longer in her good sleeping place. What happened? How did she get on something so soft?
She looks down at what she is lying on, and her vocabulary tells her that she is on a bed. With covers over her legs. And, she doesn't have her red boots on anymore.
She frowns, and slips out of the bed. Something in her head makes her smoothe the covers out.
She then rushes off to talk to her friend from yesterday, and take another run under that metal thing that leaks. She changes into one of her other outfits, and tiptoes out of the house. She doesn't want to get in trouble, what if she isn't supposed to leave?
She just doens't want to stay inside anymore. So, she starts to wander around. . . .

First Time Out. . . Taro Rae After aimlessly wandering the streets of Toxicity, Krait found his little feet had lead him back to the Mall. He wandered in appologizing again when the constructs came to wipe away his finger prints from the glass. Krait walked into te mall, looking for something to catch his interest. He wanted to lookat the many things this establishment offered. But where to start? Krait walked towards the left row of shops this time, and peered in the window of the first. It contained many lacey and often sheer garments that looked to Krait to offer no warmth at all. He stood staring at a female mannequin with a very small amount of fabric strapped over her breasts and groin ad Krait's eybrows rose. Do girl really wear that sort of thing? He wondered to himself. He couldn't imagine ever dressing in something like that. Krait walked on... Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Olivia thought she saw someone come in here. . . . This one wasn't stuck in that cool, shiney place, either. And, it definitely didn't wear pink. . . .
She walks through the doors she thought she saw the other walk through, and looks back with amazed, red eyes as those . . . constructs? clean the clear stuff again.
She smiles sheepishly, and puts her hands in the pockets of her pale pink jeans, and hurries further in.
Her eyes widen when she sees all of the stuff. She definitely doesn't have any of this in that place she slept in!
Easily distracted, she shakes her head, absently pushing the long bit of bangs out of her eye, only to have it fall over it again. She is here to look for that other person, after all. . . .
She looks right, and sees no sign of the person. She turns left, and sees someone wandering down the hall. Without saying a word, she walks in that direction, her red boots thumping against the floor. She looks at all the stuff with the same awed expression, even if she is glancing after the pale person further off. She lifts a pink hand out of her jeans, and tugs on a little curl of her pale hair. Taro Rae Krait stopped walking abruptly. A sound. He listened carefully. Yes, sure enough the tap tap of feet. Krait froze, he held his breath, his tail curled aronud his leg and clung to his knee. His little heart raced. Someone was here. Don't be silly he admonished himself. You were looking forward to meeting others in this city. alm down, now...at least take a look.It took several breaths and much self-coaxing, but finally, Krait turned on the spot to look around the mall. There between him and the exit doors was a small creature, about his own size and pink from head to foot. Krait blinked and said nothing. His tail stroked his knee cap but refused to come loose from his leg. Was it safe? Should he say something?Krait watched the other move closer and blinked in indecision, his blue tongue sticking out and tasting the air. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Olivia's eyes widen when she sees the other . . . child? look at her. She turns her head, the long hair on the sides of her head bounce along with the red ribbon holding it in the style that she seems to prefer.
She tugs on the bit of sleeve looped over her middle finger on her left hand, and glances to look at the other one.
"Hello?" she says, in a meek voice, not really sure that she even spoke. "I-I Olivia," she says, looking over again, and catching the flick of his tongue. She mimics him, not meaning to be mean about it, just doing so expirimentally. Taro Rae Krait blinked. It spoke to him. A soft voice, not unlike his own... "Hello, my name isth Krait." Krait replied, and flicked his tongue again. He didn't smell any danger. Krait took a deep breath and then a small step forward. What to say, though? Krait had wanted to meet another like himself, but now...face to face with what very well might be kin, he had no words. His tail slowly uncurled from hs leg and began to swish restlessly behind him as he looked aronud sheepishly. He ground the toe of one boot into the floor and wiggled his foot around on the pivet. Hrm... Krait thought to himself. Now what?He cautioned another glance up at the pink one and tentatively offered a small smile. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar It spoke! And, it has a word, too! Olivia grins, all but bouncing from foot to foot.
She takes tentative steps toward this Krait, until she is standing about a foot in front of him. "I. . . enjoying meet you," she says, nodding in a proud way over her words. Hey, she is getting better at this. Her own long tail seems to swish behind her in the same, proud way. She tilts her head to the side, and looks at Krait's . . . eyes? "I like thossssse," she says, pointing at the only visible eye on her own face.
So excited over another child capable of speech is Olivia, that her own paranoia over doing something that will get her another hurt in her head evaporates. "You come here before, Krait?" Taro Rae Krait seemed to shrink where he stood as the other came closer. As he listened to her words his shrugged shoulders relaxed and he cowered less. "Yesth..." Krait replied slowly. "I've been here oncthe before. I wasth hungry." Krait added, almost appologetically. "And you?" He asked. Olivia? Is that what she called herself? Krait peered at her, the blatant staring of a child unchecked as he took in her colours, her hair, her face. Instinctually Krait began to lean to one side trying to see under her thick bang of pale pink hair and catch sight of the hidden eye... Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "I not been out of room. Only ssssshower, then back," Olivia replies. "Thissssss firssssst time here," she adds.
She tilts her head to the side, and mimics his movements. "What Krait looking for?" she asks, frowning a little. Then, she smiles so wide, her eyes almost shut. "Oh!" she says. She lifts her bangs enough to show Krait her other eye. "I have sssssame assssss you," she says, obviously proud again, because she is getting really good at talking with Krait.
She lets her bangs fall back over her eye, and grabs her tail, hugging it to her chest. "Have you been to more placccessss when not hungry? Maybe Krait can ssssssshow me?" Taro Rae Krait blinked and looked into her unobstructed face. A simple, smooth, sweet face smiled back at him. Krait relaxed a little more and smiled. "I haven't been before. I wasth justht exthploring." Krait's tongue tripped over the series of 's' sounds and he licked his lips before continuing. "Do you want to come with me?" Krait pointed to the shops. "There are many. I am looking for something new to play with. What do you want to sthee?" Krait asked, and his tail curled up to stroke the side of her tail before swishing back behind him. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Olivia listens to Krait, intently, and watches his lips just as closely. More to learn, than anything. Krait speaks more words than Olivia, and she thinks she might be saying some things wrong.
When his tail runs over hers, she almost jumps, and lets go of her tail. Then, she giggles, smiling again. "That . . . ticklessss?" she looks up, as though trying to peek in her brain, before coming to the decision that she used the right word for that new sensation.
She takes a step closer, and mimics his tail movement, reaching out with hers, and hoping her tail is long enough to brush his.
Then, she nods, her curls bouncing with the movement of her head, along with her strange pony tail and the ribbon again. "We can . . . exthplore together, then. I follow you?" Then, her eyes widen again, as though she remembers something. "Niccccce little man gave me pretty book and pen to . . . write? . . . in the book with. Maybe you like? Might be fun for . . . play?" Taro Rae Krait allows his tail to twist with hers, the sensation of another's touch new and foreign to him. He experiences the new sensation wholely and intently and for a long moment he does not reply. Eventually he drags his attention away from the touch on tail on tail and looks up to Olivia. "You met the sthrange man too?" Krait smiled. Something common. Commonality meant security. Security meant safety. Krait relaxed a little more. "He gave me a pair of binocularsth." Krait held up his hands to his eyes and made circles with his thumbs and forefingers. He peered through these at Olivia and blinked several times before dropping his hands back to his sides. "An' sure...I like to write... But I kind of want sthomething to draw with. I've sthcribbled with my pen...and it isthn't very good. But maybe I can find sthomething with coloursth to usthe." Krait tripped again over his tongue. This was the most he'd spoken so far, and he was trying to get used to pronouncing the words. "Do you want to find sthomething for your book? I'm sure there'sth a sthtore around here that might have those thingsth...." Krait began to wander the Mall corridor looking for a shop that might contain stationary supplies. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Olivia bends closer when he puts his hands to his eyes, and peers into them. This is new! "Bino. . . binocularsssssth sssssound fun. Sssssssometime ssssoon, I ssssshow you the book and pen, and you ssssshow me binocularsssssth?" she asks.
She listens, fascinated over his description of what he is looking for. When he stops talking, and starts walking, Olivia follows him, quietly for a moment, her tail swishing from side to side behind her in a lazy arch. "We look for the colorsssss for you, firssssst. You new friend, sssssso I help you firssssst," she says, somehow thinking that is the right thing to do. "I like Krait's cloth," she says, tugging on her own shirt, in case she says the wrong thing and confuses who she considers her new friend. "They . . . different?"
She looks away from Krait, then, and at the shops on her side. She is fascinated by everything that she sees, and it shows on her face; her eyes are wide and her mouth is ajar as she stares. Taro Rae Krait nodded happily. "I will show you the binocularsth if you want." When she made comment about his clothing, Krait looked down and inspected them. "I like them too. These clothesth are the only onesth I have." As they passed the clothing store on the right that Krait had wandered into before he contemplated buying some more clothes in the near future. He liked the touch of fabrics. Up on his left Krait caught sight of a Recreational Supplies store, and inside he could see board games of all shapes and sizes, art sets, small toys and many other things with bright colours that looked like fun to touch and play with. Krait pointed towards the store with one hand, and his tail in mimic pointed too. "Look, Olivia." Krait said to his new companion. "Let'sth try that sthtore. They might have what we want..." Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Olivia look at the clothes store that they pass, and some pink catches her eye. She makes a mental note of where the store is, so she can buy a pretty dress and some shoes, maybe. "Are we only 'uppose to have just the sssshirt and pantssss?" she asks Krait. He's been around more, after all. Maybe he will know.
She turns away from the store, and hurries to catch up with Krait. When she looks in the direction of his pointed finger and tail, her eyes go wider. She grins, and reches out, almost ready to grab his hand, to tug him into the store with her, but she thinks better of it. Bad hands! She sticks them in her pockets, and nods. "Okay, Krait. We go in there, it lookssss like. . . . fun?" And, she starts to walk slowly toward the store, glancing back, and giving Krait time to come in with her. Taro Rae Krait listened to her question and thought on it. "I don't think I would want a sthkirt. But you can sthtill get one." As Olivia began walking into the store before them he nodded and kept pace with her, passing through the doors and into the shop. The whirring, rattling, clinking noises of wooden and metal toys hung about the room on display distracted Krait's eyes and attention. He stopped and stared, head turning this way and that as he took in each item. Krait was in more awe than desire for these whirling toys. He wanted something quiet. Something safe. He tore his eyes away from the whirligigs and wooden model planes and away from the kites and the streamers. There, at the back of the shop, next to the Construct that ran the store was a row of shelves laden with boxes. There perhaps... Krait began to shuffle his way, pigdeon toed, to the boxes on the shelves. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar When Olivia hears all the noise, she starts bouncing again. Those look like FUN! she thinks.
But, before she runs off to look at them, she decides she will stick with Krait. Didn't she say that she would help him first? Yes. So, she follows him, glancing at the Construct as she gets closer. So many new things. . . .
She stops a little behind Krait, and stands on her toes to peek over his shoulder. "Thosssse colorssss you look for, Krait?" she says in a soft voice, staring at the boxes, her tail swishing behind her as though it has a mind of its own. Taro Rae Krait inspected the boxes for a long and silent moment. At length he replied to Olivia. "No, these aren't what I thought..." Krait peered at them curiously. Some form of game, these. "Sthcrabble..." Krait read the side of one box carefully. Carefully Krait lifted the box from the shelf and looked at the pictures on the box. A word game! Krait was excited, if he kept practise with his reading, then perhaps someday he'd grow good at this game. Krait kept the box close to his chest. Krait turned to the Construct. "Exthcuse me...Do you sthell any art thingsth? Sthomething with coloursth?" Krait asked the construct. Its mechanical head swivelled on the spot, and it lifted an arm to point to the shelves on their right. "Thank you." Krait bowed a little and scurried over to the right-hand shelves, still clutching his box. On these new shelves were all manner of art supplies, crayons, coloured pencils, markers, pastels, watercolour paints, acrylic paints, watercolour pencil crayons, charcoal...the choices seemed endless. Krait was at a loss. He'd never used any of these things before. What should he choose? "Exthcuse me..." Krait turned to the Construct. "I've never drawed before. What should I use?" The Construct rolled over and inspected the different Art supplies in silence. Finally it lifted a small wooden box from the shelf and proffered it to Krait. Krait blinked up at it. He took the handle of the box with one free hand and was surprised at how heavy it was. "Thank you..." Krait said to the machine as it moved back to its counter and its position to keep a watchful eye on the store. Krait knelt down and lifted the two brass clasps on the box. He peeked inside and then, excitedly turned to Olivia. "Olivia, look! There are sthome of each in thisth boxth! Sthome 'markersth', sthome 'crayonsth', a pencthil sharpener, erasther, 'pencthil crayonsth'...Woooow....." Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Olivia has no idea what a "Sthcrabble" is, so she keeps her mouth shut while Krait grabs the box.
When Krait talks to the Construct, she is amazed. She never really thought to ask them anything. And, seeing that they answer is something very new to her. She smiles to it as it leaves them by the art supplies.
She keeps watching it, until Krait's excited voice reaches her ears. She turns around and looks in the case. Her red eyes widen once more, and the grin comes to her lips again. "They're pretty. . . ." she says, stepping closer to inspect them easier. "Krait doessss getssss sssssome of everything! Lucky Krait." She pauses and tilts her head as she looks at Krait again. "Krait knowssss how to usssse thesssse?" Taro Rae Krait stuck his tongue out and waggled it at the box, smelling the wax, the graphite the wood...So many new and fresh smells... He shook his head in response to Olivia's Question. "No," Krait said sadly. "I don't know how. But I will practicthe very hard, every day..." He smiles to her and closes the box carefully, lowering the brass clasp. "What about you, Olivia? What you you want to get?" Krait asked, tottering to gain his balance with the long scrabble box under one arm and the heavy art set under the other. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "I ssssure you get good at ussssing them, Krait," she says, smiling at him again.
When he asks her what she wants to get, Olivia pops a curl of her hair into her mouth, and chews on it a moment, hugging her tail again. She walks slowly toward the end of the isle. She catches sight of a bright pink something, with purple strips hanging off of it, and a spool of string. On the bright pink area, there are two, pale pink daisies. A . . . kite? "I be back, Kriat. I sssshow you what I like." she says.
She starts toward the kite. When she reaches it, she pulls it out. She looks at it, with a small smile. With her tail swishing behind her, she walks back to Krait. "Pretty, huh?" she asks, holding the kite close to her chest. Taro Rae Krait tilted his head at the kite and blinked. "What do you do with it?" Krait asked, unfamiliar with kites and flying contraptions. "Will you show me sthometime how to play with your pink toy?" Krait smiled hopefully, his dark eyes large and shining. He looked around the store, then down at his hands: his scrabble board, his art set. He looked at Olivia, at her pink kite. "Have we got everything we need, Olivia? Do we go home or sthomewhere elsthe?" Krait asked her. He was itching to try out his new art supplies, but he didn't want to part so soon from the new friend he'd made. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Olivia shrugs, her tail still swishing. "I don't know. . . . I ssssure I can figure out ssssoon. It look like fun, sssso I deccccided pick it up," she replies, and smiles widely at Krait. "I sssshow you how to play with toy when I figure out, okay? Then, Krait can play with assss long assss he want."
Olivia then taps her chin, and looks up, as though thinking. "Hmm. . . . I come back later for other sssstuff. If Krait want, he sssshow me how usssse colorssss?" Taro Rae Krait nodded happily and took a few steps towards the door. "Come, Olivia," Krait said with a smile. "I have sthome paper in my room. I'll show you how to make a picture. And you can make one too! Sthound like fun?" Krait was walking slowly to the door, half paying attention to Olivia, and half to his tail, trying to keep it away from grabbing things off the displays and shelves, but having no free hands with which to do so. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Olivia nods, and keeps holding both her tail and her kite close to her chest. "Yessss, I follow Krait," she says, walking toward him so that she can walk beside him again. "It do ssssound like fun. I try be . . . fassst learner, sssso Krait have more time for Krait picture." She looks at the items in his hand, and something tells her she might want to offer to help him.
"Krait need help? I let go of tail, and have more room than you," she says, and drops her tail, letting it swish slowly behind her again.

Olivia sits down at the little desk in her room. She instinctively knows the word for this strange wooden thing, and she looks at the two little books on the surface. The pink one that the strange little man gave her will not be used for this sort of wrirting, she thinks. She wants more . . . creative? things to go in there, because it is so pretty!
Instead, she looks over at the plain, purple-covered spiral notebook. She picks up the pen that the little man gave her, as well, and opens the notebook carefully.
With her tongue poking out between her teeth, she starts to write.
I met niyce boye toodaye. His nayme Krayt. He gowe with me to pik kyt. I theenk I hafe new frend! I hope he get prac praktiss with his colurs sowe he hafe mor fun with them! I see Krayt soone, I theenk. We lern how to uz kyt, so we playe owt uv hose more?
I gowe bak to shops soon, sowe I look arownd mor for theengs to do.
She smiles, looking down at the journal. All in all, Olivia believes she had a good day. She can't wait to tell her friend in the shiney world about it tomorrow!

It had been a while before Olivia actually went back to the mall. Over a week. But, to her credit, she had been busy. Just exploring the place she lived in was something big to her.
By now, she knows that she can get food here. The smell of the stuff that she knows as meat makes her ill, though. Especially when she found out what this meat was. Who could eat those poor animals! They are all so cute! So, she has been sticking to the plant stuff.
About three days ago, she decided to start exploring outside. At first, she would walk, just looking around. But, she felt the need to walk faster. She later realized what she wanted to do was called 'running.' So, every morning since then, she has been running. It makes her all sticky, so she waits to visit her friend in the shiney place until after this morning activity.
Right now, though, she has ran, has eatten, has spoken with her friend, and is on her way to the place she met Krait in. She saw lots of pink things in there that she is just dying to look at!
~*~*~***~*~*~
When she comes back to her room, she has two new outfits, and two new pairs of underclothes. She puts them gently over the back of her chair, before sliding into it. She looks at her desk top, running a finger over it for a moment. She doens't think she will write in the purple book right now. And, anyway, she picked up another book, one with stuff already written in it!
Giggling, she opens the book, and looks down at the words. Some of them, she knows, and the others, she is going to have to struggle through. So, she sits there, until her eyes feel like they are burning. Stretching and yawning, she goes to the bed, and flops down on it. Soon, she is sleeping.

When Olivia eventually uses her writing set, she will find that her pen firstly is special. When it happens that she hs a colour in mind, the pen will write in that colour. Also the book is special as well, for when ink touches it's pages, it will write to Olivia, trying to communicate with her. She will find that the book is wise and kind, and will store all her writing for her, and bring it all back later. The only way the book can listen though is to see writing on the page
